Ariette: I have resurected! After 7 months of dissapearance, I have been brought back!

Yuma: Aw, man! And I was begining to think we've finally had peace!

Ariette: You wish! I may have dealyed more than usual, but I would never betray my dear readers! If a year hasn't passed, then it is guaranteed that I'll return!

Yuma: And if a year passes?

Ariette: Then probably I'm unconscious or something, 'cause I'LL NEVER STOP WRITING!

Yuma: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Ariette: *Laughs evilly*

Black Mist: What the heck are you two doing?

Ariette: *Coughs to cover her laugh* Oh, hey. I'm back!

Black Mist: Everything was perfect until now.

Ariette: Mo! Black Mist-kun!

Black Mist: What the heck is wrong with you, woman?!

Astral: Ariette does not own Yugioh Zexal. I hope you enjoy the new chapter.

-Kokoro-

A couple of days passed after the conversation Yuma and Astral had. Yuma thought that the moment they shared would at least make a stronger bond, but it wasn't that way. Astral was polite with Yuma and his friends and would sometimes talk a bit with them; but most of the times he would be by Mist's side and would keep an emotionless expression. Yuma tried to look for a chat with him, but Mist would always come and interrupt with a sarcastic remark or a mocking joke. Besides, with the twins now in his classroom and Xezla at lunch time Yuma had to pay them attention, not that it really bothered him. He thought that maybe he could chat again with Astral if Mist went to detention, but it seemed that Mist had thought the same and was being real careful so he wouldn't end up a few extra hours at school.

Yuma thought of many different ways to approach Astral, but every single one was ruined by Mist. It seemed like a war, and Mist was smart enough to make it look like mere coincidence or accident. Not like Yuma would ever give up, he was still going to try his best. But Mist wasn't going to give up either. He was determined to keep Astral away from Yuma; that also included keeping him away from Yuma's friends. There was one day in swimming class when Yuma approached Astral to talk to him, but Mist had pushed Yuma to the pool "accidentally" and then took his brother to a faraway corner. Then, the next day, Yuma had tried to ask Astral about one of the classes, but Mist had interrupted saying that they had something important to do. Later that day, Yuma invited Astral to lunch with them, but Mist said that he was "afraid" of heights and wouldn't let Astral go alone to the roof where something could happen to him. Then, when one of Yuma's friends tried to talk to Astral, Mist had said something insulting and then acted like he didn't mean to say that.

By the end of the week, Yuma's friends had given up and decided that approaching Astral directly would always end the same way. They thought what could they do to approach the twins, they even asked Dark and Zaxel, but they said they couldn't help. They were family and they had a policy to not intervene in each other's problems unless asked. Though they tried to help out as best as they could.

"Sorry, Yuma. I know you really want to befriend Astral, but it's almost impossible." Tetsuo had apologized in lunch time after another failed attempt.

"It's ok, Tetsuo. You tried. Will you recuperate?" Yuma asked worriedly.

"Yeah. Just give me a few weeks and my pride will be as healthy as ever." Tetsuo smiled.

Yuma smiled back but then lowered his head. Mist had gone too far that time. One thing was to insult him and hurt him, but embarrass one of his friends in front of everyone? Definitively too far. He felt guilty because it was his idea after all and his friends were only trying to help him, but he also felt angry at Mist for being so cruel. What was his deal anyways? Why was he so mean and over-protective over Astral? The only hint he had was the one Mist had gave him when they first met.

"What could have happened to Astral to make Mist act this way?" It was surely something bad, because not even Shark was so overprotective with Rio.

"I've never seen Mist act like this before. He had been over-protective, but this time he's acting even more controlling." Zaxel commented worriedly.

"This is ridiculous! One thing is trying to keep you guys away, but now he's even acting wary around us! And just because we're hanging with you guys." Dark replied angrily.

"Even around you? What do you mean?" Kotori asked.

"Well, yesterday we went to his place, and he wouldn't leave Astral alone not even for one second. Before, he would let Astral freely wander in his own house, but now he wouldn't let him do anything if he's not around to watch over him. Just so he can keep an eye on us." Dark folded his arms.

"He never did that when we were in his house. Worse thing is that Astral haven't noticed yet. We tried hinting it to him, but Astral is oblivious to all." Zaxel added.

"Oh my." Kotori gasped.

"If you're saying that he's being like that even around you, then something must be going on. Don't you know if something happened to make him act like this?" Tetsuo asked.

