A/N: Finally back in business! Stupid writer's block left me out of it for so long *groan*. But here I am again! Enjoy!

"I've been housing all this doubt... and insecurity... I've been locked inside that house... all the while you hold the key..." ~Reliant K

"Who am I? What am I... here for?"

Xion had been wondering that for a long time. Ever since she'd discovered what she was, she had questioned everything about her existence. She'd never understood herself; she still didn't, actually. Who even was she? Master Yen Sid that she had some role to play, but what?

Lost in thought as she was, Xion didn't see Sora until she'd literally bowled him over. "Oh gosh, I-I'm so sorry, I didn't see you - !"

"S'okay," Sora laughed, getting up. "I've been through worse. You okay?" For she was nursing a skinned elbow she'd gotten from the fall. She nodded.

"Sora?" she asked after she'd gotten up. "What did Yen Sid mean when he said I have a part to play?"

"He meant that you're gonna be a guardian of light!"

She blanched. "What? I can't! I'm not..."

"Hey, we let Lea in. Why not you?" He grinned. "C'mon! You can't lock yourself away in your little bubble of solitude!"

"But I'm... just a puppet..."

Sora shook his head. "No." She didn't reply. He sighed. "Xion... let us help you."
