Hey everyone thank you for all your great reviews and telling me to keep on going. So guess what here the next chapter is for Fox and Sparx. I don't own Dc or marvel or any of the characters and shows they have created and did except for Fox and Sparx. And don't forget to review once you're done to let me know when you're done.
Dusty's pov
Day before
Going back and forth on things I would need tomorrow, you're probably wondering what tomorrow is well it's the time we finally end this damn invasion thing and get back to our lives. Looking at my bed there laid my superhero outfit, my kunai knives, sword, bow and arrows. Standing there tapping my foot I kept asking myself was this too much or was it just the right amount.
"You're bringing the sword?" I hear Wally ask
Turning to the door way I see the serious look on his face but it turned into a slight smile in the end.
"Ya I guess your right don't need it that bad," I sighed grabbing it and setting it back on the wall.
"You're nervous aren't you?" Wally asked
"I have every right to be nervous Wally, anyone of us could not come back from this mission, Me, even you," I stated
"Hey look at me, look at me Dust I'm not going anywhere I'm going to be here the whole time by your side, we're partners we don't give up on each other and we do let the other one die right?" pulling my face to look at his deep emerald eyes I smiled a bit
"Ya your right Wally, we got this in the bag," I nodded
"Atta girl now let's go get some food with the rest of the team," he chuckles
"Is everyone here?" I ask walking through the door way with him
"Steve, Clint, Natasha, your sister, tony, Banor and Thor came," he states
I grinned running towards the kitchen to see everyone sitting at the table getting the food ready.
"Hey there she is Sparky has come to eat with us," laughs Tony
"I wouldn't miss out on any food," I grinned
"Neither would I," Wally zooms in.
'Wally's right nothing bad will happen tomorrow I need to stop worry so much about it, we've been on worse missions and still have come back from them even in worse shape than we have when we were with young justice'
The next day
Suiting up in my outfit, I slid my bow and arrows on my back and slid on my mask. Walking out to see my sister leaning against the wall.
"Hey," I smiled
"I'm only going to say this once baby girl, I love you and so does everyone else in this base does too, you and Wally. So you better come home I can't lose my baby sister, you're the only thing that keeps me going here, so please come back," she says while hugging me tightly.
I stepped back and nodded my head.
"I won't let you down sis I'll show you I'm as powerful as you are," I grinned
"I know you are," she laughs
"Dust we need to go now," says Wally
I nodded and ran after him quickly to get to the hanger so he could run us there. As soon as we got there it was right on cue for us to jump in I flipped down next to Nightwing and Wally racing right next to me.
"Hey there Manny you miss me," taunts Kf
I smirked and crossed my arms narrowing them at the light and the reach. The brain started to glow and the opening hatch came open and all these guys in black suits came down. Blue, Beastboy, Lagann, popped out of their outfits and the fight began. Flipping over some of the bad guys I sent shock waves at them sending them over the cliff. I was about to run when more came but a blur of red and yellow came out of nowhere and popped the smoke grenades.
"You know I think you like trying to blow people up with grenades," I laughed looking at Kf
"Babe come on I have more class than that," he winks at me
Getting back into the fight more of our friends came to help. I ran to Artemis' side to help her out.
"Out of everyone I get you to help me?" she asked
Narrowing my eyes "dude be lucky I came to help the team, we need to get past this and…" I stopped to see Black Beatle stab one of his own comrades, he goon came running at us knocking us out of the way grabbing his master before he fell and shot his grabbling hook. I ran and jumped at him only to get kicked down and caught by Kf.
Setting me down we got surrounded by more bad guys.
"I so wanna kiss you right now or killing you for almost getting yourself hurt again," he states
"Awe come on KF you can decided later when we are finally alone," I winked at him
"Are you being serious right now, no joking," he gaped at me
I laughed before knocking some of the bad guys down, turning my attention to more of the bad guys I felt something slice my back. I gasped and fell to the ground, turning around to see none other my teammate.
"Artemis why?" I cried out
"Because I'm tired of coming in second place for Wally, and maybe once you're out of the picture he'll just come back to me," she smirks with her eyes narrowed down.
"Really that's your real reason to switch sides on us, because of your hate for me and love for Wally?" I growled trying to ignore the feeling in my back, my eyes turning pink as for my hair also.