The others eyed the twins expectantly. The twins looked at each other for a minute and lowered their heads.

"It's not for us to tell you. But perhaps there is something." Zaxel said.

"But even if it's because of that it doesn't make sense he's acting wary now. He should've acted like this before." Dark followed.

"Not necessarily." Xezla said, approaching to the group.

"Maybe Mist had it in him, but after meeting Yuma something in him triggered making him act this way." Rio explained.

"If that's true, then that would explain why he's acting like this now. We need to discover what Yuma did to make Mist remember what happened and take this part of him out." Xezla said.

All eyes went to Yuma.

"I didn't do anything different. I was being myself. When we met I accidentally tripped over them and quickly noticed their eyes, so I asked them about it. Then I asked if they were twins. I found them interesting, so I wanted to approach to them. But Mist quickly disliked me and even threatened me during detention. I was just trying to be nice." Yuma quickly said.

"Guessed so. No offence, but Yuma's incapable of being rude to someone." Xezla sighed.

"So now what?" Kotori asked.

"Give it some time. You can keep trying to talk to them, specially if Astral's the one starting the conversation. If it happens that he comes first, try to keep him into it. Astral would find it rude to leave a conversation where the other person is paying complete attention. Even if Mist tries to interfere, Astral wouldn't go along with his antics. First priority for Astral is being polite. Use that." Xezla said with a grin.

"You're a genius, Xezla!" Yuma exclaimed. "But... Wouldn't that make Mist hate us even more? It'll feel like we're taking advantage of Astral."

"That's because you are. Taking advantage of a situation it's not always bad. In business it's important to take advantage of everything we can so you can be successful." Xezla responded.

"But it wouldn't be fair. It doesn't feel right somehow. We'll be giving Mist the reason to feel mistrustful. He can be mean and cruel, but he's doing it to protect Astral. If we take advantage, it'll be as if we were toying with Astral, and that'll make Mist feel more angry and hurt." Yuma reasoned.

The others nodded to his words.

"Yuma's right. We can't do that." Tetsuo agreed.

"We want to befriend them not push them apart." Kotori followed.

"Besides, Astra-nya is too nice to do that to him, nya." Cathy said.

"And we don't want to feel Mist's wrath either, ura." Tokunosuke added.

"We want to get to know them better, but taking advantage it's not the answer." Anna spoke.

"And it wouldn't be polite either." Fuya pointed out.

"To summarize, we rather not do what you suggested. It's appreciated though." Takashi concluded.

Xezla raised his hands in defeat. "Alright. I can't argue with that."

The others gave him a smile. Then proceed to have lunch. It was a quiet lunch, unlike any other they had for long years, which was weird because there was always noise during lunch.

"Hey, isn't too quiet here?" Kotori asked. The others quickly nodded.

"It feels like something's missing..." Tetsuo mumbled.

"Or better said, someone, ura!" Tokunosue grinned.

"Where's Alit, Vector and Gilag?" Xezla suddenly asked noticing the trio was nowhere to be seen.

"GUYS!"

"There they are!"

Alit came running with a flyer in hands, a huge grin in his face. "Guys! Guys! You won't believe it! It's awesome!"

All stared at Alit with confused eyes.

"Calm down, Alit." Gilag said coming behind the brunette. Not that Alit listened to him because he kept jumping excitedly.

"Would you let me calm him down?" Vector asked with a sadist grin. He had come with the other two.

"No!" Everyone quickly yelled.

If there was something the twins and Xezla had learned during that week, it was that Vector could be dangerous. The best was to decline all offers that came from Vector, especially if you wanted to live long years without a trauma.

"Come on!~" Vector sang.

"Eh, here Vector, why don't we better have lunch? I bet you must be hungry." Xezla had quickly intervened holding Vector's shoulders and leading him to another corner.

The others sighed and made a mental note to thank Xezla for saving them. Today, Vector was acting more sadist than usual. If someone didn't control him, it was sure he'll do something dangerous. They wondered if Xezla knew the danger he was getting into by offering Vector to share lunch with him. If he didn't, then he'll find out today.

"Alit, remember to thank Xezla after school." Kotori said.

"Why?" Alit asked, stopping his motions and staring at her directly.

"He just saved your life from Vector."

"Oh." Alit turned and yelled happily. "Thanks a bunch Xezla!" Not that he heard him because he was trying to control Vector. "Anyways! Guys, look what I found!" He showed them the flyer in his hands.

