I know I uploaded this chapter but I fixed a typo.
"Daddy, my burrito is too hot!" Jasmine whined. She was so hungry that she bitinto her bean and cheese burrito and burned her top lip. "Stupid burrito! Do they have mashed potatoes here?"
"No Jasmine, they do not have mashed potatoes here. You are going to turn into a batch of mashed potatoes. Let your food cool down some. Drink your soda," Jon said.
Everyone had ordered bean and cheese burritos. Everyone got two each. The kids were drinking their sodas like it was water.
"Slow down everyone!" Adriana said.
"Oh let the kids enjoy their sodas," Jon said.
"I don't want them to choke," Adriana said.
"They're not going to choke," Jon said.
Michael was relishing in the fact that he actually got to eat fast food. He'd forgotten the last time he had fast food. Or even a nice meal to be exact. Sometimes he would go to bed hungry and have to wait until he went to school the next day to eat something. Sometimes some of his classmates would give him cookies or even their entire lunch when they noticed that he didn't have anything to eat. Michael never thought that he would ever meet anyone that loved him and cared about his well being like Jon and Adriana. Michael was shocked when Jon went to take him shopping for clothes. Jon simply told him to pick out whatever he wanted. That was it.
Never again did Michael have to cry himself to sleep. If he cried himself to sleep now, it was because he was crying of laughter at J.J. and Aiden arguing with each other before bed and seeing Jon come in and threaten to whoop them. Or Maddy stealing Aiden's worms from his jar and putting them in her jar. The past few days were rough but at least everyone was still able to be happy together.
"Use a napkin, not your shirt!" Jon said to Aiden.
"Sorry!" Aiden said. He reached for a napkin to his side. He accidently bumped Maddy's hand, causing her to drop her burrito on the wrapper on the table.
"You could say excuse me!" Maddy snapped.
"You saw me reaching for a napkin!" Aiden said.
"No I didn't! You little shrimp head!" Maddy said.
"Who you callin' a shrimp head!? Beef face!" Aiden said.
"You take that back!"
"Not until you take back what you said first!"
"No! You are a shrimp head!"
"Well you're a beef face!"
"I sense that two little bad kids named Madaline and Aiden want their father named Jonathan to whoop their behinds when they get home because they can't sit here, eat their food, and not make a scene," Jon said.
"He started it!" Maddy said.
"Aiden, next time say excuse me. Madaline, don't call him names," Jon said.
"Daddy, can I have some cinnabons?" J.J. asked.
"I'll order some before we leave. I don't want you guys bouncing off of the walls before we leave," Jon said. He reached for a few napkins and wiped Jasmine's face. She had beans smeared all over her face.
"Oh you children. How are you enjoying the food Michael?" Adriana asked.
"Very good! I'll save my other burrito," Michael said.
"I'm glad you're enjoying it. At least you're using a napkin and not making a mess," Jon said. "Madaline Linda Good! Don't use the back of your hand!"
"Listen, you're not going to be digging up worms near the tomatoes," Adriana told Maddy and Aiden. Adriana had started growing tomatoes in the backyard.
"Damn," Maddy said.
Adriana popped her right on the mouth. Aiden snickered. Adriana popped him on the mouth too.
"Ow!" Aiden said.
"Stop snickering. Go back inside and clean your rooms. They look a mess," Adriana said.
Aiden and Maddy stormed back into the house as Jon came outside in the back to see what his wife was doing.
"So you're gonna start growing your own tomatoes eh?" Jon said.
"Yup."
"You're going going to start making tomato soup again?"
"Maybe. I was thinking about it."
Adriana began watering the new tomato seeds she planted. The ones she already had started growing were getting big, red, and ripe.
"You should if that's what your heart desires. I do miss your tomato soup."
"Oh yeah. You did eat plenty of tomato soup whenever me or mom made it."
"Yup."
"I remember I used to cook tomato soup whenever I would come home from college. Honestly I would make it most of the time simply because it reminded me of you. When I thought I had lost you forever I made it. Kept me a little sane when I was lonely...Max would eat some as well..."
Adriana stopped watering the plants and took off her gloves.
