Sailor Justice chapter ten The Planes of Time/ Letting them in

When Oliver walked in to wake the girls up what met his eyes was not what he expected at all. When the girls had woken up, they found a fully grown Serena sitting in a chair with pnk puffy eyes. You could still see the tear tracks from a night's worth of crying. They were now discussing with Luna and Artemis what steps they could take in order to find their missing friends.
"What exactly is going on here, and why are there talking cats in my house?" Asked the blue eyed blonde. Oliver looked like he was on the verge of a panic attack from all the stress he'd been dealing with.
Serena looked at him with large sad eyes. "I met Endymion who said that our friends are not where their supposed to be, and it turns out that someone higher than Darkseid is pulling all the strings."
Ollie coughed uncomfortably. "Well speaking of Darkseid, his men or women I should say, came and attacked Happy Harbor kidnapping Miss Martian. All the guys are shaken up and frustrated, especially Conner."
The girls looked at him in utter astonishment. How was it even possible that they coulda been beaten. "Is he planning on trying to brainwash her?" Asked Kara. "Granny Goodness is amazingly good at that and I'm sure even if she has mind powers, even Megan will fail to fight it off."
"We have to save her!" Exclaimed Rini passionately.
"No one is doing anything." Replied Oliver solemnly. "Let the league handle this, I'm sure we'll be able to rescue her, but since we can't get to Apocalypse you'll just have to wait."
"How can you just sit still!" Mina stood up. The guardian of Love and Beauty leveled her gaze on the Green Arrow. "We have to rescue her at all costs. The scouts can just transport there using our powers."
"No we can't." Serena looked at her passionate friend and daughter with sad eyes. "I don't have enough power or energy to help you guys, and besides that Apocalypse resides in a different dimension, a different plane of time. Just like Endymion."
"I was just about to tell you that." Ollie said amazed. "How did you know."
"Their auras were way different than anyone from this dimension. Even if I only saw them once I was certainly close enough to sense them."
"I see." Oliver stood stroking his goatee staring at the silent girls. Hotaru and Zatana's minds were both mulling over what to do in this situation while Serena sat in sad depression, and Mina and Rini stood in frustration.
The League ordered that the younger team and scouts should just stand down in this situation, even if it was one of their own that was taken. Serena had excepted the fact that she could never be with Endymion again, so she now remained at her normal height. Instead of going to school, she decided that she would go and work at the preschool she had been going to for the past two weeks.
Two weeks later!
Serena woke up, getting out of bed showered and got dressed. Running downstairs she tiptoed into the kitchen grabbing her lunch while making a piece of toast. Quickly she made her way out the door and into the blue convertible that was waiting for her. She had somehow learned to drive much to Oliver's chagrin and was able to driver herself to the school.
Swinging out of the driveway she drove into a small neighborhood and stopped in front of a house. The top rolled down as she waited for the kids inside. Serenity and Joey Wheeler ran out of their house and into the car. Serena went by Miss Serenity Queen, at the school and it had quickly turned into a tradition to pick up these two kids after their mother had failed to take them one day.
"Hey kiddos, how you doing." Serena asked as she made her way out of the neighborhood and onto the quiet morning road.
"I'm doing good." Replied Serenity. "Although Joey is still really tired." She tried elbowing her sleeping brother who let out a loud snore.
"You are one of the most well behaved kids I know." Serena looked at the small girl in the rear view mirror smiling.
Serenity tried to hide a blush. "Your a really nice teacher, even if you are only an assistant. But how come your not going to school."
Serena was quiet for a moment then smiled softly. "Well you see, I don't really thinks I should be in school right now. I would much rather help you guys out with school. I hate math though."
The two Serenity's laughed, and then burst afresh when Joey let out another loud snore. Finally they reached the school and Serenity wapped her brother so he would wake up. Groggily he got up and hopped out the car. They made it safely all the way through lunch, although Serena had to scold Joey several times for talking out of turn, but other than that it went quite well. The cover story for little Serena's disappearance was that she had gone to stay with other relatives.
Serenity, Seto, and Anzu had quickly become her favorite students. Serenity was always polite and did as she was told. Seto was calm and serious, he didn't lie and kept out of trouble except for the occasional scuffles he got into with Joey. Anzu was obedient and treasured her friendship with the Wheeler's very much. She tried getting along with Seto but he was too distant.
"Hey guys what's up?" Serena walked over to the siblings and two friends with a smile. She was monitoring the children during lunch on the playground. Seto was also sitting there with them, much to his annoyance. "Hey why are you so cross Seto?"