They stared at the flyer.

"A play?" Tetsuo asked.

"Kokoro, nyan?" Cathy followed.

"What's so exciting about it, ura?" Tokunosuke wondered.

Alit acted hurt. "You don't know Kokoro's play?! I don't know you!"

"I think I heard about it, but I've never seen it." Fuya commented.

"Perfect! Then you will see it on Monday because they're coming here!" Alit exclaimed happily.

"Really?"

"Yup! I'm super excited! I love this play, it's simply so beautiful!" Alit said, hugging the flyer.

"Alright..."

"Gee, Alit, you know you're wasting lunch time? Time's almost up and if you don't eat now you won't be able to until school ends." Kotori sighed with arms crossed.

That seemed to do the trick because Alit quickly took his lunch out and ate. The others laughed at this.

"Vector!"

"Jyan, jyan, jyan, jyan!~"

When they saw the carrot top running away while laughing like a madman, they knew Xezla had learned that Vector couldn't be controlled. The others only laughed more, especially after seeing Xezla covered in food.

-OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO-

The weekend passed quickly, especially for those who had fun. However, for Yuma it was the slowest weekend he had in his life. His cousins couldn't hang out with him during the weekend, and his friends had stuff to do. On top of all, it was cleaning weekend, so Yuma spend most of it cleaning the house with his parents and grandma. Thankfully, his father always knew how to make cleaning fun, so he couldn't say he was completely bored. But he couldn't deny that he was excited when Monday came, so excited in fact that he even woke up early.

"I'm taking off! See you later Mom, Dad, Grandma!" Yuma exclaimed as he exited his house.

"Bye Yuma! Have fun at school!" His mother answered back with a smile.

Yuma smiled and left. A couple of blocks away from his house he found Vector waiting for him. Yuma approached him with a smile, but quickly noticed Vector was in a sour mood, so he sighed and tried his best to act calm.

"Good morning, Vector."

Vector turned and eyed him. He was frowning and his arms were crossed. "Morning, Yuma."

"You're early today." Yuma pointed out.

"I could say the same to you." Vector spat back.

Yuma took a step back. Okay, so Vector was angry. It wasn't a surprise really, but the times when Vector was like this were few. Not that it really bothered anyone, in fact, they actually liked when Vector was like this. When he was angry, he acted like a lonely wolf and would stay quiet and lonely the rest of the day. Those were the days were Vector wouldn't prank anyone and would go to detention for arguing with some teacher. That was unless something happened during the day that changed his mood.

"Would you like to go to school with me?" Yuma carefully asked.

Vector said nothing and started walking. Yuma quickly understood and walked beside him, without saying anything. They were completely quiet until they reached school. When they did, Vector sat in his place and Yuma went to Kotori.

"Vector's angry today, uh?" Kotori commented while looking at the carrot top.

"Yeah. Wonder why, though. I wish he would tell us sometimes what's going through his head." Yuma said.

"You know Vector. He's not one to share his mind. We can just hope it's nothing bad." Kotori tried to reassure him.

"You're right. Thanks, Kotori." Yuma smiled. She smiled back.

"Woah. Vector's all dark today. What happened?"

The pair of friends turned and saw the twins.

"Even more stunning, Yuma's early. Is it the end of the world? Why anyone didn't told me?!" Dark quickly exclaimed raising his hands in the air.

"Dark, please." Zaxel scolded. He then proceed to yawn.

"You look tired, Zaxel." Yuma commented.

"Well, I can't say I had a good night sleep. At least not thanks to someone." Zaxel said, glaring at his twin.

"I already apologized for that." Dark smiled sheepishly.

Zaxel sighed. "I know." He then looked at the pair. "Good morning Yuma, Kotori-san."

"Good morning, Zaxel." Came the reply.

"Really, what's up with Vec? He's too dark for my tastes." Dark asked somewhat worried.

"Oh, don't worry. He's like this once in a while. We don't really know why, but we assume it's just part of his bipolarism." Kotori said.

"Vector-san's bipolar?" Zaxel asked, surprised laced in his words.

"Oh, yeah, forgot to tell you that." Dark said sheepishly.

Zaxel stared at his twin. "Something else you forgot to say?"

"Um," Dark thought, "I ate your cookies last night?"

"Dark!"

"What? It's was a great temptation! I couldn't resist it!"

The older twin sighed, "I can't believe you." He then yawned again.

