Chapter 10- Tranquillize
OH MY ZEUSEOUS! (what is wrong with me?) I AM SO SORRY FOR THE RANDOM HAITUS!
Okay, but seriously, I am so freaking sorry! My life has been messed up recently. A really great guy friend just told me he liked me, I'm planning for my formal and I asked a guy to go with me before the huge confession so now I'm conflicted, also, another random guy I don't even like asked me to be his girlfriend Friday… I've been stressing over guys! D:
That's it! I quite my love life! I'll my my boyfriend so now I'll be forced to have 'dates' (up'dates') every Saturday! I finally found a loop hole!
Ok, but seriously (apparently my fav word now -.-) I'm finally back! I promise to update next Saturday too. I'm working on the next five chapters today as well, however, it takes me Hoooours. (yay for exhaustion!)
I've decided to do replies/answers at the end so we can go ahead and get started with the fun! Wohoo! *pops firecrackers and fireworks*
Aaaaaaaaand Start! (hehe :D)
Cat's POV
Sebastian and I quickly made the preparations needed. I was currently in human form dressing the horses in the heavier saddles. Even as a demon, I failed countless times to lift such an attire for the horse.
Sebastian stood before me and lifted it with ease in one hand and another in the other hand. I gaped at him and he smirked. "You are still young in years, Catherine. You have quite a long way to go before become stronger than any human. As of right now, you seem to have a strength of the human Ciel."
Is that supposed to be an insult!?
I gaped at with such a glare it could have killed him. Sebastian chuckled as he delicately hung on saddle on the fence and another on a horses back. "Straighten that, would you?"
"hmph, whatever." I scoffed at him. I stood on the opposite side of the horse adjusting the straps. Suddenly, I felt soft fingers rubbing my cat ears on the top of my head. I sunk to my knees purring happily. My tail curled at the end and happily wacked on the hay covered ground. My ears twitched a few times but the gloved fingers continued to rub circles into the furs of my ears.
I then felt the heat of someone's breath in and around my ear. "How about a warm bowl of milk once we return?" I began to purr louder and melt against the heat. "And later tonight I'll give you a reward for putting up with me today."
That got me. I felt back against Sebastian's chest and purred loud enough for anyone to hear. I quickly shifted into my smaller cat form and clung to Sebastian, allowing him to stroke my entire back. He did so immediately. Frankly, I couldn't turn down warm milk, a good stroking and a 'reward'.
"What the hell!?" I yelled allowed making Sebastian's hand freeze on my mid-back.
"What's wrong?" He questioned.
"I'm fifteen! You can't give me that kind of reward!" I dig my claws further into his suit, nearly stabbing his flesh. "You've tried to before but I'm not letting you take something like that so young!"
"My, my…" Sebastian chuckled as he watched me form back to my human form. "Who would have that you'd be so protective of your virginity?" I blushed a million reds. "You belong to me after all." He rubbed his thumb under my chin possessively.
"Why you- How dare you tease me!" I shouted at him.
"Oh? But you are my kitten are you not?"
"Shut up!" My ears laid back and my tail curled angrily.
"Why? Are you truly angry with my petting my kitten in every spot possible tonight?"
"PERVERT!" I tackled him to the ground in my much larger cat form. My paw itself was as large as his head-maybe double the size. My tail was probably the same length as him from head to toe.
"So cute…" I heard Sebastian mumble.
"THAT'S IT!" I hissed and dig my thick nails into his chest. "I'm going to stay with Ciel. You can be perverted with the horses!"
As I ran away, my cat form got smaller until I was my average kitten size. I met up with Ciel and Lizzie, but Frances was missing.
"Mind telling me why it is taking so long?" Ciel glared at my tiny, black, furry form.
"Sebastian was being… Sebastian. He tried to 'reward' me…" I rubbed against Ciel's pants leg in attempt to ask forgiveness.
"You're lucky I'm not allergic to demon cats, otherwise I would have kicked you already." Ciel folded his arms and grumbled.
