Sakura woke up on the ground at the training field. She sat up carefully and looked around. It was dawn. She blinked her eyes trying to get her mind to think straight. It all came flooding back to her. How she came out here to escape, how she had collapsed, how Sasuke had-! "Oh my God!" Sakura whispered. She looked around frantically trying to find him.
"Sasuke?!" She called. No response. She sighed and looked down at her lap. Draped across it was a small blanket. "I don't remember this." Sakura wondered how it had gotten there. Then she smiled. She looked at the quickly brightening sky.
"Thank you, Sasuke." She whispered. She got up and carefully folded the blanket. She stretched, then began the walk home.

Sasuke awoke in his tent. He sat up and yawned. He stood up, carefully avoiding the support bar on the roof of his tent, and began to dress.

Karin was sitting on a log just outside of the clearing. A tear ran down her cheek.
"Karin?" A voice behind her asked.
"Go away, Suigetsu." Karin choked as she tried to wipe away her tears.
"Are, are you ok?" Suigetsu asked nervously as he sat down beside her.
"Does it look like I'm ok, Suigetsu?" Karin complained.
"Karin, it's not like your never gonna' see Sasuke again. I mean-"Suigetsu began.
"No it's not about Sasuke." Karin sighed. "It's, something else."
Suigetsu cocked his head a little. "What's it about then?"
Karin wiped her eyes a little then turned to Suigetsu. Suigetsu looked into her eyes. There was something he had never noticed in them. It was like she was different. He had never noticed how beautiful her eyes were. "It's… I…." Karin began but was cut off.
"I get it." Suigetsu said as he slid his finger off her mouth. He gave what could have been a smile and Karin laughed.
"You look funny." She laughed again. Suigetsu stood up and held out his hand to help her get up. Karin smiled slightly and took it.

Sakura ran to the Hokage's office. "Lady Tsunade!!" she yelled as she burst in through the door.
Tsunade looked up from her paperwork surprised. "Sakura? What is it?"
"Okay." Sakura panted. "So last night I was out on the old training field right? And so I had been laying there on the ground cuz I fell. I was really tired from running there from my house so I kind of fell asleep. And I woke up a second later and Sasuke was right above me! He bent down and," Sakura blushed. "He, well, kissed me."
Tsunade sat there shocked and confused. "Sakura, are you sure it was Sasuke?"
"Yes! And I can prove it too!" Sakura reached in her bag and pulled out the blanket Sasuke had left. "When I woke up this morning and he had left this on me." She turned the blanket and showed Tsunade the front. On it was a red and white symbol that resembled a caramel apple on a stick.
"The Uchiha symbol!" Tsunade gasped. Sasuke had, in fact, been in Konoha.