"That's enough for today," she said.
She walked back into the house through the backdoor. Jon followed right behind her and shut the sliding door behind him and locked it.
"It's okay if you want to talk about it," Jon said.
Adriana went into the pantry and was idly searching for something. She was half listening to Jon.
"About?"
"Max."
Adriana grabbed a can of corn and came out of the pantry. Jon was standing against the counter with his arms crossed. Adriana turned on the stove and placed a pot on it.
"Max is gone. He's gone. My little brother is gone. Nothing else to say."
Jon turned off the stove and took the can of corn out of Adriana's hand.
"Look, I know you're still hurting inside. You can talk to me. I'm your husband," he said. "You can trust me with anything."
Deep down Adriana was holding resentment towards Jon over Max's death. And she was going to air out all of her grievances right now.
"You could've saved Max. You or Gus could've shot the man Max was fighting with! You shoot everyone else! You save everyone else but you couldn't save my little brother, your brother-in-law! And now he's gone forever!" Adriana said.
"Me and Gus were trying to save him," Jon said.
"You guys didn't try hard enough!"
"Adriana don't yell-"
Adriana slapped Jon in the face. He grabbed her by the arms and yanked her close to him. Her blue eyes met Jon's blue eyes.
"Don't. Do. That," Jon growled. "Don't do this to me. I don't want to fight you. I'm not going to fight you. I won't."
Jon saw tears forming in Adriana's eyes.
"But he's gone. Forever," she cried.
"He's always here with us. Let's go back in the room and chant," Jon said.
Jon picked Adriana up and carried her into the room. Locking the door, Jon carried her to the little shrine they fixed in the corner of the room. They had a statue of Buddha and had surrounded it with incense. They also had two candles on either side of the statue. They didn't put too much on the stand because of concern about the kids messing with something on it.
Jon sat Adriana down on the pillows that he had laid out earlier and sat behind her.
"Chant with me," he whispered.
"No," Adriana responded.
"You'll feel better. I promise."
And Adriana did indeed feel better. The more her and Jon chanted, the better she felt.
In fact she felt so good that she grabbed Jon's hand and stoved it into her panties. She turned her head back and locked lips with him. Jon was taken aback by this but didn't protest against it. Luckily Adriana was wearing a simple summer dress so it wouldn't be hard to rip off her clothes. Jon pulled down the straps of her dress and exposed her bare breasts.
Adriana got up and grabbed Jon's hand and led him to the bed. She pushed him down and climbed on top of him. Jon quickly reached for the lube on the inside of the nightstand and whipped it out. Adriana placed a hand on Jon's face.
"I want it rough," she said.
Jon nodded.
Adriana got off of Jon and allowed him to pull down his basketball shorts and boxers so he could lube himself up. She took off her panties and hopped on top of him again when he was done. Jon slid his cock into Adriana. She slowly grinded against Jon.
"That feels good," she whispered. She tugged at Jon's shirt.
Jon flipped her over. With each grunt he thrusted into her as hard as he could. Grabbing her thighs, he thrusted into her over and over again. With each thrust Adriana's breasts bounced up and down.
"Yes," Adriana whispered. "Harder."
Jon pounded into Adriana relentlessly. Adriana got lost in the moment and closed her eyes. All of her worries suddenly washed away with no problem.
May 2003:
Jon and Adriana were sitting on the roof of the car. Jon had his arms wrapped around Adriana as if she was going to fly away. He rested his head on her left shoulder and kissed her on her soft and rosy cheek.
"Love you," Jon whispered.
"I love you more," Adriana whispered back.
They were in the parking lot at the park. It was pretty crowded that day. A bunch of families and people with their pets or children were having the time of their life at the park. The more children Adriana saw the more she longed for her own. Of course she was only eighteen and needed to graduate high school first. She also planned on going to college afterwards to become a vet. Only two weeks until graduation. She was getting butterflies in her stomach. Jon didn't really reveal much about his plans after graduation. Adriana decided to ask him.
"What are your plans after graduation?" Adriana asked.
"Haven't really decided yet," Jon said. He was sort of telling the truth and also lying. Lying to Adriana and Mrs. Germanotta was something he never did.
