Whilst everyone was laughing Marlene took Lily's camera and launched herself onto the nearest bed and began to happily snap multiple pictures of her laughing friends, bar Lily who looked mortified with her head in her hands. Well she said she wanted to capture memories! Once Lily had finally finished stuttering apologies and everyone had stopped laughing at the red mark on Sirius' forehead an awkward silence fell over the group. Dorcas, as always, took it upon herself to break the silence, "so Jamesy, what drinks have you prepared for us?" she said whilst diving onto the bed nearest the drinks table, which just so happened to be Remus'.
"Well dear Dorcas we have the classics: firewhiskey, butterbear and Rosmerta's mead, as well as some muggle drinks that Lils may be aware of: vodka, rum and some soft drinks and juice to make it go down smoothly." James replied as he jumped onto the bed next to Dorcas , sending her flying. "Oh Dorcas do get up would you, sprawling on the floor already, maybe you shouldn't have anything to drink after all, especially not the hideous punch Sirius made using almost all the different types of alcohol we have acquired "
It was easy to forget that both Dorcas and James came from high profile pureblood families but when together they made a point of trying to speak eloquently as they had always been taught whilst growing up. Their families had often attended the same social events when they were younger and thus they were old friends, much to the surprise of everyone who did not know them personally.
Remus stood up and straightened his jumper, "well if you two have finished messing up my bedsheets, who wants a drink? Ladies first!" he said whilst looking pointedly at Sirius who was about to shout something then abruptly closed his mouth.
"A rum and coke for me please Rem, Lily has had me hooked on the stuff since THAT night" Marlene gave Lily a cheeky wink, earning a giggle from the quiet red head, "in fact, make it a double, seeing as it's a party!"
"Can me and Alice have a butterbeer please Remus?" Emma asked quietly, as if afraid to raise her voice above the music playing from a stereo situated next to Sirius
"Of course you can darling" Remus said with a wink, giving Marlene her drink and heading back to the table, "two butterbears coming up!"
Emma's face erupted in a pretty blush that spread from her hairline to her neck, tainting her pale skin, "Oh erm, thanks" she mumbled.
Alice and the other girls shared a knowing glance and smirked evilly at Emma, they were definitely setting them up.
"Hmm Lils I think that you and I should join Jamesy in some of the hideous looking punch" Dorcas said with a grin to Lily "oh thank you James such a gentlemen, and another if you would please" she said taking James' drink from his hand.
James rolled his eyes and poured another three cups, "as you asked oh so kindly" James said mockingly after handing Dorcas her drink before walking over to Sirius and giving him one of the other two cups he was holding. Dorcas' sniffed the drink and found it was alcoholic, very alcoholic, and giving a nod of her head and a small smirk as she scooched over to Lily who had sunk to the floor in despair.
"C'mon Lils" she said as she pulled Lily to her feet and over to a random bed. Once she had deposited her safely on the bed, she gave her the cup of mystery and sat next to her.
"How'd you know Prongsie" Sirius asked, taking the cup from James and moving over from his perch against his bed to make room for him to join him.
"It is the most alcoholic drink available, of course you want it! Everyone got their drinks now? Cheers then everybody!" James rose his glass in the air and everyone joined him, whoops and cheers being shouted by everyone before they all took a big gulp from their drinks.
"The most alcoholic you say?" Lily said after having drunk over half her cup in one go
"Wooh slow down there tiger, yes it is very alcoholic, we don't want it all rushing to your pretty little head now do we"
"I wouldn't go there if I were you James, we all made the same mistake of underestimating the amount of drink she could take and then subsequently were all drunk under the table, I don't know where she puts it all!" Alice said giggling
Lily downed the rest of her drink, scrunched up the cup and threw it at James' head, hitting him square in the forehead. "Somehow my aim also improves so I would watch out Jamesy, I do enjoy throwing things, being a hot tempered red head and all"
Before she knew it, Sirius was beside her on the bed with his arm around her neck giving her a noogie, "Aw Lils who knew you were a hard nut!" he exclaimed laughing, which abruptly stopped with Lily grabbed his arm, twisted him around, then threw him from the bed and sat on him with his arms and legs trapped.
"What… what just happened?" Peter stuttered.
