From the previous chapter:

He waved goodbye as he walked out of the room and to the school. He walked in the classroom and sat down at his desk and pulled out his notebook. Everyone looked at him strangely and didn't speak to him at all, not even to bully him.

Present chapter:

During lunch Tsuna sat alone at him desk, staring out the window until the door slid open. "Is Sawada here?" Mochida asked.

A couple girls at the front of the classroom turned to look at him, and pointed at him. "He's over there." One of the girls said.

Tsuna looked up at him with dull eyes and an almost exhausted expression. "Can I talk to you for a second?" Mochida asked.

Tsuna nodded slowly and got up from his seat with a squeak. Some of his bullies smirked and started following them until Mochida held up his hand and shook his head. They gave him a confused look before heading back to their seats. They closed the door and stood at the window across the hall. "How are your friends?" Mochida asked, looking at the cherry blossom trees.

"They're all going to be okay." Tsuna replied.

"Then why are you all mopey and expressionless?" Mochida asked.

"It's because of this stupid curse!" Tsuna hissed, "I can easily kill anyone! My mother, my friends, my family!"

"It's not like you would actually do that." Mochida laughed.

Tsuna looked down at the ground. "No." Mochida said, "Are you telling me you actually killed someone?"

"I didn't mean to! I swear! It was an accident! I was screaming in my head to stop, but my body wouldn't listen!" Tsuna said, frantically before looking down at the ground again, "I'm a complete beast, a- a monster."

"I don't think you did it on purpose." Mochida said, making Tsuna snap his head up to look at him. "Sawada, you're just a little kid that got mixed into some deep shit. Despite what me and my 'friends' did to you in the past, you didn't come after us with your new power and strength."

"Oh, hey Dame Tsuna, you cleaning up after school today right. You know because you lost the baseball game for your class yesterday." Osamaru laughed.

"No actually I'll be going to the hospital straight after school." Tsuna said with a slight glare.

"Oh really but what does your class have to say about that?" Osamaru asked.

"Leave him alone, Osamaru." Mochida said.

"I don't care what they have to say." Tsuna said, "I'll do what I have to, to make sure my friends are okay."

"Oh, your idiot friends who were stupid enough to get hurt yesterday, when we were supposed to stay in our classrooms. Well give them a piece of advice from me, if they don't want to be hurt then one: stay away from you and two: kill yourselves." He said with a smirk.

Suddenly he was lifted off his feet and slammed into the window. "If you ever say anything like that again I will rip your throat out. You can insult me, but if you so much as think like that I will kill you." Tsuna hissed dropping him to the ground.

He jumped and scurried away as fast as he could into his classroom down the hall. "Uh, Sawada." Mochida said, "Your eyes are red."

"Shit!" Tsuna yelled.

He blinked a couple times and looked over at Mochida. "How is it now?" Tsuna asked.

"Uh, fine." Mochida said.

"What's wrong?" Tsuna asked.

"You never swear." Mochida replied.

"Well, there's a lot of things that I do that you don't know off." Tsuna said.

"Oh, yeah name one." Mochida challenged.

"Well, I go on dates with…." Tsuna trailed off looking behind Mochida.

"Dame Tsuna." Reborn said.

"Excuse me for a second." Tsuna said, walking past him.

"But I want to know!" Mochida said.

"Why are you here Reborn?" Tsuna asked.

"Were you planning to go to the hospital after school?" Reborn asked.

"Yeah, why?" Tsuna asked.

"I need to discuss everything about the meeting with Nono with the tenth generation." Reborn replied.

"Okay." Tsuna said, nodding.

Reborn disappeared from sight and Tsuna walked back over to Mochida. "Now tell me the rest of that sentence." Mochida said.

"Oh, right. I go on dates with." Tsuna started, suddenly getting cut off by the lunch bell.

"Oh, come on!" Mochida yelled.

"I'll tell you later!" Tsuna laughed, walking back into his classroom.

Soon the final bell rang, and Tsuna ran out of the school and into the courtyard. He ran past a dark alley where he was suddenly pulled in. "What the…" He started before feeling an exploding pain on the left side of his face.

He fell to the ground in a heap, and reached up to touch his jaw, definitely broken. He looked up and saw a bat that was now covered in his blood. "What do you want?" Tsuna asked, angrily.

"I just want you to pay for what you did at lunch." Osamaru said, "and as you can see I brought a couple of my friends with me."

"Seriously, all this because I made you piss your pants?" Tsuna asked, "I have places to be."

He pushed past him before he hit him in the back of the legs. Tsuna jumped up off the ground, causing everyone to back up. "Get him!" Osamaru yelled.

He jumped up on the fence and ran along the top with the others following him below. Osamaru threw the bat hitting him in the back, and knocking him into the alley beside that one. He fell and hit his face on the ground and sliced open his arm on the fence. "Ow!" He hissed, holding his bleeding arm.

"He's in the next alley over." He heard one of the boys yell from the other side of the wall.

