Happy reading. Review!

I dont own Hp just my characters.

Days were flowing by, like sand in an hour glass. There was tension, O.W.L preparations, pranks, and tautness. The fifth years were growing crazy about their O. , sixth and seventh years about their N.E.W.T , mostly the seventh years; as it was their last Halloween feast. Even the first years were feeling the stress; first years like Lily Evans, Kenneth Justice, Sylvia Benson and Remus Lupin.

But the 'smart' ones, couldn't care less! James, Dawn, Sirius and Peter carelessly roamed the giant castle, marking everywhere they went, intending on creating a map of Hogwarts, as Remus shook his head in dismay.

'You should learn!' he said.

'But the exams are ages away! Chillax!' Dawn yawned as the five of them sat in the Gryffindor Common Room lazily, well all except for Remus.

'Yeah, Remus. Relax.' Sirius stretched, as Remus raised his eye brows at him.

'So I should suppose that both of you are done with the Transfiguration essay McGonagall gave us to write, and not to mention the theory of Sir Thomas Drelling?'

'What theory?' James asked, clearly bored.

Remus frowned in surprise and annoyance, 'Ooof! The theory by Drelling that stated " in a duel, by studying the expression of the opponent, you can find out the spell they are going to use." Remember?'

Dawn rubbed her eyes, 'You are talking about Defence Against the Dark Arts?' Remus's eyes widened.

'Yeah… that's a stupid theory. If it were up to me, I would have used legimency instead of going through the trouble of studying expressions. Besides, since his pointless theory is famous in the whole world, wouldn't have every wizard or witch by now figured out the alternate solution? Huh?' Sirius said, as he winked at Dawn who wiped her lips with her pink tongue to keep herself from laughing.

James didn't even try to hold his laughter in. Remus groaned, ' Oh, seriously. That man lived a millennium ago!'

'If that is the case, why should we care?' Dawn said dryly.

'Because this theory has help-'

'So you are saying this is History?' James inquired.

'Yes-'

'Then why are we learning this in the Defence Against the Dark Arts?' Sirius smirked.

Remus sighed, 'Why are we even having this conversation?' he said hopelessly.

'You started it-'

'Dawn? Dawn Potter?'

Dawn groaned as she looked up to see a first year Gryffindor boy walking up to them. 'What?' she said, deadpanned.

The boy raised his eye brows, as Dawn didn't even bother to recoil from the surprised look he gave her.

'What?' She said, glaring at him.

'Kenneth, hey! How are you buddy?' Sirius said, as he stood up and play fully slapped Kenneth's thigh.

'Sirius.' He nodded with a firm, but pleasant expression. At least better than the glare he gave Dawn. 'Um, Dawn Professor McGonagall's looking for you.'

'Me? Why me?' Dawn said, forgetting her anger and annoyance at him.

'Wreck your mind, little Devil. You have done something you can't remember, and it's bad!' Sirius said dramatically, as she rolled her eyes.

'But seriously though, why?'

'You kind of destroyed the Slytherin Common Room.' Kenneth said.

'What? But we did that weeks ago! They can't suspend me for it. Really, is that why she is looking for me?' Dawn frowned.

'No… well I am not sure. Maybe not, but yesterday you blew the whole common room. Earlier, you just blasted a dungbomb. Even Myrtles bathroom flooded because of the explosion.'

'Not my problem!' Dawn said, carelessly flipping her hair.

'Why don't you tell that to McGonagall?' Kenneth raised his eye brow. Dawn looked at him curiously, corners of her lips twitching, hinting a small smirk.

'Is that a challenge?' she said in her most heroic manner, as James rolled his eyes and Kenneth groaned.

'No-'

'Yes or No?' Dawn raised her eyebrow, stood up and walked over dramatically towards Kenneth. The poor boy, confused, shook his head.

'No-'

'Yes it is.' She said, grinning at James and Sirius cheekily. Kenneth sighed, Peter laughed and Remus shook his head.

'Not my problem, Professor McGonagall.' Dawn said, flipping her hair melodramatically.

Professor McGonagall stared at Dawn as if she had completed her essay on time. Her shocked expression was priceless!

Probably because no has stood up to her ever, Dawn had a sly grin on her face.

'But , what isn't your problem?' Professor McGonagall inquired.

Dawn frowned, then realized, oh so she is playing the surprised card, huh? That's not a good sign. So she decided to not play anymore games and to give in. 'Well, Professor. I know you called me here to tell me about my vendettas against the Slytherins yesterday-'

'Was that you, Potter?'

'Yeah. As I was saying, and Myrtle's bathroom –' Dawn paused. 'Uh-oh.'

