They went over the simplest form of the dance and Pax was impressed when Tuck stepped it up of his own accord. "Well ok then, you can dance, can you lift her?"
He held her almost effortlessly and she giggled when he spun around the room. "I think we found my new partner Pax." Cadence smiled as he set her down and they took a break. "Oh I think I found our song too." They went through the dance again as she played the song on her iPod. She smiled as he nodded. "Good right."
"I like it; I can already see a hip hop meld, yes. One more time with this song then I have work to do." Paxton exclaimed with a clap of his hands.
His body felt strong pressed against her. His body felt warm, safe and incredibly arousing all at once. She felt dizzy, she felt light headed and she felt inspired. Cadence couldn't explain it, but she didn't feel distracted, she felt almost hyper aware of how his body fit and reacted to hers. She stepped up her own moves and she could sense as well as feel his arousal. The brunette wasn't surprised when that night it was Tuck who called.
LCALCALCALCALCALCALCALCALCALCA
The calls almost became a nightly habit, but it never turned routine. Each night he described new ways to please her and every now and then she'd assert control and he enjoyed how confident she sounded and the sexy lilt in her tone when she'd talk dirty to him. They wanted each other and bad, but furthering the relationship in that aspect just never seemed to work. Not that they couldn't get together and not that they couldn't feel the excruciating need almost clawing at them. It was just, there was something holding them back. The time or the place wasn't right.
In just a few days school would be done and Pax was stepping up practices. Still there was plenty of time for them to bond as a new family even if nothing was official. Cadence was surprised, but she trusted the feeling in her heart. This was going to last Tuck was nothing like Edwin and never would be. He was kind and gentle with Hannah; even joking and dare she say rambunctious when the time called for it. In fact that night Joe had invited her and Hannah to spend the night in what was once a 'boys only' now dubbed family sleepover.

"Mo-om I think…you'll want…to see this…" Hanna called from the other room. She had just gone through the mail and there was an envelope addressed to her. The return address was for a one Edwin Sharp.
Cadence walked into the living room with their sleeping bags and set them by the door. "What is it baby girl?" She asked, taking the letter from her daughter. It wasn't the first time her ex had sent their daughter something. However, it was usually in the form of a simple card, maybe a small gift box, never a letter. "Baby girl this is to you, even knowing how I feel, he is still your father ok, read it and if you need me I'll always be here."
"Alright…love you…mo-om."
"Love you too baby girl." Cadence replied, kissing her daughter's cheek before going to get the rest of their stuff.
LCALCALCALCALCALCALCALCALCALCALCA
"Welcome family!" Joe greeted excitedly. "We were just ordering pizza." He shows the two of them where they can put their stuff as Tuck walks in. "You ordered from the good place right?"
"Of course spudley, only the best for our guests." The agent answered. Next week he was taking Cadence to Nana's and he had to admit the thought as much as it excited him, made him nervous as well. Becoming her dance partner had allowed him to meet her friends and now she would meet his. Well she'd already met Lauren and Trish, but he hadn't told her of that connection yet. It wasn't that he was lying; it just seemed that conversations like that never came up. Maybe it was time, maybe that was one of the things holding them back.
Time seemed to fly by, they watched a movie. Hannah beat Joe in what was a rematch of Soul Caliber from earlier when he'd beaten her. Now they were making Sundaes and getting ready for another movie. "What should…we watch?" Hanna asked as she added cherries to her already loaded ice cream.
"What would you like to watch darling?" Tuck asked with a smile. He helped her carry her bowl to the couch as she went to look over her options. He shared a fond look with Cadence as Joe joined the debate in front of the movies while he joined the brunette on the couch.
They decided to see how far they could get in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Half way into The Two Towers, Hannah and Joe were asleep in their sleeping bags on the floor. Cadence cleared their bowls as Tuck put in the second disc. Suddenly he was behind her, brushing her hair aside and kissing her neck. "Mm Tuck." She sighed as his hands circled her waist.
"I've waited all night for this pet." Tuck admitted as he brushed his hands along her stomach. She turned in his arms and kissed him as he stepped back to lean against the counter. He deepened the kiss, holding her flush to his body as he explored her mouth. "Cadence I…I want to feel you pet, will you let me touch you?"
His voice was so honest, so filled with passion and raw need it took her breath away. "I want your hands on me Tuck, all of me." Cadence purred as he started leading her upstairs to his bed. Being a loft, other than curtains for privacy it wasn't that secluded, but when you had kids, you knew how to keep quiet didn't you?
They fell to the bed together and he was quick to take both of their shirts off. She gasped and arched under him as his hands teased her breasts while his lips traveled her throat. Her hands clenched in his hair when his lips reached her already hard nipples, stiff with excitement. "Ready for me pet, been a naughty girl?" Tuck husked as his hand smoothed down her skin to the waistband of her shorts.
"You have no idea how bad." Cadence purred as her hips started to squirm. The second she felt his gentle touch she wondered if she had the self-control to stop at this. He let out a deep groan as he trailed his fingers back and forth over her folds. She started to moan, biting her free hand and tugging at his hair as she fought to keep quiet.
"I wish you could be loud pet fuckin hell I bet I'll love it when you scream." Tuck admitted, moving his mouth back to hers. Her hips moved with his hand and he gathered every shred of self-control as he slipped two fingers into her enveloping warmth. She couldn't chuckle when he swore, she was too busy drowning in the exquisite pleasure he was giving her. It was very seldom that Tuck Hansen a top agent for the CIA lost control. And it wasn't even that he had, he just didn't stop her when she did.
She felt as if her body was not her own for the sheer boldness of her actions, but she wanted this, heaven help her she wanted it bad. He always told her the pleasure was just for her. Well tonight it was for him too and she was damn well going to make it happen if it was the last thing she did. His eyes widened as she reached out and undid his jeans. Seconds later they closed and his head fell back. He felt incredible in her hand. Why would she stop, why end it here? The kids sleeping downstairs... Oh yeah that…damn. Still her hand kept moving; how they both kept their concentration she wasn't sure.
It was that moment he found her clit, rubbing slow circles with his thumb. "Christ pet I can't…you need to come for me luv." Tuck pleaded in a low groan. Seconds later he finished and determined to have her finish as well he crooked his fingers and increased pace till she fell with a muffled cry of his name.