He quickly spread his wings and flew up over the dead end. "Where did he go?" He heard Osamaru yell from below.

"Why is there a bunch of feathers?" One of the boys asked.

"They're just crow's feathers." Osamaru snapped, "We have to find Dame Tsuna before he tells anyone what happened."

They ran from the alley and across the street where they assumed he had gone. Tsuna let out a breath and flew towards the hospital and landed on the roof. He ran down the stairs and burst into room 127. "Sorry, I'm late." Tsuna said wiping his nose, then holding his arm.

"Tsuna, what happened?" Yamamoto asked.

"Bullies, the usual." Tsuna said shrugging his shoulders.

"The usual?" Yamamoto asked with concern.

"Where's Reborn?" Tsuna asked changing the subject.

"Right here. Sit down Dame Tsuna." Reborn said handing on Gokudera's bed.

"What's up kid?" Yamamoto asked with a smile.

"The Tenth generation Vongola inheritance ceremony is being held early." Reborn said.

"What?!" Tsuna yelled.

"Nono is getting sick, and we don't know he'll pull through. There is a very strong possibility that he could live or die. So he wants you to take the title now." Reborn said.

"We're still in middle school Reborn!" Tsuna said, "If it was high school that's a different story. But middle school, that's different."

"I understand your concern but you have to understand that there isn't anyone but you who can take this position." Reborn argued.

"I need to talk to Nono." Tsuna said.

"Fine, I'll get you on the phone with him." Reborn said.

"In person." Tsuna said.

Reborn looked at him with a glare, which turned into a smirk. "Fine, I'll have them send a jet over for you and your guardians."

"I'll give a week to get better." Reborn said to Yamamoto, Gokudera, and Ryohei.

"Extreme!" Ryohei yelled.

"You can count on it." Yamamoto laughed.

"Yes, Reborn sama!" Gokudera said.

"Oh, there's one more thing." Reborn said.

"What?" Tsuna asked.

"Someone escaped from the Vongola dungeons." Reborn said.

"We have dungeons?!" Tsuna yelled.

"Yes, but this prisoner is particularly suspicious to me. He's been locked up for 50 years but still had the strength to break through the walls and defenses." Reborn replied, "A lot of the casualties suffered from the breakout were from blood loss. It was almost as if an animal attacked them."

"How so?" Tsuna asked, slightly dazed and afraid for the answer.

"He always went for the neck." Reborn replied.

Tsuna gasped and fell back in his chair. 'What the hell?' He thought, 'Is that what got me that night?'

"Did Nono tell you anything about the prisoner?" Gokudera asked.

"Not much just that he was put in the dungeon because he was killing a bunch of people in the village that the Vongola mansion is in." Reborn replied, "He killed like an animal, always going for the neck or major blood arteries."

"Like a vampire or something." Yamamoto said almost seriously, "But vampires don't exist."

"On the contrary, a lot of make believe creatures like vampires are in the dungeons at Vongola. They've been there for years." Reborn said.

"You've got to be kidding me." Tsuna sighed, "I'm going home, I'll see you guys tomorrow."

He walked out the door and out of the hospital towards the house. "What will I do if Nono notices?" Tsuna whispered to himself.

"So how was the hospital visit?" Mochida asked.

"Okay I guess, I'm flying to Italy at the end of the week though." Tsuna said.

"Italy?!" Mochida asked.

"And you're coming with me." Tsuna said.

"What!? I can't afford a plane ticket." Mochida argued.

"Don't worry I got you covered." Tsuna replied, "because you have me covered."

"The more you say that the more I worry." Mochida said.

"Speaking of which, I need some." Tsuna said, holding his throat that went suddenly dry.

"What!? Right now?" Mochida asked, "No!"

"Please! You promised to be my blood bank." Tsuna whined, his vision getting dizzy and blurry.

"Don't say it like that!" Mochida said, "You know I'm seriously reconsidering being your 'partner'."

Suddenly Tsuna fell to the ground beside him. "Oh shit! Maybe I should have just let you bite me." Mochida sweatdropped.

He picked him up and brought him to the bench on the side of the road. He laid him down with his head by his face. He quickly brought out a Swiss army knife and made a small cut in his arm, bringing it to the brunette's lips. "Come on, Sawada." Mochida said.

Finally he felt a lick to the cut and he breathed out in relief. "You okay?" He asked.

"Uh, huh." Tsuna said, drinking from the wound.

"You know you're surprisingly light." Mochida said.

"I know." Tsuna said, "Since I can't eat any regular food without getting sick, I'm losing weight like ridiculously fast."

"So why are you going to Italy?" Mochida asked, "I mean why are we going to Italy?"

"I have to talk to my grandfather about the family business that I'm inheriting." Tsuna said.

"What business is that?" Mochida asked.

"Vongola enterprises." Tsuna replied.

"Vongola enterprises!?" Mochida asked, "Isn't that like the richest company in the world?"

"Yeah, but that's just a front." Tsuna replied.

"A front for what?" Mochida asked.

"Mafia."