Kotori and Yuma chuckled.

"Attention, students!" Sensei Kitano spoke, gaining the students attention. "As many of you may know, today there will be a play in the Acts Room by noon. Classes will be attended normally until the time for the play comes. Then, one teacher will be assigned to the group and he or she will take you to the Acts Room. Remember to act properly and, please, do enjoy yourselves during the play. Understood?"

"Yes, Kitano-sensei!" The class chorused.

"Good, then please take a seat. Class will start briefly."

The students did as they were told. Yuma, Kotori and Zaxel sat at their table, while Dark went to sit beside Vector.

"Hey, Vec? You alright?" Dark carefully asked.

Vector didn't answer at first. Eventually, he turned and put his chin into his palm. He eyed lazily at his table companion and gave him a bored and serious look.

"I'm fine." Vector answered coldly.

Dark simply stared. "You're not."

Vector scowled. "I told you I am."

The black haired boy shook his head. "I insist you're not. You're darker and angrier than usual."

"I did told you I'm bipolar, didn't I?" Vector spat, to which Dark nodded. "Then why the heck are you worrying? Whatever mood I am is my business and you shouldn't stick your nose in it."

Dark frowned. "What's wrong with you? This isn't like you."

"What would you know?! You have only known me for a freaking week! You don't know anything about me!" Vector exclaimed, raising his voice angrily.

The students turned their heads to see Vector, who had suddenly stood. Most of them were slightly scared, having heard the rumors of Vector. Vector's friends, however, were worried. While it was true that Vector was angrier than usual, they knew that he wouldn't simply yell at someone without provocation. Furthermore, he wouldn't yell at someone he considered his friend.

Kitano-sensei was surprised at the sudden outburst to say the least. "Mr. Shingetsu, please, if you aren't going to contribute to this class, I suggest that you stay silent."

Vector glared at the teacher and then at the rest of the classroom. He seemed ready to punch whoever got near him, yet he reluctantly sat down. Dark observed him quietly, trying to find something that could give him a clue of what was wrong with Vector. He just knew this attitude couldn't be part of his bipolarism.

"There must be something else. But obviously, I can't ask Vector directly." He looked once more at his table companion and noticed something he hadn't before.

While Vector was staring off in the window, he was holding a necklace that had some sort of red pearl in the center. He was playing with that red pearl, as if it gave him great comfort. Dark stared at the necklace and noticed that it looked feminine, as it had other pieces of jewelry, but the one in the center was the pearl. That made the black haired boy wonder to whom belonged that necklace. Suddenly a thought crossed his mind.

"Could it be... That this necklace belonged to Vector's mother...?" He widened his eyes at the realization. If it was Vector's mother necklace, then this strange attitude of his could be related to his parents' death. He decided that he would ask Vector later, as right now class had started and Vector was too angry to be able to talk to him.

-OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO-

It was lunch time, and many students were getting excited, Alit being one of them.

"I can't believe than in less than an hour I'll be able to see my favorite play with my friends!" Alit exclaimed happily.

"What is this play about anyways?" Shark asked.

Rio and Xezla walked closer with the orange haired holding a tablet in his hands. "Well, we've been searching some information and found that Kokoro's play is about a lonely scientist that created-" Rio started, but Alit quickly covered her mouth.

"Shhhh! Searching is prohibited! You can't search what Kokoro's play is about. You must see what Kokoro's play is about."

Xezla laughed. "Well, if Alit's so excited about it, I guess we can't really do anything about it."

Rio took Alit's hands away and smiled. "Alright, Alit, we won't search anything else." Then she added in a cold whisper. "But don't ever shut me like that, understood?"

Alit was already at the other end of the roof by when she finished talking. "Yes, Your Majesty!"

The friends could only laugh at the scene. Rio was known as the Ice Queen for a reason, and she lived up to it.

Dark, however, was so concentrated in his thoughts that he didn't notice what was happening. Zaxel noticed this and approached him.

"Everything alright, Dark?"

Dark stayed a couple of seconds thinking, but eventually he looked up. "Yeah... Well, not exactly. You know I can't lie to you."

"What's in your head?" Zaxel asked.

"My brain, obviously." Dark replied with a grin.

Zaxel sighed. "You know what I meant."

"I know. I just couldn't resist it. It was too good to let it pass." Dark answered before turning serious. "I'm just a bit worried about Vec."

