Thank you all SO much for your support, after all this time and you all are still interested! I cannot explain how much this means to me! :) YES! Our babies will finally be reunited this sunday and I BETTER see a hug, a smooch, and Daryl crying (in a good way of course/AKA: rejoicing to see Carol)! Ok, I'm going to be honest, I've mentioned it before, I am not a fan of the Woodbury scenes—I know that it is essential to the whole plot, yadda yadda yadda, but it just does not spark my interest. I much rather watch our prison group, and specifically our lovely duo. SO, WARNING: I skipped a lot of the Woodbury fight details, sorry if you're upset, hope the story still does justice! I put the essentials in this chapter and glossed over a lot. ALSO! I like Merle and I've read so many fanfics where he's both a good guy and an evil guy, just letting you know, I plan on making him a good guy in this story but that's not to say I won't kill him off at some point. Ok, please enjoy and let me know what you think!
Glen's entire body hurt. His head was pounding, it was hard to see out of his eyes, his jaw felt close to broken as it was hard for him to even keep it closed, his ribs were stinging, his wrists hurt from being tied down to the arms of the chair, even his ass hurt from sitting down. He didn't care that Merle Dixon's presence was hovering by him; he leaned forward so that the blood could come out of his mouth in a thick fluid motion—hoping that he wouldn't end up choking to death on his own blood.
"You're different then how I remember you from Atlanta, I'll give ya that. Got more fight in ya," Merle said, with a bit of admiration in his voice. "Now tell me, where is my brother?!" Merle yelled in agitation, leaning close to Glen. Seeing Merle so close to Glen caused Glen to act on instinct and bash his head as hard as he could into Merle's nose. Merle leapt back in agitation, cursing as he clutched his now broken nose.
"You think I wanna hurt ya?!" Merle spat at a now confused Glen. "Just tell me where I brother is. I need to see him." Glen wasn't sure how to react to this, he could see the desperation in Merle's voice, the need that he had to see his brother. Still Glen didn't say anything and just looked down, he didn't know where Maggie was, he didn't know where he was, if his people knew, or to trust Merle. Merle just cursed and took a few angry strides until he was out the door, slamming it shut behind him. He thought that he could hear Maggie crying somewhere but he wasn't sure. Everything hurt. He's never been through this kind of pain, never been beaten so severely. But the worst part was, he didn't know where Maggie was. He didn't know if Merle was taking turns beating both of them or doing worse to her. Glen couldn't think about that, whether his people were coming or not, he needed to break free and find Maggie and with that final thought, he saw black.
The car ride was silent except for when Michone told Rick which way to turn. Daryl was just reflecting on everything that has happened recently. Losing Carol, finding Carol, and leaving her again—but damnit, this was their family and they needed to rescue Glen and Maggie. At least he knew that Carol was safe. Finally, the car rolled to a stop, Rick wanted to park far away so that the people wouldn't spot them coming but close enough so that they could run back to the car if needed. Everybody had their game faces on as they made their way to Woodbury. As they all silently walked Daryl's mind drifted to Carol yet again. The Dixon's were never given second changes in life, and especially not in this life; and yet, he found Carol. He found her alive and safe and now she was probably swooning over the baby—the thought brought a smile to Daryl which caused him to quickly duck his head down so that nobody would notice. But boy did he hate Shane, he hoped that stupid fuck took a hint and stayed away from Carol. During their months on the road, Daryl will admit that he got jealous of Shane. Everything was so easy for the man, like Merle, and Daryl will admit that he had no game. He didn't know how to approach Carol in the same way as Shane did, but just because he felt insecure, that did not mean that he backed down. It's been a constant pissing contest between the two men since Shane began to show some interest in Carol. And who wouldn't? Carol was so pretty, her big beautiful blue could always tell you the answer, she was soft and yet she could be hard when needed be, she was smart, funny, and her hips do this thing whenever she's walks—
"I know what you did for me, for the baby, when I was…away. Thank you," Rick said to Daryl as they walked behind in the woods.
"It's what we do," Daryl shrugged back in response, a little irritable that Rick interrupted Daryl's chain of thought about Carol.
"I'm really happy she's back, Daryl. If I had known that there was even a possibility that she was still alive—"
"How could ya?" Daryl asked, not really feeling like talking about Carol being scared, close to death, in the tombs. If he had known…hell if Daryl had known too. But he just didn't, nobody did.
