AN: I skipped the kigurumi prompt. I'm sure you're all terribly disappointed.


Well, this was certainly new.

In the 1860s, Emily remembered, people were hardly so passionate. Perhaps the lower classes, she noted, as their abundance of children often suggested, but hardly was physical affection a commonplace occurrence among the upper echelons of society. Not that there was no physical affection, but, rather, very little of it involved prolonged kissing, and Emily rarely, if ever, enjoyed it.

Yet here she was, kissing Matt as if there were no tomorrow. To be fair, this day had actually rather seemed like there would be no tomorrow for either of them after an encounter with a non-carnivorous but very unfriendly Falcarius, and so perhaps this was warranted. Lip clung feverishly to lip, almost in hunger.

Yes, this was new, but Emily believed it was something she could get used to.
