"EVANS?"

James had jumped off the couch and lunged at Peter. Sirius and Remus were taking all their strength to keep James from ripping his head off.

"EVANS!" he screamed again.

"But I didn't ask her!" Peter whimpered. "She asked me!"

"THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY NO?" James took another lunge at Peter, and Sirius almost lost his grip on him. "SHE'S MINE! I THOUGHT I MADE THAT CLEAR!" he tried to make Sirius and Remus loose the grip they had on him. "Getroff me!" he hissed.

"I-I didn't say anything!" Peter squeaked hiding behind the couch, "She said 'Peter! Wanna go to the new years eve party with me?' and I was TRULY going to tell her to go with you, but she didn't give me a chance! I barely opened my mouth before she said 'Yay! Thanks Peter see you then!' I swear I didn't do anything. I just didn't want to be rude! So I guess I'm going with her!"

James had calmed down a little so Sirius and Remus pushed him down on the couch. Peter ran back to the table. Looking over his shoulder every once in a while at James.

James was still very angry. Sirius could see that.

"James..." Sirius started, " Listen. Does this not sound familiar?"

"What? If you referring to the rejections I've-"

"How many times have I gone out with a girl's bestfriend just to get the first girl to fall for me?"

"She's trying to make you jealous, James." Remus said plainly.

Immediately James' anger faded.

"What?" he sputtered

"Jealously is a cruel mistress..." Remus said.

"You mean- she's... It's - she likes me?"

"It sure looks that way doesn't it?"

James smiled wide. "Two can play at this game. "

"Can I go inside Remus? Please?" Maggie said shivering.

"I'm so sorry!" Remus took off his coat and put it on Maggie.

Sirius sighed, "You're gonna get hypothermia..."

"It's fine as long as Maggie doesn't."

Maggie smiled wide.

Sirius, Maylea, Remus, and Maggie had been trudging through the snow for fifteen minutes following James who was going somewhere unknown to all of them.

Sirius heard Maylea's teeth start to chatter next to him. He grabbed her hand and intertwined their fingers. Her cheeks turned a brighter red color. Sirius looked at their fingers. Their hands fit perfectly in one another's, he smiled

"So, where are we going?" Sirius asked.

" You'll see."

Maylea sighed. Sirius noticed she looked like she was getting colder but didn't want to say anything. He took off the scarf he had on and wrapped it around her. She smiled.

"Thanks."

James stopped right before the edge of the grounds.

"James... W-what are we doing here..." Maggie stammered.

"James! Is she? You got her? You're using her?" Sirius said as he came to the realization.

"Padfoot, she's fine with it. You know she totally wants me and Evans together."

Remus' face broke into a huge smile as he too realized, "So you're using her to get to Lily?"

"Wait... Her?" Maylea asked Sirius.

"She's my childhood bestest friend ever! I've seriously known her since the day she was born! Remember I'm two months older than her!"

"What's 'her' name?" Maggie asked.

Suddenly there was a crack as a boy and a girl aperated right outside the grounds.

"IZZY!" the three marauders shouted at the same time.

"Thanks Dylan." she said as the boy dissaperated.

Sirius let go of Maylea's hand and ran to give the girl a hug.

The girl had bright purple hair, she was a little shorter than James and her brown eyes sparkled mischievously. She had a huge toothy smile as the three boys tackled her. She fell to the ground screaming as James threw snow down her shirt.

Sirius stood up laughing. He stopped though when he saw the beyond confused looks of Maylea and Maggie. Maggie's mouth was hanging wide open, and Maylea's head was so tilted it looked like it might fall off.

"Maylea, Maggie," James said motioning to the girl sitting on the ground, "This is Isabella Barrow."

"Hey! I'm..." she looked down on her hand, "Sirius' cousin who is madly in love with James Potter." she obviously read. She looked back up and smiled.

"It's okay Izzy... We told them."

"Oh! It that case. I'm Sirius' metaphoric sister and James Potter is a total prat who's only using me to get to a girl." She stood up and brushed the snow off of her robes, "Totally fine with me though. Him and Lily make a cute couple."

Silence fell as they waited for it to sink in.

Maggie broke the silence, "Can we go inside now?"

Sirius grabbed Maylea's hand again.

As they walked back, Maylea turned to Sirius, "So your sister?"

"Don't you worry, I really like you. Besides, she has a boyfriend."

Sirius felt her relax a little, "So.. I know Lil... I don't know of this will work."

Remus finally piped up from behind them. He had his arms awkwardly around Maggie, who was shivering.

"She is actually a really good actor." he said, "Izzy ?"

Suddenly Isabella's hair changed to the same exact color as Lily's and she turned to James,

"Hey there. " she said seductively, suddenly clinging extremely close to James. "Meet me in the broom closet later." she smirked, lightly kissing James' cheek. She winked playfully, and James' jaw dropped. He stood there dumbfounded and speechless.

"I don't think it was necessary to look like Lily." Remus said.

"Yeah Izzy, you're messing with his mind." Sirius added.

She let go of James and smiled wide, Maylea gasped. She looked almost exactly like Lily! Bright emerald eyes, and everything. The only difference that Maylea could tell, was that her eyes were bigger than Lily's. Other than that she could totally believe it was Lily.

"You're- you're a... Metamorphmagus?" Maggie stuttered.

Isabella looked up at Maylea's shocked face, "Funny thing is I've never met Lily."

"This is gonna be good." Quiet, goodie-two-shoes, Maggie smirked.
