Chapter 10: Moving the Capsules.
I started to wonder if the capsules will be safe in the secret rooms that Dr. Scorpio had. I know having them here would result on further steal. I know that it won't be long for Cranial Shift to kill us and to find them. I looked at the three who exchange the glances at me.
"I know you both are worried about the outcome of things. However, we need to moved the capsules. If we continue to leave them out in the open we may lose people," I said.
"I agree with that, but once we moved them do we have access to the area?" asked Terra. I sighed.
"Yes we do but I do recommend not to go there much often. If we can thrown Cranial Shift and possibly other thieves that we do not have them anymore, then there is a chance that we might have them around," I said.
"Well fooling the enemy is an old tactic but it is also effective. I am with you that idea. This hidden area you are talking about we are going to move them one by one," said Lotus.
"If we put all of our strength we can move all 16 capsules. To the new location here but the downfall we must do this quickly before anyone else knows about the location," I said.
"Then lets get to work. We start off moving the three humans. Magician, Ceil and Mary are the first ones to be moved. We cannot cut anymore of the capsules life support to save them. If we manage to get them to safety then we can worry about the reploids next," said Kira, "As much I want them to be first I rather want those humans safety and still functioning."
"We are going to start off with Mary first then Magician. Reason why those two might have unstable capsules so I want to make sure that when we put them in a different location it won't disturb them. Ceil will be the third since it was her original capsule so most of the functions can support her," I said.
"Agreed," said Lotus. We get to work on carrying Mary's capsule. I guide the people to a secret area where I punched the access codes. The door opens and to my surprised the room is bigger than the place where I hold the first area. I hurried to get the others to set Mary's capsule down. I check everything within the capsule and it was functional. I sigh of relief. That means that she will be fine.
"I never thought carrying a human inside a huge capsule will be backbreaking work," said Terra.
"Well we better hurry with the other capsules," said Kira, "I want to make sure that they are all here. Lets go get Magician's capsule and we make sure that everyone is here." Everyone nodded and the next capsule is brought to the secret location. I checked Magician's capsule and it is fine. She will be fine. Then we go get Ceil's capsule. Her capsule show leakage of oxygen. I fixed it quickly or we might have a dead human that we do not want. When the others start bringing the reploid capsules, I give the access code to Terra as she can use the code. After few hours, Ceil's capsule is fixed. I sighed in relief. I went to check on the reploid capsules. So far the group bring Rider, Strider, Athena and Omega. Those four so far shows no signs of damage and they will be fine. I was thankful. Next two after the group have brought in was Alia and Iris. Those two girls are doing fine. When I finish my last inspection another capsule brought in. This one is the guardian Phantom. I sighed I looked at his capsule after they brought him in. His capsule like the rest is fine. I followed the rest and start helping to bring X, Zero, Harpuia, Axl, and Fefnir. I inspected them all and they are good in the hidden place. The rest went to go fetched Leviathan's capsule. The place start rumbling. The four of us hurried and manage to get Leviathan's capsule to the hidden secret place. Unfortunately, her capsule is heavily damage. It will take me days to repair.
"We will handle the outside noise just keep on fixing Leviathan's capsules," said Kira as she held her saber. Terra has her scythe ready and both of those two left. Lotus left as she is armed. I continue to fixed Leviathan's capsule and few hours later the three came back.
"Well all three of you need rest," I said as I stop what I was doing to look at the three people who is basically exhausted.
"Ok just keep fixing the capsule," said Kira. Days has passed and I have finally fixed Leviathan's capsule. The three had told me that a new hunter for the capsules tried to come. I was afraid of that. The burst the entrance of the area. Luckily, the capsules are underground of the main laboratory so getting to them is hard and even harder when the area is made of an alloy that fire cannot penetrate it. If electrical currents happen well that is what the generator is for. This place takes up a lot of electricity so it won't be wise to do so. Kira, Terra, Lotus, and myself goes around the area killing Viroids. Cranial Shift did tried to sneak his way around. We let him. To my surprised he broke down in tears. I looked at that reploid from a distance.