"But Dark, you know Vector-san's bipolar. Maybe is as Kotori-san says and it's just part of his bipolarism." Zaxel tried to reason.

"You know, now that I think about it," Dark snickered, "Dad would freak out if he found out we're hanging out with a bipolar person."

At first the blond was surprised, he never really thought about it, but then he reacted. "Dark! Now is not the time for your jokes." But as he finished his sentence, he couldn't stop a worried look taking over his features. "I never really thought about it. What if Dad tells us to never see him again? Or even worse, what if he tells us to never see Yuma or any of his friends because of Vector's bipolarism?"

"He doesn't have to find out. If we don't tell him, then he won't ask us such a thing."

"It's not as easy as that, Dark."

"Exactly! Now, you're understanding me." Dark held his twin's shoulders. "Even though I told you we could hide it from Dad, you still are worried. That's what I feel with Vector. Even if Kotori and all the others tell me he's fine and that it's just part of his bipolarism, I'm still worried."

Zaxel widened his eyes surprised. "But, it's not the same. I mean, we know Dad and we know how he'll react and all that. We've just met Vector..."

"A week is enough time to know a person if you're a good observer. Wasn't that what Dad used to say?" Dark reasoned.

"And then he was betrayed..."

"Details, details." Dark brushed it off, "The point is, I know something's not right with Vector and I'm worried as a friend would be. I want to know what gets him this angry and what provokes his mood swings. You know how much I like to observe and study people. I see it as a new matter to observe and discover."

"That just makes it look worse, Dark. You're sounding like a psychopath."

"Eh, that's not the point! Focus, Zaxel, just focus." He closed his eyes and folded his arms. "The point is that I want to know what's up with Vector and I'm going to discover it without caring what any of you say."

Zaxel sighed. When his brother made up his mind, it was hard to change it. "Alright then. In that case, would you like some help?"

Dark smiled at his brother. He liked that the blond understood him so perfectly. "Yes. In fact, I was waiting that you asked it. I need Black's help."

"Mist? Why in the world would you want Mist's help? Or better said, why in the world would Mist even help you when you know he hates all of Yuma's friends and is currently mad at us?"

"Those are details that don't matter. You just need to convince Mist to go with me later at the play. He doesn't have to know what it is about."

"I have the feeling I'm going to regret this, but alright. It can't be worse than Germany's incident."

Dark laughed sheepishly at that. Germany's incident was one he didn't really want to remember. After that, lunch time was over, and the students were heading towards their next classroom. Well, Alit was more like jumping towards his next classroom. He couldn't hide the fact that he was super excited for the play.

When everyone was in their classrooms, the teachers read the instructions to be followed during the play. Then, they started taking the students into the Acts Room by class. Soon, the Acts Room was filled by students who were either excited as Alit or bored like Vector.

"Hey, guys! We're here!" Alit exclaimed as he saw Yuma and the others from class 1-A enter.

Yuma noticed and quickly went to Alit, with Kotori and the twins following. "Hey, Alit!"

Cathy, Tetsuo and Tokunosue greeted Yuma and the others as they sat down.

"Eh, Tokunosue, why are you here? I thought you were in class 1-D." Kotori asked.

Tokunosue grinned mysteriously. "There is always a flip side in things, ura."

The others could just laugh at his words.

"Um, where is Astra-nya?" Cathy timidly asked.

"Hm, that's a very good question." Yuma said. He then stood and started looking around to see if he could find the blue haired twin.

"There they are!" Dark exclaimed, pointing at the other pair of twins who were just entering the room.

"Oy! We're here!" Alit yelled happily.

Astral noticed them and gave a very small smile. Then he turned towards his brother as if to ask him if they could sit with them. Obviously, Mist scowled and shook his head. Instead, he took his brother's arm and started dragging him to another seat.

"Oh, no, you're not going to do that!" Dark quickly stood and ran up to them. Zaxel following briefly after.

There was a quick exchange of words between them until a teacher interrupted them. After the teacher asked from which classroom they were, she told them to sit together and quickly. Dark made a salute and took Astral's arm, dragging him to where Yuma and the others were sitting. Then he gave a huge grin when he sat Astral beside Yuma and Mist had to sit beside Vector forcefully. The current order being: Tokunosuke, Tetsuo, Alit, Cathy, Kotori, Yuma, Astral, Zaxel, Dark, Mist and Vector.

Soon after that, the lights went dim and the play started. Alit gave a squeal of delight as he saw the first actors enter in the play.

