Song 10 of 30: Why Don't You and I by Chad Kroeger and Carlos Santana
SoulxOCC
Soul looked around, he had heard there was a new girl at school, but hadn't gotten a chance to meet her. As he looked around somemore to see if he could find a young girl he hadn't met yet not seeing anyone, but the same old people he sighed. Maka came over and sat down beside him with another girl. Soul turned his head and saw her. She had her hair throw to one side it was long and black, her eyes a dark misty gray, she had on silver lipstick, black eyeliner around her eyes, and she wore all black. She smiled at Soul and leaned forward, "so, Maka, who's this handsome gentleman? I don't think I've meet him yet."
Maka laughed, "Well, first off he's no gentleman and I think he can tell you his own name Rissa."
Soul smirked hearing her name, but he felt tingles go through his body as he got excited from just looking at her. They sat there just looking at each other in silents for a moment before Soul tried to speak. His stomach was full of butterflies as he began to speak, but something got caught in his throat as he looked at her. He couldn't use one of his cheesy old lines on her, but yet he did anyways. He leaned back and scratched the back of his head, "Hey, I'm Soul. I didn't know they aloud angels at this school."
She flipped her hair over her shoulder, "yeah. Okay. What other cheesy lines are you going to try on me next?" She got up with a smirk across her face, laughing. "Next time, don't choke when you speak to me." She winked and walked off.
Soul gulped and watched as she walked away, "Is it hot in here or is it just me? Ohh... I think I've got a fever Maka." He looked at her as she shock her head at him.
"Soul, that's no fever. You're such a puppy." She smiles and gets up.
After they had been gone for a bit Soul got up. He felt like he could fly away. He really didn't like this odd feeling in his belly. He shrugged, it must have been something he ate. He walked down the school steps and over to where Black*Star was "hiding". Soul chuckled, "Hey man, what are you up to?"
Black*Star pulled Soul down into the bushes and watched the streets. "The new girl called me out today. She said I could never over pass God, but I'll show her. I'm going to give her a surprise attack from the assassin BLACK*STAR!" He jumped up out of the bushes right in front of her. She raised her eyebrows and walked over to the bush seeing Soul as well.
"Don't look at me. I ain't apart of this." Soul got up, but he hadn't looked up yet and when he did it was like a cat caught his tongue. He looks down and mumbles to himself, "ohh.. here we go again."
Black*Star runs at her, but she just flips him over her back and sighs. "Okay."
She turns to walk away, but Soul thinks for a moment and yells, "Rissa, wait!" He looked up and she turned around and looked at him. Soul got tongue-tied as he looked at her beautiful face and gulped. "Why.. Why don't you and I get together and hang out sometime?" Rissa only rolled her eyes and turns to walk off again. "Wait! You didn't answer." Soul gulped and straightened up as she looked at him.
"Look, Soul, you probably are a pretty cool guy, but Maka told me all of your little tricks. So, no." She shrugged and continues to walk.
"No! Maka doesn't know a thing about me. Okay! This is what we'll do, heads or tails. Heads we will and tails we'll try again." He gives her a toothy grin as she rolls her eyes.
"Do you do this with every girl?" Soul shock his head. Rissa smirked, "go ahead and flip it then."
Soul flipped the coin and it landed on tails and he sighed, "I guess we're going to have to flip again." He looked at her and smiled.
She looked into his red eyes and smiled, "Fine. One date, but if I don't like it no more of this. Deal?"
Soul nodded quickly, "deal."
Rissa rolled her eyes and started to walk off. Soul watched her walk away, checking out her backside and he smiled. Black*Star slapped him over the back of his head.
"Dude, don't fall into her traps. I can tell, she already has you under her evil spell." He rolls his eyes and starts to run away.
I rolled my eyes at that, she does have her hooks in me already pretty much.
