My head ached.

A groan slipped from my lips telling of my discomfort.

"Nami!" A voice yelled out. My eye snapped open. The creator! Where is he?

"Oh Nami!" Kichiro muttered grabbing onto me. "you had us so worried, just dropping like that!"

I glanced at Kichiro who was still held onto me. Taiki was here also but he didn't look like the ball of sunshine he normally was.

"Where's Ayumu?" I asked.

"He's in the room next door. That explosion really hurt the kid." Taiki answered. I frowned. I hope he isn't scarred up too much. I looked around at my hospital room. It was as run down as the rest of the town.

"Once Ayumu gets the clear we can leave. Our mission is complete." Taiki said. My head snapped to him.

"But what about that man! The creator!" I yelled panic running through my veins.

"Who?" Kichiro asked. I blinked. They didn't see him?

"Nami, who is this creator?" Taiki asked, his eyes hard and calculating.

I thought for a second. This man, the creator, he said he made me. Was he the reason I was here? I couldn't let anyone know I wasn't from this world. If I did I'd either be marked as crazy or would be sent off to T&I! T&I is not something I want to go through.

"No one." I mumbled. "It must of been a dream."

Taikis eyes didn't lose the hard look but he didn't push the matter.

"Ayumu I'm so sorry!" Kichiro wailed. He was hanging off a bandaged Ayumu. Ayumu's right side was completely burnt from the blast. He had stayed in the hospital for a week before he was able to check out. The faster we got Ayumu to the village the faster he can get help from Iryo-nin.

"It's ok Kichiro. It's not your fault." Ayumu muttered. It might not have been that noticeable but I saw the blush on Ayumu's face. He was enjoying the attention. Kichiro, who had been stuck to Ayumu's side since the accident, seemed oblivious to the feelings Ayumu had for him. It was just about time before I broke and yelled at the two to date already.

I looked away from the love birds, if I watched them any longer I would hurl. I dove inside my mind to think about what happened. These past few years have been crazy; being reborn, learning basic skills and meeting the creator? Maybe I wasn't cut out for this reborn stuff. I don't think I can handle it. I shook my head. Of course I could handle it! I'm Nami for Kami sake!

I looked at my team before me. Team one. Characters I've never seen in the manga or the anime. Why is it I haven't seen any of rookie nine besides Ino? Where's Naruto and Sasuke? Where's Hinata and Kiba? Where are all my favourite characters?
Suddenly a red mask flashed through my memory.

"You have no idea how many times I've bee through this, this meeting, this world. I've seen it all before. But this time I've changed the game!"

Him.

The Creator. He's the reason. He must be meddling with my life! He's keeping rookie nine from me! A growl grew in my throat.

Fine.
I'll befriend Naruto. He can't stop me. I'm not letting him control me! I'm going to meet rookie nine. I'm going to truly fall into the Naruto world.
I'm going to change the game!

"I'm home!" I yelled as I walked into my home. Mother came running to me and swept me into a hug.

"How'd it go my little wave?" She asked as she let go.

"It was fine. Did anything happen while I was gone?" I questioned. I set my mission pack down by the door and strolled into the kitchen.

"NAMI!" A flash of blonde was all I saw before I crashed onto the ground. Ino quickly got off and pulled me to the table where a half eaten cake lay in wait.

"Hello Ino." I greeted. I notice two boys also at the table. One had his head down while the other was devouring a piece of cake.

"This is Choji and Shikamaru, my team mates!" Ino exclaimed. "I had heard you just finished your first C-rank so I had to come over!" I smiled at her and grabbed myself some cake. I sat down next to Choji.

"Hello Choji, Shikamaru." I nodded to the two.

"So today we had to catch that damn cat Tora." Ino began telling the story of her mission. "that thing is crazy! We had to get Shikamaru to use his shadow possession just to get near it!"

I could't help but laugh. Tora was quite the demon. Ino went on with her story and I glanced over to Shikamaru and Choji. Three down and six more to go. Maybe meeting rookie nine will be easier than I think.
