HOLY SHIT! HELLO FOLK! BET'CHA DIDN'T EXPECT TO SEE ME.

Well, Here I am. Now, I actually do have an explanation for this.

I have not had the time to update lately because of Homework, new school, and little free time. The little time I've had, I've used to spend time with Family, friends... and just basically been living. Now, I will update when I can and feel like it. But just to assure you, I will let you know, I never abandon a story. Never. I haven't even abandoned my Lion King story. (which I wrote like... 3 years ago. xD) Now, I will not continue on that untill I've rewritten the chapters because.. let's face it. It's fucking terrible. xD(sorry for swearing.)

Oh well, Here I am and I hope you enjoy this chapter. Tell me what you think in the reviews and I'll see ya in either PM's or next chap.

Enjoy!

Chapter Eight: Rocking you to sleep.

The gang came to an halt as Tigress who was walking in the front stopped. Darkness had come upon the warriors, signaling that sleep was the best option, yet the had kept walking into the late hours of the night. Tigress raised her head, her whiskers twitching in the wind. Her eyes glowed as they scanned the dark, unforgiving bamboo forest, before they came to a halt and landed on a rock. It was bent in a arch like fashion. Tigress snorted.

"Follow me, I've found a place to stay for the night." She said darkly, before getting a brisk walking pace up again. She walked off the trail and onto the thin layer of grass. The rest behind her was not nocturnal creatures, which meant that they had a severe disadvantage in the dark. But their years of training had also trained their eyesight, so they could see good enough. Sadly, this was not the case for Po. The panda walked at the far back, backpack heavy on his shoulders. He was panting and walking slowly, obviously tired.

"We.. we will finally rest?" He asked hopefully. Monkey walked back to Po and patted him on his shoulder.

"Yes. We will rest now." He said encouragely white taking Po's Backpack which slid easily off his back. The monkey grabbed the backpack, but got suprised at the weight of it and groaned while he dropped to the ground with the backpack comically.

Po however didn't acknowledge him and trotted tiredly towards the stone. But since his vision in the darkness of the night wasn't very apt and tiredness to top it off, he walked right into a bamboo tree. He fell onto his back but instead of getting up again, he settled himself on the ground and fell asleep. Tigress, being oblivious to the whole ordeal had reached the stone and was waiting for the rest when Viper slithered up to her.

"Eh... Tigress...?" She said, trying to get the felines attention. Tigress looked down and crossed her arms. "Yes Viper?" She said casually and a bit annoyed. Viper simply pointed with her tail in the direction of Po. Ontop of him were now Crane, grabbing his front paw and dragging him and at his feet, mantis was, pushing him with all his strenght. Tigress sighed at the scene and facepalmed.

"That's not all." Viper said in-a-matter-of-factly way and regained the striped cat's attention. Tigress looked down at her with an annoyed look and basically said with her eyes, 'What else?'

Viper pointed with her tail again towards Monkey who were dragging the backpack along the ground. He was having a struggle. Tigress sighed again.

"Viper, you go help Monkey. I think Mantis and Crane needs help with the 500 kg panda." She said and walked towards the crime scene. Viper nodded behind her back and slithered over to Monkey to help him drag the backpack.

Tigress groaned and grabbed one of Po's front paws and dragged. Oh, he was heavy. But it was nothing Tigress couldn't handle. They dragged him to the rock and stopped. Mantis was panting and wiped a drop of sweat off his forehead with his 'thingies'.

"Now we only need to push him in underneath the rock." Crane said, poking him with his leg. Tigress looked at them.

"Let's hurry up then." She said and placed her paws on the side of Po and pushed. Crane and Mantis joined sooner rather than later and before they knew it, Po was underneath the rock. Tigress placed her paws on her hips and looked behind them to see Monkey and Viper dragging the backpack towards them. They released it when it was around 2 meters away from the rock and covered a few colorful things with mud to camoflage it. They couldn't risk anything.

The warriors crept in underneath the rock. It wasn't grass underneath, but dirt, so it was hard, but they didn't mind. They were all tired. They crept in and slept for the rest of the night.

'Oh no... This is really really bad!'

Po and the five were facing a cloaked creature. Only him and Tigress were left and the rest were scattered around. Po had been hit with a flying knife which sat in his shoulder which caused blood to drool off his arm. Tigress were currently fightning the cloaked creature. She was sending Kick after kick and Punch after punch, but this guy... he was good at his stuff. Tigress jumped up into the air, clearly frustrated and tired of this guy and twirled. She landed behind him and preformed a double palm punch which hit him in his back. The figure chuckled and twirled around, facing the angry tiger. It grabbed Tigress by the throat which revealed a gray arm and paw with small black spots.

'Is.. is he...?' Po thought to himself. But it couldn't be possible, could it? No. Of course not.

The figure let out another dark chuckle.

"Such a... pity, really. I had expected so much more from the masters of the Jade palace." The figures voice was dark and had a heavy accent. He rolled on every r and dragged out on vocals.

"Sadly it seems... I am misstaken." it said. The figure squeezed Tigress' throat, making her gag. She had her paws on the figures arm and was pushing as hard as she could.

"Very well then... let's make this quick!" he hissed as he squeezed even harder. Tigress' tounge was out of her mouth, being forced out. Her eyes were widened in panic and frantic frustration and she was coughing, or atleast trying to. suddenly, her strenght faded and her eyelids slid down slightly as her eyes rolled up into her skull. Po watched in horror as he saw her body go limp in the figures hold and he struggled to fight the tears who were surfacing. He had just lost his best friend.

He was not going to let this go.

He stood up on the bloody soil and grabbed the knife in his shoulder. He groaned as he pulled with all his might and whimpered in pain as it slid out. He did his best to ignore the pain and looked at the figure. He was standing still, looking at his handiwork. Po saw this as his chance and threw the knife at the figure who turned around quick as lightning and grabbed it in is spotted paw. The wind of the movement made his hood pull back slightly to reveal a part of his face. His eyes. They were light blue and rather small, but they cut through any soul that they landed on, including Po's.

"Foolish panda." it said before it pounced at the panda who stared in terror.

Po woke up with a jolt. He sat up quickly only to have his head hit a hard gray roof. He wuckly layed back down and placed a paw on his head and groaned.

"Ow..." He said as he rubbed his sore head. He was going to get a bump out of this.

He was in a... Cave? He wasn't entirerly sure. He grabbed a vine in the roof and dragged himself out, the vine cracking under the weight of a giant panda. As he came out into the light, he groaned and put a paw infront of his face, protecting his face from the sun's rays. What was that? A dream? He sure hoped so. He moved his other paw to his shoulder and felt for the knife wound only to find his intact skin and fur. He sighed in relief.

"Good to see that you're finally awake." A voice filled the air. He tilted his arm slightly to see who it was to spoke only to see Tigress standing infront of him, shadowing him. She had a scolding look in her eyes and looked rather annoyed. Oh, he did not want to pull the wrong trick right now.

"Heheh... yeah..." He laughed. He looked to Tigress' face. She was not amused.

"So... Err..." He spoke awkwardly. Tigress shifted her weight.

"No breakfast today, You've overslept. Get your backpack, we need to get on the move." She said before turning around and walking away. Po groaned... Just great. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, hoping to get some of the tiredness away only to hear shouting. He then saw Tigress running back to him.

"PO, AMBUSH! GET ON YOUR FEET!"