"Well I'm happy all the same. She and Judith, they symbolize hope," Rick finished causing Daryl to snort at the name, thinking that they should've sticked with Lil' Asskicker.
"They do," was all that Daryl could say before he smelt the familiar smell of rotting flesh.
"Psst!" Daryl spat to get the attention of Michone and Oscar who were up in the front. Daryl swiftly took out the closest ones to him as silently as he could.
"There's too many of them, we gotta go!" Rick said hastily. They made their way through the woods, followed by many walkers, and ran into what appeared to be an abandoned house. The inside was dark, closed off, shit was scattered everywhere and Daryl shined his light on what appeared to be a decaying dog.
"Ugh, what's that stank? It's loud!" Daryl said in disgust, watching as Rick made his way to the bed in the corner where it looked like there was heap under the sheets. Rick carefully went to pull it back when a man sprung out having his shot gun trained on Rick. Daryl immediately had his buck knife out and over his head, ready to kill if this guy tried Rick. The man was bat-shit crazy. Sputtering out nonsense about calling the cops, non-stop yelling, attracting walkers. He made a run for it and Michone ended him by putting her katana through the man's heart. Well damn.
"We need to go, Daryl, check the back," Rick said while getting ready to move the man's body out through the front door to distract the walkers, Oscar looked completely disgusted. They all sprinted their way out the back after the hermit's body was disposed in the front. It was night by the time they made it to the entrance of Woodbury, everybody was panting due to exhaustion of running away from walkers and killing them on the way. They took point behind an overturned car, Daryl made sure to scope out the guards on the front gate, this was the plan: find then rescue Maggie and Glen, then go home to Carol, and confess his feelings towards her. He tried to ignore his gut feeling that things wouldn't go as smoothly as he planned.
"Talked to that girl, she didn't give in. Strong group," The Governor said while pacing back and forth in front of Merle, Martinez, and Milton.
"What did you do to her?" Milton asked shakily. The Governor just turned around and laughed at nothing in particular then continued on his pacing.
"Merle this is a mess! The group was with Andrea—they know Andrea and Andrea knows them and if she sees them? Or if their group comes looking for their group? You shouldn't have brought them here," The Governor snapped at Merle.
"They knew my brother. Said that they were still with him, he's alive out there somewhere—"
"So that's what this is all about then? Your need to find your brother? Did you plan this?" The Governor spat.
"No sir—" Merle readily said.
"Makes me wonder…..whose side are you on? Push comes to shove, your brother's group comes, looking for a fight," The Governor said while gradually lowering his voice and moving closer to Merle. Only Merle didn't back down, he could play games, but he would never betray his brother; blood always came first.
"We need you with us, Merle," The Governor said softly while placing a hand on Merle's stump. "Whose side are you on?" He repeated.
"Yours." Was all that Merle could manage before he walked out the door. Wouldn't be the first time he fucked up, wouldn't be the last. But he knew the Governor's character, he was dangerous and he couldn't let him get to his brother before he did.
"Carooooool…CCAARROOLL!" The screams of Shane were clearly heard distinctly throughout the prison. Everybody looked up with a sigh at Shane's constant raging. They were all downstairs talking about what they should do to the group that Carl just found and who now occupied the kitchen area. With one final sigh, Carol got up from where she was sitting.
"Daryl will be mad," Beth scolded. Carol just laughed and shook her head. Carol made her way upstairs to where Shane was non-stop calling for her.
"Finally darlin'! How much has a man gotta scream and beg before he can get his girl to come?" Shane asked suggestively. Carol just rolled her eyes and approached the locked cell door, feeling a slight smile tug at her mouth thinking about Daryl always being protective even when he isn't there.
"What do you want, Shane?" Carol said in an exasperated tone.
"I just want to talk. After everything that's happened, I could use a friend," Shane said in a sincere tone. Shane pressed his body closer to the cell door, making it so that his hands were on the outside of cell door reaching his hands out to grasp Carol's shoulders.
"Shane—" Carol started before being interrupted by Axel making his way upstairs.
"Beth sent me up with some food, thinking that maybe Shane was hungry…Oh! Sorry! Didn't mean to interrupt nothin'!" Axel said when he finally looked up from the bowl of ramen he had in his hand. Carol quickly stepped back and Shane just snarled at Axel's approaching figure, he shakily placed the bowl of food in his hand.
