AN: Okay, I did say that I have finals this week, but I have no idea that we had a holiday squeezed right in the middle of it. Besides, I already finished this chapter^^ And the next one is half done, so expect some cameos from canon characters.

Shout out to the following reviewers, I am so giddy it stopped on my favorite number.

ShiiroiKitsune21: Ohoho, Naruto wont appear for a long while^^ and Gai would come in sooner. Hehe, I like to place Kakashi in a situation similar to a country bumpkin, as most people would like to say.

Yungsun: Nope^^

Xeraphina Laurentia: The temptation of perversity was strong on that part. Yes, 'Jiraiya' is here.

Guest: Wrong^^ haha, just read on and you'll see.

RICEBALL300: Haha, your name reminds me of a machine, I don't know why, but it does^^ read on.

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.

Kakashi eyed the students, noting the dissimilarities from their appearances in his timeline. He was pretty sure that their names were different. Though, he'd give his suspicions the benefit of the doubt seeing as Itachi had retained his name while Tsunade did not.

Appearance wise, the pair of students had retained their facial features. Heck, even their sheepish reactions were similar from what his memories provided him.

For one, Umino Iruka did not have a scar running across his nose bridge. His complexion could now rival a vampire and the once skinny kid he remembered from his ANBU days had been changed into a form fitting one, nearly as fit as a genin. Kakashi didn't have any idea what physical activities the school had in Elementary but nevertheless it gave the still brunet a good physique.

Although, that might've been because Iruka now had parents watching over him this time. Being an orphan could do a lot of damage if no one was watching over you.

Another thing that made him blink twice was the hair of the once Chunin; it was cut raggedly, almost rivaling him in the 'spikey' department.

And, Mitarashi Anko... well the changes were a lot. The pale features he remembered on the fellow Jounin had now turned into a healthy tan- it seemed the world liked to mix things up a bit. The amber eyes he remembered had changed into a dark blue and the girl's hair had also changed into black- though the style was nearly the same except for the bangs which were cut into a straight line just above the eyebrows.

Anko, Anko... was very short.

Kakashi had to stifle his laughter as he looked at the girl who was nearly the same height as him. Despite being a mere five year old, Kakashi had grown taller in just a short time, -it helped that he could somewhat direct his chakra towards his growth- making his own height a bit above average when compared to a regular kid in his age group. Though his figure was still small enough to make an adult realize that he was younger.

Anko on the other hand seemed to have gotten the short end of the stick. Literally. If his assumptions were right, the pair would be in the Third Grade and Iruka had reached the four foot mark, the average height for eight year old; Anko was just about 3 foot and four while he was an inch taller than her.

"Well?" Glass prompted, raising an eyebrow, though the small fond expression on her eyes told him that those two met with the principal a lot.

"Our little troublemakers here managed to sneak in the kitchen," the teacher -Jonathan Mchein if he remembered correctly,- took the chance to answer.

"And let me guess, little Sophie made a three course meal?" Glass continued.

Kakashi raised an eyebrow. 'Sophie?' He thought in amusement. Oh, This would be a great piece of blackmail if Anko met her alternate version.

"And Iruka helped...erm eating it." Jonathan added a small smile of amusement, which immediately changed into a frown. "Along with having a food fight."

The principal sighed and beckoned the two students closer. "The damages?" She asked.

"Two stoves and a pair of deflated nurse bots."

Kakashi watched as the two students walked hesitantly towards the principal, making Kakashi incline his head. Sure enough, the second that 'Sophie' and Iruka were just a foot away from the brunette, Glass' hand reached out and pinched the cheeks of the duo.

"Ow!" Came the simultaneous protests from the students.

"I understand that your stomach are a vast void of hunger, but couldn't you two wait until lunch?" Glass reprimanded, a bulge of veins ticking right beside her brow. "And it's just the first day of school!"

"We're sorry!" Iruka manage to plead through stretched lips. "But we were late this morning and were hungry."

"You've got snack time," Glass retorted.

'Sophie' on the other hand took another route to end the suffering of their plump cheeks.

"Miss Glass, who is he?" She asked while pointing a hand at him.

"Yo," Kakashi greeted, hoping that interacting with his time's colleagues would end the pinching. He knew how much painful it could be just from his experience with her aunt and doctor.

Giving a sigh, Glass released her hold and the two quickly rubbed their cheeks with a grimace on their features. Kakashi eye-smiled as the actions reminded him of his genin.

"I'm Hatake Kakashi," he introduced, his eye-smile still in place.

"Is he in pre-school?" Iruka asked leaning down to his height, brown eyes held a curious look.

"Not anymore," Kakashi replied. His words made the students and the teacher glance at the principal in question.

"Kakashi here is in the Advanced Program." Glass added. Her explanation made the teacher nod in understanding, while the other two blanched.

"He's not like Itachi, is he?" Sophie asked a small pout on her features.

Kakashi hid his surprise at the negative reaction. What did the Uchiha do to make the two react like that to him? Being in the Advanced Program was not that bad, is it?

"You'll be the judge of that," Glass vaguely commented, a small teasing smile on her lips.