"Meowch." I teased. Lizzie and I began to laugh while Ciel paled and face-palmed.

It was about ten minutes later. I sat reluctantly perched on Sebastian's shoulder while Lizzie sat on Ciel's lap on his horse and Frances on her own. Sebastian was informed to be the 'hound' of this hunting trip. That being said, since he is a hound and I'm a cat, that means we can fight…Right?
"So, does your butler serve as a hunting dog as well?" Frances asked with a snicker. "Oh, or is t that filthy cat of your?"
What? I know Sebastian got me a little hyper over the free scratches on my ears and warm milk, but honestly, I don't think I'm that filthy.
"It's somewhat true what you say about Sebastian. But… Don't ever talk about Catherine that way." Ciel growled angrily at Lady Frances. "Catherine is nowhere near filthy nor is she a-" Ciel stopped abruptly. I'm pretty sure he was going to say I'm not a cat, but I could be dead wrong. "She isn't just a cat, she is much more than that… (Score!) Similar to Sebastian being more than a mere butler."
I smiled (if a cat can smile) proudly as I sat perched on the shoulder of the slicked-back, raven haired butler. "The rules are simple;" Sebastian nodded as he directed everyone to an opening in the forest. "The area where you are able to shoot is bounded by a perimeter of 25km (15 miles aprox.). And also, it is forbidden to shoot birds that are situated lower than the height mentioned. Is that alright?"
"It's fine!" Ciel and Lady Frances said together.
"Very well, we shall begin. The time limit is 3 hours."
"I shall see you later, Ciel!" Lady Frances yelled and rode away on her 'stallion' of a horse.
"Lizzie, you should get off the horse." Ciel urged.
"Eh But I seldom able to be with you like this…" Lizzie wined. Her pink and cameo baseball cap bobbed up and down.
Bang!
"One to zero." Lady Frances shouted through the trees.
"Ugh." Ciel's red demon eyes glowed making Lizzie pale. He held her hand tightly to reassure her safety. I then realized her shaky she really was being surrounded by demons; her own fiancé being one of the three.
"The marchioness certainly lives up to her name." Sebastian mused as he smirked and put a hand to his chin. "She has managed to shoot down a bird as soon as the competition started. It seems she is a bit too tough for someone like you, young master. And to think, you're the first Phantomhive demon."
Ciel growled, the air turning thicker and darker around him. "Hyah!": Ciel jerked the reigns of the horse making it buck its front into the air. Ciel took the hunting gun from his shoulder and held it up from the bottom. "Even though I feel a little bad towards Aunt Frances, I'm not losing to anything that has 'competition' written all over it." He helped Lizzie down off the horse. "Lizzie, stay here with Sebastian and Catherine. It's going to be dangerous, understand?"
We all looked at the young Master, determination burned in his eyes. I knew then, he was going to be one hell of a master. "Actually, Ciel," I called form Sebastian's shoulder. I hopped down and formed to my larger size. I pranced to Lizzie's side and nuzzled her head happily. "I was hoping she and I could have a little fun wrecking the competition some. She'll be in good hands-er, paws, promise."
Ciel looked hesitant but then nodded firmly. "I know she will. But still, be careful." His smiled faded. "I'm making you heal on your own if you get yourself shot."
I laughed nervously. "Yes sir. Come on Lizzie, let's go scare away all the birds to help Ciel win."
"Hehe~ Alright!" Lizzie cautiously clambered down onto my back after I had knelt down for her.
"Now then, hold on tight!" I took off in a burst of speed and zig zagged around each tree.
-T-G-R-
Lizzie and I ran through the trees scaring away the rabbits and foxes I could find around the area of Frances, without her spotting us. We had also done a fair job with the pheasants, but we left a few so she didn't suspect anything.
"That makes 15 for Ciel and 11 for his Aunt." I mutter happily. I make a turn for where Sebastian was left to wait.
Bang!