"Honest mister, didn't mean nothin' by it. Didn't even know 'bout Carol," Axel sputtered.
"Whatcha mean, man?" Shane snapped at Axel.
"Well….uh…you've ugh, aren't you a lesbian?" Axel asked Carol.
"What?" Carol asked in bewilderment. "I'm not a lesbian," Carol said at a cross between laughing and being offended.
"But you've got the short hair?" Axel went on, only causing Carol to raise her eye brows in response. "You're not a lesbian?" Axel asked, Carol shook her head in response. "My, my, well this is interesting," Axel smirked while leaning against Shane's door, apparently forgetting that he was there.
"Hey! Ya dumb fuck! Carol's had a husband and a little girl, she ain't no lesbo! And it don't concern ya none anyway!" Shane yelled to Axel causing him to jump. Carol guessed that Shane just said this to defend her but the truth was that it hurt that he brought up her past life. With a final small smile, Carol made her way downstairs and out towards the guard tower to keep watch. She felt like being alone until her family got home, until Daryl got home.
Thing's definitely were not going as planned. Chaos. Pure insane chaos. Daryl was panicking, he felt as though he was close to hyperventilating. They successfully rescued Glen and Maggie, then they were being shot at. Daryl used Carol's gun, he wouldn't let her come on this mission but he would still bring something of her with him. He told everyone to go on ahead, he'd cover them. He really wasn't trying to play hero and if he knew that he was about to get ambushed then he wouldn't of have stayed behind either. But he was pissed, so many unknown emotions have filtered through his body these past couple of days. But he now channeled his anger toward the Governor and Woodbury, they were a threat and Daryl wanted to make sure that before he returned to Carol, that he helped to eliminate the threat at all costs. He wanted to eliminate the threat that could come back and hurt Carol. Only, nothing can ever go right for a Dixon, especially Daryl.
He now heard a booming voice and crowds cheering, yelling out nonsense about fighting to the death. He couldn't breathe properly let alone hear properly. What really got him was seeing Merle; after all this time he didn't know what happened to Merle. How he was, where he was, well right now, he kind of wished that he found out a different way. Daryl was panting and close to crying, he had just found Carol! This could not be happening now! Next thing he knew, he and his brother were fighting each other before jumping back to their protective stance at each other's backs and fighting any nearby walkers which were being walked by the Woodbury men. Yeah, he wanted the Governor dead.
Shots suddenly rang out, lights were being shot out, smoke flares were thrown in the middle, people were yelling, crying, running and people were dropping like the flies. Suddenly, the chaos multiplied. Daryl knew it was Rick who came back for them.
"Merle! Come on!" Daryl panted while grabbing ahold of his brother's shirt, pulling him onward. Daryl saw a big guy aiming his crossbow at someone and quickly snatched it out of his hands and turned back to see that Merle knocked the guy out. After meeting up with Rick and Maggie they made their outside of Woodbury, fury was pumping through his veins, that sick freak wanted him and his brother to beat each other to death! He'd get him.
When they made their way outside of Woodbury Rick turned and yelled at Merle, "You are NOT coming back with us!"
"You really wanna fight about this now?!" Merle retaliated.
"Come on! Let's go!" Daryl said trying to snap everybody's attention back to where it needs to be. They've been walking for miles when Daryl, Merle, Rick, and Maggie finally made it back to Michone and Glen. Daryl quickly noticed that Michone was injured but those thoughts soon left his mind when she raised her sword to Merle; along with Glen raising his gun at Merle and Maggie quickly ran to Glen's side and she too raised her gun at Merle.
"HEY HEY HEY! Put it down!" Daryl yelled at everybody who had their weapons raised to Merle. Merle was just laughing behind Daryl, leaning against a tree, this only infuriated Daryl even more. Asshole never made things easy for him.
"He tried to kill me!" Michone yelled at Rick.
"Do you know what he did to Maggie?" Glen also yelled to everyone.
"We CAN'T do this right now!" Rick yelled at the trio who had their weapons raised.
"Ohh man, what do we got here? Look at'cha officer friendly! Got yourself a pussy group!" Merle mockingly laughed.
"Merle, shut up!" Daryl yelled at him, turning around to see that Glen's gun was yet again raised.
"MAN, GET THAT THING OUT OF MY FACE!" Daryl yelled, feeling his resolve being pulled tighter and tighter.
