Chapter 10

Emily got up out of bed and looked at Alison. She didn't have the heart to wake the blonde up. She put her leather jacket on and went into the living area of the loft. She opened the fridge and grabbed a beer. She took a long swig. She was greeted by Toby. "Morning." She said to him.

"Morning, how you doing?" He asked as he rummaged through the refrigerator, looking for something to drink other than alcohol.

"Alright I guess, how about you Tobs?" She asked.

"Horrible, I got a raging headache." He said, as he poured himself a tall glass of orange juice. Emily got up and went to the cabinets in the kitchen. She got out a bottle of aspirin. She threw it to Toby.

"Thanks Em." He said as he opened it and popped a pill in his mouth and washed it down with his orange juice.

"You want some breakfast? I was gonna pour Ali a bowl of lucky charms." Emily said.

"Is it the box that just has the marshmallows?" He asked with a smile.

"Yep, thats just the perks of having a friend who works in the cereal business." Emily said with a smirk. She got one of the many rigged lucky charms boxes out and poured a huge bowl. She went into the fridge and got some milk out, poured it in, and then gave it to Toby. "There you go." She said as she gave it to him.

"Thanks man." He said. He started eating it and smiled immediately as he got the taste of it. "Shit this is good." He said.

"Yeah I know." Emily said, as she poured another bowl, this one for Alison. "Hey, keep this between you and me alright?" She asked. "I don't want them eating my stuff." Emily said with a smirk.

"Deal, they can stick to their fruity pebbles." Toby said as he ate another spoonful. Emily smiled and grabbed the cereal brought it back into her room where Alison was still sleeping. She sat the bowl of cereal on the bronze nightstand and gave Alison a kiss on her temple. Alison smiled.

"Morning baby." She said with a smile, and groggily. Emily laughed.

"You know you're really cute when you just wake up." Emily said. Alison smiled. She sat up from the bed. Emily gave her the bowl of cereal. Alison looked at it in shock. Emily smiled at Alison's face.

"Oh my god! Em, how did you do this?!" Alison asked in excitement as she looked at the bowl of Lucky Charms that only had marshmallows in it.

"I have my ways." Emily said. For about five minutes they sat in comfortable silence as Alison ate her cereal. Emily couldn't believe she had a super hot girlfriend. Alison wasn't just hot, she was drop dead gorgeous.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Alison asked.

"Because sometimes I have to take a second look at you to make sure you're actually here. Because every moment I spend with you feels like a dream." Emily said sweetly. Alison smiled.

"Jeez Em, when you say things like that you really make me want to hump your leg off." Alison purred. Emily laughed.

"As fun as that sounds, I can't today. I'm hanging out with Spencer." Alison looked at Emily surprisingly.

"Why?" Alison asked, fighting that pang of jealousy she was feeling.

"She's helping me with the multiple questions I have to answer about the various books I didn't read." Emily said with a smile. Alison looked worried. "Hey, you have nothing to worry about babe. Spencer is so obviously crushing on Toby.

"Not even, she's with Alex." Alison said in disbelief.

"Fine, believe what you want." Emily said with a smile as she put her black combat boots on. "I'll see you later." She said. She hopped in her car and drove to Spencer's. She knocked on the door. Spencer answered.

"Hey Em, come on in." Spencer said with a smile. Emily eagerly obliged. They went upstairs to her room, and sat on her bed.

"So lets get to it. What's the theme of 'The Outsiders'?" Emily asked Spencer getting her notebook out and preparing to write.

"Oh fuck no, I'm not telling you anything about that book. You have to read that one by yourself." Spencer said with a smirk.

"What, why? Because I know for a fact that you would like it, I think you could really relate to the main character." Spencer said. Emily rolled her eyes.

"Fine. What's the theme of Wuthering Heights? And you aren't going to persuade me to read that one. Its thicker than the bible." Emily said.

"Love." Spencer simply said. Emily wrote it down.

"What about 'The Catcher in the Rye'?" Emily asked.

"Its painful to grow up." Spencer said. "The Great Gatsby's theme is in my opinion is that the upper class is hollow." Spencer said. Emily looked at her funny.

"But you're upper class." She pointed out.

"Exactly why I would know." Spencer said jokingly. Emily laughed .

"I guess you're right." Emily said with a smile. She got up off the bed to stretch her legs. She walked over to Spencer's bookshelf and pulled out a random book. 'Great Expectations'.

"That wasn't on this semester's reading list." Spencer pointed out.

"Oh I know, it just looks kinda interesting. Whats it about?" Emily asked.

"An orphan named Pip who falls in love with a douchebag of a girl named Estella. Then he tries to get rich so she likes him. Thats basically all I can say without spoiling it for you." Spencer said. Emily nodded.

"You mind if I borrow it?" Emily asked. Spencer nodded yes. Emily went back onto the bed and sat down on it with Spencer. She tossed the book to Spencer.

"I thought you wanted to borrow it." She stated.

"I do but I want you to read some of it too me." Emily said. She sat up against the headboard of the bed where Spencer was. Spencer started reading, and Emily listened carefully.

One hour later…

Hanna came up to Spencer's room to see Spencer's lips on Emily's neck, and Emily's head thrown back. Were they sleeping? Yep they were sleeping. She pulled her phone out and snapped a picture. Emily was definitely cheating on Alison, with Spencer. She knew she was no good. Hanna saw Emily and Spencer stirring so she hid on the side of the door, so she could hear them.

"Wow, that was the most fun I've had in a while." Spencer said.

"Yeah, me too." Emily said. Hanna got her phone out to record the conversation. "We should definitely do it again some time." Emily said with a smile.

"Oh you know I'd love that." Spencer said groggily. Emily smiled.

"Lets keep this between us okay?" Emily asked Spencer. "I don't want Alison to find out about this thing we did." Emily said. Holy shit they did hook up.

"Yeah, of course." Spencer said. Spencer leaned in to hug Emily. Hanna quickly snapped a picture of them hugging. "Oh shit my parents are home, I don't want them finding out about this either." Spencer said.

"Alright, I'll go out the window. See you tomorrow at school Spencie." Emily said, before leaving.

'Holy shit. Spencer and Emily hooked up behind Alison's back, while they were together. Shit...' Hanna thought.

Uh oh...Hanna has a misinterpretation. What's gonna happen? Will Hanna tell Alison what she think she saw and heard? Where's Addison? You'll see her next chapter at the school.
