Red Aura Chapter 10
Trainer: Ok so this is going to be my October/November chapter since I couldn't get this finished for Halloween *sad face*
Spirit: Oi! Cheer up at least you got a chapter up after such a long time.
Trainer: I blame school and the need to relax over writing stuff.
Spirit: On to Chapter 10!
Trainer: Hey that's my line! Anyway I hope you enjoy. I'm going to go watch anime until you finish. See you at the bottom (^_^)
Disclaimer: I do not own Pokémon.
The four aura users and Mew appeared in the courtyard of the castle in a bright flash of white light. As the light died down, Amber sighed in relief at being home at last and sank down to the floor. A little bit away, Green and the girls saw the light and started to run to the spot they had seen it before it died down. Once they entered the courtyard they saw the exhausted group. Riley had answered all their questions so they were caught up and then left to find his parents and grandfather to tell them what happened. Green looked pissed off that he wasn't able to do anything that could have prevented his best friend and rival from being captured or been able to find and rescue him and the others. Blue and Jade just looked relieved while Yellow was crying about something. He didn't know or really care since when it came to Red she was always worrying and crying. "Jeez, even when he's out cold he makes Yellow cry. The idiot has a lot to answer for," Green sighed.
In truth the three brothers and the ancient aura guardian had been gone only three days but still, it scared the others about where they were. Green was snapped out of his musings when Amber and Aaron started to walk off to put Red in a bed and to get some rest themselves. Before Aaron left though with Red still in his arms, Green could have sworn that he heard the man thank him and the others for putting up with Red all these years and that he hopes he can hear about their adventures. But it was said so softly that they almost didn't hear it at all.
Team Rocket Hideout
Giovanni sat inside the hideout or at left what was left of the hideout after Red, his brothers and that man managed to escape. Apparently the eldest brother easily defeated Sabrina and Koga was knocked over by the hyperactive and youngest of the brothers. Surge didn't see them from his location but he did find the other two not too long after they were defeated. Giovanni was angry. No, scratch that he was furious. He had finally gotten Red within his grasp but was still unable to control the boy. Even though he was probably in his weakest state, the boy just wouldn't join Team Rocket. The Team Rocket boss thought back to the fight with the man that Red seemed to care an awful lot about.
Flashback
The man standing in front of Giovanni looked like an ancient warrior. "You must be the leader of this organization." he stated without any fear in his voice.
"Yes and you are a complete mystery as to why Red would want risk his life to help you. I don't know who you are or your relation to Red but I'm letting the boy go now that he's here," sneered Giovanni.
Anger started to course its way into man's features as his fists glowed with his energy now being a bright royal blue. "Stand aside," he said with force, "Red has no business with you if what I've been told is true. As for why Red sees me as such an important person in his life, you may want to learn some history on us Aura Guardians. Also seeing as I taught him, he is still my pupil and my descendant thus making him my responsibility. Now I say once again. Stand aside."
End Flashback
Aura Guardians sounded familiar. Then he remembered that exhibit that Red had visited when he first left Mt. Silver to return home. The look Red had as he looked at all the objects, they looked like the ones back at the castle during the time of the tournament. The ones at the museum must be replicas then. Then an image flashed in Giovanni's mind. It was a tapestry of a man who was riding a Pidgeot and a Lucario by his side. That's when he realized that this man was from the past and that Red somehow knew him more closely than just from history. "Did Red somehow go back it time or did that man come forward to this time there's no way that could have happened, could it?" he asked to himself.
Unknown locations
A man dress in an almost all white hoody with gold like embroidery and green diamond shapes on the sleeves, with a dark grey shirt on underneath sat in a dark room only lit by the torches around on the walls. He was looking at some old documents and the other preparations for the future tasks at hand. That is until the door opened to reveal the Marina, Blaise, and Raina. His Red eyes gleamed as the Kanto team came into the room. "What do you have to report?" he asked in a bored tone, already knowing that they were defeated by the targets that they were only meant to watch for.
"As you suspected sir, the targets are much stronger now than they were before and the second eldest has brought three more people into using aura. They are planning to head to one of the other regions soon but we could not find out where they were heading," reported Blaise. "However the Pokémon Mew is with the boy and will more than likely continue journeying with him. Also it would appear that there is another organization after the boy but they do not know of his true power. They just with to use him as a weapon seeing as he is naturally stronger than most trainers." The Man sitting appeared to be in thought as he closed his eyes.
"Tell the others to watch the target from a distance. No one is to make contact with him or his group until the time is right. As for Team Rocket," he grew a twisted grin, "Let them try to capture the boy, it will only end in failure but it is such amusement to see them struggle to claim the un-claimable." And with that the three women left the room leaving their leader alone once again. A cackle echoed through the hallways.
Cameran Castle
Aaron had woken up early to explore the once familiar ground of the castle. He found that practically everything was still the same as if he had never left. However he knew that wasn't true since the people surrounding the castle and that lived in the castle were different than those from his time. Everyone was nice and worked with Pokémon to better their lives and seemed to be at peace. This was so different from what he had woken up to for the first time back at Team Rocket's base. Now he was walking down a hallway to one of the room. When he got to the door he knocked softly on it. When no reply happened he slowly opened the door to reveal a bedroom and still sound asleep in the bed to the left of the door was Red.
Aaron closed the door behind him and pulled one of the chairs over to sit beside the bed. Without even thinking, Aaron started to rake his hand through the teenager's hair. When Red gave a content sigh and curled more into the bed, Aaron gave a light chuckle at the young boy's antics but continued as he was before.
When Red finally woke up he was still a little dazed. He opened his eyes slowly to see Sir Aaron calmly patting his head. Sluggishly ha said, "G'mornin." Aaron smiled at Red and helped him sit up.
"You know, you have a lot to explain to me now right? And we have a lot to catch up on." Aaron said.
After a while, Red had managed to explain most of his adventures. Even the time that he was frozen in an ice shell and how Yellow and the others had come to save him and fight only for Giovanni to be the one to free him from his cold prison. He told Aaron about all his fights against Team Rocket on every possible occasion and how he had his own student in a way and how he and Gold trained on Mt. Silver for a year before the kid went and claimed the title of Johto Champion while he was the Kanto Champion. With everyone back together again, everyday they would continue their training and the four Kanto Dex holders talked about their plans to get to Unova. They spent their time like this for the two months before they had to leave. By that time the four were getting ready to head out. Sir Aaron was sticking around the Castle with Red's family. Amber and Jade were going to help them from there as well while Riley said he was going to go and travel again to get stronger. The four left for the port that would take them to Unova and then they could start their new journey and help with whatever the new issue is. Hopefully they won't run into Team Rocket again or the Shadow Myths.
To Be Continued…
Trainer: Look I'm sorry that this is a very short chapter and all but it I started to go into the next adventure then it wouldn't feel right to me.
Spirit: True but you left it at a cliff hanger with the "To Be Continued…" that they always use in the Pokémon TV show.
Trainer: Honestly I just really wanted to say that line at least once.
Spirit: Quick write the next chapter so I can read it!
Trainer: I'm not a machine! Also I think I'm going to start writing a new story since I keep getting writers block with just one story all the time. So look forward to that. See you all next time! XD
