I was wondering the halls of the ministry hoping I was going to stumble upon Draco's office. Also, because I was dreading this meeting. I finally found the door marked D. Malfoy and opened the door so slowly that it creaked. Draco was inside sitting behind his desk looking understandably upset.

"What took you so long," he asked as he gestured towards the chair opposite his desk.

"I've never been to your office before. It took me a while to find it."

Draco leaned back in his chair and asked, "Why did you do it?"

I thought for a second before answering. "I don't know. I guess I thought I could get away with it. I thought no one would ever find out or have to know."

"Well you were terribly, terribly mistaken."

"I know. I know. The last thing I wanted to do was hurt you."

"You think I'm hurt? You think this hurt me? Vic you are self centered. If anything this embarrassed me. We are supposed to be getting married and you off frolicking around with someone other guy without any thought to how it would look or affect us."

"Is it going to affect us?"

He took in a deep breath and said, "If I had my way it would. But my father is adamant that we go throw with this. Since your father was able to keep the prophet from printing anything you're safe. But if you are to pull anything like this again, I will either find a way out of marrying you or make life very hard for you."

"Draco, you don't have to worry about anything like this happening again."

"I know. You are never to see him again, Victorine. No contact. Nothing."

"You don't trust me? We're not even married yet and you're already trying to control me."

"Well you haven't proved yourself to be very trustworthy up to this point, Vic."

"Well it doesn't look like either of us have a choice. You can't get out of this and apparently I have to do what you say."

"I'll see you on Saturday at the engagement party, Vic."

With that, I got up from my seat and walked towards the door. Before I could get there Draco said,

"Oh, and Vic, try to look happy."