Getting up I started to fight her at hand to hand combat but also it didn't help she had a sword to have the upper hand. Slicing my cheek I kicked her in the gut and sent her back with a blast.
Seeing her slump to the ground I saw that everyone else was done with the bad guys, I turned my attention to Wally. He grinned at me but it started to change, I was confused shouldn't he be… a sharp pain went through my stomach, I let out a yelp falling to the ground.
"Sparks! Artemis no! why would you do that?" I hear Wally ask
"You know why if you just woul've stayed with me this wouldn't have to happen," she growled I heard a smack and something hit the ground.
"What she was annoying me," says Wondergirl
"Dust," I hear Wally whisper before picking me up and turning me towards him
"H-H-Hi," I gasped the pain was a lot for me
"You're going to be ok, I'm going to get you to a medic soon," his voice is shaky.
"Don't be scared Kf I'm ok," I whispered feeling darkness consume me.
"SPARKS!"
A Day Later
I woke from the sound of beeping, I groaned and turned to see I was hooked up to a machine. Looking to see Wally right next to me still in his suit. I looked at the clicker next to me and chucked it at his chest waking him up instantly.
He jumped and looked around all freaked out but when his eyes landed on me it was like relief all over his face.
"Your awake," he whispers
"I'm awake, feel a lot better," I grinned
"Areyousure? Areyouinanypain? Whyaren'tyouansweringme!"
"Woah Kid give her a break she just woke up," laughs Barry
"Oh Sorry Dust," he blushes
"I'm fine Wally, no pain at all and thanks Barry he seems to keep doing that a lot to me," I smiled
"No problem Kid, brought you some clean clothes and I'm taking my so…nephew so you can have privacy," he states
"But Uncle Barry come on," Wally whines while he's being pushed out.
I shook my head and laughed covering up that he almost called him son, I mean come on Barry I'm pretty sure Wally would be ok with it. After taking my shower and rebadging my stomach I walk out to see that there's whispering with Dick and Wally and Aqualad and Blue Beetle.
"Uh guys what's going on?" I asked
They turned to me and had a sad look on their face, "The War is not over just yet, are you well?" asked Aqualad
"Ya of course, I'm not letting you guys have all the fun, and before you say anything Wally I'm fine, I have you to watch my back," I smirked
"Right get suited up and let's get going," says Nightwing
I nodded my head turning back to the bed room and grabbed my clothes and put them on, this is the final battle. Walking out I stared at them while they looked at me, 'Well let's get going,"
I listened to the whole speech on what we have to do, I looked at Kid and knew he wasn't going to let me go with anyone else.
"Ladies and Gentlemen the fate of our world is in your hands," says Lex Luthor
Paris that's our spot, so here we are dealing with these droids KF is trying to get close to them, shooting my bow and arrow was making no effect on them, I growled when one of them snapped my bow.
"Seriously this was my brand new bow," I growled making one out of my electricity and shooting electric arrows a blast went off sending me flying into Kid's arms.
"Awe zee Eiffel tower and zee ever so romantic city of lights, we're defiantly coming back here babe, you know when we don't have a world to save," saying in a French accent
"I hate to break it to you KF there's always going to be a world to save, now drop me and go," I stated sending a shock wave the knocked out the power in the droids.
I watched at Wally put the thing to the thing, turning to my radio," Omega squad…" that was all I could say as Wally shoved his lips on mine, my eyes widen before closing kissing him back.
"Omega squad repeat transmission, ooomeaga?"
My eyes widen before shoving him off, "uh we're here um it's done in um Paris," I stuttered looking at Wally with his goofy grin on his face.
Getting back to the watch tower, I stared at the screens as we save the world, the flash and impulse went to the last one but reported it was too late. Listening to Atom talk, I bit my lip before asking Wally.
"Do think it will be enough?" I asked turning to see him walk through the zeta tube.
"Recognize kid flash bo3"
"Wally?" I whispered
I looked at Dick and he looked at me, "time to go," he says running towards the ship.
Getting to our destination I watched as the shut it down, but something felt wrong though.
"Sixteen seconds," I hear Blue whisper
I turned and looked at him and then back at where Wally was, I watched as the energy hit Wally because he was slower than the others, I stepped forward but Dick stopped me.
