AY, I know this chapter is a short filler chap, but that's becaaaause, all this SHIT goes down next chapter. This story'll prolly be over in about 4 more chapters, so pace yourself! This is pretty much just to let you guys know I'm not dead and to expect updates, EVEN IF IT TAKES MONTHS... which it usually does. Not because of any type of forethought or planning, I'm just really fucking lazy.

"This has been the best day of my life."

Sebastian sat there running his mind over the words, over the gentle and slightly embarrassed way that they were spoken. The raven smiled to himself and moved the hand that rested over his eyes and dragged it up through his hair. Ciel... Just what are you trying to do to me?

The two sat in the hospital's waiting room on the soft red chairs that aligned the wall. Ciel was fast asleep, his head lying on Sebastian's shoulder and a thin linen blanket covering his wet body. On the maple end table next to each of them, two paper cups of hot chocolate sat half-empty and forgotten.

Sebastian tried to remember the best day of his life. He closed his eyes and thought hard. However, the only scenes tied to joy were the ones within the past few weeks he had spent with Ciel. The boy's change from cold and hateful as he slowly warmed up to Sebastian. The blush written across his alabaster skin... The teasing way in which they touched. Surely, this is what happiness feels like. Finally, he had found it.

Sebastian let his heavy eyelids close as he left the hospital room and was submerged into a light, dreamless sleep.

It was Ciel who woke up first, quickly remembering where he was and what had occurred the night before. The hospital was now more crowded, other people occupying the seats in the room where they sat. Ciel looked at each face, the worry etched onto their features. He had only been to a hospital once before, the day before he and his mother went into hiding. He remembered how the smell of death had unnerved him, and how the light sterile scent that laced it had given him a headache. How the same look on these people's faces now had been written across the face of his mother. He found himself suddenly wanting to leave.

The boy shook Sebastian awake and insisted that they leave. They thanked the nurse who had given them hot chocolate to warm them last night, folded the blanket, left it on the front desk and left. Outside, it looked as if the apocalypse had hit. There were abandoned, broken in cars. Spraypaint murals on the front of respectable businesses.

The two wound through the serpentine maze of cars until they found the one that they had arrived in. The tires had been slashed, the windows broken, and scratches embedded deep into the sides of it. Sebastian regretted buying new dishes only to have their transport destroyed, but he didn't mind too much considering the events were well worth it.

"So, are we walking home then?" Ciel asked running his finger over a particularly deep gash that ran into the fiberglass door of the shiny vehicle.

"I could call a cab, I guess." Sebastian said pulling out his cellphone then recalling that he had been pulled into the pool with the object still in his pocket.

"Or.. not." He second guessed himself.

"It's fine, you don't live far." Ciel said, shivering in the cold. The white sun was lined with silver clouds, basically interrupting any sort of heat that could have warmed them after the night's escapades.

"Wait." The raven muttered as he glanced at his surroundings, finally spotting a crowbar on the ground outside of dumpster.

"What is it?" The boy questioned, attempting to follow Sebastian's line of sight.

Sebastian gather the bar and came to back to the car. Wedging it into the place between the trunk and bumper, wagging it up and down three times and on the third he threw his arms down deliberately. The trunk gave way and the teen threw the crowbar to the ground and gathered the boxes of dishes that lay inside.

"Better to save ourselves another trip." Sebastian explained and handed off one of the boxes to Ciel.

"Clever." Ciel mumbled, still slightly surprised at the simplicity Sebastian displayed of breaking into the car. Ciel had tried to do the same, multiple times before and found it nearly impossible to crack open. He had only managed to do damage the paint and bend the metal that held the trunk in place.

The two set out for the apartment, walking close together and admiring the art on the brick buildings around them. A perfect likeness of a naked woman's body had been painted on the front glass window of a respectable hat store, causing the two a decent subject for conversation.

Upon arriving, the couple rode the elevator up to Sebastian's floor. Happy to be back in the visual arts masterpiece of a home, Ciel slammed his body onto the couch and lied there, inhaling the light perfume of the fine leather. Sebastian chuckled softly to himself and sat on the arm of the furniture.

"You can't go beck to sleep yet. You still have to bathe and eat."

"Bathing is for the weak." Ciel muttered against the fine material of the seat.

"Ah!" Ciel squeaked as he was picked up unexpectedly from his place and carried princess style into the bathroom. Ciel beat against Sebastian's chest futilely as he complained, none of which reached the selective ears of the raven who dropped him finally onto the closed toilet seat.

Ciel pouted as Sebastian began running him bath water and pouring varying products into it.

"Sebastian. If I take a bath, will you bring me food?" The boy muttered, finally speaking.

"I'll bring you anything you require." The teen smiled and bowed deeply, one hand on his chest. Ciel smirked.

"Oh really?"

"Really." Sebastian nodded.

"Factually?"

"Sure as I stand before you." He gestured with both of hands to display his placement.

Ciel smirked and beckoned the other with his finger, drawing him forward. Sebastian got on one knee before the boy and Ciel moved his face forward until the two nearly touched. The phantom lidded his eye and sucked in a sultry breath that made Sebastian swallow as he carried unblinking eye contant.

"Cheesecake filling." The boy whispered hotly against Sebastian's tempted lips.

"What?" Sebastian asked, not comprehending the words, just staring at that boy's face.

"I want cheesecake filling and fruit. Go. Oh, and tea. Black tea. Okay. Quickly, get out." He said eagerly, backing his face from Sebastian's.

