A Darkness Within Your Heart
Sakura turned to her team mates helplessly Sasuke collapsed from fighting countless enemies that for strange reason are all after Naruto , the blonde was still out of it after she was bitten by a creepy snake man. Now she's facing biggest challenge in her life she has to protect both of her team mates even if it means death for her.
"There's no need to fight anymore little girl.." The Sound Ninja said gruffly tightening his grip on her long pink hair. She winced in pain as the Ninja above her tighten his hold even more on her that she felt like her hair is gonna detach from her head. "There's no other choice here.." Sakura bit her lip hard it drew blood. The next she did shock both her and the enemy with her kunai out she chop her long hair short. Releasing the grip of the man on her in the process.
"I couldn't believe this little brat he released my grip on her by cutting her hair off.." the sound Ninja thought.
"I might be still a little brat but don't underestimate a Leaf Ninja like me!" Sakura said pulling her shuriken out of her weapon holster. "This is not enough to get me and my team mates alive but I will risk my life to protect them because they risk theirs to protect mine as well!"
"Heh, its your funeral kid.." The sound Ninja prepared for his last attack, "After this we just have to get the blondie for him right?" he said to the other.
"Just get on with it.." the guy said impatiently.
"There's no way I'm going to let your filthy hands on Naruto!" Sakura said shielding both Sasuke and Naruto from the enemies view.
"There's no way you gonna stop us.."
"Prepare to die kid!" The second sound Ninja said as they both move for the final attack.
Sakura squeeze her eyes shut waiting for any impact but seconds...minutes has passed but still nothing. She crack her eyes open only to see the two frozen on their spot.
"Huh?"
"W-Why I cannot move.." he said trying to move but can't
"Damn it what the hell did you do kid!" the other demanded angrily.
"I..."
"Shadow possession jutsu complete.." a triumphant voice said behind Sakura.
"S-Shikakamaru!" Sakura exclaimed she was never this happy to see Shikamaru in her life!
"You damn brats!"
"That's no way to treat an obviously injured Ninja..."
"Shikamaru this is not the time..." Chouji said reminding his bestfriend about their plan.
"Well I guess your right Chouji I like to rest for the night now anyway.."
"Can't you guys just quit talking and finish the job.." Ino said while supporting the obviously weaken pink haired girl.
"I really hate bossy women.." Shikamaru mumbled.
Ino twitched, "What did you just said Shikamaru?!"
"Nothing I better go to work then.." he said as Sakura watch him use his jutsu to get the two ninja kill each other off She cringed at the sight looking away at the blood splattering down the grass.
When the two ninja finally dead that's when the fatigue hit her... her body aching everywhere her head spinning.
"H-Hey Sakura don't just passed out just like that!"
THUD
"This is such a drag..."
"It's been two days since the incident Sasuke has since regained conciousness
But not Naruto. .and since then Sasuke has never left her side.
Not long after...
"All right this is where we part ways.." Shikamaru declared standing up while dusting some dirt off his pants.
"We tagged along 'long' enough with you guys..." Chouji added while he continue munching on his favorite potato chips. "Remember right now we're enemies,"
Shikamaru smirked, "What Chouji said.."
"I guess Team Seven owe us big time now but you can repay the debt later.."
"Ino..." Sakura uttered touch by her bestfriend's words.
Ino smack the pinkette on her head seeing her twinkling eyes, "Just shut it billboard brow,"
"What was that Ino-pig?!" their laughter filled the air.
"Take care of Naruto if she didn't wake up until later this day you and Sasuke better need to think of your next move the two of you think of possibility of..."
"We're waiting for Naruto to wake up," Sasuke said joining the other four Genin while holding a bucket of live fish he caught from the river near by.
"Sasuke-kun,"
"Sakura gather some firewood so we can finally eat," the raven said doing their daily routine since the Chunin exam started,
"O-Okay,"
"Sakura,"
"Just like Sasuke-kun I believe Naruto will wake up soon, she's a part of team seven there's no way we'll leave her,"
Naruto found herself on a dark and cold desolated place she couldn't see anything but endless darkness.
"It hurts...my whole body hurts a lot,"
"W-What did you just-" Naruto said writhing in pain gasping every breath painfully while clutching on her neck, it felt so hot and incredibly painful then she felt her balance leaving her as she found herself on the ground feeling weak like all the bones in her body turned jelly, she couldn't move an inch.
"Seek me when the mark has already fully taken over you, not even the nine tails could eject the power I had given you I assure you that.."
"I will give you power and together we're invincible.."
"I-I'm not going to join you ever!"
"What good this pathetic Hidden leaf Village done to you? They gave you nothing but suffering,"
"I-It's because of that reason why I want to do everything in my power to make them recognize me!"
"That's just a silly dream of a silly child you're destined for something much bigger than being recognize by those pathetic villagers who did nothing but hate and abuse you isn't it?"
"I..."
"Give up I know that you have that darkness within you...'"
Naruto woke up that afternoon but her usual sapphire eyes has shown a slight tint of blackness for a short amount of time then disappeared a second later.
"You're be mine soon..." Orochimaru said while licking his lips maliciously.
A/N: I know the chapter does not make sense but hopefully it make sense my laptop just died on me an its hard to type on tablet while using Stylus pen to write, lol.. Please bare with me, hopefully everyone would like the latest installment of PmH.