"What are your options?"
"Mechanic if I decide to go to school for it."
Being a mechanic was Jon's backup plan if he didn't get into the military.
"You would be a sexy mechanic. I would purposely wreck my car to have you fix it."
"I'm sure you would."
"Why did you cut your hair?"
Jon had cut his hair the previous day.
"I needed a new look."
"I'm going to miss your locks."
"I know. But you can still mess with my hair."
"Are you sure you're not hiding anything from me?"
"No."
"You sure?"
"I'm positive."
February 2004:
"One minute me and you were having a grand time now you're mad at me!" Jon said.
Him and Adriana had came back home from the movies. Jon was finally back home after his training but hee would get deployed in a week. Adriana was trying to be supportive but she couldn't deal with it anymore.
"You know what? I asked you last year what you planned on doing. And you lied to me and said you didn't know. Why didn't you tell me the truth!?" Adriana said.
"Oh my gosh. I didn't lie to you! I just didn't want to tell you and Mom right away. I didn't want you guys to spend the next few months worrying about me," Jon said.
Adriana sat down on her bed and folded her arms.
"You stupid idiot."
"Don't call me names."
"I am since you want to lie to me."
"I did not lie. You seemed fine today. Why are you acting up all of a sudden?"
"Because I thought I could deal with you being away. I thought that even though you were going off to war that I could be supportive of you. It was your decision to join. But look, I'm worried about you."
Jon sat down next to her.
"I'm going to be fine. I'll be back before you know it. Come on. I don't like it when you're mad at me."
Jon hugged her and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"I don't want you to be mad at me. Please don't be mad. I love you very much. Let's head to sleep."
"Fine."
Present:
Adriana snapped back into the present time when she felt Jon's scruff of a beard rub against her cheek. He hadn't stopped pounding into her. Wrapping her arms around his neck, Adriana hugged Jon tightly around his neck.
"I love you," Adriana whispered in Jon's ear.
"I love you too," Jon whispered back.
With one last thrust, Jon came inside of her. Both of them were shaking from their orgasms. Jon pulled out of her and regained his breath. Adriana simply laid on her back and closed her eyes.
"You okay?" Jon asked.
"Yeah."
Adriana got up and went into the bathroom to shower.
Jasmine had completely destroyed her room. Barbie dolls and clothes decorated her floor. Her shoes were also scattered around her room. Some of her Finding Nemo posters even found themselves on the floor. She was having a field day. She was hopping on her bed. Maddy also had a helping hand in destroying the room and was also bouncing on the bed.
Jon had heard the girls laughing when he left his room. He had walked down the hall to see what was going on. Jasmine's room was the last down the hallway. Jon opened the door and saw the girls bouncing on the bed. Both of them bounced back on the bed, sat down, and froze. Jon took a good look around the room.
"Hi Daddy," both girls said.
"Hi," Jon said.
Jon came in and continued to look around at the mess the girls had made.
"Having fun?" he asked.
"Yup," Maddy said.
"You guys can have fun. But I expect this room to be clean by dinner," Jon warned.
"Yes Daddy," Jasmine said.
"Terrific. Now don't break anything and don't hurt yourselves because I won't hear the last of your mother's mouth," Jon said.
"Okay!" Jasmine said.
They heard something shatter in the kitchen.
"What in the world?" Jon muttered to himself.
Thinking it was the boys messing around in the kitchen, Jon went to see what was going on. Instead of seeing the boys in the kitchen, Jon saw Adriana. She had told him she was going to start making dinner. But instead broken glass was shattered in front of her. Adriana had smashed a glass bowl on the floor out of frustration. With her face buried in her hands, she was weeping uncontrollably. Jon entered into the kitchen and grabbed Adriana gently.
"Hey-"
"GET OFF OF ME!"
"Don't start!"
Adriana tried to hit Jon in the face but he grabbed her and pushed her towards a chair at the table and forced her to sit down. She got back up but instead of swinging at Jon she hugged him.
"I'm so sorry. I...I need help," Adriana said.
"I'll make an appointment to see the therapist. I'm taking you to bed so you can rest," Jon said.