"AHAHA Sirius you got beaten by a girl" Dorcas shouted as she grabbed Lily's camera from where it had been discarded on the bed by Marlene and began snapping photos as he struggled to get Lily off him as she sat there perfectly still, smirking evilly.
"Lils, how did you… What?" Remus exclaimed as he stared open mouthed at the Gryffindor beater under the small girl.
"Oh Lils you got him good" Emma gasped as she wiped tears of mirth from her face.
"But... how?" James said as he finally stopped laughing.
"Oh did I forget to say? I am a black belt in karate!" Lily spoke up finally as she smiled down at the still struggling, and now panting, Sirius Black.
"You're a what?" Sirius said, trying to keep his usual cool demeanour, but failing as his voice became very high at the end.
Whilst everyone else dissolved into bouts of laughter again Alice explained, "Oh it is a form of muggle self-defence. Our Lily here is a pro. Erm Lily I think you should let him up now, he is going red!"
"Oh, yeah erm sure, sorry Sirius, that will teach you though" Lily said as she effortlessly pulled the larger boy to his feet.
"Pfft it was only because I wasn't ready, I could take all five of you at once!" He boasted as he rubbed his neck.
"Are you ready now?" Dorcas asked innocently, giving the camera to Remus, and walking up to Sirius and placing her hand on his chest seductively.
"Hmm yes, wait what?" Sirius asked as he looked down at the girl, but it was too late.
All at once the girls dived for Sirius, bringing him down onto the rug with a thump and then Lily once again trapped him and she, Emma and Alice sat on him whilst Marlene and Dorcas posed above him for the photos which Remus was taking. Sirius struggled pointlessly beneath them then sent a pleading look to James.
Getting the hinting James went over to the huddle of girls to rescue his friend, "alright girls we get it you're stronger than Sirius, c'mon now let him up", he said as he looked down at the girls but when he saw the evil look upon their faces he tried to back away but it was useless. Lily and Emma had both grabbed a leg and yanked hard, causing James to stumble, then Marlene came up behind him and gently kicked him in the back of the knees causing him to crumple onto the ground. Before he could even process what was happening there was a ginger girl sat on him and he was unable to move. When he looked up from under the petite girl he saw Dorcas taking the camera from Remus then helping Emma to take him down and left her sitting atop a struggling Remus to quickly assist Marlene in taking Peter down and sitting upon him also. Once all the boys were down Dorcas strode into the middle of the room and took photos of each of the boys and their captors.
"Oh did we also forget to mention that Lily has been teaching us since first year? Oops! Smile!" Dorcas said laughing before she held the camera in front of her, capturing her and all the others in the photograph.
Suddenly, as if a light bulb sparked, James' face light up, not that Lily noticed. His fellow marauders, however, caught the evil glint in James' eye and stared quizzically at him, until he lifted his arms free and grabbed Lily around the waist, tickling her mercilessly. Before the other girls could react, the boys copied James' actions until all the girl were flinging themselves away, tears of laughter rolling down their faces as they tried to escape. But alas, fate was against them as they all collided and fell into a heap where the boys continued to tickle them. Dorcas continued to happily snap the giggling group of friends until Sirius heard her snort and glanced around at her, smirking mischievously.
"Sirius Black don't you dare even TRY it!"
"I'm gonna dare!"
Before she could escape, Dorcas was also pulled into the ruthless pile of laughing friends and she continued taking pictures as she was tortuously tickled by the boys.
Due to the ridiculously loud laughter, none of them noticed the knock at the door, or it opening to reveal a stunned Frank Longbottom.
"Err hello?" he said cautiously, seriously weirded out by the sight before him. "Alice?"
"Oh ba-baby thank-k GOD you-re here! HE-HELP! " Alice called out from somewhere within the group.
"Erm and how do I do that?" He asked as he leant against the door and watched the spectacle before him.
"JU-JUST DOO SOME- SOMETHING!" Emma shouted as she got kneed in the arm by Lily. "Ouch!"
"Erm okay err immobulus!" Frank said and smiled in satisfaction as the boys became immobilised then he sauntered over to the panting girls and pulled them up one by one and then unfroze the boys.
"Thank you!" the girls chorused as they all flung themselves at Franck and gave him a large group hug then they turned back around and glared at the boys.
"Eugh laughing is thirsty work, someone get me a drink!" Marlene sighed as she exaggeratedly dropped onto a bed.