Kakashi did not appreciate the 'mystery' that the principal tagged to him, since Iruka and Sophie were now looking at him with wariness.

"Maa, I haven't done anything bad to the two of you," Kakashi protested, hoping that at least he could have a connection with the two.

"Hmph," Sophie grumbled. "Itachi tried that route, pipsqueak. I won't fall to that pleading look again."

"Pipsqueak?" Kakashi parroted in an offended tone. "You're shorter than me."

"I-well-," Sophie tried to retort. A blush started on her cheeks as she realized that she was looking up. "Well you're younger than me! So I got seniority."

Kakashi blinked, well, a point for the girl.

"Miss Glass, what grade is he in?" Iruka asked somewhat unaffected by the banter. That's...somewhat new; Kakashi could've easily gotten under their skin back in his world.

"He's an irregular, though Kakashi manage to get into Middle School," Glass offered.

"What!?" Surprisingly it was the teacher who had the highest volume. "But- but that's impossible! Itachi only jumped to Third Grade no one can have that level of intellect that age! He's just- just-"

"Five," Kakashi supplied.

"Five!" Jonathan repeated.

"I saw his results with my eyes, Joe. Don't make me stare at it again," Glass chided, a small smile of pride in her voice. "That reminds me, contact the teachers and tell them that we have a meeting at five."

"Yeah."

"Now," Glass added.

"Yeah, now...now?"

"Yes." A long-suffering tone was added to that single syllable.

"Right," Jonathan nodded and went inside the principal's office. The white robot tagged along with the man.

Kakashi pulled his attention off the brunette when he saw Iruka and Sophie walking discreetly towards the elevator. He might have started with a blank page in this world, but that wouldn't stop him from being a bit antagonistic towards the duo.

When Glass' eyes directed themselves to his form, Kakashi quickly pointed at the duo.

"As for the two of you," Glass smirked. Kakashi turned a blind eye towards the fact that he'd helped, but watched in satisfaction as the two froze on their spot. "You've got detention."

"Tsk, so close," Sophie whispered as she and her partner dejectedly ambled their way back.

Kakashi stared at the mess. There were half eaten bones, scattered on the floor, two stoves that were clogged by something he didn't want to touch and bits of rice and other leftovers were scattered all over the tables. Oddly, there were bits of white rubber within the mess. Picking up one, he looked at the object closer and felt the vinyl glide smoothly along his fingers.

Somehow, the feeling reminded him of the word 'balloon'. Kakashi was very confused, but on hindsight he should have let the two sneak out earlier; it wouldn't have dragged him in this problem.

"Can someone please remind me why I got detention?" He asked, hoping that somewhere in the previous minutes, his mind would let the principal's words sink in.

"You were late," Iruka deadpanned, the look of disbelief is still on his face even after their ride in the elevator. "By three hours...how the heck did you do that?"

"I got... lost?" Kakashi lied.

His just only added confusion to the older kid.

"Hah, so much for being in the Advance Program," Sophie jeered, her 'all mighty' look impaired by the pair of buckets she was holding along with a mop. The image was very funny considering the height of the girl.

Kakashi was surprised to see the cleaning materials but he guessed that manual labor was the worst chore that a futuristic world could place on a troublemaker.

"Why?" Iruka pressed on as he pulled a broom from the storage cabinet a few feet away.

Kakashi shrugged and took the mop from the only girl in their group.

"I walked to school," he added as he began to mop. He found the small movement relaxing, as it had been long time since he'd done any manual labor. Besides, the slow back-and-forth movement reminded him of his katas.

"You walked?" Iruka asked. "There's a lot of transportation in the city."

"Walking is healthy," he reasoned. Iruka rolled his eyes, growing hopeless as each question was answered.

"But, if you keep that up, you're going to be late," Sophie piped in.

"Then I'll run," Kakashi added, and received an exasperated reaction from the two. Well, he couldn't help that he's uncomfortable with the transportation in this world, shinobi paranoia and all that.

And besides having any sort exercise in the morning would greatly help his stamina.

Kakashi momentarily paused in his duty as his mind helpfully supplied that the three of them had company. "Why are we cleaning?"

A long-suffering sigh erupted together from the older kids and Sophie added a glare after his question.

"Are you really in the Advanced Program?" Sophie voiced out while placing her hands on her hips.

"Yes, but why are we cleaning?" Kakashi repeated as he glanced at his father's summon. "I got a summon here to do the work."

Iruka blinked and turned his head to look at the stationary black robot at the door. Sophie quickly got his line of thought and grinned, so similar to the Anko he'd known.

"Hah, I'm liking you more by the hour, Kakashi," Sophie loudly proclaimed and awkwardly patted his hair. She dropped her bucket and sponge and sat on one of the chairs near a counter filled with half prepared meals. It was nearing lunchtime.

"Wait- but. Sophie," Iruka tried to reason out, but it seemed that the majority won after Kakashi unceremoniously dropped his mop.

"Take it easy, Iruka. Miss Glass didn't tell us to personally clean the mess," Kakashi said and followed the girl. "Kuro can you please clean the mess?" He ordered the black bot.