'Oh dear, what am I to do with you?'

'Why did you call me here? '

'Explain yourself. Right. Now.' McGonagall scolded in her shrill voice.

'Ah, geez. Relax. Okay I'll speak.' Dawn said shaking her head, her ears covered. She told Professor McGonagall about how Lucius threatened her when her and James at Madam Malkins Robes and how Snape was the reason James could never EVER get together with Evans- also she hated green.

Professor McGonagall stared at her as if to say- Are you okay? Or in a bit harsher tone, What the fudge are you yapping all about? ' . These details are not reasonable. I am afraid you will have to serve detention.'

'With whom?'

'Me. Saturday, my office. 6:30 am. Yes, six-thirty as in, in the morning. Also I will dock 100 points from my house for your insolent behavior. I didn't expect this from you, Potter.'

Dawn gulped, and bit back a sassy remark. She felt like punching Evans and Snape. And Malfoy, just for the sake of 'friendship'. She couldn't believe how could she get caught. It was a total rupture for her pride. She nodded and made her best sorry face. 'I am sorry, I will behave. I promise, that I will try to be more responsible and…' Dawn trailed.

'Good, now scurry along. Come on, go.'

Then in a light whisper, she added, '… cautious about my plans of dominating Hogwarts.' Then she grinned at McGonagall and rushed back into the Common Room. 'Evans and Snape goodluck!'

Lily's POV

I stood in front of mirror in the First Year Girl's dorm of Gryffindor, brushing my red wavy hair. My green eyes sparkled beautifully, as I stroked my red fountain of hair. I gazed at my reflection and smiled, glad that I was ready for the Halloween Feast. My uniform was tidy, and my homework was done. Nothing could go wrong. Wait, it could. I had no idea what Dawn and her gorillas were up to!

Thinking about the Potters made my blood boil. James was an annoying brat while Dawn was just insufferable. Sirius was just as bad. There probably going to make a special society, that enjoys killing innocent people! I shuddered as I thought that, Surely they couldn't be that evil, right….?

No way, I decided. They are too stupid for that. But they did embarrass Severus on the way to Hogwarts. And then, at Hogwarts. Then every weekend the whole common room used to turn green by Sunday. Green as in, green with gloop. Yuck. No one knew who did that, but I had one good guess. Those Moron-Dunderheads. James, Dawn, and Sirius for sure. I had decided to call them that. Moron and Dunderheads. Or Moron-heads. They didn't know that of course but yeah.

Thinking about Severus made my heart flutter. He was the bestest friend somebody could have. He was the one who told me I was a witch.

'Mom told you not to do that!' Petunia shrieked.

I grinned at her, my palms raised, with a small flower blooming on it. 'Come on. It is great.'

'No it's not. Freak! You are a freak.'

'No she isn't.' I turned around to find a small boy my age, standing by the bushes. I stared at him, and he gazed back sadly, his long black hair all messed up as if he was hiding in the bushes. 'You are a witch.'

I felt my temper rising. 'That's not a nice thing to say!'

He turned red, 'No. I mean I am a wizard, just like you-'

'Come ON, Lily. We are going home. Right NOW.' Petunia grabbed my arms and dragged me back towards our house. I just stared at Severus with my green eyes.

'Wait- Lily! You are not a freak!' And that was the last thing I had heard from Severus for a long time.

I closed my eyes and sighed at the memory. It was too depressing. Petunia and I used to be so close…. Ah, no matter thinking about it now.

'Hey, Lils!' I heard someone call me, cheerfully. I groaned as I recognized her.

'Dawn,' I acknowledged.

'So how's it going?'

'Good. Um, weren't you hanging out with the morons-dunderhead party?'

'Hmmm… rude. But I got bored…. So why don't I hang out with you?'

'You are being nice.' I said, abit shocked.

'Duh, I am nice.' I rolled my eyes at her, she was a total girl version of James- same Dark hair, pale complexion, smirk and hazel eyes. Yeah, the smirk too.

'Well, no. You see I am meeting Severus.'

'I know that.'

'What?'

'I mean, you hang around him all the time, right? So how about a change?'

'Well…' I said hesitantly. I shouldn't be hesitant, I thought. Sev is my best friend. Oh she is charming me.

'Its okay, if you don't want to… Or maybe you could bring Sev with us!'

'I don't know.'

She rolled her eyes, 'I am not a monster! Chill dude.'

'Okay. I will just go and get Sev-'

'Already got him. He is in the Common Room.'

'What…' I gaped.

'Comeon! We haven't got all day.'
