ALLY'S POV:

Ethan?!" I exclaim happily. He turns around, jolting back a bit as he catches my gaze

"Ally?!" he exclaims with a wide smile. As if on instinct I jump out of my seat and run towards him.

AUSTIN'S POV:

I look up from my menu to see a light brown haired man of about average height, standing by the bar. I furrow my brow as Ally jumps out of her seat and plunges into the man's arms. My heart burns a little as he spins her around. No! only I do that! Ok sure I've ever done that before…but it doesn't mean I don't fantasize about it…anyways I called dips!

ALLY'S POV:

"oh my gosh I haven't seen you in years! How have you been" I ask still I slight shock he is here.

"I've been good what about you" I smile

"good" I say. All of a sudden I see Austiin come up from behind. He clears his throat and I turn to him.

"I uh hate to interrupt but um…who are you?" I blush a little, suddenly becoming flustered.

"Oh, Austin this is Ethan…we used to be best friends in elementary school" I introduce, putting one hand on Ethan's arm. I see Austin's eyes dart down at the action for a moment; his eyes harden but I don't think much of it.

"oh is that so" he says. I nod, now feeling a bit awkward. Ethan just looks at me with a confused expression, obviously feeling the tension in the air as well.

"so um…is he your boyfriend" Ethan asks. My face flushes.

AUSTIN'S POV:

Not yet but I have all plans to do so so LEEEAAAAVVVVEEEE!

"no but um..this is Austin….we're um…friends" she says a little indecisively. I furrow my brow. Does she wanna be something more?

"oh ok" he says with a shiny smile. Oh man I just wanna slap that thing right off his face.

"do you…do you wanna sit down" Ally asks him breaking the awkward silence.

"sure" he says giving me an unreadable look. Oh why!

I sigh as I sit down in the booth. This is gonna be a long day.

I exhale slowly to refrain from completely losing it.

"oh Ethan you're so funny" Ally coos I the middle of her mad fit of giggles. Oh come on it wasn't THAT funny.

He smiles ad she starts to blush. No! no no no no noooo! Only I can make her do that! How dare you steal it from me!

"stop" she laughs again hitting his arm playfully. Ok I can't take it anymore.

"Well I'm getting tired of this place I think we better go now" I say standing up. I grab Ally's arm and start to pull her up. She gives me a confused and slightly pissed look before giving in.

"um ok well I'm so happy I ran into you"

"yah me too" he says blushing. Stop…just stop. I swear I'm gonna have a spaz attack if we don't get out of here.

Finally they hug goodbye(barf) then we leave.

"what was that all about" she asks me as we walk away from the cafe. I shrug.

"nothing" she just looks at me not breaking eye contact until she gets an answer she is satisfied with.

"nothing just…are you and Ethan…" I trail off as her eyes widen

"what no….no he's just an old friend I'm not-we're not- like that I mean I haven't even seen the guy in years and-" without thinking I lean forward and place my lips against hers.