"So someone took my cash. More importantly they took the Legendary Reploid Zero away from me. Does not matter. I create my defense force in my own hands and my own image. Anyone oppose me will be crushed. If push comes to shove. I will use these things," said Cranial Shift. I look at them and find out they appear to be biometals. He has model A on his hand. Someone hit him and he screech in pain. It was the other one who almost killed him.
"So I was not the only one who tried to steal those capsules. Those bugger guardians had taken them somewhere but from the current mapping of the place I do not know where they put them," said another male's voice.
"Ghost. I did not expect you to be here," said Cranial Shift. The reploid came in full view. White with little bit of purple and blue armor. His eyes are red which I can tell from this distance. His silver hair color reminds me that he is a reploid.
"Well I do not know where they hidden them but they are clever bunch. I give them that credit. And they let us wonder around here. I know you agreed to my proposition of if you have the Legendary Reploid Zero I have the other Legendary Reploid X," said Ghost.
"I know but right now it is a bust. I have something to back me up. Once we get project rule the world will be in our hands," said Cranial Shift.
"I would not recommend Guess with us. He tends to talk to much," said Ghost. Cranial Shift looks at him.
"Guess is good manipulating people through talking unlike us who use brute force. I find it interesting if he is around. Besides he did hire you to assassinate the legions. So no more Master Thomas and Master Mikhail," said Cranial Shift.
"That was the easy part. The one I miss completely is that guardian transporter who happen took the rest of the biometals away. I would have Model P, H, O, L, and F. I did not expect that transporter has Model Z and X," said Ghost.
"It is fine. She will be under our rule. Besides I did destroy Guardian HQ. She has no where to run," said Cranial Shift.
"We better get going. Time is short and once we rule it will be limitless," said Ghost. Cranial Shift nodded and both left. When the coast is clear, I went to where they stand. I found that Cranial Shift dropped Model A.
"This may comes in handy," I said. The three who come out of hiding looked at me.
"So that was their plan in the begin with. Since he figured we have no where to run we will be coped up in here," said Terra.
"It is better for us. He cannot attack us and we could keep these people from harm and if things get worse. We will release the four guardians and if there is things they cannot handle then we release my father and X," said Kira.
"We do not know what the future holds under their thumb. I do believe there will be a resistance group trying to stop them. So far their weapons are the viroids. Which the cyber elves get killed over trying to save us," said Terra.
"Of course but they are hidden in this world somewhere. We know that for sure," said Lotus.
"Plus I can keep my promise to Mary. Wake her up when it comes to 30XX," I said.
"Can you last 200 years before dying?" asked Terra. I looked at her and sighed. I know this question will come up.
"I will have enough time to wake Mary up then after that I will die," I said. Lotus and Kira looked at me.
"Well since the capsules will preserve us from the dying," said Terra, "I do think we should be in capsules as well. However in a different location from the 16 capsules. Like this we would be awaken within 200 years. I do believe they will try to find the capsules and probably find us first. If they did we are lucky," said Terra, "Plus I can have it activated when someone figure the pass code or break the machine to open the door."
"Can you really do that," I said. Terra smiled as she looked at me. Lotus and Kira also looked at Terra.
"Of course. I can do that however, for the longest we sleep the better. Also Priestess, I can set yours to wake up exactly 200 years so that way you will be up," said Terra.
"Well I can get started building the four capsules and I know a better place where we can be in," I said. Everyone nodded. I build the capsules while Terra build a trigger mechanism to the three capsules and a timer on mine. Days has passed by and four capsules are finished minus Terra's devices.
"There it is finish the devices. I just going to basic install them to the door compartment. However, there is a manual override. If we ever get to 30XX before hand then that is good. We can wake up Mary and hopefully that will be it. Then we all can decide if we want to wake up anyone else in the capsules," said Terra. I nodded. Lotus stepped in the capsule first. I closed it and she is now in hibernation.
"Ok I set the time on yours. Once the door is shut it automated lock itself and you can get in when you are ready," said Terra. Kira stepped in to the next capsule and I closed it. She is now in hibernation.
"I thank you," I said and nodded. Terra went to the other capsule and I closed her. She went to a deep sleep. I stepped into my capsule and close the door from the inside. Now I felt my body went light as I started to feel my eyes growing heavy. I then felt like I am asleep. I hope that Terra is right. I hope that I will awake Mary.
