Liam and Annie were in the kitchen later on and he commented, "You and I knew each other for well over a year when I proposed but you still said no when I proposed so what makes Hugh special?" Annie responded, "He's...charming!" Liam snorted out a laugh then said, "And wealthy!"
Annie said, "And he actually loves me unlike you! You had your chance, Liam but you passed it up. I am going back to Paris in the morning and I'm never coming back to Beverly Hills so don't bother contacting me again!" Liam shouted, "Fine! I won't bother contacting you again! I hope you and Hugh have happy lives together! I hope you never wonder about what I was going to say to you after Silver's funeral!"
Annie wanted to ask Liam what he was going to say to her and she was about to ask him but Liam said to her, "Maybe you should have changed the ending of your book! Leo comes to find Annabelle on a plane only to realise she has gone forever!" Annie asked Liam, "So you actually tried to find me?" Liam shouted, "Yes but it doesn't matter now! You're getting married to someone else!"
Annie asked Liam, "What were you going to say to me?" Liam said, "Whatever I was going to say is going to change nothing as you told me last night right to my face that you hate me! Just now I saw you accept a proposal from a man you barely knew four months! An older wealthy man who's getting divorced!" Annie begged, "Maybe if you just told me what you were going to say, I might reconsider my decision!" Liam said, "Whatever!," then walked away
