The Last Dragon's Egg
Summary: PRMF: The final dragon's egg can only be claimed by the Chosen Master. Both the forces of good and evil are trying to claim the Chosen Master, for the hope that they will have control over the last Dragon, and the person who controls the dragon.

Chapter 10:
Vida opened her eyes and found herself floating in a large, stone room. The room was hexagonal in shape, with pillars set in a circle holding the ceiling up. There was a large pool of water in the centre of the room in the middle of the pillars. Vida saw that there was a crystal ball floating in the pool and when she looked closely, she could see the guys trying to blow up an inflatable 'Maddie'.
'This is what they thought would act as a decoy?' Vida thought to herself. 'I wonder if the Huntress even saw this.'
She then looked at the walls of the large room and saw that there was six stone arches set in each of the walls. All but one was blacked out, meaning that she couldn't see what was beyond the arches.
Vida could see that four of the arches had a black hexagon at the top of the arch, whereas the other two didn't. One had what looked like a cheetah's head and the other one had a dragon's head. A pink glow emanated from the arch with the dragon's head, so Vida started to drift towards the light.
'Why does everything have to be pink?' Vida asked herself.
When she passed through the stone arch, she took stock of the new room that she was in. There was a strange doorway set in the far side with strange symbols etched around it. Again, the image of the dragon appeared at the top of the door. Vida started to trace her hand over the symbols, noting how they seemed to form a language.
'That's strange, I think I sort of know what these symbols are saying.' Vida removed her hand and turned around, only just noticing a raised stone dais. Sitting upon the dais was a pink egg, and when Vida floated closer to it, it started to shake and glow pink.
'Again with the pink,' Vida noted reaching out a hand.
'It recognises your aura and is reacting to it,' a strange figure said, seeming to materialise out of thin air behind Vida.
Vida spun around and saw a female person standing behind her. She was quite tall, wearing a black robe that covered her entire body. She had red hair that came just past her shoulders. Her eyes were startling blue and she had a soft, sweet smile.
'I know you,' Vida said, drifting towards her. 'Your the person that I saw in my dream.'
'Yes, and you are the Chosen Master, the newest and last Mystic Rider,' the figure said.
'What does that mean?' Vida asked.
'Come to the temple and I'll explain everything. You must hurry and you must come alone. You have seen what has happened to those you told about this egg.' The woman said.
Vida scowled at that and nodded her head in agreement. 'Your right, I shouldn't have brought them along. I'll come alone.'
Vida then started to fade. 'I will meet you soon,' the woman said, bowing at a fading Vida. As soon as Vida had disappeared, the woman stopped smiling and her eyes turned to the colour of a night without a full moon and her hair turned black as well, matching her eyes perfectly.
Vida woke up shortly after leaving the temple. She clutched her arm as she stood up and took stock of her surroundings. The tree was nowhere to be seen and there were scorch marks on the ground that appeared to have originated from where Vida was standing.
'I did that?' Vida asked herself, remembering the power she felt earlier. 'That explains why my arm hurts. Must've unlocked a new power.'
Vida looked at the sky and saw that the sun was up and that it was still morning. She then looked around when she heard moaning coming from behind her. 'Phineas!' Vida shouted, running over to her friend.
Vida turned him over and saw the large bruise forming on his face. 'Phineas, are you ok?'
'What? Yeah, I'm fine,' Phineas said, squinting his eyes from the glare of the sun. 'What happened?'
'The Huntress found us and attacked you while you were hiding from me,' Vida replied, helping Phineas to stand up.
'I wasn't hiding, it just so happened that I went to collect water the moment you woke up,' Phineas replied.
'Of course.' Vida smiled in reply.
'Hey V, where's Maddie?' Phineas asked, noticing that they were one camp mate down.
Vida stopped smiling as she remembered what happened to her sister. She took out the remains of her wand and said, 'the Huntress took her. I have a few days to get the egg and give it to her.'
Phineas turned around and looked at her, seeing the broken wand. 'She did this? She broke your morpher and your source of magic?'
'You don't need a wand to use magic Phineas. All you need to do is believe in magic, and you can use it.' Vida replied, putting her broken wand away. She then went over to the camp and then started to put down her tent.
Vida turned around when the tent had been stowed away. While she was doing this, Phineas had made a new fire and had a nice smelling stew boiling over the flames. Phineas was stirring the pot when Vida sat down opposite him.
'Phineas, I need you to go and find the guys as soon as we've eaten.' Vida said, looking at her friend.
'But what about you? I still need to help you to go over the mountain,' Phineas objected.
'No you don't, I never needed your help,' Vida replied, look down at the ground.
'Then why did you ask me to come?' Phineas asked.
'To reassure my sister, and have someone to look after her and guide her back home while I got the egg.' Vida said, looking up. 'Now that she's gone, I need you to go find the guys and tell them what happened. Tell them to the park in six days time. I'll meet you there.'
'What will you be doing?' Phineas asked.
'I'll be getting that dragon to hatch. The Huntress said she wanted the egg but she didn't say anything about the dragon inside of it.' Vida replied, adding some more sticks to the fire.
'Sneaky. No wonder the egg chose you,' Phineas said. 'I'll take down the camp and move of in an hour or so. The sooner I get back, the sooner we can begin to prepare for your return.'
As Phineas moved of to take down the camp, Vida couldn't help but wonder why she was chosen. She had felt the power as she unleashed that energy at the Huntress. Only now did Vida remember that Maddie had been with her, meaning that she could've killed her sister.
'I'm sorry Maddie,' Vida thought to herself. 'All I could see was her, my enemy, trying to take away the person that I cared for the most. I can't let my anger get the better of me again. I won't let this power control me. I will control the power.'
Another update in one week? I believe that I have my writing mojo back and I have a vague idea with where I want this story to go. Hopefully I'll update again soon.