"Oh man, going native brotha!" Merle laughed approvingly.
"No more then you hanging around with that pyscho back there!" Daryl yelled back.
"Governor's got your girlfriend all cozy back there," Merle said to Michone.
"You know Andrea?" Both Maggie and Rick simultaneously asked. Michone said nothing except for glare at Merle.
"Oh yeah she knows her, but the Governor's been putting his wood in her real good, mmhhmmm. Reckon that's why he wanted to keep ya'll a secret," Merle said, motioning towards Maggie and Glen.
"Andrea, she gave me a map of where ya'll were held up at the farm, I wanted to go look for ya, Governor told me to wait some, then I found ya'll. At the time, I felt as though I was finally gonna get answers about my brother." Merle said sheepishly. Everybody grew silent and lowered their weapons at Merle's admittance.
"Alright, let's go talk about all this," Rick said while everyone made to follow.
"Not you," Rick said to Merle, "or you," he said to Michone. Merle just accepted this with a snort while Michone honestly looked a little hurt.
"I don't want him back with us," Glen said once they were all out of earshot of Merle and Michone. Merle was pissing in plain view, luckily his back was facing them, whereas Michone opted to lean against the car for support.
"You wont have him but you'll bring the last samurai back with us?" Daryl shaped back.
"She's not coming with us—" Rick started.
"She's not fit to be on her own, at least let daddy stitch her up," Maggie said.
"We don't know her," Rick said.
"Tha's right, we don't. But Merle, Merle's blood." Daryl stated.
"No, Merle is your blood! My blood, my family is standing right here in front of me," Glen snapped back.
"And you're part of that family, Daryl," Rick reassuringly said. Daryl fixed them all with a hard stare. "All Merle wanted was to find out what happened to me," but nobody said anything.
"Do you really want him sleeping in the same cell block as Carol or Beth?" Glen shot out. Daryl's blood boiled.
"He ain't a rapist!" Daryl snarled. What Glen implied was cruel, it was cruel to think of Carol in that situation but the idea that his own brother would hurt Carol? That was more then he could handle, plus Beth was just a kid, no way in hell would Merle ever stoop that low.
"Fine. We'll fend for ourselves." Daryl said angrily. How could this be happening?! What about his plan? Stupid fucking Rick sometimes.
"Daryl!" everybody said at the same time.
"You can't leave," Rick said sternly. "We need you."
"Well, I can't leave me brother. Again. I just can't." Daryl sadly said, he knew what this meant but he really couldn't leave Merle behind all by himself. At least he knew that Carol was safe and alive and well. She's strong, she'll make it, Daryl had to believe that she would.
"Fine!" Rick said causing Maggie to look relieved but Glen was still angry that Merle would be living with them. Daryl couldn't say that he wasn't relieved himself. He felt as though a weight had been taken off his chest, his brother would finally be with him at his home.
Daryl called Merle as Rick called Michone over as he told them the plans. Everybody seemed relatively at ease, luckily the car had three rows in it so nobody was squished. Rick drove while Michone rode shotgun, Daryl and Merle rode in the middle while Glen and Maggie were curled up together in the back. It was weird not having Oscar in the car ride back with them and Daryl felt sorry for the guy, he was a good guy as far as Daryl knew and he didn't even want to go with them in the first place. To say that Merle was pleased was an understatement, Daryl noticed a definite change in his brother's attitude. Though he was still obnoxious, he wasn't as crudely obnoxious.
"So little brotha, ya got yourself a piece back at this fine prison of yours?" Merle asked while nudging Daryl's side.
"Shut up Merle," Daryl responded back, nobody said anything and for that he was grateful. Not like he and Carol were an official thing or anything anyways. Damnit, Daryl cursed, he didn't even know what to call him and Carol, they were just, them.
"Oooooh you do! Dontcha? Well now, I can't wait to introduce myself nice and proper," Merle joked.
"Merle, stop, ain't nothin' goin' on," Daryl pleaded. He didn't want Merle near Carol at all. He knew that his brother would never hurt a woman, but he didn't want him near Carol because Merle had a way with ladies, he was experienced, whereas, Daryl wasn't.
"Oh well then, if it ain't nothin' then you don't mind old Merle showing her what a real man is like?" Merle rebutted.
"I swear to God Merle! Don't you dare even try!" Daryl said without realizing it. Oh shit.
