Chapter 10- Am I right or wrong about this?

I am sorry it took so long to write this chapter. I have been very busy with school, and family stuff. But I hope you enjoy!

Amy P.O.V

When I saw my oh so beloved Uncle Eragon come in my direction, and Uncle Murtagh go towards Durza, I pulled my hood back up, over my face even though I knew it wouldn't help me in this situation. I tried to get up again before he got to me, but when I was up on my feet, an extreme dizzy spell overcame me and I fell back down with a *thud*. Everything blurred for a second after I hit the ground. After blinking away the blurriness, I saw he was standing a few feet in front of me, looking at me with the same confusion Jasper had mere moments ago. I started wondering why I couldn't stand so I looked in my mind and realized Jasper was still there, looking through my thoughts and memories, noticing the emptiness in my mind, and I felt his confusion. Without thinking I chose to try and use magic to try and separate Jasper, and Durza before anyone got hurt, which caused Jasper to seem more confused.

Just as he got more confused Durza saw an opening, and took it. He brought one of the blades above his head, and brought it down just to have Murtagh block it with Zar'roc. From the surprise of what just happened, he lost hold of my mind and I managed to put my barriers back up before he realized what just happened. When I tried to use magic, I really had to focus to use it, and that made me worried. But I made a wall come rising up from the ground between Durza, Jasper, and Uncle Murtagh, and I put one right in front of Uncle Eragon, stopping him in his tracks, and I chose to box myself in so I could figure out what was happening and what I should do. But for some reason it used a lot of my energy, and I didn't know why, but I took energy from the plants around me and it helped for the most part, but my mind was still a little foggy and I heard a lot of thudding on the walls around me so that meant they were trying to break through the walls around me, and I heard yelling.

Suddenly there was a large crack right in front of me as I heard Uncle Eragon yell something, but I couldn't understand what. I made the earth seal up and without thinking I made a hole open up under me and I fell down into it and sealed it above me just in time for him to break through one of the walls.

"Where did she go?" Eragon mumbled to himself.

"He's gone! Durza's gone!" Murtagh exclaimed, "Jasper! What were you doing? Are you trying to get yourself killed?! If I hadn't of gotten here when I did-"

"I'm sorry I was doing multiple things at once! But now Amy won't be able to run as much now, so you should be happy you won't need to go around chasing her all over Alagaësia now!" Jasper shouted in return, and this got Eragon's attention, as well as Amy's from underneath them.

"Jasper, what did you do?" Eragon asked quietly.

"I managed to get into her mind, and since she was strongest with her magic, I figured she wouldn't go very far if she couldn't use it, but before I could finish sealing it all with a mental wall Durza caught me off guard and then she did… this." He tilted his head down when he finished, thinking Eragon and Murtagh wouldn't be happy with him for doing this, when they were surprised.

Amy gasped and now had tears in her eyes. Not from sadness, or anger, or confusion, but from pure fear. Fear for her safety, the safety for her life and for Raven's life. "Raven, where are you?"

"I am near little one. Why are you so scared? What happened?"

The tears in Amy's eyes started to fall. "I can't use my magic anymore, I can't fight with swords, and I am in a hole I made IN THE GROUND so I could try and hide from them! I heard them say Durza is gone, so I'm right now I'm alone and with what's happened so far, I don't even know who we should trust…"

"I will come little one. Can you think of anyone who would know who should be trusted?"

"Durza said some 'Roran Stronghammer' needed help from a strong magician, but I can't exactly help him anymore. Maybe my parents, but I don't know where they are." A small sob escaped her mouth as she told Raven.

Eragon heard a small sob from nearby and looked around as Jasper and Murtagh spoke of what Jasper did to Amy's magic. He listened intently and heard someone breathing heavily, too, and when he looked in the direction it was coming from, he saw the tree, and where Amy was before she vanished. 'What if she…' he didn't finish his thought, he just moved what was left of the walls, and opened the earth where Amy was, to see her sitting down in a hole, with her arms wrapped around her knees, look up in surprise, shock, and fear. She backed away from him and into o corner while she was still on the ground. Jasper and Murtagh came over to see what Eragon was doing just to see Amy frightened as if she were a cornered, defenseless, deer.

Eragon gestured for Jasper and Murtagh to back up some and to give her some space. Then he kneeled down and asked "What are you doing down there?" but he got no answer from her, so he decided to take a more friendly approach. He held out his hand to her, showing he wants to help her out and said "We won't hurt you; we just want to help you and try to figure out what happened."

Amy didn't know if she should trust them, but something inside her wanted to, but she didn't know why. She wiped the tears from her eyes and cautiously reached her hand up to him, and he gently helped her out of the hole.