"Long, long ago, there was a lonely scientist," A feminine voice started speaking, "She had no one and felt very lonely. One day, she got an idea."

"Why don't I create a being to give me company?" The scientist spoke. "Someone who won't leave me. Someone who won't forget me even after I leave this world."

"And so, the scientist began her work." Alit whispered at the same time as the narrator.

Suddenly, the room went dark. There was silence for a couple of minutes until the lights came up and the scenery changed. There was a golden haired girl in the middle of it. She was wearing a beautiful summer dress and had a yellow flower in her hand. The girl then started singing beautifully.

"It's been three years since I woke up for the first time

I'm still wondering who I am."

"You are Kokoro." A somewhat robotic voice answered to her.

"I know, Kokoro," The girl continued singing, "But I'm wondering about those memories

That keep being a maze inside my brain.

Who is she?

Who is she?

Who is she?

I've been wondering for a while now

Who is she?

Who is she?

Who is she?

I just remember a faint smile

Who is she?

Who is she?

Who is she?

Will I ever know who she is?"

Then, the girl stopped singing. She twirled on her feet and stroked the flower. She started talking to herself. "I can't really remember anything. I wish someone would tell me what it's going on. Ever since I woke up, I haven't been able to meet someone. It looks like the place where I come from is really desert, because it doesn't matter where I go, I never find anyone. The few people I've been able to see, always run away scared, as if they've seen a ghost. I wonder..."

The girl sat down in a fallen tree as she stared at the flower. "I know there must be someone who knows me. Maybe that woman in my dreams know something, but I can't really remember her… Oh, how I wish someone could be here!"

After she finished talking, a boy came in view. He noticed the girl and quickly went to her. "Please, you must help me!" He exclaimed.

The girl was startled at first, but she quickly stood. "A person! Oh, where are my manners? My name is Kokoro, what would your problem be?"

The boy seemed to be desperate. "Nice to meet you, Kokoro, but you see, I'm kinda in a hurry. Please, you must hide me. Don't you know some place where I can be safe?"

The girl nodded happily. "Please, follow me!" And then she proceed to walk with the boy following behind.

Alit couldn't hold back another squeal. The other looked at him and he blushed slightly. "I'm sorry. It's just that this is really exciting."

Kotori sighed. "You're such a fanboy, Alit."

"I can't help it! By the end all of you will be like me, you'll see!"

"I'm not really sure about that, Alit!" Tetsuo laughed.

Alit pouted and folded his arms. "You'll see."

The play continued for a couple of minutes more. The girl took the boy to her 'house' and they started talking. The boy explained that he was running from some tugs and introduced himself as Kai. They stayed a while talking about trivial things, and he pointed out that her name was beautiful and that it meant heart. After that, the scenery changed again and they were now going through some sort of forest. All the while Kai was talking about the place he had come from and how should Kokoro come with him. At first she refused explaining him that she had no memory, and being too far away from home could take away the chance of ever remembering something, but eventually she agreed to go with him.

Then the lights went out again for a couple of seconds. When they returned, Kokoro looked slightly older and she started singing again.

"It's been five years and I remember when I first woke up,

I'm trying to remember a bit more.

I got a new life after all this time.

I also met some people who are friends." After she said this line, an older Kai and some other people greeted her with a smile. "They tell me to wait up because the memories

Will someday be unlocked from my brain."

She then took another yellow flower from the floor and held it close to her chest. She looked up to the sky with eyes full of feelings as she sang the other verse.

"Who is she?

What's her name?

Who is she?

I know that she's important.

Who is she?

What's her name?

Who is she?

The one who made me smile.

Who is she?

What's her name?

Who is she?

The answer lays behind."

As she finished that verse, a lonely tear fell down her face. She hugged herself and the flower. "Why can't I remember you? I know you have the answer to all my questions. I just want to find you. You know, I can remember you, even if it's just for a couple of seconds. I remember your warm smile. I remember you used to be kind and very sweet with me. I remember that you have a very important place in my heart, but I just can't reach you. I can't see your face anymore. I search for it in my memories, but I can't find it. Who are you? What do you mean to me? Why did you leave me all alone? Why couldn't you stay…?"

As she said those words, she fell to the floor, crying. She kept repeating over and over again the words 'I need you, I need you here with me'.

By this point, some of the female students started tearing up. They were heart warmed by the pain of Kokoro. Alit was one of the few who was already crying all out with Kokoro.