"Get it yourself you lazy toad" Dorcas shot back at her, which resulted in a pillow to the face, "Oi!"
"Eugh I Guess I will do it, what do you want?"
"Punch!"
"Same"
"Yup"
"Me to-"
"So basically you all want punch?" Lily huffed
"Yess!" they chorused back to her, much to her annoyance.
"Fine 10 cups of punch coming" Lily said as she grudgingly walked over to the refreshments.
Seeing his chance James scrabbled after her, "I'll help you Lils!" he said and earned a small smile from her. His heart began beating quickly and he reached out a hand and gently tucked some hair behind her ear.
"Oh, thanks" she said looking up into his brown eyes then quickly looked back down at the punch bowl and continued filling cups.
Finally, once everyone had their drinks James sat down with his back against his bed, which Lily unknowingly had perched on.
However the peace was instantly lost when Marlene suddenly jumped to her feet and ran over to Lilly, putting her cup aside and pulling Lily to her feet as well. "Lils! It's our song!" she yelled, grinning like a maniac and dragging Lily over to a slightly cleared area and started swirling her round and round.
Everyone watched the two girls swaying and jumping around to the song before Marlene turned around and shouted "Oi perverts stop staring and join in" before throwing Lily into a drop causing both girls to burst out laughing, clutching to each other. Dorcas put her cup aside and grabbed James' hand, "come on, we could easily put these two to shame, I did not go to dance lessons for 4 years to be shown up by these two numpties!". James, who was always ready to dance, stood and held out his hand to her, saying "my lady", and then grinned and dragged her over to where Lily and Marlene were doing some odd dance called the 'hand jive'. Soon all of them were up and trying to copy Lily and Marlene.
After some more drinks, dancing and a lot of laughter the group finally settled back onto the floor with plates full of various foods. There were lots of mini chats throughout the group until James cleared his throat and said loudly, "so who fancies some games?" and after a positive response from the group he pulled a bag full of bits and bobs towards him, pulling out various items.
"Right gather around you lot, I think we should play this!" he said as he brandished an item from the bag
"Did you seriously buy a bottle when you could just use one from here" Alice asked as she waved towards the table of drinks and food, before snuggling against Frank's side.
"Ah well smart arse, this is no ordinary bottle. This beautiful bottle here" Sirius said as he pulled the bottle from James' hands, "produces a dare for every couple that will not kiss. But who knows what the dares will be" Sirius finished mischievously as he walked past James to sit down, leaving a large empty gap, which he filled with Lily by pulling her by the leg onto the floor.
"Ouch!" Lily huffed indignantly.
"Thought you were a pro Evans, where are you reflexes now hey?" Sirius mocked until he saw Lily moving towards him threateningly "Joke, joke gosh Lilypoo calm it"
"Lilypoo, siriusly?"
"Well it is me" Sirius replied with a wink, to which everyone groaned at.
"Someone spin that bottle before I throw it at Sirius' face" Dorcas shouted as she sat down and tossed Lily's camera to her, which she instinctively caught.
"Okay Dorcas' calm it! I'll go then, shall I?" Remus said calmly leaning over to the bottle and spinning it before anyone could reply.
It landed on Sirius.
Both boys looked at each other, then back at the bottle as everyone else burst into laughter.
"So what ya gonna do boys?" Marlene hollered at the shocked boys.
"The dare?"
"Definitely the dare!" The boys spluttered.
'Or maybe not? I think you two would make a GREAT couple!' Lily said, face deadly serious
'WHAT!' Remus spluttered
Lily broke out into laughter after seeming the shocked expressions on Remus and Sirius' faces and the glare Emma was sending her 'I'm joking gosh guys!' she said as she wiped tears of mirth off her face
'Lily Evans making a joke? Well I never!'
'Shut up James, it has been known to happen!' Lily hit the laughing boy and crossed her arms, pouting.
'Yeah you should hear some of the jokes she makes about your –' Emma was cut off by a pillow hitting her squarely in the face.
'About my what?!' James asked worriedly, looking out at the rest of the group for an answer.
'Never you mind dear, so boys what is your dare!' Dorcas asked impatiently.
Sirius and Remus both got up to look at the dare within the bottle that Sirius had picked up. Pulling the dare out of the inside of the bottle and reading it, Remus went pale as Sirius smirked and began removing his trousers.
