Jane wiped the sweat of her forehead. It was Tuesday afternoon and practice had just ended. She was having the time of her life. They had their first game Saturday and she was beyond excited. They were playing Hufflepuff. Easy win but still fun. She put away her broom as Lana walked over.

"You're doing great so far Jane. I wish you had been here years ago."

Jane smiled and thanked the captain. She began to head up to her room until she heard a voice behind her.

"I can't find my Raven mask."

She turned to see her friend Luna looking dazed as always.

"For the game?"

"Yes."

"You left it on my bed

Luna nodded and wandered off somewhere else. Jane shrugged and kept in walking until two strong hands grabbed her shoulders. She yelped and turned around. She saw Malfoy staring at her wide eyed.

"I need your dads help. Is he in his room?"

She narrowed her eyes.

"Took you long enough. Yes he is."

He narrowed his eyes as well but stifled a growl. He stormed away. Jane hurried away.

Remus heard a knock on the door. He stood up and answered it to see a weary younger Malfoy. It had been three days since there visit. He let the boy in. Malfoy's hands were in his pockets and it was clear he hated being here. Remus sat down on the couch.

"Well?"

"I admit I need help. You're the only one who can help. That's the only reason I'm here."

Remus nodded with a look of understand. He motioned for Draco to sit down and he did. Remus turned to him.

"What has been bothering you most?"

Draco bit his lip before answering.

"Mood swings, wolfing out, and... Growling."

He scowled. He felt like he was at a muggle therapist. Remus spoke.

"That's normal."

"Nothing about this is normal."

"Draco. Let me speak. Growling is a small thing but for some reason very hard to stop. My advice is don't."

"Wait. What!?"

"You can growl. Just try not to around people. When your alone let it all out on the punching bag."

"Easier said than done."

"It's because you've been working against the wolf. You need to work with it. Don't try to control it. Work together. You have to be a team. If not your animalistic needs will worsen and become even more uncontrollable. It's been like this so far because the wolf thinks your fighting it. So it wants to win. Your not any less, just more. You're wolf side has other needs and interests. You have to except that."

"What if I don't what to!"

"Draco you have to. Or else the rest of your life will be lonely."

Draco remained silent. Remus was suddenly overtaken by pure sympathy. He remembered how hard it was for him in school. At least he had his animagus friends. He probably wouldn't be here without a them. When he looked at Draco again he got an idea.

"Draco, the full moon is in less than three weeks."

"I know."

"Saturday. Stay in the room with me. I know it starts Friday but I want you to experience the hull moon starting outside your cage alone first. Than on Saturday I will expect you in my room."

"What!?"

"Trust me."

"What if I don't want to."

"I will expect you there."

"Maybe. Sir?"

"Yes?"

"Are we done?"

"If you want yes. You can come back tomorrow if you wish."

"I might."

He grumbled. He got up and Lupin waved good bye as Malfoy just left with his head down. Lupin groaned. This would be hard.

"Malfoy looks beat."

Ron murmured at the great hall table during lunch on Thursday. Hermione rolled her eyes and let out a long sigh.

"At least pretend you don't care!"

"I don't!"

Harry stifled a laugh. He began to eat his mashed potatoes until Dumbledor's voice rang out.

"Hello. I would just like to address that we know one of the students is the one playing all the pranks on Filch and I would hope they come clean to it. You know who you are."

Out of the corner of his eye he saw the Ravenclaw table, was that Jane snickering?

Jane was laughing with her friend Luna when she heard a voice.

"Ahem."

She turned to see her father not looking pleased. She waved goodbye to Luna and walked up to her father.

"What's wrong?"

"I know you pranked Filch. You can't lie."

"What..."

Jane's voice trailed off as she awkwardly ran her figures through her hair which was down. She gave a fake smile.

"Your a bad liar Jane."

"I know."

She let out a sigh.