Wheeler dragged me over here from where I was sitting along with Tristan." The boy replied. He looked darkly at the blonde and brunette boys as though he was ready to kill.
Inching away from the deathly looking Seto Joey replied. "Well you looked lonely so we thought you might want someone to sit with." Tristan nodded his head vehemently in response.
"I don't want someone who knows nothing about me to bother me." So saying, Seto got up grabbing his lunch, and walked away.
After the school bus had picked up the kids Serena plopped down in a seat next to the other two teachers who were sipping coffee. Looking from one to the other she asked the question that had been bugging her. "How come Seto is always so distant?" The other two teachers Diane and Kevin looked at Serena with troubled countenances. Diane cleared her throat uncomfortable.
"Seto had a younger brother named Mokuba who died in a car accident a few months ago along with three other students, Yugi Muto, and then Ryou Bakura along with his sister Amane Bakura. They transferred here just before Joey and Serenity Tristan as well, so they wouldn't know about it."
Kevin continued. "Anzu used to get along very well with Seto, but when Mokuba died along with his friends he just shut everyone out. He won't talk to us and refuses to get along with any of the other kids."
Serena let out a little gasp. "That's horrible." She sat there for a moment then it hit her. 'That's how I was, and still am. I'm not letting anyone in telling them how I feel. I just go with the flow of things.'
The next day after school Serena sat in her car waiting for Seto to come out. When he finally did she waved to him to come over to her car. "Hey kiddo, I already got your dads permission to take you out so I'm driving you home."
"He's not my dad." Seto replied bitterly, but he got into the car anyways.
After about fifteen minutes of driving nowhere Serena spoke. "I heard about your brother, and friends. I'm really sorry."
"What would you know about it, don't talk about things that don't concern you." He replied.
'Was that a tear in his eye?' The blonde cleared her throat. "I know what it's like to lose people you love, I've lost my parents, and I'm not even sure whether my brother is alive or not. I also know what It's like to lose friends."
"You don't know what its like!" Seto exclaimed sobbing. "They were me friends. I loved them and they died."
Serena stopped the car. They were at the beach near one of Star Labs. "Seto I don't know your own pain, and I most certainly can not tell you to let people in when I myself haven't been able to do that. But I want you to just understand that I DO know what it's like." Serena turned around in her seat, blue meeting blue. "You can tell me what they were like, your parents and brother. All of that, I'll tell you about my friends and family as well."
Seto and Serena exchanged information. They laughed and cried together mingling their pain and sorrow. Serena talked about how she wished she had been nicer to her brother, and more respectful to her parents. Seto talked about how he was always defending his brother and friends. They were weak so he was the strong one and helped them out.
After their conversation Serena drove Seto home, and then went back to the Queen mansion where she spilled her heart out to the scouts and the young league who had come for a visit. It turned into a pity party as Kara and Zatana talked about their family now gone, and Hotaru about her mom. Dick also for once only to Serena later on talked about his parents and how much he missed them.
Queen Serenity paced within the palace walls of where she was hidden worriedly. She was waiting on Kousagi and Pluto to come and talk with her. She had grown extremely worried after she'd finally made contact with Helios. He'd informed her on the scouts disappearance, and after making new discoveries beyond that her fears were growing ever deeper. Turning around she saw her granddaughter and friend.
"Thank goodness you have arrived I'm assuming you got my messages."
"Yes we have." Replied Pluto bowing for her queen.
"What we hoped wouldn't happen has come to pass. The different dimensions are leaking and combining, Mokuba Kaiba and the others were never supposed to die, only Amane Bakura."
"Pardon Grandmother, but they weren't even supposed to enter our dimension, they shouldn't have met my mother either." Spoke up the pink haired Kousagi.
Queen Serenity looked at the child with a rumpled smile. "Yes I know that. I fear someone is tampering with the threads of time, and it most certainly is not Darkseid." She paced again then sat down at a desk letting her head fall into her hands in dejection.
Pluto let out a gasp and looked at Kousagi who had apparently had the very same thought. "My Queen." Pluto wet and knelt at her feet. "Do you think it could possibly be the boy? After you erased everyone's memories of the tragedy the prophecy was supposedly stopped. Could it be he came back in another dimension?"
The Queens face paled considerably. "It just might be. That could also possibly explain what happened to the Scouts. He might have taken them in order to get to her."
Kousagi looked out at the stars. "I pray that he never sets foot in our dimension."
