Minerva woke up and found herself laying on a bed. Judging by how she felt on the bed she guessed that she was in her real bed in the Sabertooth guild. She slowly blinked then she turned her head to see that Yukino was coming into the room. She glanced down to see that Lector Frosch and Luxor coming into the room as well. When Minerva saw Luxor just a little bit of relief came back to her. Yukino stood by the bed and looked at Minerva.

"We're glad to see that you're awake, Milady."

Lector and Frosch jumped onto the bed and hugged Minerva while Yukino looked at Luxor.

"Where did you find them?"

Luxor had a small smile as he closed his eyes.

"I found the in a cave that they were trapped in."

Minerva turned to lay on her side but had her back facing them. That was something that Yukino found surprising then Luxor looked at her.

"Where is the Master?"

Yukino looked away.

"The Master is out on another guild master meeting."

Luxord nodded then soon the door opened again. This time it was Sting, Rogue, Orga and Rufus. When Lector saw Sting he ran to him with tears forming in his eyes.

"Sting!"

"Lector!"

Sting had his cat friend in his arms and the same was with Rogue and Frosch. Luxor just saw them hug each other as if they had been missing for a long time then he looked at Minerva.

'So in this place, she felt trapped and alone.'

Luxor looked at the four males that had came into the room then Sting had a large toothy smile.

"So you're the one who brought our comrades back safe and sound."

Luxor gave a nod.

"Yes, I am Luxor."

"So cool! We have another Exceed!"

Lector and Frosch high pawed each other but they saw that Luxor didn't look too happy about it and that he climbed on top of the bed to look at Minerva.

"You should talk to them before your father comes back, they seem to have missed you."

Minerva didn't say anything then Luxor turned to get off the bed.

"I'm going outside."

Before he could get off the bed Minerva had sat up and hugged Luxor to her, resting her head on his. Everyone was surprised to see that happen but Luxor didn't seem to mind. Sting blinked then looked at the big eared Exceed.

"Are you going to be the Lady's Exceed?"

Luxord looked at him nodding his head."

"Yes I am."

Two days have passed since Minerva, Lector, Frosch and Luxor had returned from Edolas. During the time being, Luxor had noticed that that Minerva had been in such great depression that she wouldn't leave her room and going on a job request wasn't enough to get her out. He made sure that she would at least eat something.

When Luxor had met the Earthland Gemma, he was beyond appalled and fully understood why Minerva was depressed. Luxor had made a mental promise to himself to stay with Minerva no matter what.

On the third day of coming back to Earthland Luxor was wondering where Minerva had went to. All he recalled was that when it was morning she was in her room but when he came to bring her some breakfast she was gone. He didn't bother asking the others where she went since he witnessed that whenever Gemma was around the whole guild was just a dark lonely place.

Luxor ran to look for Minerva outside.

With Minerva

Minerva was walking through the forest. She just wanted to be out of the guild but she didn't want to go on a quest. She just couldn't get her Edolas father out of her mind, even if she wanted to, she just couldn't. It had been the first time that she ever received any affection from him. She looked down at the half locket that she still had that Laverna gave to her but she clutched it in her hand. A tear formed then slid down her cheek. She quickly wiped the tear from her eyes and kept walking.

'Father...'

As she kept walking she felt something run into her but then saw a little boy that had fallen back after bumping into her.

The boy got to his feet and took a couple steps back.

"I'm sorry, lady."

Before Minerva could say anything the boy turned and left her alone.

Not too long after that Minerva looked behind her to see Luxor coming her way.

"There you are."

"What's wrong?"

"It's that...your father is..."

He didn't get to finish what he was saying because they both froze when they heard a deep gruff voice.

"So this is where you have been."

Minerva and Luxor both looked behind them to see Gemma looking at them.

Minerva knew well what her father was going to say but she wasn't sure what he was planning.

Gemma was the first to start.

"Why are you showing signs of weakness?! Have you forgotten that you are in the strongest guild?!"

Minerva didn't answer but made the mistake of looking away from her father which angered him even more.

"Are you even listening to me?!"

"..."

Gemma's face deepened into a glare then he spoke.

"Take off your clothes."

When Luxor heard that his eyes gleamed in a deadly manner. Before Minerva started to take her clothes off Luxor stopped her.

"Keep your clothes on."

Minerva looked at him and Gemma glared at him.

"Know your place cat."

Luxor glared at him.

"I could say the same about you, Gemma."

Without warning Luxord changed into his true form and charged at Gemma kicking him away from where he was.

Gemma raised a brow.

"Just what are you?"

"I'm Luxor of the Guardian Exceeds next to Pantherlily and Samuel."

Minerva just watched in shock as she saw Luxor pound Gemma into the ground.

"YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MINERVA!"

He kept pounding away he was then pushed off when Gemma used a shockwave attack.

"Foul beast!"

Luxor had a blast to come out of his mouth.

"JUDGEMENT BLAST!"

A large golden magic ball hit Gemma and pushed him back.

"Why y-you..."

"I made a promise to Laverna and your counterpart and I'm going to keep it!"

Gemma charged at him and Luxor got another blast ready.

"I won't let you make Minerva cry ever again!"

He fired another blast but Gemma dodged it and had appeared behind Minerva who didn't have enough time to react and Luxor was in shock.

"Minerva!"

The next thing they all knew was Gemma was kicked away hard into a tree. Luxor and Minerva both blinked then they looked behind them to see...
