Elena stared up at Elijah, speechless. Why hadn't he said something sooner if he had known.

"Elena, I'm sorry I didn't tell you. But somebody I had keeping an eye on everything here, told me what Klaus had done and I nearly lost it. I rushed to the hospital about the time Dr. Fell got to you. She was ready to give you Damon's blood...but I stopped her and compelled her to give you mine. Since its a pure blood it heals faster. I just...I had to know that you were safe." He said, moving to sit beside her again.

She met his gaze, processing what all was going on. His blood had turned her. He had saved her, because he cared.

"Please say something," he said softly.

"I don't know what to say," she whispered.

"I understand if you're mad because I kept it from you. But I refuse to apologize for doing it. I just couldn't bea-" she cut him off by pressing her lips against his.

When she pulled away she smiled softly, cupping his face in her hands.

"I'm not mad. I'm touched. You cared what happened to me, even after everything with your mother," she said softly.

"I have cared...I cared about you even before then." He declared quietly.

Elena felt the butterflies flutter in her stomach at that confession. She smiled, her breath catching in her throat when he leaned in towards her. Every time they had kissed before, she had been the one to initiate the contact. When his lips met hers, her hands slid into his hair, gripping the short brown locks.

His own hands slid to her hip, gripping them tightly. When his tongue traced her lower lip, she opened her mouth. As soon as the kiss deepened, he pulled her closer so that she was nearly on top of him.

Elena continued to kiss him, swinging a leg over his lap to straddle him. She felt her insides catch fire as he drug her bottom lip between his human teeth. She hissed out, gyrating her center against the bulge in his pajama bottoms.

He pulled back, looking up at her. His gaze slid over her eyes, darkened with lust. Down to her lips, red and swollen from the force of his kiss. Then down to her heaving chest. Still, she hasn't gotten used to the not needing to breathe as a vampire.

Elena sent him an innocent look before rolling her hips slightly. She felt him shudder at the movement, and repeated it. His hands tightened on her hips so tight, had she been human it would have bruised. He then used his speed and strength to flip them over.

She gasped when he pressed her into the mattress, his hands gripping the insides of her thighs as he placed hot kisses along the side of her exposed neck.

Elena wrapped her legs around his waist, her head tilting back to give him better access. When his hands came to the bottom of her shirt, she lifted her arms and nodded. He slowly pushed it up, his eyes taking in every inch of exposed skin.

After her shirt was off, he tossed it to the side. He kissed her once more, hands skimming the soft skin of her stomach. When they reached the lacey bra she wore, he slid his hands around to her back, reaching for the clasp.

"You two had better not be doing what I think you are!" Rebekah's voice rang from down the hallway. "We do have supernatural hearing you know."

Elena looked at Elijah, biting her lip. He sighed, resting his forehead on her collarbone. She couldn't help but giggle slightly. Sure it was embarrassing, but also a little funny.

When she felt a nip at her collarbone, she gasped. Elijah looked up at her with a smirk before leaning up and kissing her again. His hands slid into her hair, tangling in the long locks.

Elena moaned quietly, letting herself get lost in the kiss. She felt the bloodlust start to take over, her fangs dropping.

"Focus, Elena. Don't think about the blood," he said, kissing along side of her neck again before slowly pulling away. He settled into the pillows, pulling her snug against him.

Elena did as he instructed, focusing on him. The way his strong arms wrapped around her. The way he seemed to fit perfectly behind her as he spooned her. Pretty soon, her fangs were gone as was her bloodlust.

He placed a kiss to the back of her head before slowly releasing her. "I realize you probably don't have any pajamas, so I set something out for you in the bathroom. Then if you like, I can show you to a guest room..." He said, trailing off to let her know she did have another option.

Elena nodded, and flashed into the bathroom. She pulled on the shirt he'd laid out, leaving the pants on the counter. She combed her fingers through her hair, biting her lip.

She then walked back into the room, crawling on the bed and snuggling into him. "I wanna sleep here," she murmured, smiling when his arms came around her.

"As you wish," he said, kissing her forehead gently.

She leaned up, kissing him again. She was beginning to think she was getting addicted to his kisses.

He cupped her face, deepening the kiss as his tongue slipped through her lips. He stroked her tongue with his own, his hand tugging her hair slightly. When she gasped, and wiggled against him at the action, he smirked. He would have to remember that for later.

When he pulled away, he rested his forehead against hers. "We should probably go to sleep, because if we don't now..we won't get any," he said, giving her a look that made her toes curl.

She nodded and snuggled into him once more, letting her eyes slipper closed. With his scent and his arms surrounding her, she fell asleep fairly quickly.

Elena sighed, walking along Wickery Bridge. She stared at water below, swallowing hard. The thought of the water was enough to make her nearly go into a panic attack.

"You know that you should have died here...right?" A voice said from behind her.

Elena spun around, seeing Pastor Young standing there. She shook her head, taking a step back.

"You are dead! Leave me alone!" She cried, shaking her head and starting to walk away.

"But Elena...he is right," another voice said, stopping her. She spun around, seeing one of the founding family members from the farm.

"My wife and I used to babysit you...and you killed me." He said, shaking his head. "You should have died here with your parents. None of the supernatural stuff would have happened, if you had."

Elena clutched her stomach, letting a sob wrack her body. They were right, she knew that. But what could she do now?

The sobs continued to wrack her body, as she tried to block their voices out. When she felt herself being shaken, she screamed.

