Finn was sleeping soundly in his hospital bed as he continued to recover from the time he blacked out. The lights are off with the streaks of moonlight coming through the window. The small opening in the window caused the drapes to blow with the breeze. He was covered in the curtains around his hospital bed that blocked the light from the moon. Finn began to mumble in his sleep as he changed his position from his back to his side.

Suddenly a shadow was casted onto the curtains around his bed. Slowly, the shape circled Finn's bed, waiting for a moment to strike. It stretched out its hand through the curtains closer and closer to Finn. Its hand was made of a red gas; it had a form of some monster with only three uneven and disfigured fingers. Then Finn moved again switching his body to face the hand, but then it disappeared. He began to thrash in his sleep slightly. His mumbles became louder and formed coherent words. No, Stop, I can't….let that happen he said louder and louder. He positioned onto his back where he began to sweat profusely.

He finally opened up his eyes to see he was still in the bed with sweat races down his face. He felt excessively hot and decided to remove his sheets. He put his hands on his face and rubbed it trying to wake him up slightly. He looked around his bed trying to find something that might be off. He felt as if nothing was real, and yet it was pure reality at the same time. He decides that he needs some fresh air and then he will head back to bed, for he desperately needs sleep after the events of the previous day.

He pushes open his curtains to find an empty hospital hall with nothing but beds and the ominous moonlight coming through the windows above his head. He took a few steps down the long hall before he heard an odd rustle behind him, and he quickly swiveled on his foot to that direction. He saw that there was nothing behind him but a door that led to another building. He dismissed it and continue to walk to the other side of the building. He began to feel light headed and stopped for a moment to calm down and catch his breath. He stared at the door, now seeming like it was further away from him than it was a second ago.

He begins to feel a chill take him over as he now starts to panic. He saw a shadow pass the window, and he readies himself to fight. With his fists up he makes his way to the door slowly but surely. Before he realized he had already started running for the door, as some odd fear took him over, forcing him out of the hospital. As he finally reached the door, he was stopped in his track as something had grabbed his shoulder. His eyes wide and his mouth started to form a gape.

He felt something creep around him, and as he regained his senses and his courage his attacked it with an elbow strike. He hit nothing, seeing there was no one there. When he turned around he saw a hideous monster with a face that looks as if it is being melted, long thin arms ending with three ugly fingers each. Its body looked like it was decaying wood, and even its dark eyes seemed as if they had died and were cursed. His "skin" hung loose off of him, and around its stomach it simply hung off.

As Finn opened his mouth to scream, he was attacked by this evil creature and pinned to the floor. The creature wrapped its hand around Finn's mouth as it fused with his skin. It licked Finn face, causing him to thrash about. The creature then grab one hand and fused it with the floor and Finn's wrist. He Then grew a third arm in the form of some weird thin reptile tentacle and used it to bind Finn's other hand. Finn continue to groan and kick his legs in protest of the grotesque monster. It drew closer to Finn as if to whisper something to him.

"You can't escape" the monster said breathing all over Finn. It opened its mouth revealing several circular rows of shark like teeth along with a large worm that split opened to reveal several more randomly placed teeth. Finn started to hyperventilate and panic at this sight. The monster lunged at Finn and tore Finn's head off, leaving his limp body below and growing pool of red blood. It then dragged the body away with it to wherever it was going.

"NOOOO!" Finn had woke up with a cold sweat as he was breathing hard and fast. He was blinking extremely fast and was scanning the room like a mad man. His heart was beating so fast that that the EKG machine started to beep, alerting the nurses that were stationed nearby. While they began to rush to Finn's bed, he was in a daze, not knowing what had just happened to him. He had lost his touch on reality yet again. He began to move his hands in front of his face to inspect them, they were clean albeit sweaty and shaky. He then went to feel his neck, where he was separated from his body that as left to bleed with a monster. He saw that nothing was wrong at that it was simply a dream.

"What the fuck is happening? I need to calm down." As he tried to reassure himself of his sanity, the nurses came to check his pulse, along with them was Doctor Princess. They checked his vitals and began to ask him some questions, but Finn was still dazed to even hear them, he was still reliving his dream in his mind over and over again.

"Finn? What happened? Are you okay?" Doctor Princess asked him as she checked his vitals to confirm his health. She used her stethoscope to check his heart, along with a blood pressure test. She looked at his eyes and checked his temperature.

"It….it was a bad dream. I'm sorry for the outburst." Finn finally calmed down and his heart managed to settle. He noticed it was the morning and that there were three other patients in the hall with him. He saw how the nurses slowly calmed down after they all saw that it was just a false alarm.

"That must have been an intense dream, Finn. You sure you okay? Your heart rate was reaching about 130 bpm. You're regular heart rate is about 80 bpm. I think you need to calm down, maybe you're stressed out about something?" Finn just sunk his head back into his pillow and heard Doctor Princess tell one of the nurses something about bringing some medication to help relax him during the night. He had asked if it was alright to take a walk outside, and they said it might be good for him.

Finn tied his robe back together, took a deep breath, and sat up. He had regained his senses and lost that feeling of fear and despair.

"It was nothing but a dream… get over it Finn" he said to himself quietly as he picked himself up. He put on the slippers that hospital gave him to walk around in and proceeded to walk down the hall, half expecting that monster to come again and eat him. He shook it off and went through the door. He was hit by a welcoming breeze and a bright sun that his eyes were not prepared for. He saw some people run across from him, probably workers of the castle. He saw a nearby garden with a bench by it, so he decided to go sit and enjoy the atmosphere.

He quickly made it to the bench, releasing a loud sigh as he closed his eyes and became lost in the breeze. It soothed him, making him forget about everything he had experienced so far. He smelled the fresh flowers and heard the sounds of birds, along with the obvious sounds of the kingdom, yet he welcome it. He saw the noise as a sign that he was still in the real world. He grew a big smile as he let his arms stretch out on the bench and his eyes close.

