Author's Note: I've greatly been in the mood for writing this story, so hence this one is getting the most updates. Now, for the past 2 chapters I think I forgot to reply to some people.

Replies to reviews:

- James Birdsong: Thank you! :)

- Steph557: I'm actually really honored to hear that, thanks! I've just been writing Alois from the perspective I've always seen him. He's just so misunderstood, but yeah. He went through a lot of shit and because of it he was never given the proper love, so his version of it is twisted. Hopefully though Summer and Hannah can help him with it. ;) As for what's going on in the manga, I feel ya. Especially the latest chapters.

Summer Blake: The Demon Slayer

Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler Fanfiction

The Fading Summer

Ciel had sent a doctor over to the Phantomhive estate to help monitor Summer if there was any chance of helping the poor girl. The young earls and Phantomhive servants were surprised when the demons returned with an unconscious Summer who has heavily breathing in Cian's arms.

Hannah and Sebastian had explained to them that when Claude gave her the back injury, he had sent a slow working poison into her body that was now starting to kill her. They weren't sure how long she had to survive.

Alois had lost his head with fright over the news. "No, Summer. I can't lose you too!" He ran over, sobbing at her beside despite the fact she couldn't hear him. "Please, hang in there. I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"

"My young Highness." Hannah said, going to comfort the poor boy. He still wasn't entirely comfortable with her and ended up pushing her away.

"Is Claude dead at least?" Ciel asked Sebastian.

The butler nodded, a wicked smile crawling onto his lips. "Yes, my lord."

The doctor finished his exam on Summer and came over to tell the others her condition. "It appears the young girl has overexerted herself, especially since that injury on her back isn't healing properly. She's gotten an infection and requires the proper medication and rest!"

"Will she be alright, though?" Alois asked, frantic.

The uncertain frown the doctor gave him didn't comfort him. It sent a chill in the room. "It's hard to tell right now. She's in really bad shape, there maybe a chance. For now, we should just let her rest and try to heal." The doctor looked to Ciel before leaving. "I'll send the medication for her at once, my lord."

Ciel nodded. "Thank you Doctor."

Once he shut the door, the tense emotions were released as Cian, who was sitting at her bedside, stomped his foot on the ground. "Damnit!"

Alois, who was acting like a confused little kid, went back to Summer's side and grabbed her hand. It was slightly warm and cold. Why was it like that? She seemed fine when she woke up earlier today. So why was she unconscious now? It wasn't fair! "Shel'll get better...she has to!"

Cian was losing his mind with all this. Why couldn't they all just face up the the fucking facts already?! "No, you don't get it! That bastard has done it. She's going to be dead in a couple of hours as long as we keep sitting here and trying your stupid, basic, human methods! She needs to go back home to her time with modern stuff and have Jasper help her!" The young demon gave a sad look her way. "It's the only chance she has now."

"Jasper is her watcher, correct?" Sebastian asked. Cian nodded. "Then he should know how to cure the demon poison from her hopefully before it causes even more damage."

Suddenly the doors to the room burst open as they were interrupted by the surprise of the Midford siblings who had come to visit today. Edward ran straight into the room after hearing from Tanaka that something had happened to Summer. "Summer, where is she? Is she okay?"

He looked to see her unconscious on the bed. Elizabeth came in running behind him and stopped in the doorway, shocked. This was bad, really bad. Edward felt his heart drop as he slowly walked over to her.

And just as he did, Summer began to jerk uncontrollably, starting to have a seizure. "Fuck! No, no, no." Cian said, going straight to her side to hold her down. "I need to get her back home, now. It's getting worse!" Once she was done with her attack, Cian picked her up and carried her out of the room, with Sebastian following behind.

"W-What's wrong with her?" Edward asked, trying to follow.

Sebastian turned around, stopping him in the doorway. "Sorry Lord Edward, but you should stay here with your sister, Lord Trancy and the young master." He then closed the door, causing Edward to feel angry and confused. Why wasn't anyone telling him anything?! The Midford son turned to his cousin, demanding an explanation.

"Apparently, Miss Blake got a very bad infection and needs to go back home to receive the proper treatment." He explained, not really lying about the situation at hand.

"W-Will she be back?" Edward asked.

Ciel shrugged. "I'm not sure."

This caused Edward to run out of the room and to find Summer. At least he should say goodbye if this was his last chance of ever seeing her again. He must have ran down the hallway looking into many different rooms and he found the one...and the sight that was before him left him highly confused at what he had just saw.

Cian had carried Summer into a blue vortex of sorts and then they were gone. He was left to question it as Sebastian turned around, smirking.

Just outside the manor, deep in the forest awaited a grim reaper who was reading from his book of death. The name that was just recently on it had now disappeared, but yet, it left him in question and awe. There was no mistaking the name he had just seen.

"Ah...it all makes sense now." Ronald said, smiling.

A/N: Sorry this chapter is short, but it's because it's leading into a completely different arc and oh boy, this is when it all starts to get juicy. Is anyone catching onto my grand master plan yet? Heh heh.

Next chapter we get to see what Summer's home is like in the 21st century and how everything all adds up. I've honestly been waiting to write this part up. :D