"Elena!" Elijah's voice brought her out of the nightmare. She looked up at his concerned face.

She pulled herself into sitting position, wiping the tears from her cheeks. She tried to calm her emotions, telling herself it was just a dream. Her guilty conscious playing tricks on her. But it had felt so real, it made Elena shiver slightly.

"Another nightmare?" He asked, gently brushing a piece of hair behind her ear.

Elena nodded, noticing that she was still trembling slightly. She gladly let him wrap his arms around her, and murmur softly in her ear that everything was okay, that it wasn't real.

After she had calmed down a bit, she pulled away from him slightly. "I'm going to go take a shower...I will be back," she said quietly, sliding off of the bed.

Elijah watched her leave and frowned. Sighing, he stood up, and stripped the sheets from his bed. She had been sweating during her nightmare, which was odd since she was a vampire. Vampires didn't sweat unless something was wrong, such as a werewolf bite.

He quickly changed the sheets, and then grabbed another shirt for her to wear. He opened the bathroom door, and placed it on the counter.

He then made his way towards his study, mulling over everything. She hadn't told him what the nightmares were about, but considering the fact that she hadn't started having them until after the Young Farm ordeal, he could only guess. He wondered if it were just her conscious getting to her, or something more.

Elena stepped out of the shower, wrapping herself in a towel. On the counter was another shirt, which caused her to smile. She quickly dried off and then pulled the shirt on over her head. She then pulled the pants on she had neglected earlier.

Stepping into the bedroom, she saw that he had changed the sheets, but he wasn't in there anymore. She stepped out of the room, and made her way down the stairs. She wandered from room to room, looking for the kitchen. Surely they would have blood bags there.

Just as she rounded the corner, she collided into another body. The person reached out, steadying her.

"Really Elena? Must you be such a klutz?" Rebekah's drawled, raising an eyebrow.

"Sorry," the brunette mumbled, casting her eyes downward. She was still pretty upset over the dream, and didn't feel like having it out with the blonde, despite the fact that they weren't as hateful towards as they used to be.

The blonde seemed to study her before sighing. "Follow me," she said, taking the brunettes arm. She pulled her into the kitchen, a room the brunette had already bypassed.

Rebekah opened a cabinet door, and then a mini fridge door behind that. She pulled out two blood bags and handed one to the brunette. She then grabbed two glasses and placed them on the island counter. She slid into the seat in front of the island, motioning to the sear beside her.

Elena hesitated only a minute before sliding into a seat herself. She did the same with the blood, feeling the bloodlust swimming under the surface. She swallowed hard, trying to focus on something other than the smell. She slowly lifted the glass, taking a small sip.

"So, what has you so wound up so tightly?" Rebekah asked after a moment.

Elena sighed, staring at the blood. "It might be nothing...its just ever since the Young Farm, every time I sleep, Pastor Young is in my dreams. This time there was one of the other people I killed..." She said, swallowing back the fresh round of tears that stung her eyes.

"I remember the first person I killed," Rebekah said softly, "it was a girl in our village. She was around my age."

"Did you know her well?" Elena asked softly.

"She was a complete bitch to me. My father Mikael was a wealthy land owner, but was also a pompous ass. Not many people liked him, and by default disliked his children as well. But still, I was the one who killed her." Rebekah said, shrugging slightly.

"I'm sorry," Elena said quietly, causing Rebekah to scoff quietly.

"How can you do that? Its not your fault," Rebekah said, tiling her head to look at the brunette.

"But I still feel sorry you had to go through that. I guess I just hate for people to hurt." She said, shrugging slightly.

Rebekah studied her for a moment before sighing. "I never did say it, but I am sorry for what I did to you. I am just a bitch. My pride was wounded, and I guess I hold grudges a little too seriously."

"I forgive you. I guess I can understand where you were coming from. If I watched what I thought was my brother dying, and had a chance to do away with the person who killed him, I would probably have done so by any means necessary."

Rebekah sent her a soft smile, the first real non hesitant smile she had ever given the girl.

"So, Caroline wants to go to the mall this weekend...and we wanted to know if you would like to come along? It will probably be just us girls," she said, still somewhat hesitant.

Rebekah looked shocked at the idea that she would offer, but a smile quickly broke out across her face. "I would love that," she said, grinning ear to ear.

"Awesome, we will probably leave around noon. It will take an hour or so to get to Roanoke, and then we can shop for a couple hours!" Elena said, feeling a small bubble of excitement bubble under the surface.

Rebekah nodded, finishing her glass of blood. "I do believe my brother has returned to his room, if you want to go back to bed." She said with a wink.

Elena shook her head, trying to ignore the look the blonde sent her. She knew she wasn't going to live down what Rebekah had put a halt on earlier.

Finishing her glass, she placed it in the sink and tossing the bag I'm the trash.

"See you in the morning," Elena said softly, sending Rebekah another smile.

With that, she flashed back up to Elijah's room. He was propped up on the pillows, reading a book. He looked up at her, smirking slightly.

She climbed into the bed, leaning her head on his shoulder. She cast a glance at the page, recognizing the poem instant.

"Auden?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, I do enjoy his poems occasionally."

She smiled, slipping under the blanket and snuggling into him. She laid her head on his chest. "Read it to me until I fall asleep?" She whispered.

"Of course," he said, adjusting himself to wrap an arm around her.

Some say love's a little boy,

And some say it's a bird,

Some say it makes the world go around,

And with that, she drifted off to the sound of his voice.