"Someone looks comfy" a mystery voice said as she laughed. Finn opened his eyes out of surprise to see Princess Snowflake. She was in a simple white tee shirt, blue pants and shoes. Oddly enough she had her hair tied into a ponytail with some strands hanging off the right side of her face. Finn had noticed that her hair was actually light blue with white streaks, the name of Princess Snowflake fits her so well.

"Yeah just figured I come out for a walk." Finn said sitting up and opening his eyes completely. He gives her a big smile that makes her slightly blush.

"So how you feeling? When are they going to release you from the hospital?" Snow ask as she sat down with Finn.

"Well they haven't said much, hopefully I can get out by today. I'm kind of hungry and their food isn't the best" Finn had laughed at his own little joke, which Snow had also joined in.

"Um, about yesterday," she paused out of embarrassment, "I'm sorry for letting that on you, I guess it must have been a bit awkward. It was just a onetime thing and I know we haven't really known each other much…" Snow was stumbling on her words from her embarrassment. Her face, with its pale blue color, was turning bright pink. She began to fidget as she looked at Finn, who had a straight face, as if saying he didn't know why she was embarrassed.

"To tell you the truth, I don't remember much of what happened before I woke up in the dungeon, but I keep on getting these memories. So I didn't even know about us before you had told me." Finn had given off a slight laugh that made Snow's blush make her redder. She made a face as if her brain had just been fried and slumped in the bench. Finn had continued to laugh at this, in a jokingly way.

"Why didn't you tell me that before I made such a big deal yesterday!? You really do have no tact Finn!" She said as she had covered her face. As Finn was staring at her more images began to rush into his mind, the time they had spent together, how they had known each other for a month, but he still doesn't remember exactly how he gone to sleep to begin with.

"Sorry, but you act different when you get hyped up like that, it's kind of cute in a way." Snow had begun to pout at Finn.

"Oh shut it, ya playboy, what would FQ say if she heard you?" Snow had noticed Finn's slight uncertain face. He seemed to not be sure of his relationships nor about the relations of the others. It was as if he knew half of the things that happened, but then he also has memories of something else that happened, he was torn between which was his true reality.

"Yeah, about that. Am I really with FQ? Like I said, my memories are a big mess, so I was wondering if you could fill me in on something's." He had clasped his hands together in a begging manner with a goofy smile on his face. This had piqued Snow's interest, so she decided to have some fun with the confused hero.

"Oh? The great Finn the Human is asking me, a princess, for help? Hmm I think I'll have to think about it." She had said getting closer to Finn with a smug look on her face. Finn sighed in defeat and exasperation.

"Ok, what do you want?" He had said in a tired manner; he may not remember much, but he does remember how Snow is, and she usually acts this way when she wants someone to stroke her ego or when she wants something.

"I don't know. What do I want? I guess," She had paused to think with her finger on her chin to exaggerate her actions, "I want you to make me an Everything Burrito, you aren't the only one that's hungry you know." She had put her elbow on the bench looking at Finn triumphantly, and they both knew he would fall into her demands.

"I don't even know when I'm going to be discharged yet though. I can't promise something like that." Finn had said in protest, praying that she would not make him do anything for some helpful information. Snow was not listening to Finn's logic and only insisted on her conditions for the information.

"Then, I'm sure they will listen to a princess and discharge a hero, besides not like you're hurt or anything, you look healthy to me." She got up and grabbed Finn's hand forcing him up to his feet, making his stumble a bit.

"Well come on, I want my burrito!" She began to drag Finn with her into the Hospital hall. For being easily embarrassed, she sure is a tomboy Finn thought. As they gone through the doors, they had quickly spotted Doctor Princess.

"Doctor Princess! I was wondering, when could Finn be discharged?" And I'm the one with no tact? Finn thought after witnessing Snow's actions, although he is slightly used to his. He looked around the hall, still having an odd tingly sensation. After the dream, while it still looked the same, the hall had an almost eerie atmosphere, as if something was going to happen, something very dangerous.

"Well, physically he is healthy, and when we took some MRI and PET scans his brain seemed good. But I am worried about a dream he had last night, it made him wake up in a cold sweat and made his heart rate skyrocket." Snow had look at Finn wondering if what Doctor Princess had mention was serious, but Finn noticed her looked and responded to her.

"It was nothing, just a vivid nightmare, nothing major. I've been through way worse than a fast heart beat." Finn reassured them, and convinced Doctor Princess to release him.

"Ok, but if anything should happen again, come back in and we'll run some more test, just to make sure the problem isn't psychological or anything like that. I'll go get your things." Doctor Princess went off to find Finn's things, leaving Snow and Finn alone again.

"I was kind of hoping she wasn't going to release me." Finn had said with sigh accompanied with a face of defeat. With everything that has happened, he was not in the mood to be making an Everything Burrito. Snow, however, saw this expression and decided to revitalize him.

"Oh come one, it's just one burrito, plus you are going to get some info out of me. So it's a win win situation." She had said with a smile to brighten up Finn's mood. Finn sighs and finally gives in to her request. They spotted some chairs near the end, by the door that connects to another building. While they decided to walk over there, Finn continued to experience different memories. Some from the dream, some that made sense, and then others that seemed as if they never happened. Finn saw a scene that he destroyed the castle with his sword. He couldn't take all these images and stopped to hold his head, which caused Snow to become worried.

"Finn, are you okay!? Do we need to get a nurse or something?" Finn had shook his head at the distraught Snow, straightening himself up. He was breathing hard, not understanding what these odd memories were. He needed to understand what was going on, and Princess Snowflake might just help him.