Without a word of agreement, the robot quickly took over their chore.

"Yeah, she just said to make the kitchen spotless," Sophie supplied and waved at the tallest kid to join.

"Well..." Iruka started, a contemplating look on his pale features. He then gave a shrug and let his broom lean on one of the counters. "Why not?"

As soon as the third member of their detention group was with them, Kakashi swiftly pulled out his FlatPad and opened the lessons. If he went by the schedule than his first class tomorrow is History. With a few of blunders, he finally managed to locate the PDF and began to read the first chapter.

"What are you doing?" Sophie asked after she realized that she and Iruka had not brought their gadgets along with them.

"Reading." Came the obvious reply.

"What are you reading."

"History."

"Why?"

"Advanced reading for tomorrow."

"..."

"..."

"Kakashi..."

Giving a sigh, Kakashi closed the file and held the device closer to the raven. That seemed to make Sophie stop pestering him.

"Cool, you got the newer version," Sophie happily commented as she began to scour his device.

"Is she that bad?" Kakashi whispered to the amused Iruka.

"You don't know the half of it," Iruka snorted and tapped one of the tiles.

"Hey!"

"Be careful with that, it's not yours," Iruka reminded and got an eye roll for it.

With the tiniest member of the group sufficiently distracted, Kakashi finally got to ask why he'd gotten a negative reaction just from a simple relation with the Advanced Program. The thought kept bugging him.

"So, what kind of guy is Itachi?" He asked, the question was the first 'normal' one he'd made, if the rising eyebrow gave any indication.

"Well...To be blunt, Itachi is a brat," Iruka muttered a frown on his features. "Though he was pretty adorable at first."

Kakashi rubbed his ear, pretty much deaf when he heard the words 'adorable' in relation to the Uchiha. His actions, however, went ignored by the older kid.

"He joined us in the last semester of Second Grade; he was supposed to get in the Third but Miss Glass insisted that he'd be with our class." The brunet shrugged. "Itachi was just six when he advanced and the rest of us got the feeling of being an older sibling of sorts."

"Yeah, right," Sophie sneered, glancing up from Kakashi's device. "Itachi-chan got to be the adorable 'sibling' in our class...and a week after his transfer, everything went downhill."

Ho, Itachi? Bratty? Nothing made sense, but Iruka and Sophie's words spoke the truth. Kakashi, as always, reserved his judgment and gave a benefit of doubt on his past kouhai.

"He's a spoiled rotten kid, no one had any idea when they had fallen for his puppy eyes but we did. He was supposed to be a genius, but in the end we were the one who finished his assignments," Iruka huffed while running a hand through his locks. "It started with small favors, just some minor questions on tests, but it quickly went overboard."

"Overboard?" Kakashi mused. Despite getting the initial statements from his 'witnesses', he slightly admired the Uchiha for manipulating a whole class. Even without chakra, the cunningness of the clan seems to be in this world as well.

"Yup," Sophie sighed. "We don't know how, but during the final exams we were too caught up with Itachi's favors that we unknowingly let him copy our answers."

"And you got the blame?" Kakashi asked, now getting the whole picture. As a shinobi, that was a very easy route to pass through a test. Nevertheless, that one had a lot of drawbacks.

A whole class turning against you for one.

Shaking his head at the information, Kakashi leaned back on his chair and lazily took a bowl from the counter across him. The robot cooks didn't seem to mind.

Iruka nodded and glanced at Kakashi's actions.

"I'm hungry," He offhandedly said.

"You're gonna have take that mask off, pipsqueak," Sophie commented. "Why are wearing one anyways?"

"Allergies," Kakashi said, using his lie earlier. He subtly looked at Kuro and saw that the bot had already finished cleaning the mess and was walking towards them. He prepared himself for the right moment.

"Kakashi, the area is already clean," Kuro intoned suddenly, quickly attracting the attention of the pair of students.

Iruka and Sophie gaped at the spotless kitchen. They were so surprised at the efficiency of the black summon; it wasn't even past the three minute mark! The duo turned their heads back to him and their jaws had impossibly opened wider.

"Wha- how?" Sophie stared wide-eyed at the empty container while Iruka stared at him as if he was a hybrid of a vacuum and a human.

"Secret." Kakashi spoke and placed a 'silence' gesture before his masked face and a pair of eyes curved upwards in a smile.

AN: I noticed that some of you got the idea of relating the Elementary level with the genins, mostly Naruto and Sasuke. This is an alternate dimension/timetravel, there is bound to be some drastic changes^^

Also, if you would like to help me get a new name for the following characters, that might appear in the future, or you want them to retain their name:

Jiraiya

Naruto

Sasuke

Sakura

Yamato/Tenzo

Gai

The Konoha 9

Asuma

Kurenai

Minato

Kushina

And other characters that I forgot, but still got the chance for a cameo.

Lastly, a cookie for those who got the hint on the 'balloon', I was expecting that someone would call out a referral to the 'nursebot'. Anyway, drop a review~

PS. Do you want a pairing for this story?