"Ha! I knew it! Who's the dumb lady Daryl?" Daryl just rolled his eyes and put his head against the window, he wasn't going to add fuel to the fire or accidentally say something else to Merle that he would regret, so he settled with closing his eyes and forcing himself to sleep; last thoughts about Carol, seeing her happy, proud of him that he made it back alive with everyone. Daryl's last thoughts always seemed to be about Carol these days.
Carol and Axel were working together to help the fortifications of the prison. Shane was almost always asleep and when he wasn't he was either eating or talking nonsense. The man was slowly and literally going crazy and it was worrying Carol. She was scared not only for herself but for her entire family. She honestly didn't mind being with Axel, he was funny and kind, although he proved to be an idiot sometimes. And frankly, she rather spend her time with Axel and have Axel openly interested in her instead of Beth. She would not allow that to happen, although she knew that Axel didn't mean too much harm, but sometimes helpless horny men do stupid things.
"Truth is, I don't even know how to use this thing," Axel said, waving his gun around. Carol faked fear as she took a leap back causing Axel to laugh and quickly shove the gun in the waist band of his pants.
"Didn't mean nothin' by it, ma'am, safety wasn't even off—I think," Axel said to Carol.
"Letme see," Carol said gesturing to Axel gun.
"This is the safety button, swipe it this way to turn it on, and this way to turn it off. This is your clip, make sure it's loaded. Let's hope that it stays that way," Carol effectively finished.
"Why, you're quite the lady," Axel said admiringly. This caused Carol to blush and giggle. She wasn't used to being complimented, it felt nice as a woman to be appreciated by a man.
"So you're not with Shane?" Axel continued.
"No," Carol said with a laugh.
"Good, 'cause no offense, but the man's crazy," Axel said. Carol wasn't sure if he realized how right he was. Either way, Carol decided not to answer, instead they continued on with securing the prison. She hoped that Daryl and everybody else would come back. It was already nearing an end to the next day—although they never said a specific time limit, being gone for almost two days didn't settle well in Carol's stomach.
Daryl awoke with a jostle and when he opened his eyes he never thought that he'd be so relieved to see the entrance of the prison—still intact at that. Carl and Maggie were near the entrance and opened the gate for them. Daryl was beginning to get anxious, scanning the yard for Carol. Once he stepped out of the car he looked up and saw that she and that dumbasss with the mustache were up at the top level putting up pallets of woods. He was immediately relieved that she was gaining her strength back and that she was able to help. Daryl wasn't sure if Carol saw him personally or the car that just came through the prison, but she ran down either way. Daryl couldn't help the smile that was forming. He turned to see that Rick had ordered Merle and Michone to stay in the car while he briefly explained the situation to everyone who was making their way out in the courtyard. Daryl walked off to the side a bit to meet Carol who was running towards him with a smile on her face, she practically looked like she was glowing. She was so beautiful, Daryl even chanced it and glanced down at her breasts which were bouncing as she ran. Damnit Daryl, stop! This is Carol! Daryl mentally scolded himself for having such impure thoughts about his best friend but he found that he really could not help himself lately.
"You're back!" Carol exclaimed, placing a hand on his arm while Daryl in return held her arm in place by holding onto her elbow. This touch was a new one from Daryl but Carol cherished all together anyway.
"Told ya I would be, woman" Daryl said in a teasing didn't know if it was subconscious act or not, but Carol gave Daryl's shoulder a firm squeeze before she started rub her nails around his shoulder and arm in a circular motion. Daryl shuddered and felt his knees begin to grow weak, did she know the effect that she was having on him? Daryl simply looked at Carol, watched as she was watching the prison court yard, looking at everyone, smile still set on her pretty face. Damn Dixon.
"Where's Oscar?" she suddenly asked. Daryl didn't know when it started but he too was rubbing circles around Carol's inner arm with his thumb. Daryl just shook his head 'no' in response, still unable to steer his gaze away from Carol's face. Only this time, she too looked him straight in the eye. Bright blue meeting steel blue. Daryl chanced it and took a step closer to Carol, not really having a particular goal in mind except to just be closer to Carol. He was still so relieved that she was alive and standing here with him. As they continued to stare at each other, Daryl wondered if Carol could sense the change of atmosphere that was shifting between them. Something was growing and Daryl could feel it between he and Carol, they were moving beyond simple friendship and it almost scared Daryl how much he wanted it.
