Yeah, I am finally back. Sorry for making you wait so long. And I apologize if the ending is a bit rushed. I had the idea for the ending first.

Disclaimer: I do not own Merlin or Harry Potter.

Chapter 10

"Then we can't disturb him." Hermione turned to Harry and Ron. "If that's the case we can wait for Dumbledore in our quarters."

The three turned around and left in search for their quarters. They went in silence for quite some time, every one deep in thoughts. In this manner they climbed several stairways and walked along many corridors until Harry suddenly stopped.

Ron and Hermione went a few steps farther until they noticed und turned back.

"What's wrong?"

Harry looked at them. "Do you know where we have to go?" he asked.

"No. I thought you knew." Hermione answered.

Ron moaned. "Great. Really great. So how will we get back?"

"We could ask someone." Harry mused.

"But here is no one." Ron said exasperated.

Just in that moment they could hear the clicking of shoes.

The sound came closer and closer. The three young wizards stood there waiting, curious as to whom it could be.

Then they saw her. A tall woman with a lean figure and long dark hair that seemed to shine. She had beautiful emerald eyes that looked like she wasn't expecting to see them here.

"May I ask what your business is in this remote place in the castle?" The lady had stopped to address them.

"Um.. we… yeah…well you see…" Ron turned red and lowered his head.

In answer the lady raised an eyebrow. "Well, is anyone of you able to answer my question?" she asked wile looking at Harry.

The raven head felt slightly uneasy under her scrutinising gaze. But then he pulled himself together and looked at her steadily. "And what are you doing here?"

The foreign woman was amused. "I live in this castle. The king is like a brother to me so I think I have every right to be here."

"The king's brother?" Hermione blurted out in surprise. "I never knew the king had a brother."

"Didn't you listen to me? I said like a brother." The other woman corrected, her chuckling slightly. "But perhaps you have heard of the name Morgana. And now for the last time: what is your business here?"

Hermione was taken aback. Morgana? The Morgana? The one that was an enemy to Camelot? How could it be? It seemed as if legend varied more from real history than she had thought. What were they going to do now?

Luckily Harry didn't notice Hermione's shock and so he answered. "We have come here to work today. But the castle is large. We couldn't find our way back and got lost."

The lady now known as Morgana looked at them curiously but nevertheless told them where to go and left.

Dumbledore was on the way to the servant chambers. They had finished treating the knight some time ago. Gaius had given the knight a few more potions, ordered him to take some time off and sent him back to rest in his rooms.

Merlin had left shortly after, going to report to his king while Dumbledore stayed, helping Gaius search the potions needed for his rounds before he left, too.

The three young wizards still stood at the same place for a while, staring into space before they began to move in the direction shown to them by the lady.

When they finally reached their quarters without getting lost again, they were surprised to see Dumbledore already there. Now they finally remembered the great news they had to tell him and consequently stumbled over their words and into the room in their haste.

"P-professor, Professor Dumbledore... " "You won't believe..." "There... I mean we..."

Dumbledore raised his hands, an amused glint in his blue eyes.

"Calm down children. I'm sure today was quite exciting for you. But I have to admit I feel the same. After all it's not every day you meet a living legend of wizard history."

"Could it be you have met him, too?" Ron asked a little dejected.

"Who would you be talking about?"

"Merlin, of course." The three answered.

Dumbledore smiled brightly. "Aah. Yes, I had the pleasure to get to know him today. According to your reactions, that seems to be the case for you, too." There were three nods. "I have to admit I was surprised he was so young."

"But isn't that great?" Ron asked excited. "I always thought that Merlin was a grumpy old man. Someone with a lot of knowledge. If he were I wouldn't have been able to talk to him."

"He's right, Professor." Harry said. "He seems to be our age. I'm sure he can understand us and will try to help."

But then all of them went quiet. Yes, they had found Merlin and he may be able to help them despite his youth. But... how could they ask him for this help? They would have to tell him that they were from the future, that they were wizards too and that they had no idea how they ended up in the past.

Okay, there was this strange Lady of the Lake. But no one knew what exactly she had done.

If they told Merlin he might not believe them or –in a worst case scenario- think they were crazy.

So the question was: How to ask the greatest wizard to ever live for help with their problem? How much could they reveal or would they have to tell everything?

Those were the questions that all of them were pondering.

No, not all of them. Harry was the only one whose thoughts went back in a different, more pleasant, direction. He couldn't be bothered with the future when he was sure that Merlin would help them and everything would turn out right. The subject of his thoughts was no other than the beautiful lady Morgana. Since their encounter earlier this day he hadn't been able to think of something else.

His friends, Voldemort, their situation, Merlin; all of this was unimportant compared to her. He couldn't fathom how it had happened or why, but did it even matter?

Morgana sat in her chambers pondering. The three teens she had met today. There was something off with them. Especially with the raven haired one. She had felt something dark in his presence but she doubted that it came from the boy himself.

They weren't from Camelot otherwise they would have recognised her. Were they possible allies or enemies? It seems she would have to contact Morgause.

A/N: Morgana and Morgause? That can't be good. What are they planning?

A little explanation to this universe: As you all probably have seen Arthur is king. Morgana knows that she is Arthur's half sister because she heard Uther in season 3. But Arthur doesn't know this and so it isn't public knowledge. For this reason Morgana denies this fact in front of the three from the future.

I hope that this clears a few of the questions you may have. Until next time.