"Relax, just a little tired. Had a rough night last night." He laughed it off, "but come on, let's get my stuff and then we can go make you that burrito." Finn got up and saw Doctor Princess coming back into the hall with a box filled with clothes.

"Well, here you guys go." She handed them the box and left to attend to other matters. Finn went behind the curtains of his previous bed and began to change. He saw his black cargo pants, along with a black shirt, and black boots and gloves. Funny, Finn thought, seems weird to be wearing all black, but whatever. He proceeds to strip off his hospital gown revealing a body filled of scars and an odd mark over his heart. It looked like a small flame tattoo in black.

"The hell is that? I definitely know that I don't have a tattoo." Finn stared at it for a moments and ignored it, figuring it must be a part of the memories he doesn't remember yet. He put on his all black uniform and realized that besides his burn marks from FQ, they were pretty beaten, and he must have been in some battle before he was knocked out.

He exited the curtain handing the box and robes to the nearest nurse he saw. Princess Snowflake saw him and laughed a bit. Finn noticed her and raised an eyebrow, making her burst laughing.

"Okay, what I do now? Cuz it looks like you just broke." Finn said laughing slightly at his own comment. Princess Snowflake managed to calm down while holding her stomach. She smile with sly eyes and pointed at Finn, which made him jump slightly.

"Dude" she paused momentarily, just to get some extra effect, "you look like a stripper dude!" she continued to laugh as Finn made a deadpan face and smacked his forehead while sighing. As he watched her laughed a bit more, he began to get more memories of spending time with her, and he realized that at times she is extremely girly. However, its more common for her to be tomboyish and always either laugh, joke around, mess with someone, or eat more than what she looks like she can handle.

"Oh be quite, this is what you guys let me go in with. Did no one think about getting me some clothes or something?" Princess Snowflake shook her head while putting her finger to her chin.

"Actually, since it happened so quickly, we didn't really think much of it and just rushed you here. You should thanks us actually." Finn took off his shirt, thinking he might as well not even be wearing something that damaged. He then realized his tattoo was showing, but it shouldn't be a problem, seeing as how Princess Snowflake already saw his body once before. Princess Snowflake began to blush and fidget, becoming slightly uncomfortable at Finn's muscular body.

"What?" Finn asked being completely oblivious at Snow's thoughts.

"Nothing! Let's just go and get you a shirt. Maybe PB will have a shirt for you that won't get so battered." She said that sheepishly, almost as if Finn made her weak, and he kind of did without even realizing it. They walked through the end of the hall reaching the exit door and hitting outside. While the sun was out, Finn notice a slight chill. However, as he was with Princess Snowflake, he ignored it and went on to the castle to get a more resistant shirt. They walked, not talking much due to Princess Snowflake still fidgeting. Finn finally decides to break the ice. He decides to tag her on the shoulder, inviting her to a game of tag and a race to the castle. Snow easily took the challenge and forgot about the fact that Finn is shirtless. They started to run through the kingdom not trying to hit anyone. This eventually leads Finn to climb up some small buildings using parkour, a trick he picked up with Billy.

"Hey, that cheating! No epic ninja running!" Princess Snowflake was mad that Finn was using a skill that she didn't have. She hates losing anything and gets defensive when she doesn't win.

"We never made those rules about me not using parkour, it's fun so why can't I use it!?" Finn said as he reached the top of a building, ignoring her complaints and continuing to run through the city. As he was jumping over obstacles and doing flips off one building to the next, he was laughing, as if he felt some type of freedom he hasn't for a while. He then suddenly saw a white blur pass him. It was Princess Snowflake.

"You never said anything about using my powers!" She said without stopping. Finn smirked and started to run faster. Soon he jumped down a wall landing perfectly fine on his feet. He started to go for a bakery he knows of, that is usually empty. After a minute of rushing, he threw the door opened to find it empty. Perfect he thought. He went to the back room to reveal a hidden trap door that lead to some passage underground. He jumped down and quickly grabbed the torched. He ran as fast as he could through its winding path. This was one of the many escape passages for Princess Bubblegum should she need it. It led directly to the castle, specifically this one led to her room.

He suddenly got another flash of memories, however this time he did not experience pain, and they just pooped into his head. He saw Marceline and him running from some guards, Marceline was crying and was weak. When they finally lost the guards and got to the trap door, there saw there were guards at the door. They were captured by the guards in the store and Finn was handcuffed, with Marceline sprayed with some gas that made her lose consciousness.

Finn was confused and shed a tear, as if this was a memory that destroyed an important part of his life. He dismissed it as if it was just some weird day dream, or a dream he was remembering. He continued until he saw some stairs. He proceeded to run up them as fast as possible, trying not to fall and slip. When climbing the excessively high stair cased he reached a wall with a lever to the side. When he pulled it the wall opened up revealing Marceline and Princess Bubblegum sitting on the bed talking about something. They quickly shot their heads up and blushed out of embarrassment

"What the hell dweeb!? Where the fuck did you come from!?" Marceline said in a shocked rage, still with a red face.

"Ya Finn, that passage is only for emergencies, what is going on here? We were" she looked at Marceline and coughed into her hand," busy with important matters." Finn was fidgeting trying to find the right words to say, because he knew he interrupted something, intimate to say the least. He step in the room, finding a book on the shelf, and pulled it. This caused the wall to close.

"Well, actually, I was just released and um I was with Snow and um, she said I should go see you for a new shirt or something and we kind of-" at this moment Snow flew through the room almost crashing into the wall because she could not slow down. All three of them just stared at her with a dead pan face. Marceline smacked her forehead and sighed.

"raced here." Finn finished, with Snow getting up from the ground and pouting.

"How the hell did you get here? I was flying!" Snow somewhat ignored the couple on the bed, which made Finn even more nervous and fidgety.