"Ugh." I growl angrily. "What the- Lizzie, get down and hide behind me." I lower myself down and puff out my fur just enough to hide her. I lick at my fresh wound in my shoulder.
"Catherine? Are you hurt?" Lizzie whined beside me.
"I should be… Fine." I growled out again. "This isn't the type of bullets that Ciel or Lady Frances are using…"
"What?"
"Tranquilizing… Ugh… darts… great." I felt my vision begin to get heavy. "Lizzie, get on, quickly. I will take you as far as I can."
"What? No way! You'll hurt yourself more!"
"It's already healed, just the sleeping serum in my body will begin to affect me. If I fall, run to Sebastian and tell him without Lady Frances or Ciel hearing."
"Eh, al-alright." Lizzie clambered on again and we sprinted forward.
After a few minutes running I could finally see the clearing. "I can see it, but I can't run any further I'll have to-" I collapsed and my body pulled in around itself. Lizzie was sent flying. I formed back to my human form.
"Catherine!" Lizzie yelped.
"Go tell- I can't mo-" I slipped into darkness before I could even finish.
TPOV
Lizzie had tried to move her from her spot, even dragging her, but she had continuously heard rustling and grunts all around her. A few shouts from men and clicks of guns echoed around her.
"Oh, Catherine, forgive me for leaving you behind!" Lizzie whined and ran off towards the clearing.
"Sebastian!" Lizzie yelped returning to the clearing.
"Ah, Lady, Elizabeth, you're running a little behind. Wait, where is-" Sebastian began to grow worried.
Lizzie yanked him down and whispered in his ear something inaudible to the others.
"Oh dear, well then, Young Master, Tanaka will have to serve you tonight. I have run into quite a bother."
"What is it, Sebastian!?" Ciel growled. He stood from his spot at the table. Sebastian walked over and whispered the same in his ear. "What! Why I told her- I'm going with you!"
"Yes Master, well then, it seems our guest will be eating alone. We do apologize, but it is quite an urgent matter."
"You're taking off because of a cat?" Lady Frances frowned heavily. How could her face possibly hold such a heavy frown?
Ciel glared then nodded. "Indeed we are. A very important cat that I will not lose again."
"Well said, Master, you've taken the words right from me." Sebastian bowed to the younger man.
Oh, my Primus! Why do I always get Catherine in such trouble? I really don't mean to! D: I'm sorry (not sorry).
Ok, but this will lead up to the biggest part (if not my mistake) yet. It's going to be nerve wrecking, tear filled and just plain brutal, however, I have mad skills!
I might actually be insanely mad (crazy) by the end of chapter 12. Yes, I plan to divide the next 'arc' in half to give you more of a feel for the death hanger. Not literally death, but like… a really good cliff hanger that might make you guys hate me. I's so sorry too. (Not sorry at all… again)
Oh, Damn you Fanfiction! you messed up my scene divider! What the hell guys? You don't like make shift dimonds? Fine! I'll just put dashes. I pray to Primus you guys don't take that away too. -.-
I did a hell of a lot of editing to try to reign in more reviewers. I mean, you guys are great, but I want a huge family! Who wants some more sisters and brothers here? I do! So, I finally put up the pairing in the summary and made sure to put to pairing in the character list AND I got a new picture! I just love this one! SO... wheres' dat family at? Huh? come here family, here family family family!
Ok ok, here are my replies because you two are just so amazing:
Catovia:
I know… I regret not putting much of her in this chapter, however, she will be back! Catherine will later use the hair thing on Sebastian again, just to punish him, so look forward to that. ;D
Oh yes, the sword, how ever will I bring that sword back, hmm? ;)
Thank you so much for the offer and the review!
Major-fangirl-in-here17:
I know the feeling, one reason I have had a hard time writing is because he's been pestering me to get back with him, but finally he got the idea. I told him off so much, *whistles* man, did he get the idea. Haha, but thank you so much!
Well then, I'll be back next week folks! Until then, review! Thanks again!