"Dick something doesn't feel right at all," I whispered
"Everything is going to be ok," he states
It finally disappeared, I smiled and ran towards them, with M'gann along my side.
"They did it Dusty," she laughed
I stopped when the dust disappeared, I kept looking around but he was missing. I turned back to Barry his look on his face and Bart's said it all.
"Congratu…Wait! Where's Wally," I interrupted turning around to the whole team
"Dusty I, he wanted me to tell you that he loved you," said Barry walking towards me putting his hands on my shoulders
"No, no, no, no!" I screamed falling down to the snow
It was like something in me finally snapped without wally being here it was like a huge whole in my heart. I felt like I couldn't breathe at all, and I shook like crazy.
"Dusty?" I hear Dick ask
"Leave!" I screamed sparks coming off of me and around me
"No Dust we can't…Just go!" I screamed sending a wave knocking them back
"Kid do as she says she'll be alright," says Barry
I hear them walk off and fly away, I finally let go of everything and I screamed everything went pink. All the years I've known him it went through me it was like it was on replay from beginning to end.
Dick's pov
I watched as the Artic glowed pink, I stared at it feeling my own tears wanting to come down. I picked up my phone and called the one person I knew to call.
"Hello?"
"Uh hey Alyssa its um Dick, there was a problem in the final battle," I state with a shaky voice
"What! Is Dusty ok?! What about Wally? Are they ok?" she asked
"Dusty she's fine, kinda I guess maybe not as for Wally he uh didn't make it," I cracked at the end.
"Your not serious are you?" I could hear the pain in her voice
"No Alyssa I'm not joking, he's really gone," I shook with tears at the brim of coming down.
"Where's my sister I want to talk to her now," she states
"She's not with us, she made us leave her in the Artic, I'm afraid her power is about to explode it completely pink over there," I stated
"Ok dick thank you so much um I'm so sorry I will talk to you later," she says before hanging up.
I leaned my head against the wall and let the tears fall I didn't care who saw at this moment.
FOX POV
Getting off the phone with Dick I felt tears in my eyes, couldn't believe it he was gone. I turned to the team that was right there with me. I cough and looked up, "Uh guys so listen you know that my sister went on a mission to save the world with her old team for last time sakes, well there was a problem in the end, Wally uh…He didn't make it in the end," I stated with my voice all shaky
There were gasps all around and no's, "My sister is still in the artic…Fox we need to talk," interrupts Fury walking in turning on the screen. It was where my sister was the power readings were off the hook. At this rate she could blow up the whole area, we need her to calm down we're sending all of you there to help just in case.
Getting to the artic was hard, with the waves of energy surging in the area was getting worse, and I took off with Cap right behind me.
"Dusty!" I screamed "Dusty it's your big sister, I'm here for you, it's going to be ok,"
DUSTY'S POV
I couldn't control it anymore my powers they wouldn't stop, this place was going to be gone with me in it.
"Dusty!" I hear my sister scream "Dusty it's your big sister, I'm here for you, it's going to be ok,"
"No it's really not going to be ok," I cried before calming down and feeling my sister's arms around me.
"Its ok baby girl I got you, everything is fine," she says holding me tightly
"No it's not Wally is gone for good," I screamed and cried "He's gone! He's gone! Gone! Gone!"
FOX'S POV
She just kept on screaming he was gone and it broke my heart completely. I looked up to see steve walk towards us, he crouched down and knocked my sister out.
"Steve!" I yelped
"She needed to rest let's get back to the base now," he states getting up
Barton came running over to me and picking her up, his look on his face also broke my heart. Getting back to the base, Barton put her in her room and walked out to the rest of the team to talk. I stood against the wall, just not listening to the whole thing. I watched at a couple hours later Barton went to go check on her but came back freaking out that she was not in her room. Everyone started to freak out but I knew where she went.
"Guys stop I know where she is," I growled walking to the room a few down from her and opened it I saw her laying on the bed holding Wally's shirt.
"He's really gone Alyssa, I never got to tell him I loved him," she whispered holding the shirt for dear life.
I let out a sob just from the look on her face and the fact he was gone, Steve came up to me and held me as I cried silently.
He's gone…