"Any way, PB! Finn needs a shirt, FQ kind of destroyed his other one on top of it already being in rags." Princess Snowflake said oblivious to the situation that she and Finn had come into. Finn looked to his two friends on the bed and back to Snow, then to his bare chest.

"Ya um that shirt would be nice right about now." Finn said rubbing the back of his head out of embarrassment. Princess Bubblegum sighed and got off the bed in an annoyed manner. She picked up the phone to call in a guard to pick up a shirt from the armory.

"Didn't know your guards wore shirts my size" Finn said with a laugh, but at this point Marceline and Princess Bubblegum's mood was ruined, so they just went with it.

"Well, seeing as how many fights you have been getting into with the Kingdom, I've decided to just give you your own section in the armory. We have different armors and weapons for you to use. Matter a fact we still have your swords you used the last time you fought the Ice King." Princess Bubblegum explained, and at the mention of a personal armory, Finn's face lit up.

"I have my own armory! That is AWESOME!" Finn yelled causing everyone to laugh at how excited he gets over weapons.

"Well hopefully that new shirt is sturdy, maybe it should be fire proof. To be honest, black looks good on you Finn, makes you look like some type of badass spy." Snow had said while patting Finn on the back with a huge grin on her face.

"Ya Finn, makes you look more mature. Blue is such a boring color." Marceline said as she sucked the red out of some strawberries she had next to her on the bed.

" You need to try some different colors every now and then, you know." Everyone looked at each other and laughed at Marceline for that comment.
"What!?" she asked in protest to their laughter.

"Marceline, you shouldn't be talking. Lately, most of your clothes have been black and red. Are you trying to pull off some type of "gothic punk" look?" Princess Snowflake had said as they all laughed, including Princess Bubblegum. Princess Bubblegum had sat back on the bed and kissed Marceline on the cheek, as if to say 'its okay, it was cute'. Princess Snowflake jumped on the bed to get some strawberries, much to the couple's protest. Finn decided to sit against the wall to wait for his shirt.

"Hey, PB, what kind of shirt is it if it's coming from an armory?" Princess Bubblegum had lightened up when he asked that.

"Good question. After the incident with Ice King, I had a blacksmith at Magic City to build you a lightweight shirt that is fire proof, ice proof, and indestructible. It also enhances your body's natural healing for those more dangerous wounds. Of course, it's not magic, they just have blacksmiths with more skill than ours in augmented weapons" They all laughed at Princess Bubblegum's pride and refusal to believing in magic. Finn was amazed at the properties of the shirt he was going to get. He was anxious to get it so he kept his eyes on the door. After a moment the girls got into a conversation, allowing Finn to day dream.

While looking at the room he saw the pink décor of the place. The pink and fluffy bed, pink walls, a pink drawer next to the bed, the huge book shelf he just came through. He saw the balcony door, which was opened with the drapes flying in the wind. He noticed the pink carpet on the floor and the huge wardrobe next to Princess Bubblegum's bed.

However, Finn notice that the room's light kept on flickering and smoke was slowly building up. Finn's vision became blurry as he starting seeing the Ice King on the floor, badly hurt. He looked to the balcony and saw it was now destroyed along with half of the whole room. There was ice everywhere and the girls disappeared. He saw himself standing over the Ice King with a sword in hand ready to kill him. Soon enough the room transitioned from the pink décor to a completely frozen destroyed scene from a massive battle.

Finn saw himself getting ready to strike the Ice King down but then Princess Snowflake froze the sword. He saw them talk, but he could not hear what they were saying. Soon enough the other Finn pulled out a golden sword and along with it a golden flame that soon turned green. It went into his body and exploded, causing him to combust and burn completely.

Finn saw this and started to hear screaming, after some searching he realized he was screaming at his own death. He felt he was being shook by something and as he started to blink rapidly he was suddenly back at the regular pink room of the Princess.

"Finn! What is wrong!? What's going!?" Princess Bubblegum said while she and the girls hovered over Finn's sweating body. Finn was blinking uncontrollably trying to make sense of what he just saw, whether it actually happened or if he was hallucinating. Suddenly a knock was heard on the door, and behind it was a guard with Finn's new shirt. It was black with grey trims starting from the bottom of the shirt going up to the sleeves. Princess Bubblegum went to go get the shirt and sent the guard on his way.

"Finn, this has been happening ever since you woke up. I really think we need to run tests on you, something could be up." Princess Bubblegum said as she brought the shirt over to Finn who took it with care.

"Ya, Bonnie is right. Snow just finished telling us what happened at the hospital. Maybe you should go back." Marceline had suggested and without Finn noticing Princess Snowflake had sat down with him and put her hand on his shoulder.

"Do you remember what was going on while you were asleep? Do you think that has anything to do with these weird attacks? You just black out and started screaming and sweating like you were being attacked or something." The three girls were scared of what was going on.

"Look, I'm fine, I'm just still a little tired and dozed off and had a nightmare nothing major. Thanks for the shirt Peebes. I think I'll just go home and relax there." Finn as trying to calm down the girls, and since they all knew how stubborn he is, they convinced themselves that he will be ok. Finn and Princess Snowflake got up to get ready to go.

"By the way, Peebes, where is everyone else?" Finn had asked because he did not see Flame Queen or Jake and his family.

"Well seeing as how you were asleep for a good week after FQ brought you up, we all waited for you to wake up and then they left because they had to go take care of some things. They couldn't leave without knowing you were ok." Finn was happy at the response and decided to finally put on the shirt, which fit him perfectly. It was very flexible despite its stiff look. It also seem to not rid up his arm, even though the sleeves are somewhat short.

"Oh I forgot to mention that it stretches with you, so you can move however you want in it, just in case you didn't notice." Finn remembered one more thing he needed before he went.

"PB, where is my sword?" Princess Bubblegum had forgotten about the sword, and realized she had given the order to place it in the armory.