"Don't you cry, Kokoro! Everything will be better, you'll see! Who am I lying to? It doesn't get better!" Alit covered his face as he cried exaggeratedly.

The others were just staring at him as if he was crazy. "C'mon, Alit. You don't have to cry." Tetsuo said.

"You don't understand! Can't you feel Kokoro's pain?" Alit exclaimed.

"It's just a play, ura." Tokunosuke said.

"Just a play?!" Alit stared at him feeling offended.

Kotori sweat dropped. "Uh, Alit…"

Cathy timidly touched Alit's hand. "It's okay, Alit, nyan. You can cry, it's sad, nyan."

Alit looked at her with teary eyes. She then hugged her. "Thank you, Cathy! You're the only one who really understands me!"

Some students in the room turned to see the scene Alit was forming and a teacher quickly went to them. The teacher scolded Alit and told him to quiet down or he would go to detention. Alit apologized and explained that he was just very heart warmed by the play and begged to not be taken to detention.

"So noisy." Mist murmured under his breath as he folded his arms. He then looked at Vector discretely. Vector would usually be all cheery and talkative, but today he was unusually quiet. He noticed that Vector had been scowling ever since he sat down, but he thought that as soon as he sat, Vector would start talking to him.

Suddenly, Vector stood and started leaving the room. Dark noticed this and quickly whispered to Mist. "Black, let's follow him."

"What?" Mist asked incredulously. Had he heard correctly? His cousin, Dark, the one who knew all perfectly that he hated anyone related to Yuma, was asking him to follow one of Yuma's friends?

"C'mon, Black. Vec trusts us. You noticed that he was acting weird today, didn't you?" Dark asked.

"Well, yes, but why would I care? I don't like him." Mist stated, folding his arms.

"If you didn't truly like him, you wouldn't have laughed at the carnival." Dark smirked.

Mist eyed him and sneered. "Why you-"

"He hasn't talked to any of his friends today, and I'm worried something could be wrong. Vec trusts us, otherwise he wouldn't have told us about his bipolarism." Dark insisted.

Mist growled. He now was undecided. He didn't like Vector, but he couldn't deny that Dark's words were true. "I can't leave Astral alone with him." Mist said, glaring daggers at Yuma who was happily talking with Astral.

Zaxel was hearing the conversation and quickly spoke. "You don't have to worry, Mist. I can watch over Astral for you."

Upon hearing his name, Astral turned and eyed his cousins. "Is something the matter?"

Dark smiled sheepishly and quickly shook his hands. "No, it's nothing, Astral. You don't have to worry!"

Astral narrowed his eyes. Now he knew something was wrong. "Zaxel?" He asked his other cousin.

Zaxel gave a nervous smile. He couldn't lie to his cousin. Heck, he couldn't lie to anyone, he didn't know how.

Mist sighed and closed his eyes. "It's nothing, Astral. Dark and I are leaving for a moment, we'll be back briefly. In the meanwhile, you can stay with Zaxel and," he stared at Yuma with dislike and almost gagged out the next words, "and Yuma."

Astral was surprised at that. Mist usually wouldn't leave him alone with new people. Maybe it was because Zaxel was with him, yeah, probably that was it. "Alright. Please, do not do any pranking. We cannot afford to stay overtime in school today."

Mist nodded as he and Dark stood. Then, both of them left the room. Astral was watching them until they couldn't be seen anymore. He then turned towards his cousin.

"Is something the matter?"

Zaxel eyed him and tried to say something, but he couldn't really say anything. He stared at Yuma with pleading eyes, hoping he could understand the message.

"Oy, Astral, don't mind them. Maybe they just need a time alone. You can't always be watching over them, you know. Sometimes they need some space. Like Vector!" Yuma spoke.

"Vector?" Astral wondered.

-OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO-

Dark and Mist were walking around school. A teacher had tried to retain them from leaving the Acts Room, but they said they had to go to the bathroom. When they managed to get escape the teacher, they started searching for Vector. But Vector was long gone, and they had no idea where could he be.

"This is pathetic, we should get to the Acts Room." Mist said.

"Kokoro dies in the end." Dark replied. He then grinned. "Now that I've spoilered the end to you, we can continue searching for Vector."

Mist only stared at him. "You know you're a jerk, don't you?"

"I take it after you." Dark said with a toothy grin. Truth was that Mist was a few months older than Dark.