'Ermm pads what are you doing…'
'Just fulfilling the dare Prongsie, c'mon moony, you too!'
'Oh Merlin, is there really not a secondary forfeit or something prongs, I am so not comfortable with this!' Remus whined watching as Sirius also began to remove his shirt
'Well Moony, unless you wanna kiss me, which I wouldn't blame you for, I mean LOOK at me' Sirius paused whilst removing his shirt only to carry on as Remus quickly began taking off his trousers and shirt.
'OKAY can SOMEONE please tell me what is going on right now because I am very confused!' Dorcas exclaimed, whilst taking pictures of the boys in their tighty whiteys having moved next to Lily to steal her camera.
'I second that, however as the view is not displeasing I don't mind being confused' Marlene said with a wink whilst taking in the well-built boys, both with muscle visible on their arms and toned stomachs but not glaringly so.
'Right me and Moons have to go run around the common room in our pants, back in a sec!' Sirius said as he and Remus ran out the door, thundered down the stairs and it was clear when they entered the common room as there were many loud squeaks and gruff exclamations of surprised. Within the minute both boys were back in the room, putting their clothes back on whilst panting at the quick run.
Once both dressed the boys returned to their seats, drank heartily then looked round the group at the shocked expressions on the girl's faces and the smirks on the boys, as if in confusion.
'Is no one else going to have ago? Hey, Wormtail, why don't you have a spin?' Sirius asked to the still silent group, seeing Peter perk up at his invitation.
'Sure, as long as I don't have to kiss either of your ugly mugs!' Peter said with a smirk, looking even more pleased when the bottle landed on Dorcas ' so Dorcas, what do you chose, a kiss or a dare?' he asked, managing to sound simultaneously cocky and shy.
'Well I ain't no pansy, c'mon then, what are you waiting for, I'm not getting any younger!' Dorcas said, grabbing Peter's neck and snogging him for a good seven seconds before abruptly releasing him and settling back down next to Lily. 'So Lils, I do believe it is your go now, because I just decided it was, so spin baby spin'
'Is that supposed to be an attempt to remix disco inferno and if so it was very poor' the aforementioned girl turned to her, looking deadly serious and very unimpressed.
'Yes, now stop being rude and pretending to be grumpy and spin the damn bottle or I will make up some forfeits of my own' Dorcas replied, with a very evil smirk, earning her a giggle from the rest of the room.
'Fine you bossy poo' Lily said leaning over and spinning the bottle.
'Poo, really Lils?'
'YES do you have a proble- oh.' Lily ended lamely, seeing the bottle land on Remus and glancing over at Emma out of the corner of her eye and seeing her face fall slightly, something that would only be visible to someone who knew her so well.
'SO love birds what is the plan!'
'Erm well-' Remus began only to be cut off by Lily
'We are gonna do the dare, what is it?' Lily said confidently, despite her growing panic but she smiled tightly over at Emma, who noticed and knew the sacrifice her friend was making for her sake and smiled slightly back.
'Oh, Mooney, how does it feel to be rejected by a beautiful girl?' Sirius joked, nudging Remus who pretended to be heart broken.
'You would know wouldn't you Sirius' came the quick and unexpected reply from the quiet Emma, who everyone turned to in shock and who was surprised by the high five she got from James.
'Oh, thy woundth me, how shalt I survive?' Sirius mocked, falling dramatically across James' lap.
'Erm Lils, not sure how you are gonna feel about this dare..'
'Oh let me see, it can't be that bad- oh Merlin I think I just keep jinxing myself'
Snatching the dare out of Lily's hand Dorcas laughed heartily then turned the music up and said 'Oo go on Lils, perfect song, get dancing.'
'If I must then you will be the recipient, get on with it Remus!' and it was with this remark that Lily began sensually dancing around and on Dorcas, looking very sexual.
Eventually the song ended and Lily heaved herself off a hysterical Dorcas, suddenly feeling very embarrassed. This feeling was heightened when she noticed everyone staring at her in a mixture of surprise and appeal.
'What, you guys never seen a girl give her friend a lap dance? Remus did you even do a lap dance or were you too busy ogling poor Lils' Dorcas asked sternly, recovering from her laughter and protectively patting the arm of the girl hidden behind her.