"Yeah, I put in the armory for safe keeping, seeing as how you have been spending more time in the kingdom. Just think it was easier to keep here if anything happened, you always have a sword waiting for you." Princess Bubblegum explained. Finn shook his head and went for the balcony, he was ready to leave and hopefully get some answers from Princess Snowflake. He breathed in some fresh air as he started to think about what was happening, and what were the images he kept on seeing.

"Well, Snow, let's get going. I do owe you a burrito don't I?" Finn said beckoning Princess Snowflake to him. She walked to him ready to go.
"Why not take marrow with you guys? Wouldn't it be faster that way?" Although Marrow belonged to Princess Bubblegum, Marceline had suggested this. Princess Bubblegum made a face that said 'why didn't I think of that?'

Finn and Snow gave each other a looked that expressed how much they wanted to ride on Marrow.
"Yeah that would be awesome!" They both said in unison.

"Okay, okay. Let me call him out." Princess Bubblegum went to the balcony and yelled out Marrow's name. In a few moments the huge bird appeared slightly below the balcony to pick up the two passengers. They said their goodbyes and Finn and Princess Snowflake jumped on the bird with glee. They went blasted off into the sky to head to the treehouse.

They were just enjoying the scenery in the sky, looking down on all the trees and inhabitants of Ooo. Princess Snowflake was sitting in front of Finn and smiling at all the different colors she was seeing.

"You know, even though I've been out of the cavern for a while now, I still haven't gotten used to the scenery, it's so lively and colorful and not," she paused looking for the right word," well icy" They bursted into laughter at the bad joke. They went back into a calm silence, however it was far from awkward, and they simply did not want to disturb the peace of the ride.

They reached the treehouse in less than ten minutes, they both realized just how fast the giant bird can go. Finn led Princess Snowflake into the house and then up the ladder to the actual living room. Before Finn could say anything, Princess Snowflake already started to make herself comfortable on the couch, laying down with her feet up and an arm under her head.

"Well someone is comfy. You know I hope making this burrito is worth it." Finn said while laughing with Princess Snowflake. He went into the kitchen to get the ingredients to make the Everything Burrito, something that always made a mess but its taste was always worth the huge mess. While getting the ingredients from the pantry and the fridge, Finn began to think about what was happening to him and what those weird images he kept on seeing meant. It was as if he had two lives, and one of them wasn't matching up with the other. He needed to find out what was going on.

Before he knew it, he finished the Everything Burrito as if his mind was on autopilot. He got Princess Snowflake something to drink and carried the food into the living room to see a sleeping Princess.

"For all this trouble she ends up falling sleep." Finn put down the food on the small table in front of the couch. He stared at her smiling, she was calm when she was asleep, a quality she doesn't always express when awake. He went up the stairs to find her a blanket and pillow from his room. Coming through he had more images come into his head, this time of two swords hidden under a plank in the floor. Finn, as he has been doing, ignored it and fetch the blanket and pillow. He quickly went back down to lift Princess Snowflake's head onto the pillow and to put the blanket on her back. Finn looked out a window to see it was getting dark out.

"Well, guess it was a long day, she must be tired from that race or something." Finn then began to think about what exactly she wants to hear from her. He wonders if anything she could tell him will help him at all.

"What exactly do I want to know from you?" Finn had mumbled as he had his hands over his mouth thinking of the things that kept on happening to him in the past few days. He remembers about the black tattoo of the flame on his chest, the scene with Ice King, Marceline getting captured, the swords, even the monster from his dream.

In his deep train of thought, he head Princess Snowflake mumble something in her sleep. Finn put his hands down trying to focus on what she was saying out of curiosity. However he still could not hear a thing she was saying, so he stood up and kneeled by her.

"Finn," she paused, causing Finn to become anxious at what she is going to say next, "I love you, don't go". This made Finn confused at what he was doing, and why everything the way it is. He has Flame Queen, but being with Princess Snowflake feels more natural to him. He became confused at everything that was going on and was completely lost at what to do next. He was certain about one thing, something is going on and he needs to find out what it is.

He yawns and decides it's best to just ask her some stuff tomorrow morning. He takes the Burrito and puts it in the fridge so it won't go bad. He heads up stairs to go to bed, and maybe he won't have another nightmare. He changed into his one piece pajamas that he never did outgrow and finally went to bed not seeing Jake. He figured he was at Lady's.

Not this place again, I hate this damn darkness. I think I'm going crazy over here.

'Finn'

What was that? Where are you!? Show yourself!

'You must remember'

Remember what?

'Who you are. Who we are'

Why do you look like me?

'Finn, you need to wake up, you have people to fight for'

Wait! Don't leave me! What is going on here!? Fuck you!

Finn woke up feeling groggy and rubbing his eyes. He got off the bed and stretched out to wake himself up slightly.

"Another damn dream huh?" He went to the bathroom to get cleaned up, and he went through the regular routine; brush teeth, clean face, and take a shower. When he went back into the room he brought out some fresh pants, regular cargo pants this time, some comfortable boots, and then his new shirt from Princess Bubblegum. Oddly enough he couldn't find his hat, so he played with his hair until it looked "wild" and not "unkempt". By the time he went for the door he had already heard Princess Snowflake begging for food.

"I'm coming, relax would ya?" he said while chuckling. For a girl, she eats so damn much Finn thought. He went down stairs to find Princess Snowflake patiently waiting for him to make breakfast on the dining table.

"What's for breakfast!?" She said already with a knife, fork, juice, and napkin prepared. Finn was dumbfound by how fast she acted. He ignored her slightly to get the Everything Burrito, since he still owed her that. He grabbed the plate and put it in the microwave for a minute. It quickly binged and he took it to Princess Snowflake quickly.

"Here I still owe you this from yesterday right?" Finn said as he put down the plate with the grand burrito.

