The thunderous cracking of the bridge's support snaps me to attention. The time for strategy and precaution is past; right now, it's do or die.

The unknown zoid plods safely off of the bridge a split second before it begins tilting under my weight, but the Raptor escorting it is not so lucky. In its panic to escape, its claws have sunk deep into the wooden boards.

Biting my lip, I bolt back across the bridge. If the target zoid didn't fall, I can't take my leave just yet. I leap for land, but the quickly rising platform cuts me off. Landing gracefully on it isn't a problem, but the bridge is so tilted now that I start sliding back down.

With a jolt, the stuck raptor stops my descent just as another crack tells me the other support pillar has given way. Using it as a foothold, I make one final jump, clearing the cliff by less than half a meter.

The Wolves stop shooting for a moment, perhaps stunned by the sound of the turbulent river smashing the bridge, and their ally, to pieces. I take the opportunity to dash alongside the fourth zoid in order to use it as cover. A glance into its cockpit confirms that it is in fact moving via auto-pilot; and I bet the Raptor was the one with the controls.

The Wolves begin to circle around the front and back of their ally, but I race off into the forest. I know exactly what path they have to follow since they can no longer control the fourth zoid; now, the cards are all in my hand.

By clawing deep gashes into several trees, I've prepared a fitting 'instant' prison. As soon as they walk near, a few well placed shots will leave them buried and vulnerable. Meanwhile, I've dug out a small pit from which to fire from. It's deep enough to provide cover and I added a layer of brush to help conceal myself.

Sure enough, the Wolves don't realize what they're up against until the first trees come crashing down. One of them sprints forward in time, but the other and their escortee are trapped. The free Command Wolf dashes about, unsure of where the assault came from. By time he settles on my direction, I've already lined up a shot.

The other Wolf is frantically trying to shake off the trees, with moderate success. The noise it kicks up makes a perfect veil for me to circle around behind it. With one final shot, the forest falls silent.
