R.I.P
Robin Williams
1951-2014
After I heard what happened to Robin Williams, I figured I would post this tribute on this story. This is not a chapter, just a tribute to a great man.
Ever since I was a kid, I loved Robin because he played Genie in the Disney movie Aladdin. Even though I was too young to understand who he really was, I always loved Genie's sense of humor; he always made me laugh. I guess he was the person that I really tried to model my comedy style after. Over the years, I saw countless comedy routines starring him, and it amazed me how he could make whole crowds of people laugh without even really breaking a sweat. His role in Jumanji made it not only into a great family movie, but also into a movie that is still worth watching today. In a way, he kinda inspired me to write this fanfic. I've only seen Dead Poets Society recently, but he was just as good in that movie as in all his other movies. But I guess what has really surprised me the most about my favorite comedy actor is that even though he battled with depression, he always found a way to make people laugh with that childish grin of his. Robin Williams has touched the lives of so many people, and even though his battle with depression claimed his life all too early, he has been immortalized by his movies, his impact on others lives, and the countless times he's made someone laugh. He is not only one of the greatest comedy actors I've ever known, but also one of the greatest individuals I've ever known. Robin is in the hands of God now, and I have no doubt that he'll find a way to make him laugh too.
