A/N: Here we are! The final chapter of 'Spider-Boy: Shattered Dimensions'. Now, in this one, the identity of Mysterio's Master is revealed and he will be the villain the Avengers team-up story. Anyways, Mysterio met his fate and his body now lies at the bottom of one of Central Park's ponds because his cracked helmet let water get into his suit and the armor is destroyed as well. Now, our heroes are ready to destroy the Pillar, close the portals to the other Dimensions and contain the Infinity Stone that powers it. Without further delay, enjoy!
(Normal POV)
All the Spider-Boys (except the original) found which portal lead to their dimension and assembled a large piece of debris from a destroyed building that was nearby. Everyone already had their debris picked out and Iron-Spider was the last to place his debris by the portal that belonged to him.
"Is that the last of it?" Elsa asked, Iron-Spider nodded in reply. He then gathered around the other Spider-Boys and saw Sherman still in his battle damaged suit without the boot that used to be covering his dislocated ankle, and was getting his broken ankle get relocated and get a cast on it by Peabody, and Mary Jane who came out to see Sherman as soon as the invasion came to a stop.
"And there you go, all wrapped up" Peabody said as he finished the final bandaging on the ankle and secured it in place with a black plastic cast boot.
"Can I get a little help here?" asked Sherman as he struggled to stand up. Penny and Mary Jane helped Sherman up and Sherman hissed in pain when he put some minor pressure on his ankle.
"Oohh, I know it's sore but give it some time to heal. And don't worry, you did your job well, just like the Spider-Boy we always knew, never giving up, never surrendering, and never turning their back from their foe" Mary Jane said kissing Sherman's forehead which made him smile. 2099 Spider-Boy approached Sherman and spoke.
"Look, I wanna say thank you. You gave those aliens a Shocking good lesson in butt kicking, huh?" he asked.
"I guess we did" Sherman said nodding. Iron-Spider was the next to speak and spoke to Penny.
"Remember not to touch the stone, just make sure it's sealed shut once you use the sphere to catch it in mid-air when it's falling" Iron-Spider said before looking back to Sherman.
"Don't worry, I will" said Penny.
"And it was an honor fighting with you. Glad to know there's more than one Spider-Boy fighting to keep our worlds safe" said Iron-Spider.
"Yeah, glad to know that my best buddy didn't go to the bad side in another world" Scarlet-Spider said.
"Me too, glad to know Hayden's good in your world" Sherman said.
"I know this may be the last time we see each other, but you fight good" Spider-Girl said.
"Thank you" Sherman replied extending his hand out to shake hers, but Spider-Girl ended up hugging Sherman instead which he happily returned.
"Always remember, never stop the fight. Keep it going for the sake of your planet, home, and family" Noir Spider-Boy said. Sherman nodded and with that final goodbye gotten out of the way, everyone looked up to the Pillar.
"Okay everyone, get into position!" Mary Jane said.
"Let's tear some stuff to the ground everybody!" Penny said as she got onto her glider and opened the sphere Iron-Spider gave her by pressing the button on the top and hovered up to the Pillar itself.
Each Spider-Boy climbed up the Pillar to get to their portal and use their webbing to pick up the debris they collected and used it like a wrecking ball to destroy the very center of the device after jumping off the Pillar wall, and going in through the portal.
All the debris pieces clashed in the center and made the Pillar blow up and grow weak. When Penny saw the flashing green light, she zoomed towards it and went right under. Once the Infinity Stone hit the center of the sphere, the motion sensors went off and it closed shut like a Venus fly trap.
"She got it" Sherman whispered smiling. Penny then lowered back to the ground and handed the sphere to Peabody.
"I can't believe it. The most powerful thing in the universe is something you can fit in your palm" Peabody said in amazement as he looked at his reflection in the shiny Adamantium shell.
"Yeah, but in the hands of a greater being. In a mortal's hands, it blows people up" Sherman said chuckling.
"Oh, well then. I shall make sure this is locked somewhere safe and secure" the beagle said.
"May I ask where, exactly?" Elsa asked.
"A special vault in the Penthouse. Walls made from concrete, a steel door, and a hand-print scanner" Peabody said. Everyone was wide eyed at what advanced technology would be keeping the Infinity Stone cut off from the rest of the world who would want to use this power for harm.
"Cool" Mary Jane said.
"So while he does that, what do you say we go out for a movie or something?" Penny offered.
"Um, Penny, I don't think Sherman is in no position to be walking due to his ankle" Peabody said.
"Doesn't mean I can't stop keeping criminals off the streets" Sherman said defending himself.
"I suppose exceptions can be made. But you'll have to stay inside when you're not, people will get suspicions if they see you wearing the same cast Spider-Boy has" Peabody said.
"Good point, fair enough" Sherman said.
"But hey, what about we all have a family movie night in the living room? We can watch 'American Sniper', 'Zombieland' or 'The Longest Ride'?" Mary Jane offered. Sherman and Penny looked to each other and smiled.
"Good enough for me" the young couple said in unison and they all began walking back to the Penthouse in complete happiness and harmony. But there was one thing that was buzzing in Sherman's brain, who sent Mysterio and his armies to invade? Who was his master? But questions like that would be put aside for later, this was a time for celebration.
-Epilogue-
In a large jail-like institution, several security guards were now lying dead on the floor either with broken necks, or smoking ash-marks on their chests. Mysterio's master walked through the hallways until he reached the cell he was looking for.
"Hans Southerns" the hooded man said to himself before using telekinetic powers to open it and revealed Hans (A.K.A. Carnage) the last big baddie Sherman faced back when he was eight years old.
"Who are you? And what do you want?" asked Hans standing clad in a yellow prison suit.
"I believe this belongs to you" said the hooded man pulling out the canister of red and black goo inside it.
"My symbiotic suit?" Hans said in surprise, wide eyed at this.
"Yes, and I shall give it to you, restore your power. IF you pledge undying allegiance to me!" Mysterio's master said.
"I accept" Hans said bowing.
"But, I must know your name, good sir" Hans asked. The hooded man removed the hood and revealed himself as not an alien, but a pale skinned human man with long greasy black hair, and solace blue eyes. When he dropped the rest of his cloak, he revealed gold and green armor underneath it, as well as a golden scepter with a ram's head on the top with a red glow inside it.
"Call me, Loki" said the man.
"Well then, Loki. I pledge my allegiance to you" Hans said. Loki smirked and then dropped the glass container on the ground, causing it to break and allowing the symbiote to reconnect with Hans' body.
"Yes! Yes! Carnage is reborn at last!" Carnage said in a distorted voice.
"This way, my friends and I are waiting for you" said Loki as he began walking out of the cell and used his scepter to open up a portal to reveal a large metallic room in the middle of space to reveal some other people as well.
Dr. Octopus (Grunion), The Green Goblin (Sherman turned evil from Scarlet-Spider's world) the Rhino, Venom, and the Lizard. The surviving enemies from the other dimensions Mysterio tried invading were shown inside. Loki took Carnage in through the portal and spoke.
"Welcome to the Sinister Six" said Loki before closing the portal.