"Oh yeah I completely forgot about this. Thanks Finn!" Finn realized he could had avoided a huge mess in the kitchen if he had only waited for the next day. He sighed in defeat.

"Well now that I made you the burrito, your turn to hold up the bargain." Finn was already exhausted from Princess Snowflake's energy and just wanted to find out something about him.

"Okay, what do you want to know first?" Before Finn could actually ask her something, the phone began to ring. This annoyed Finn as he was extrememly close to understanding more of his memories. He got up and picked up the phone reluctantly. Before he picked it up he felt a slight drop in temperature.

"Hello?" Finn had asked into the phone having a bad feeling.

"Finn! You need to get to the Kingdom now! Ice King is attacking!" Finn almost dropped the phone as he remembered the scene he envisioned in Princess Bubblegum's room. He clenched his teeth and said "We're coming". He hung up the phone and look at Princess Snowflake.

"Snow, your dad is attacking the Kingdom, and things are not looking good, we need to go now." Snow's face dropped at the news she just received, she obviously did not want to face her father. She got up and put her shoes on and went on without Finn. Finn had thought he saw he begin to cry.

"This won't end well, will it?" Finn ran and jumped down the ladder into the treasury room to see the door already left opened with ice left around it. Finn ran outside and saw Princess Snowflake just standing there waiting for him.

"Snow-"

"Come one, we gotta help everyone else right?" Finn just nodded his head and walked up to Princess Snowflake. She grabbed his arms and started to fly up to the kingdom. She went as fast as she could to the kingdom, trying to hold back her tears, something that was obvious to Finn, who could say nothing and just let her be.

Going through the grasslands, Finn continued to notice the temperature drop albeit it being a gradual and small one.

"Snow! Something is happening, it's getting colder and colder!" Finn suddenly said causing Princess Snowflake's to widen her eyes in shock.

"I know! Look at the Kingdom, it's being frozen!" Finn looked ahead and began to see a white scene. He saw a whole kingdom covered in ice and snow. Princess Snowflake begins to speed up to get to the kingdom as soon as possible.

Going at her top speed, Princess Snowflake finally made it to the kingdom walls in a few minutes. There they saw the giant guardian fighting a small figure in the sky, and it was losing.

"Finn! The Princess is looking for you in the armory! Go now, we need all the hands we can get!" Finn started running across the walls with Snow without even having to talk. Finn jumped down and Princess Snowflake made a slide of ice to allow him to get on the ground safely. When he landed he went to call out for Princess Snowflake, but she called out first.

"Finn! Go ahead and meet up with PB, you need your weapons! I'll help out here!" Finn knew he didn't have time to argue so he just went ahead for the armory. Going through the city he saw himself running in front of him, he had two swords with him and he was going straight for the castle. After a few minutes of running he saw the image of himself disappear.

He finally made it to the barracks where Banana guards were stationed and preparing different plans of attack. He found the entrance to the armory and directly inside he saw Princess Bubblegum and three general planning over a table. When he opened the door they immediately noticed him.

"Finn! Go down the hall and the first door to the right is your armory. Get whatever you need and come back. The Ice King is going crazy, we need to stop him before he freezes everything." Finn nodded his head and followed her directions. He opened a door to reveal a small room filled with several weapons of all shapes and sizes, from swords to maces to axes and halberds. There were full light armor sets in the corners along with small bombs. In the back of the room there were two swords that were hung on the wall, Ethereal Darkness and Dyrnwyn.

"These are beautiful." Finn was at a loss for words at these two majestic swords. They seemed so natural to him. One was a pure black sword with a single curved edge with etchings on the blade. The whole handle was made of some bone material, swirl in an intrinsic design forming the large pommel, the thinner hilt, and then finally a thicker guard with an emblem of some demonic face along with two prongs to the side. The bone material then slithered up the blade until it reached the etchings.

The other was more elegant and regal. It was a double edge rapier with a red leather hilt. The pommel was a gold circle with a six sided star in the center of it. The guard, the same gold of the pommel, of the hilt was to the right side in the shape of a phoenix, with the body facing out and the wing connected the body of the sword. Two prongs pointed to both sides with semicircle structures connected to a diamond shape plate connected to the blade with a red crystal in the middle of it.

Finn saw a scene of Flame Queen telling him a story of the golden sword. The only part he could make out was "those that use this blade for righteous purposes will be granted a great power of a divine flame but should their intentions be evil and impure, the sword will punish them by igniting them in a flame cloaked in their evilness."

Finn gulped when he heard this line, but felt that these swords were calling him, so he grabbed them both. He tied Ethereal Darkness to his waist and Dyrnwyn to his back. He quickly picked up some bombs and went out the armory and met up with the Princess and her generals. He had a very bad feeling about all of this.

"Finn…" Princess Bubblegum had hesitated to continue what she was going to say but one of her generals had urged her on.

"We need you to fight the Ice King but" she hesitated once more, "your brother had already gotten here before you, and he hasn't come back from fighting him. He was fighting alongside the guardian, but we haven't heard anything from him and things aren't looking that good out there." Suddenly a banana guard bursted through the door to deliver an urgent message to the generals and the princess.

"Princess! Generals! The Guardian is down, and the Ice King seems to have gone to the top of the castle. He has frozen the entrance but we have Princess Snowflake working on a way to get us all inside without being noticed for an ambush."

"I understand, Finn is going to be on his way" she looked at Finn and back at the guard," he is going to fight the Ice King. Finn you are the only hope we have left, he is going berserk." Finn understood this and knew he needed to stop this before people are killed.

"Princess, were the civilians evacuated?" Princess Bubblegum shook her head.