"It doesn't matter. He doesn't want to be found. Let's just go, Dark." Mist folded his arms and was ready to leave.

"Wait just a second, Black Mist!" Dark yelled. "We can't just give up now! He must be somewhere!"

Mist sighed. There were few times when Dark would call him 'Black Mist'. That only meant he was serious about this. "Fine, let's search once more. Let's try in the classrooms this time."

Dark smiled and nodded. The two then proceed to search in the classrooms. Eventually, they reached a classroom that was slightly different from the other ones. It looked like an old Lab Room, probably the one the teachers used before they had the actual one. Naturally, the room was somewhat dark and old. However, there sitting in one of the tables was Vector. He was holding the same necklace Dark had seen in the morning, and he seemed to be deep in thought.

"Vec?" Dark carefully asked, in case the carrot top was still mad at him.

Vector seemed to ignore him at first, but after the two black haired boys dared to enter the room, he showed them the necklace.

"Do you have any idea who this belonged to?" Vector asked, staring at the necklace with strange amusement.

Dark stared for a second before answering. "I think… It belonged to your mother."

Vector didn't look at the boys, he just kept staring at the necklace as if he was possessed by it or something alike. "Yes. It belonged to my mother. This was the last piece of jewelry I ever saw her with." He then slowly turned to face the two boys. "When I found it, it was covered with her blood."

The two black haired boys widened their eyes. Suddenly, a chill went down their spines. Vector was acting even more weirder than what they first thought.

"You remember that story I told you, don't you?" Vector asked.

Both boys nodded. Dark was the one who spoke. "Yes, we remember."

"Well, there is a lot more to it than just what I said," He held up the necklace, "and this is the only proof of it."

Ariette: So, I think this is a good long chapter that serves well enough as a sorry-chapter.

Yuma: Sorry-chapter?

Ariette: Yeah! You know, those chapters writers write when they wanna say sorry for delaying so much? That's a sorry-chapter!

Yuma: Uh...

To the reviewers:

Hunter: No, you haven't waited forever. NOW you have waited forever. XD I'm so sorry for leaving again so suddenly! X( I had so many things I just don't know where to start! But I'm finally back, and hopefully, I'm staying this time. Yeah, well, in this chapter you learn a bit more! And don't worry, Astral and Yuma will definitively have their cute moments! (Next time, Mist won't be ruining it. Hopefully.) Indeed! Kokoro means 'heart'! And it is about love. But you'll understand it better after next chapter. Finally, it's here!

CatLoverx33: And probably will for the next couple of chapters xD

Guest: Sorry, but no! I haven't really watched Kokoro Connect, is it good?

Purest of Hearts: Hahaha, I don't know why your review made me laugh, but I think you're right. Even I felt bad, and I'm the writer! Thank you! :) Then you should really finish the anime! It's pretty interesting. And you should watch Sargasso's episode too! Probably a lot! XD

Ao: Oh! Oh. OH. Oh... XD I think I knew it, still, it's fun to tease Mist with it! YOU've been searching half of the world for ME? Awe! But let me tell you, I'VE been searching the WHOLE freaking world for YOU! You know how much I am DYING to see another chapter from you! And Rinny's right. MIST IT'S A BIG JERK!

CrusoeTheWhiteDragon: Thank you very much! I hope you like this chapter!

Percephine: Thank you! *u* German, uh...? Duke Delvin and Yuma...? I never really thought of it!

Ariette: Well, that's all for the reviews! I know some of you may be celebrating a 'special day' today because it's February 14 and all, but I am celebrating that exactly today it's been 7 MONTHS since I last updated! It's my 7th Monthsary! XD

Yuma: I don't think you should be celebrating that.

Ariette: Eh, right. Since tomorrow is a very special day (FRIENDSHIP DAY) I think we could do something fun! As sorry and also as a celebration for Friendship Day, you all get to do a drabble request! :D You'll have all day tomorrow to do the requests and by the end of the day or by February 16, I'll publish a story under the name 'Friendship Day' where all of your requests will be! In case you can't do a request on time, you'll have until Saturday to make a request before the story is marked as complete! You can ask about anything, but remember that it'll be a Drabble and the topic is friendship. So no Yaoi or Yuri or anything romantic please! Remember I suck at romance! What else...?

Yuma: I think that's all.

Ariette: Oh, well, maybe you're right. So, have a good day, my dear readers. And remember: I'M BACK!