"I was wondering where ya ran off to!" Axel said as he approached he and Carol. Daryl was glaring at the man, what business was it of Axel's about Carol's whereabouts?
"Hey man! Glad to see ya back! Did'ja know that she ain't a lesbian?" Axel said all too happily.
"Axel!" Carol scolded the man.
"The hell you just say?" Daryl spat, moving closer to the idiot narrowing his eyes.
"Well I mean, I thought she and Shane were together, ya know? When I saw them together—"
"Carol, what's he talkin' 'bout?" Daryl snapped at Carol, he didn't mean to snap at her, but what the fuck was this man talking about Carol and Shane being together?! He wanted answers! But once Carol opened her mouth to speak, Axel beat her to it.
"Earlier today, the man was yelling her name non-stop, tryin' to get her attention. The crazy man don't know that Carol's a lady though," Axel said while nudging Carol's side with his elbow. What. The. Fuck. Was. Going. On? "So anyway, Carol finally goes up to see what he's yelling about because all his yelling is making the baby cry and all—"
"Carol, you ok? The baby ok? What's he talking 'bout?" Daryl asked Carol, keeping his tone in check. Merle was watching right behind Daryl and nobody even realized, hell, half the group was already filtering in the prison already. Merle's been watching his brother as soon as he got out of the car, he noticed how his little brother's face lit up as soon as that woman came running towards him, saw how gentle he was with the woman, and saw how his eyes never drifted from her. Damn, he didn't think the woman OR Daryl knew how bad Daryl had it for this woman. Poor guy, Merle thought, he should really give him some pointers. If they were sleeping together then he knew they would do more then just timid touches to the arm. Merle chuckled as he made his presence known, it would be fun to mess with his little brother.
"BABY?! Damn boy! You pounce quick! Ain't you had yourself a fatass husband and a kid too?" Merle suddenly exclaimed out of no where with a laugh. Daryl's hands began to shake, he didn't know who to punch first, Axel or Merle. Merle was such a fucking idiot and it pissed Daryl off to no end.
"Merle! Ya stupid son of a bitch! Shut your fucking mouth!" Daryl yelled while pushing Merle back from when he was openly checking out Carol.
"So this your little mouse then, huh? Not bad little bro, not bad at all. She's changed that's for sure," Merle said with a charming smile towards Carol.
"Merle," Carol said facing him, "The baby is Rick's. Yes, I had a husband and daughter when I last saw you at the quarry; and you also had a right hand last time I saw you." Carol said with no menace in her voice, although everyone grew silent. Merle's smirk was still planted on his face, while Axel looked both shocked and confused, and Daryl was just staring at Carol with wide eyes and in an all new light. He'd admit it to anyone who asked, he was turned on by the fact that Carol was standing up to his douchebag brother.
"My husband was an asshole who beat me and he got eaten by walkers, he got what he deserved. And my daughter…We were out on the roads one day, got trapped, a heard came, she got separated, got bit; I saw my baby as a walker come at all of us wanting to eat us and Rick put her down. That's something that she didn't deserve. Anything else?" Carol said this all with complete grace and a level tone as she looked Merle up and down in disgust. Carol looked at Daryl one last time before making her way into the prison. Daryl snarled at Merle and ended up punching him really hard on the chest, right where his heart was. Merle was still recovering from shock about the whole situation and didn't see Daryl coming at him.
"Asshole," Daryl spat at Merle before running to catch up with Carol. Merle was still trying to catch his breath, damn did his brother grow a pair of balls, Merle could've sworn that his heart skipped a few beats. Merle glanced at Axel who looking at where Carol and Daryl disappeared into the prison.
"I'd stay clear of Carol if I were you," Merle said to Axel while still rubbing his throbbing chest. Merle would always put Daryl above all and he could see that this woman has Daryl's eyes now. He wouldn't mess around with Carol because he didn't want to face the wrath of his brother, but that didn't mean that he wouldn't have some fun every now and then.
"Whatcha mean?" Axel asked Merle, looking a little uneasy. Merle couldn't believe how slow this man was. Although Merle decided that he wouldn't mess with Daryl and his girl, it didn't mean that he wouldn't enjoy watching his brother getting all jealous over this idiot.
"No reason," Merle said with a smile as he too made his way into the prison where he saw his brother go. Being at the prison was not like how he planned it would happen, but this was better. Way better.