The two returned downstairs, marveling that Joe and Hannah remained undisturbed. As quietly as possible they set up their own sleeping arrangements. Just as Hannah starts to toss, Tuck and Cadence fall asleep in each other's arms.
She's gotten things from him before, but something tells her this is different. He wants something, she can feel it. Hannah starts to dream about the last time she saw her father.
~flashback~
It's a beautiful day, the house is spotless. It makes her a little uncomfortable, but that's the way daddy likes it. Her mommy hurries to finish dinner before daddy gets home. She wants to help so she starts to put things back when she knocks a vase off the table. "Mo-ommy I'm…sorry!" she wails.
Cadence rushes over to her daughter. Her fear for Hannah's safety vastly outweighs the knowledge that Edwin will be furious when his dinner is not done on time. She comforts her daughter nonetheless and begins to pick up the mess. "Can you get mommy a towel baby girl?" She asks as she picks up the half shattered vase so that no more water falls. The young girl does so and meticulously her mother cleans up the mess. She doesn't want to even dream of what a late dinner 'and' a mess would mean.
~FB~
"Cadence sweetheart I'm home." Edwin calls, expecting to be greeted at the door by his loving wife and the smell of dinner. Neither were present and it wasn't worry it was anger that bubbles in his chest. He stalks into the kitchen.
"Hi honey, sorry dinner needed longer than the recipe said."
"That's good, blame it on the cookbook. It's never your fault is it?" *crack* The back of his hand crashes against her cheek.
"Edwin please…I" Cadence whimpers as he viciously yanks on her hair.
Hannah cowers in her room, believing it was her fault daddy hurt her mommy. She only has a vague idea of what he was doing to her, but she knew one thing for certain. Whatever daddy enjoyed mommy didn't.
~End Flashback~
Tuck had the bad habit of almost never sleeping in. A habit he promised himself he'd break now that he had Cadence. It was only because of this he heard Hannah's small cries before they woke her mother. "Hannah luv wake up, it's alright."
Arms where around her, strong and gentle, still she cried, "Mo-om no…don't hurt…my mo-om." He tried once more to rouse her and she blinked up at him. "It's…all…m-my…f-fault…" Hannah sobbed into his chest.
"Shhh luv its his fault, never yours, his actions are his own." Tuck murmured as he rocked her. Already he knew why she cried and it made him grimace in disgust. How anyone who considered themselves a man could stoop so low was beyond him. Slowly she started to calm as he held her and rocked back and forth. "I promise, I would never hurt you or your mother luv, I promise."
"I know…" *sniff* "D-dad…I…" *sniff* "I know."
It was the first time he'd really heard her call him that. His cheek dropped to her hair as a wave of emotion, of pride and a need to protect washed over him. "Think you want to sleep a little more?"
"C-can I sleep…next to…Mo-om?"
"Of course luv."
She had woken and heard them talking, holding her arms open with a smile as Tuck carried her over. "Bad dreams baby girl?" Cadence asked softly and Hannah nodded. She sighed as the brit settled in behind her after bringing Joe closer sleeping bag and all.

When they had all woken it was decided waffles were in order. After breakfast they headed to the park to take some more photo's to finish the project they had to present next week. They were having so much fun the day seemed to be flying by and they were all sad to see it go. Next week was a dinner at Nana's and that meant talking it meant giving her answers and maybe moving their relationship forward. As said earlier it made him nervous. He couldn't deny it though, Tuck was excited as well.