"Sorry. I just wants to feel like your real daughter. I know your friends pranked people at my age."

"Jane, you are my daughter."

"Not your biological one."

"That doesn't matter. Your my real daughter. Biological or not."

He pulled her in for a hug. She squeezed him back.

"But it's was really fun pranking him."

Remus let out a laugh.

Jane lay in bed awake bast curfew. She couldn't sleep. She rolled over messing up her hair I the process. She groaned and quietly got out of bed. She tip toed out in to bathrooms. She splashed cold water on her face.

"Gah."

She wiped it off and headed back into bed. Hopefully sleep would come.

Harry and Ron finished their game of wizard chess and got into bed.

"G'night Harry."
"Night Ron."

The lights turned off as curfew began.

Hermione fell asleep soundly. She was tired and wanted sleep. She dreamed a good dream. That Ron said he loved her. That they built a life together. She mumbled happily in her sleep.

"Mhm."

She smiled with her eyes closed. She didn't believe this could happen. But she wanted to pretend.

Draco had restless sleep as usual. He knew it was about two weeks till the full moon. He didn't like that. All he could think about was what he said.

'Come on Saturday. I know it starts Friday but I want you to experience the full moon starting out if your cage.'

Should he, could he? This was the question that puzzled him as he finally drifted into sleep.

In a muggle village about and hour and a half away from Hogwarts a owl stood still on a telephone line. As if blinked slowly suddenly it had to clutch in to the wire for its life. A large object had sped past it in the air. When it left the owl turned its head to see the object chuckling.

A young witch zipped by on her broom. She chuckled as she spooked a owl. She kept clear of the street lights not to draw attention. She headed out from the muggle village and started back on a road to Hogwarts. She soared high. She hadn't been in a while to her old school. She found her self lost in her thoughts until had to lower bit to hit a bird. As she followed the Hogwarts train tracks her hair turned a bright bubblegum pink. She shouted into the wind.

"Hogwarts here I come!"

Lupin woke up the next morning to a knocking his door.

"Mr Lupin?"

"One minute Albus."

He quickly got out of bed and git changed. He straightened his shirt and answered the door. Dumbledor walked in.

"Remus, she's here."

The witch strode into Hogwarts. Heads turned as she walked but she kept her eyes in front. Her hair kept changing colors with excitement. She finally MagSafes to control it to a bubblegum pink.

Remus jogged done the hall. He headed go the court yard. He had to get there before it was to late.

The witch was running now. She was almost at the court yard. She could see it in front.

Remus was still minutes away. He wouldn't make it!

As he finally arrived he saw the witch hugging and giggling with his daughter who could not have looked happier. His daughter was squealing holding the witch tightly. He let out a smile.

"Dang it."

"Thought you'd get to her first did ya?"

"She's my daughter Nymphadora."

"My names Tonks!"

Lupin let out a laugh as he joined his daughter and good friend, Nymphadora Tonks.

Jane was beyond the term happy. She had been studying for a test. Jane flipped the page and sighed of boredom. She also had a page of home work next to her. Suddenly a voice from behind her spoke.

"You got question 4 wrong."

Jane whipped around to see the metamorphogus known as Tonks. She she was growing up Jane was babysat by Mad eye Moody most of the time. She loved him but she always loved Tonks the best. Tonks was 19 when she met her. Jane was 11 at the time. Tonks was training for being a auora. She liked Tonks like a fun older sister. She was the closest in age. Especially when Jane was in her mid teens. Now that she was 16 Tonks was 24 but she still felt close. Tonks loved her as well. When ever he needed her to Tonks would babysit Jane. But to her it always felt like a sleepover. Tonks was the closest person she knew her age. And she loved her beyond life itself. The same went for Tonks who loved the young girl and felt as if she finally had a younger sibling. She heard Tonks and her father laugh. She let go and smiled at him.

"It's Toooooooooooonks!"

"I know. How are you Dora?"