Sebastian stood and remained for a moment, grudgingly contemplating the task. "As you wish." He finally decided to say, somewhat depressed he didn't even get to sample those lips before the order was given.

When Sebastian left Ciel stripped his clothes and stopped the bathwater, climbing into the steaming tub. He felt himself melt into the smooth water that felt like warm silk on his cold skin and unintentionally moaned at the action. Grabbing a rag from the drawer next to the tub, ciel poured a generous amount of soap onto it and began washing himself.

The raven returned sometime later, carrying a plate that had a pile of cheesecake filling surrounded by a collection of succulent looking grapes and strawberries as well as a saucer with a glass of black tea in the middle all balanced on a wooden tray.

Ciel looked up and dropped the rag into the water. Sebastian knelt down next to the tub and floated the tray upon it. Ciel eagerly began eating and Sebastian took a seat there on the floor and sat stilly, waiting for Ciel to finish so he could collect his dishes.

"So, you have that date with Alois today."

"I don't want to talk about Alois." Ciel immediately responded after swallowing the food in his mouth.

"Oh? And what do you want to talk about?" Sebastian questioned.

Ciel was silent for while as Sebastian examined him. The boy dipped his strawberry into the filling and rather than biting it as he rose it to his lips, he licked it and speared the cream across his tongue before turning to the raven. Sebastian regarded his with curiosity until Ciel stuck his tongue out and pointed to his with his eyebrows raised.

Slapped in the face with arousal, Ciel didn't have to put into words what he wanted him to do. Their previous agreement had turned into a silent signal and the thought made Sebastian smirk. He wasted no time taking that sweet tongue into his mouth. He knew this would end badly as he was unable to do anything, really, out of fear of making the boy uncomfortable. But to kiss him was enough. Knowing that that body was bare under the cover of the water, however, made Sebastian's willpower thin.

"Mmmnn." Ciel moaned contently as Sebastian rolled his tongue into the boy's mouth. The boy had his eyes shut tight and his hand clenching the edge of the tub as he let Sebastian do what he pleased.

The two breathed heavily through their noses as they refused to move apart. The kiss was sloppy and wet, without even a bit of holding back. Sebastian regretted acting on his impulses after all as he felt himself get aroused. Ciel would never let anything happen, and he would only end up hurting as he restrained himself and did nothing for his own release. For days he could feel his need building, completely neglected.

Sebastian pulled back from the kiss and tried to calm himself down, breathing in deeply through his nose. Ciel noted the way that it flared and wondered if the older was irritated with him. Looking into his lap, the boy waited for Sebastian to speak.

"Are you done?" He asked breathlessly and Ciel looked back up at him confusedly. Sebastian obviously cared for him greatly, but what was this feeling like he'd done something wrong. Perhaps it would ease his worries if the other at least looked at him.

"What?" Ciel muttered dazedly.

"With the food, are you done?" Sebastian said tensely, looking right past Ciel, at the wall behind him.

"Oh, um, I-" Ciel's words were interrupted as Sebastian grabbed the tray and left the room.

Once in the hall, Sebastian sat against the wall and set the tray unceremoniously on the ground. He put his head in his hand and brought his hand down to rub himself softly through his pants. That was the worst part. Sebastian knew he could relieve the problem himself, but he feared firstly, being caught in such a situation. Also, he imagined how amazing it would be when Ciel finally gave in to the temptation... How incredible it would feel after all this time. He had already broken down and done it once, which he hadn't planned on.

The teen bit his lip and clasped it tightly between his teeth, rubbing himself once again through his pants, slowly, agonizingly so.

Meanwhile Ciel sat in the tub, anxious and stressed at the other's behavior. It wasn't really that he cared if Sebastian was mad at him. If he was than it would be stupid, because he did nothing wrong. But that's what bothered him. What was the reason?

With a frustrated sigh, Ciel stood from the water and wrapped a towel around his body. After whipping away the condensation from the mirror and giving himself a once over, he left the bathroom and walked through the now-empty hall, to Sebastian's bedroom. There he collected the most comfortable of day clothes he could find, considering he wanted to take a nap and didn't want to look any type of attractive on his 'date' with Alois. The idea made him grimace and he layed across the bed dressed in a baggy pair of Sebastian's sweat pants, boxers, and a white tank top that hugged his body. Even the bleach-white color was only a shade lighter than the boy's skin. From there he fell asleep, an annoyance on his mind knitting his brows together even in unconsciousness.

As Sebastian entered the room, he saw the figure lying with a little pout on his pert lips. The image made him smile and he immediately collected a Polaroid camera from a drawer, quiet as not to wake the boy and snapped a photo of that cute expression. Looking back between the photo in his hand and at Ciel's face, he realized it was the only photo he had of him. The boy who could make himself disappear and he hardly had any proof of his existence at all. What would he do? How would he react if he woke up one morning without Ciel by his side. He hadn't been there for long. It would be as if he was never there at all.

With a bit of sadness burrowing beneath his skin, he vowed to take more pictures from now on, then slipped the photo into his pants pocket.

"If only you knew Ciel." He muttered to himself, staring at that small body, slumped against his bed.

"How much I care about you."

Sebastian walked up to the edge of mattress and leaned over, ghosting his lips over the frown on the boy's lips.

"Never disappear."

The words were foggy, and muddled somehow into Ciel's subconscious and even like this, comfortable, safe, and happy, that the words were a request he wouldn't be able to fulfill in the end.
