A/N: I just wanted to say I'm planning something after I update chapter 10 of Dark Reflections... I won't say what it is, but look forward to it... anyways enjoy the next chapter!
Chapter 10: The Battle Finally Begins
Kyoko jumped from rooftop to rooftop knowing this was probably a better way than tacking the surface roads.
She had to stop every now and then to fight a hollow, but there than that she was going at a better pace.
"Where is that idiot." She muttered.
Meanwhile at Urahara's shop, both Tatsuki and Chad watched as Orihime was rolling on the ground moaning in her sleep.
"Should we wake her up?" asked Chad.
"If we do we'll end up ardently head-butting us." Said Tatsuki.
That was when she woke up.
"Oh good morning!" said Orihime.
Have a fun dream?" asked Tatsuki.
"Yeah…" said Orihime responded blushing.
That was when Kisuke came into the room.
"Good all of you are awake." Said Kisuke.
"Who is he?" asked Orihime.
"He's the one Kyoko that was looking for." Said Tatsuki.
"Oh okay." Said Orihime.
"Since she's awake can you explain everything now?" asked Tatsuki.
"Why do we have strange powers and what does Ichigo have to do with this?" asked Chad.
"What Ichigo?" asked Orihime.
Back with Kyoko she noticed that the hollows started headed to where the crack in the sky was.
"Looks like I do have to go there after all." Said Kyoko.
However as she jumped from rooftop to rooftop she noticed Uryu talking to Rukia and Kon in Ichigo's body.
"But I don't intend to let anyone get killed…" she heard Uryu say to them.
That was when he had to dodge Kyoko's spear.
"You don't intend to let anyone die?" asked Kyoko, "That's crap and you know it!"
"What?" asked Uryu.
"I got poisoned by a Hollow if it wasn't for someone somehow getting weird healing powers I would have died…" said Kyoko.
"What?" asked Uryu.
"I'm not telling you." Muttered Kyoko, "You can't protect everyone at once… you might claim that you want to protect people but you know they'll just die… and you don't really care!"
"Hey! I just said that I will protect everyone in this city!" yelled Uryu.
"How do you plan to do that?" asked Kyoko grabbing his collar, "You may claim you're saving people, but what your really doing are letting people die just to prove that your better than Ichigo!"
That was when a large centipede like Hollow appeared, thankfully it was sliced in half by Ichigo.
Kyoko let go of Uryu.
"He'll want a piece of you too… after all you did endanger his friends and family…" said Kyoko.
Uryu began to sweat.
Back at Urahara's shop Kisuke had finished the story, of course the three were in disbelief. Well mostly it was Chad…
"You really don't believe the story." Said Kisuke.
"Well…" said Chad.
"It makes sense…" said Orihime.
"After all we went through… I guess it does." Said Tatsuki.
"But how do magical girls fit into this?" asked Orihime.
Chad was silent on that matter… not revealing if he remembered Kyoko or not…
"Magical girls have nothing to do with the Soul Society, the Soul Society lets them fight Hollows thanks to the fact that they help keep the balance. Kyoko is just one in a long line of Magical Girls that have appeared through out the years… They're not from earth or the Soul Society… it's not my place to say any more beyond that… you have to ask Kyoko yourself." Said Kisuke.
Both Tatsuki and Orihime nodded.
"However we're really here to talk about you got your abilities…" said Kisuke.
He sighed…
"You see while Ichigo has enough power as a soul reaper he can't control hos powers very well. In fact his powers are so concentrated that it effects spirits nearby. The same can be said about the three of you. During the past few months, you have come into contact with Ichigo as a Soul Reaper. Laying deep in souls it awaken an inborn power from within your souls…"
"So we awakened a power because of Ichigo?" asked Orihime.
"Yes…" answered Kisuke.
"I guess the reason why he became a Soul Reaper is because of the fact he can see ghosts." Sighed Tatsuki.
"Oh you do know about that…" said Kisuke.
Tatsuki nodded.
"What happens next it up to you." Said Kisuke, "It doesn't really matter how you got those powers. All that matters what you deiced. You can either choose not to follow their path and stay as you are or you can follow their path… it's all up to you…"
That was when the door opened and the large man came in.