"Yes, when we saw signs of him coming we made preparations to evacuate, there are no civilians in the kingdom walls." Finn ran out the door hearing this. Outside in the cold warzone he saw the Guardian lying on his back, the walls destroyed from the battle, and many injured soldier, all from one man, the Ice King. Finn felt so familiar with a scene very similar to this, he kept seeing scattered images of something like this very battle. He had another flash of people frozen in place, stuck in their daily errands as if they were frozen in the blink of an eye. The castle was frozen inside out and it emitted an eerie yet calm atmosphere that one could fall in love with. This flash was short, and he was happy it was, he needed to focus.

Finn began to run to the castle to try to assist with the ambushing attempts. Then he remembered another passageway, usually that passageway is forbidden unless it is the Princess herself using it, therefore it is under constant surveillance. Finn figured no one would be watching that passageway, and this way it would be safer if he only fought the Ice King, and no one else would have a risk of getting hurt.

He started to run to the hospital, which was nearby the barracks. It was getting difficult for Finn to actually run because so much snow was accumulating on the ground. Although it did take him longer than what he wanted, he finally made it to the hospital, now all he had to do was get to the garden and find the manhole.

The hospital was anything but empty as there were guards going in and out the doors due to injuries and trying to get rid of all this ice. Most are heading towards the castle the get inside and ambush the Ice King. He went to the side of the hospital to see the garden, now covered in snow. He could only see the bench, which was put right in front of the manhole. He walked to the bench, kicking snow along the way. He continued to do this until he found the frozen manhole cover.

"How the hell am I going to break this open?" He began to kick it and punch it, and of course it was not the most pleasant thing he could had done. He decided to try one of the bombs and he hoped it won't blow up the whole area. He grabbed one and realized he had no idea how to use it, as there was no pin or button to activate it.

"Maybe it explodes on impact?" He decided to pile some snow around the manhole in hopes to dampen the blast. He back up behind the bench, aimed, and threw the bomb at the manhole, causing a small explosion. The snow around the manhole was gone, however there was no shrapnel. It was not a grenade but more like an impact bomb that only uses small explosions to cause damage.

"That was actually kind of convenient." Finn walk to the hole and saw that the passageway was still kept in contact. He jumped down to see a more modern passageway, clean white walls with fluorescent lights. He ran through this passage for a few minutes until reached a dead end.

"What the hell is this?" He check the wall to find there was no button or switch on the wall. Finn looked around him to find something to help him out. He wanted to try out another bomb and see if it'll blow a hole in the wall. He backed up a few feet, picked a bomb from his pockets, aimed, and threw it at the door. After a quick explosion he saw not a single scratch was put on the white wall. In anger, he ran up to it and started to hit it.

"Damn you! By this time I could be in the castle by now! Open dammit!" At that moment he heard static and a robotic voice come on.

"Audio command activate. Operator: Finn the Human. Full Clearance." Steam started to leak from the wall and Finn backed up. The wall opened up to reveal a two pads, one on the floor and one on the ceiling.

"Location?" The robotic voice asked Finn. Although Finn was surprised to say the least, he quickly regain his composure.

"Um inside the castle?"

"Which floor?" the robotic voice asked once more. Finn knew he could easily use this to help him out.

"Top!" A green light flashed between the two lights creating a green stream of energy. Finn was hesitant at first but soon went through to only be teleported to darkness.

"I'm getting really tired of this crap! Open!" As if magic the wall receded into the ground to reveal the very top of the castle that was covered in the most snow. Over in the distance, close to the edge, he saw Jake fighting Ice King. Jake was looking over the Ice King who was lying on the ground. Finn could see Jake badly wounded covered with cuts and blood. He was taken by happiness that his brother was alright.

"JAKE!" He yelled as he began to run to his brother. When he heard this, Jake turned to Finn and smile and started to limp towards him with a smile on his busted face. He broke into a sprint to reach his brother and hugged him with all his strength.

"Jake! Thank god you're okay." He looked at him more closely this time to see he was in worse shape than he thought," well relatively good anyway. We need to get you to a doctor man."

"Yeah, I know. He wasn't as easy to beat as last time, he went crazy Finn but I got him. I needed to be a hero too." Jake put his hand on Finn's head and rubbed his hair.

"Let's go-"Suddenly Jake was impaled by an ice shard in his neck cutting his sentence off. His bulging eyes looked down as he began to panic and choke on his blood. He quickly tried to grab the ice out of his neck and stop the rapid bleeding but he was failing. He slumped down and fell to his knees. Finn fell back in terror as he saw his brother bleed out in pain and die in a matter of second. His face was splattered with his brother's blood.

Finn began to shed tears of fear, agony, and sadness at the horrific scene. His lips were quivering on the verge of his wailing like a child. He couldn't take his eyes off the dead body of his brother surrounded by the red snow. He began to sniffle and almost cry as he saw the Ice King stand up.

"That is what happens when you get in my way Jake!" His eyes did not resemble a sane man. His movements seemed erratic along with his crazing laughter. He stopped when he finally noticed Finn.

"Oh? Another hero comes to stop me? Finn, you should had stood home child." Finn's sadness was soon replaced with a burning rage forcing his legs to finally work and push himself up from the cold floor. His nose flared and his eyebrows arched down he then bared his teeth at the murderer. He grabbed Ethereal Darkness and drew it from its hilt.

"ICE KING! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!" He immediately had a vision of him fighting the Ice King on the top of the castle using Ethereal Darkness, only this time he killed off Jake and Lady Rainicorn. He saw how he used the sword and its abilities. He saw the waves of black energy that he released and the way he would go into the floor using the darkness. This caused him to know exactly how to use to sword and master it in an instant. He started to swing the sword at the Ice King, each time shoot off black waves of energy. They all made contact, melting away the snow and creating a black smoke surrounding the area that Finn attacked.