'W-what sorry'
'Woo Lily who knew you had it in you, very nice, feel free to give me a lap dance anytime-' Sirius was sharply stopped by a very hard pillow to the face by the boy next to him
'Remus didn't fulfil his section of the dare, he was too busy drooling over you Lils, as were all the boys as a matter of fact' Alice said staring reproaching at the boy, sending a quirked eyebrow toward frank who quickly lowered his eyes and looked sheepish.
'W-what? Remus I swear to Merlin if you don't give Sirius a lap dance right now then you will find your head relocated in a darker, smellier place!' said a red faced Lily who looked very embarrassed.
'What why me! What have I even done to you Lilipoo!' exclaimed an indignant Sirius
'Do you REALLY want me to go there? REMUS NOW!'
When Lily raised her voice at him, Remus leapt across to Sirius and straddled him, just as Toxic by Brittany Spears came onto the radio.
'Oh God, why me, dear Merlin what have I ever done to deserve this horror! Is Remus really so repulsive that Lily would rather give her friend a lap dance in front of everyone to avoid kissing him?' Sirius was moaning all this, quite dramatically, as Remus carried on giving him a rather sexual lap dance, much to Lily's joy.
When the song had ended and Sirius had pushed Remus aside Lily clarified, 'I don't find him repulsive, I have my reasons for not kissing him, which are none of your business before you even THINK to ask Sirius' which shot down Sirius as he opened his mouth to interrupt.
'Erm I guess I'll spin next then' muttered a shy Emma who gave the bottle a small push and yet again it landed on Remus.
'Oh er-' Emma was cut off from her exclamation by Remus who claimed her lips with his, although she quickly recovered and kissed back with fever.
'Don't mind us here, just waiting for you two to stop eating each other's faces' however this remark from James fell on deaf ears as Emma ran her fingers through Remus' hair.
However what did break the two apart was the flash of Lily's camera as she snapped a picture of them, 'So Cute!'
'Oh erm sorry Emma, I really did not fancy another dare, I must be cursed by the stupid bottle' a sheepish Remus said, rubbing the back of his neck as Emma touched her slightly swollen lips.
'It was no problem. No problem at all actually' came a rather bold reply from Emma as she shrank back into her seat beside Marlene, who raised her eyebrows at this new Emma.
'Right if the bottle had that effect on Emma then I do think it is my go' laughed Marlene whilst rubbing her hands together, 'let's see…' and she spun the bottle.
It landed on Lily.
'Lils?' Marlene asked, sending a silent question her friend's way.
It seemed Lily got the message as she leant forward and kissed Marlene softly on the lips, which Marlene returned for about four seconds before Lily pulled away again and sat back beside Dorcas as if nothing had happened.
'Not bad Lils, not bad' said Marlene with a wink
'Cheers, back at ya!'
When the girls both looked around the room to see why no one else had spun the bottle yet they saw all the boys staring at them with open mouths, looking only slightly dazed.
'What you never seen two girls kiss before? Having lived with these girls for six years that was nothing, trust me!' said Lily with a mischievous look across her face as she stood up, 'anyone want a drink?' as she made her way towards the drinks table.
'Can I have another rum and coke please Lils?'
'A butterbear for me please!'
'Sure coming up!' and with this Lily poured two more punches, made a rum and coke and picked up a bottle of butterbear, passing the rum and coke to Marlene and the butterbear to Emma. Then as a second thought she returned to the table and poured two shots of fire whiskey, giving Dorcas a punch and a shot as she sat down.
'Cheers!' and they both downed the firewhiskey.
It was once Dorcas had emptied her shot glass that she threw it at James to get his attention and it was as the plastic cup made contact with its target that James seemed to come back to himself.
'Oh- guess I will spin it then'
The bottle was spun. It landed on James.
'HA! Even the bottle knows how much you love yourself!' scoffed Dorcas as the rest of the group broke out in giggles, 'go on, go make out with the mirror'.
With as much dignity as he could muster, James stood and walked over to his mirror and kissed his reflection, much to the amusement of the rest of the group.
Once James had returned from his make out session with himself he picked up the bag with games in and threw the bottle back in, 'why don't we all dance for a bit, we can return to the games later', he then leant over, turned up the music and stood as everyone else did too.