"I'm fine Remus. How are ya as a teacher once more."

She morphed her face as Minerva and made a funny face. Both laughed hard.

"It's great to see you again. I would like to talk longer but I have to help Hagrid, I'll see you later."

"Bye."

Jane watched Tonks face re-morph to normal. Jane looked at her closely. Did she see longing in her old friends eyes. She gave a sly smile. Tonks turned back to her.

"Why you giving me your troublemaker look?"

Jane gasped.

"You do!"

"Do what?"

"You like my dad!"

Tonks froze. She stared wide eyes at Jane. She opened her mouth than closed it. She looked down before smiling and speaking once more.

"Maybe."

"I knew it!"

Jane shouted. Tonks shushed her. Jane smiled smugly once more.

"Dad and Tonks sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"

"Shut up Janey! What are you five!?"

Jane let out a hearty laugh. She suddenly tried to make a serious face.

"I know he admires you back."

She said casually. Tonks smiled.

"Really?"

"Ha you do like him! And yeah, duh."

Tonks gave a huge smile. Jane smiled back. She didn't have a heart to tell her about how her dad thought it could never work...

Lupin slammed his hands on the desk. He had to lie. He couldn't see Tonks again. He tempered her exotic scent. It radiated pure joy. He wanted her so bad. But he was too old. Too poor. And a werewolf. He was to dangerous. And yet he lived the girl with the firey temper and bubblegum hair. But yet everyone he saw her his werewolf senses went into over drive.

"Dang it!"

He growled. He looked down sadly until the door knocked. He turned to see his daughter walk in. He walked over.

"Hey, thought you were with Dora."

"You're being stupid."

Remus looked like he had been slapped.

"Jane, don't speak to me like-"

"She loves you! And all you do is stand there ignoring her when you feel the same!"

"Jane, I'm to old-"

"Too poor and a werewolf yes I've heard you! Dang it! What's wrong with that! Nothing! Your still a person! It should be better since your strength can help her!"

"No! I'm too dangerous!"

"Than why did you adopt me!"

Jane shouted. The room went silent. He looked her.

"You know why."

"Is that the only reason. Is that the only reason! Or is me being a witch one too! Oh look now you have two reasons!"

She was is tears now but wasn't sobbing. She was still shouting.

"Is that it! Your okay with having a daughter but not a girl friend! Being a werewolf doesn't define you!"
He gave her a sad look. He went over and hugged her. She pushed away.

"No! Give me an answer!"

"Jane, that's not the only reasons. When I first met you I fell in love with you, you reminded me of my old friends and were the cutest and kindest six year old I have ever met. I couldn't image not seeing you again. I always wanted to be a dad. I wanted to be yours. I didn't just get you because of you being a witch. I got you because I love you."

"I know. Sorry I got mad. But you love her too."

"I know."

He let out a sad sigh.

"I know."

It was the big day. The first game of the season. Jane was buzzing with excitement. Especially since Tonks said she would watch. She watched as the crowd went wild as she and the rest of the players became air born. One of the seventh year students was announcer.

"And their off! Chang is searching for that snitch! Oh Merlin's beard she's spotted it! Jameson's spotted it to! They're both off!"

Jane ignored the constant yelling an focused. She needed to keep the bludgers away. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the. All soaring to a hoop. She zoomed quickly and swung her bat. She heard a crack as it zoomed away. She heard cheers in the crowd and smiled.

Draco watched from a stand. He had come in hopes Lupin would mess up. So far he was wrong. He scowled and crossed his arms. Pansy turned to him with a flirty smile.

"What's wrong Draco darling?"

He smiled back.

"I'm fine."

She put her head on his shoulders. He sighed. He was tired. Really really tired. He put a arm around her and she let out a giggle.

Tonks shouted loudly from the stands, hair shifting from color to color within her excitement. Lupin turned his gaze over across the stands, looking out at at her with a longing stare.
