The Man Is Mine:

(┌・。・)┌ Guess who's back! I know I took a very long two year hiatus but I have returned! I know I'm being dramatic, Ha! But just know that guys I'm really sorry for being gone for so long but I hope you're all still here and ready for new chapters and stories to come. Please check out my profile to look at the new announcements and renovations made to the page. Also, at the bottom of my profile is all the animes that I have watched so if you take a look at those, you can get a glimpse of what new stories are on the rise.

P.S, There's a lot so be ready! I'll tell you guys this much, out of the 29 that I've watched (Still going don't worry.) The ones that really have me excited to write about are Nana, Gangsta, and Paradise Kiss because those are honestly the most unique anime I've ever seen. Check them out if you'd like but I'll give you fair warning:

-The creator of both Nana and Paradise kiss has only finished the anime of Paradise Kiss. Nana is on a hiatus and has been for about five years, you'll see very amazing parts of the anime but for the full story you must read the Manga and I'm %99 sure that that is completed.

-Gangsta is also on a hiatus because the company that produced the anime has become bankrupt, not to worry though. Since Gangsta was such a huge hit in Japan different companies are willing to take on the responsibility of picking it back up very soon. The Manga is still on going so if you'd like to check that out you're free too as well.

On to the story...

Chapter 10: The Void

Pan stared at the glass tube full of turquoise liquid engulfing a certain lavender haired hybrid within. She sighed as she stared, scared to think because of the possibility of Trunks hearing her. She knew about bonds and what was to come from them. The heightened senses, a flurry of emotions, and most bizarre of all, being able to read each others thoughts and replying to them.

She stood up and walked over to the incubation tube that he was in and grazed her fingers along the glass. His eyes were closed as his hair floated around him. Bulma sat on the side of the tube working on the stats on the machine. How much oxygen he was getting, the flow of the liquid in the tube, and other things Pan had no clue about.

"Pan." She called from the side catching her attention.

"Yes Bulma-San?"

"Do you," She took a pause and pushed her glasses up that she only seemed to wear in the lab. "Do you know how this happened? I know Trunks and Vegeta spar a lot but it's never like this." Although she was angry with Vegeta, she knew her husband better than anyone. He'd never do this without a reason, even if it was a stupid reason it had to be important to him.

"I'm not sure. After Trunks had spoken to me about his issue with Marron, they left to the Gravity Room." Pan bit her lip trying to keep out the information that her and Trunks were mated and that's what caused the break up in the first place. Bulma sighed and as she walked over to face Pan.

"Are you sure you have no idea? Not even a slight one?" Pan nodded looking down scared to look her in the eyes. "Alright, well please go check on Bra I'm sure she's a bit worried too." With that in mind, Pan darted towards the door. Bulma looked at her son and then to his neck.

You don't have to lie to me Pan, I had to undress him to put him into the Rejuvenation chamber.

She looked at the markings and walked back to her desk finishing her reports that she had been doing before Trunks needed assistance.

Pan looked around the house to find Bra. "Bra? Where are you?" She questioned wandering around until she saw a familiar blue hair outside on the balcony. "Hey." She said sliding open the door joining her best friend on the balcony.

"Hey." She said with a smile looking out towards Mount Paozu.

"What's going through your head? You were pretty cheery earlier today." Bra chuckled and smiled.

"I'm still happy, even with Trunks in the Rejuvenation chamber. I just started thinking after Marron stormed out. I knew it was only a certain amount of time before Trunks left her and the reason why should show soon. As she left I started thinking about our childhood. When stuff like marriage wasn't on anyone's mind, just training for tournaments and having a good time. I know we all have to grow up some time, but when I get the chance to look at Mount Paozu where your family lives, I can't help but be taken back." She sighed and leaned onto the balcony. "That's one place that never seemed to lose it's humble essence. No matter how many villains or how much industrialization that takes place around it, it never changes. Unlike people."

Pan looked at Bra realizing just how right she was. It weird for her to think something like that, not because she's not smart but just because she never really thinks deep.

"What a thought." Bra looked over at Pan and smiled.

"How's Trunks?" Pan turned on her heels and put her hands behind her neck.

"Eh, he's pretty good I assume. Few broken bones that should heal pretty quickly though. Couple of cuts and bruises here and there too." Bra hummed as she followed the young girl into the house.

"So uh, now that Marron is gone." Bra nudged Pan making her chuckle.

"Yeah yeah I know what you're going to say."

"I mean it's not impossible. You're a beautiful girl and-"

"Are you hitting on me Bra?" The two laughed running into Vegeta.

"Pan can I talk to you for a bit?" She looked at him with a dull expression but nodded anyways.

"I'll catch up to you Bra." Bra nodded and ran to the lab to check on Trunks. Vegeta led Pan to the Gravity Room automatically making her on guard.

Pan looked around the room seeing Trunks' blood still on the floor and Vegeta stared at her. "What? Are you going to fight me too?" He shook his head and glared at her.

"Brat, I do this because I actually do't want you getting hurt-"

"Oh bullshit! You broke your own son's bones."

"And he'll heal. Unlike you." She shot him a glare.

"What do you mean unlike me? I'm capable of caring for myself."

"That's not what I meant. I know just as well as you do that you two have mated." Pan gasped as the older Saiyan looked to the ground. "And I already told you what's to come if you stay with him."

"I know, but can't we beat them all over again? We've done it before, we've gotten stronger and they haven't." Vegeta shook his head and paced around the room.

"You don't get it. Once this all happens, it'll only get worse. Do you really want to see your family, friends, and the whole Earth get wiped out because of your feelings for Trunks? I'm not trying to say you're unworthy because that's not the case, I'm telling you that this is a bad idea."

Pan looked at her feet and thought for a bit. If she went through with this bond she'd end up risking the lives of billions.

"So what do I do?" Vegeta looked at Pan with seriousness circling throughout his eyes.

"Create a void."

Guys! I know this is extremely short but I have a bit of writer's block at the moment. It's been a while since I've written so I have to figure out what direction I'm going to take my stories. I'll update again tomorrow so I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I'll try to get other chapters up for my other stories but I'm going through the editing process for all of them.
