Daryl quickly rushed back into the bar zipping up his fly and pushing lightly past the customers whilst earning a few looks from them. Merle and Ricky gave him a look from the other side of the bar as he placed his hand on the other guys shoulder and squeezed tightly.
"Come with me." he said quietly. "No trouble, I promise." Daryl said assuring his brother and Ricky.
"Where are we going?" The guy said, his previously slick hair now in a frizzy mess from the fight.
Daryl took him to a quiet corner that was situated just before the staff door and with one swift motion after checking that nobody was looking, Daryl had the guy pushed up against the wall.
"I thought.. y-you- said no trouble.." he choked out as Daryl tightened his grip.
"You listen to me.. and you listen good. That woman out there is mine. I don't want you talking to her, touching her.. don't even look at her because if I catch you.. I will do worse than put my fist in your face. In fact, I want you gone.. I don't want to see you in here ever again. She would never go for a sleazy, ugly looking bastard like you. She wants me. She wants me so much that I just fucked her outside around the side of this bar and she loved every minute of it.. so just run along and don't let me catch you in this place.. ever again." Daryl whispered the last part right into his ear. He had never felt so angry. He dropped the guy back to his feet and left him shaking. He tidied up the front of his suit and backed away from Daryl and dared to look back as he exited through the main doors.
"Fuck! He left a bit quickly!" Merle said approaching the end of the bar where Daryl had appeared a few minutes later.
"Show's over folks!" Daryl ignored his brothers words and made it pretty clear to the nosey customers that were still looking and whispering.
"Good job boss isn't in tonight or you wouldn't have a job anymore, Dar." Ricky explained.
"Boss doesn't hear a word about this." Daryl replied fixing his tie and continuing to wipe down the bar.
"Well your lady's coming back.. so no more drama." Ricky said making Daryl look up to see Carol fixing her bra from under the straps of her silky dress. This made Daryl smile inside.
Carol sat back to her seat at the bar and looked up to Daryl and a tiny smirk appeared in the corner of her mouth.
"I think I deserve a free cocktail after all that drama, don't you?" She said with the same smirk plastered all over her face.
Daryl smiled. "Well. I don't know about that.. I thought you had your reward outside?" he winked at her.
Carol shook her head. "Oh no you don't." she laughed. "You're getting me that cocktail and then your meeting me outside for a cigarette and a taxi back to mine. Deal?" she said.
Daryl was ecstatic. This was possibly one of the worst nights in a while after the fight had broke out but now, it had gone from zero to ten in minutes.
"Of course." he said with a naughty smirk and walked off to serve more customers.