"The sky ridges have began to converge." He said to Kisuke.
"I see." Said Kisuke, "IS everything ready?"
"Yes sir." Responded the large man.
Kisuke began to leave the room.
"Wait…" said Tatsuki.
HE turned at the three.
"Come on…" said Kisuke, "I'm sure you want to see what's really going on with Ichigo… So come see the world you're about to step into and the enemy you might have to fight…"
The three were silent.
Back with the group actually fighting…
"Uryu…" said Ichigo.
"Kurosaki." Said Uryu.
"Excuse me a minute, I have to go pummel this guy…" said Ichigo then he ran over to Kon in his body.
"Where have you been!" demanded Ichigo.
Kyoko face palmed.
"Hey!" said Uryu.
However Ichigo and Kon continued to fight.
"I'm going to end this…" sighed Kyoko.
She walked over to Ichigo and using the blunt end of her spear knocked him in the head.
"What was that for?" asked Ichigo.
"Deal with him later! We still have this guy." Said Kyoko.
"You know you could have dealt with him on your own…" said Ichigo.
"Okay… so you're saying I can handle him?" asked Kyoko.
"Yeah…" said Ichigo.
"Good…" said Kyoko giving an evil smile.
Ichigo shuddered.
"I don't think that was a good idea…" said Kon in Ichigo's body.
Kyoko lengthened her spear, she jumped into the air and tried to stab Uryu but he dodged.
She then seprated her spear and aimed all attacks at Uryu.
"Are you trying to kill me?" asked Uryu.
"No I'm just trying to kick your ass!" yelled Kyoko.
"Is this about you almost dying?" asked Uryu as he dodged another attack.
"This has nothing to do with that!" said Kyoko, "Do you know about Familiars?"
Uryu had heard stories about Witch's Familiars… one of them was that Familiars can seprated from witches and if they killed enough people they could become witches themselves…
His eyes widened as he realized what she meant.
"I was one of those magical girls… after my wish failed I gave up trying to save people… I let countless people die all so I can get grief seeds!"
"I should have known you were that type…" muttered Uryu.
"But you're lower than what I used to be…" said Kyoko, At least I was honest about why I was letting people die… You're pretending it's not happen while trying to prove you're the best!"
"I will save them!" said Uryu.
"Yeah… keep telling yourself that." Said Kyoko giving the harshest glare possible.
Uryu froze at the glare.
"Hey!" yelled Kon, "Look at the cracks in the sky!"
Both Uryu and Kyoko looked at the cracks, which were now gathering at one point.
"Great they're getting worse." Said Kyoko.
"That's not all… take a closer look." Said Uryu.
They saw that Hollows were now headed towards the crack.
Uryu summoned his bow and shot one.
"Hey! We're fighting here!" yelled Kyoko.
"I don't want to fight you… I don't even have a problem with you." Said Uryu as he began to run towards the crack, "I shouldn't have asked you join in the competition. I am the last Quincy and I must prove myself better than Soul Reapers."
"Will you shut up about this…" said Kyoko.
"Unless Ichigo wants to forfeit because you do most of the work than that's fine! I win that contest!" said Uryu.
"She doesn't do all the work!" yelled Ichigo.
"I'm just more experienced than he is…" muttered Kyoko.
That was when Ichigo realized something.
"Wait… did he say last?" asked Ichigo.
"200 years ago the Qunicys were wiped out." Said Rukia.
"What?" asked Ichigo.
"All surviving Qunicys hate Soul Reapers and the origin lies in the fact the fact they were annihilated. 200 years ago they perished at the hands of the Soul Reapers…"
"Seriously! Why didn't' you tell us that sooner?" asked Kyoko.
"I only just learned about it today… however it wasn't a simple choice…" said Rukia, "It was done to prevent the collapse of the universe…"
"What?" asked both Kyoko and Ichigo.
Everything became silent, they knew that this fight became even more completed.
Next Time: With Ichigo and Kyoko knowing the truth about the Quincy they counties their fight with Uryu... however Uryu doesn't care about what happened years ago... and his grudge stems from something more recent... what is it? Find out next time!