He was breathing heavy after such a rapid assault. While the smoke was clearing, he heard laughter and saw that it was coming from the Ice King himself. He took in one last breath to continue the fight for he knew it was nowhere near over,

"Seems like the hero still has some kick in him. You're going to have to try harder than that to stop me Finn! I will get what is mine!" Finn ignored him and disappeared into a ball of darkness, confusing the Ice King. He looked around him to try to locate the stealthy hero. He was confused at what was happening, and almost started to leave the scene. But then Finn came from the ground form a black circle and punched him in the stomach. This caused the Ice King to lose his breath and become stun. Finn planted his right foot further form his body and swung with all his might at the Ice King's stomach. However he quickly gained his senses created an ice shield to block the attack. However the force of the attack pushed the shield at the Ice King and threw him to the ground about 15 feet away from him.

Finn didn't give him time to get back up as he rushed towards him and jumped on him to stab his chest. The Ice King quickly shot an ice bolt at Finn throwing him back and freezing his sword and his hands together. The Ice King got up and started to laugh manically. He jumped back to his feet. Then a black surge of energy was accumulating in the ice, causing it to burst with his hand and sword intact.

"It's gonna take more than that to stop me, you asshole." Finn went back into his circle of darkness to try to surprise the Ice King, however he was more aware of Finn's methods this time around. He looked around ready for him this time. When Finn came up from under the Ice King, Ice king dodged the sword and grabbed Finn's neck, slamming him to the floor.

"Are you running out of tricks already Finn!?" The Ice King brought up his hand with an ice shard in it ready to impale Finn. Finn just smile and went into his pocket.

"Not even close old man!" Finn grabbed a bomb from his pocket and smashed it into Ice King's head causing a small explosion. Ice King yelled in agony and grabbed the side of his face that Finn just exploded. Finn's hand was covered in darkness to protect him from the blast, but his hearing in his right ear was damaged and he did burn his head, but he ignored the pain.

He let go of his face after a few moments to realize it was badly burnt, most mostly saved from his ice powers as ice was already forming over the burnt flesh and the scared eye. He snarled at Finn shooting bolts of ice at him. Finn dodge the first two but blocked the third one freezing Ethereal Darkness.

"Looks like you're the one that-"Finn saw another bolt fire at him faster than the others and he instinctively blocked it with his sword. This was proven to be a grave mistake as it shattered the blade Ethereal Darkness into many pieces like diamond dust. Finn's eyes opened with surprised as he looked at the now destroyed blade.

"Damn that blasted blade! Now I won't play with you child. Now you die." The Ice king's crazed smile was erased from his face. He began to slowly walk to Finn to continue his attacks. Finn didn't let him come any closer; he dug into his pants and counted his bombs left and he counted three. He grabbed one and threw it, and repeated this two more times, each hitting the Ice King. He rushed towards him as fast as he possibly could. The Ice King pushed the smoke out of his face and yelled like a wild animal only to be punched in the face by Finn as hard as he could.

The Ice King managed to make a small ice shield, while it did cushion the strike, it shattered causing the hit to connect. Finn continued his barrage of punches to the Ice King's face and stomach ending with a spinning kick to the Ice King's face.

"Stay down you fucking bastard!" Finn turned from the body of the Ice King and walked away from it only hear something rush at him. He quickly turned to see spikes coming from the ground that he quickly dodged. Ice King was standing, just barely, with his hand outstretched and panting as he was out of breath. Finn too was using a lot of energy going full on like he has been doing. He knew that the battle won't end well if he doesn't do something soon. He knew he only had one choice; use Dyrnwyn.

As he went to clutch the hilt of the golden sword he heard a voice of a female. He turned around to see Princess Snowflake had managed to reach the top of the castle, something he wanted to avoid.

"Snow! Go back I got this!" Finn pulled out Dyrnwyn and with it a golden flame. He was in awe at the divine flame. He looked at the weak Ice King who was far from impressed and charged at him. He swung the blade and with it a trail of fire followed hitting the Ice King, making his ice shield powerless. He continued this four more times until the Ice King was on his knees and Finn was over his weak body.

"This is for my brother you sick son of a bitch!" He raised the sword and stabbed the Ice King through his throat. He twisted his hand and grabbed the hilt again, swinging it in a circular motion, severing the Ice King's head, leaving only a small portion of flesh still connecting the head to the body. He had gotten blood on his shirt and the pure white snow was soaking all the red liquid, becoming a blood ice. He swung his sword making the excess blood fling off and hit the ground.

Finn started to turn to Snowflake to confront her after killing her father.

"Snow I'm-"Finn grunted in pain as he saw Princess Snowflake in front of him smiling evilly. He felt a great pressure in his stomach so he looked down slowly. He saw he hand in his stomach; she had stabbed him and wasn't letting him go. Finn was blinking uncontrollably and was having difficulties breathing. He looked back at Princess Snowflake to see half of her face as the face of the flame demon. He then regain all of his true memories and the flashes he was having made sense.

"You failed Finn," said the Flame Demon, still with Princess Snow's body," you must learn Child!" He then combusted Finn into flames causing him to scream in excruciating pain. Finn closed his eyes quickly and when he opened them he saw the blue sky and he was in a open casket. He turned his head to see citizens of the Candy Kingdom. He tried talking and reaching out to them

"Make it stop, help me" His voice was too small for anyone to her but then he hear Princess Bubblegum rush to his side and call for help.

"Guards he isn't dead, get a medic, he need treatment now!" He found some energy in him to raise his voice and yell as powerful as he could.

"HELP ME! PLEASE! MAKE IT STOP!" Finn was finally heard by all the people in the distance. Princess Bubblegum looked at him in terror and worry as more people rushed to his side. However he felt something start to pull him down into something.

"Where do you think you're going, Finn?" The Flame Demon pulled Finn's soul back into that Hellish world yet another time.