Everyone began to dance to the mixture of both muggle and wizard music, Lily and the girls teaching the boys the dance to muggle songs such as: gangnam style, the macarena and soulija boy. It was just a bouncing broomsticks by The Weird Sisters was finishing that that Alice and Lily decided to grab something to eat, heading over to the snack table and grabbing a plate each, filling it with the various delicious looking junk food concoctions and then returning to a bed to sit down and chat.
'Mind if I join you two?' James asked shyly to the two chatting girls
'Sure'
Whilst at the food table, filling a plate of food for himself, James noticed that the girls drinks were empty so got them both their drink of choice, as well as his and then wandered back over.
James handed them both their drinks, hovering a second beside Lily as he looked at her lightly flushed face and the fire within her eyes, enchanted by her breath taking beauty. He forced himself to sit down on the bed opposite them and to join in their conversation. This happened to go very well until Sirius came stomping over, plate and drink in hand, looking slightly worse for wear.
'Padfoot, how much have you had to drink?' asked a slightly amused James.
'Well Prongs, I have to tell you, I lost count a while back but I can tell you I have not had enough!' was his slightly slurred reply.
'Oh, never knew you were a lightweight Sirius! I'm sure I have drank twice what you have and I feel perfectly fine' said Lily as she smirked at Sirius.
'Whaaat no! I could drink three times the amount you could missy!' was the reply of a tipsy Sirius.
'Now Pads this is not a competition so there is no need to try to see who can drink more, I don't want to have to clean up your sick again, or have you climb into bed with me because we both know what alcohol does to your dreams..." James said with a chuckle, smirking at Sirius and gaining a laugh from the others.
"Jamesy shall we really go there? Oh the stories I could tell of you..." Sirius said menacingly sending an evil smirk right back at James and laughing when the smile fell from his face to be replaced by a look of horror.
"You wouldn't dare, your my friend, you can't, Sirus please I apologise profusely!" James stammered much to the amusement of his friends.
"There is SO much to tell, where shall I start? Hmm what about just the other day, what was it you were saying in your sleep again James? Something along the lines of Li-" Sirius was saying with a smirk any Slytherin would be proud of, watching James turn a vibrant red and the horror on his face distort his usually good looks.
'LILS GET YOUR BUTT HERE NOW, IT'S THE SONG' shouted a slightly bolder Emma over to Lily, cutting off Sirius' tale, much to the relief of James.
'Oh Merlin, I'll be back later, I need to dance to this, byee!'

After a few more hours of getting drunk, eating food, ludicrous dancing, games and many a photo, the music was turned down and the group all slumped together on the floor.
'Merlin, its 2 am! Where did the time go?' exclaimed Lily as she looked day at Emma who had just fallen asleep on her lap.
'We should probably get going back to our dorm whilst I can still walk kinda straight' murmured a sleepy Alice from Frank's chest.
'Okay you lot, which of you can actually walk in a straight line? Anyone?' Lily asked her friends.
'I can!' was the proud reply of Dorcas
'Right then you can help me get this sorry bunch back to the dorm room, you can support Marls, I'll support Alice and then levitate Emma as I don't want to wake her, deal?'
'Sure, let's just say good bye first!'
Lily carefully slid herself out from underneath Emma and stood up with Dorcas, heading over to the boys, who were also standing up. They hugged all the boys, Lily having to stand on her toes due to her petite height, much to the glee of James.
'Sweet dreams shorty' he whispered in her ear, making a grin spread across her face involuntarily as she lightly smacked his arm.
'Righty then, night boys, sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite! Let's get this show on the road Lils!'
Marlene and Alice were helped to their feet and then Lily levitated Emma in front o her as she walked out the door opened by a beaming James.
Once the girls were back in their room, make up removed and pyjamas put on, all done magically by the skilful Lily, she finally relaxed and thought about how well the night went. This happened to also include her noting that James looked very cute when his cheeks got all red and flushed. Lily's last conscious thought before sleep took her was definitely not of James, of course not…

James could not stop grinning, the night had been a huge success and that was probably the longest he had ever got to spend with Lily in her free time. This was all going through his mind, as well as how funny she was and easy to get on with, which explained why she was so popular, as he got into bed. Lily was still on his mind as he felt his duvet being lifted and another body sliding into his bed beside him and wrapping their arms around him.
