Before saying anything else, I have to say I was really surprised at the lack of hate mail after the last chapter.
... I just tempted fate a lot didn't I?

WHO
IS
DEADLIEST?
To find out, our world class fighters are testing fiction's most lethal weapons.
Using twenty first century science, we'll see what happens when the two warriors go toe to toe.
No rules. No safety. No mercy.
IT's a duel to the death to decide who is...
THE DEADLIEST WARRIOR!
oxoxoxo
Returning to our fight club, we've again gathered our team of experts.
Biomedical engineer Zivon96
ER doctor and historian DeadAliveManiac
And computer whiz Scarecrow'sMainFan
They're here to answer the question: who is the deadliest warrior of season 1?
"So as is needed for matches like these," said Zivon "we have to divide our warriors up into groups, the difference being that we've got three groups this time. Those groups are ancient warriors, post gunpowder warriors, and characters."
Our team had four ancient warrior winners:
The mighty Grey Warden of Thedas
(The Warden leader duelled against the Imperial Legion commander)
The enigmatic Dalish Elf of Arlathan
(The Dalish Elf disarms the Uruk-Hai of his sword)
The lethal Xing Prince
(The Prince crosses blades with the Waterbender)
And Tamriel's imperial guard, The Blade.
(The Blade attacks the Lin Kuei with his Katana)
"Let's start with the Xing Prince first." Said Zivon.
"Well the guy's got a lot of skill, that's for sure," said Scarecrow "That, and he's got some pretty great weapons, the Xing Dao, and the bombs were pretty impressive."
In a duel to the death with the Waterbender, the Xing Prince's swordsmanship and technology were enough to gain him the win.
"He does have his flaws though." Said DAM "Let's not forget that his other two weapons were... well not so good. The knives could kill, but they don't have a lot of range, and the rope dart was just kind of crap."
"That," said Zivon "and he has no armour. That's a major disadvantage to any of the other warriors on this list. So while he was a great fighter, I think he's out."
"Xing Prince, gone." Agreed DAM.
The Prince of Xing is eliminated.
"What about the Blade?" asked DAM.
"The Blade's a contender." Said Scarecrow "I think we all agree, the guy's got some pretty great armour and weapons, he took down a Lin Kuei ninja."
The Blade dispatched his Lin Kuei opponent with four weapons
The Katana
Imperial Bow
Mace
And Battleaxe
"I think I'll have to agree with you there," said Zivon "Great training, fiercely loyal, and put in a suit of advanced armour and given great weapons."
"Well before we make any final decision, let's look at the other guys," Said DAM "the Grey Warden, for instance."
A team of Wardens laid waste to a squad of Imperial Legionnaires with four weapons of their own
The Warden's Companion
Commission
Twinblades
And Circle Magic
"The Warden was our first winner, and he was a tough one." Said Zivon "Recruited from the best they can find in Thedas and trained by warriors of all backgrounds."
"And, they had great armour and weapons too." Said DAM.
"The Legion really only had one weapon that could reliably touch him." Said Scarecrow.
"Completely agreed Scarecrow, and he also had the motivation: Wardens fight for all sentient life on the planet against the darkspawn." Said Zivon.
"Well before we go any further, we have to look at our last ancient warrior of this season: the Dalish Elf." Said Scarecrow. "These guys brought their weapons, and mounts and magic all to the table and took down an Uruk-Hai. And those guys are tough."
"Completely agreed Scarecrow, but for one thing:" said Zivon "Grey Wardens include the Dalish in thieir ranks, so that wouldn't work very well."
The Dalish Elf, is eliminated.
"So that," said DAM "leaves Blade vs Grey Warden."
The Blades. Disciplined defenders of the Emperor.
Vs
The Grey Wardens. Warriors from all walks of life.
Both great heroes of their own worlds, but in a head to head battle, who would win?
To find out, we've called back some of our experts on these warriors.
A middle aged blonde woman in leather armour swung a katana at a target in griffon armour.
Returning to represent the Blades is head of the Skyrim Blades, Delphine.
"In battle," Delphine said "Blades fear nothing. These Grey Wardens are no exception."
The Blades are Imperial shook troops and personal bodyguards to the Emperor of Cyrodiil himself. Traced back to the original Dragonguard, the Blades operate all over Tamriel, even in places the Imperial Legion can't reach.
"The Blades are the solution to every problem in the Empire." Said Delphine "If the Legion can't do it, the Blades can."
But what about the other side?
A man with short blonde hair and a short beard hefted a sword and shield.
Returning to wield weapons for the Wardens is former Grey Warden and king of Ferelden, Alistair Therin.
"One does not simply become a Warden." Said Alistair "We have to first decide if you're strong enough, and even then, that's sometimes not enough."
The Grey Wardens were founded during the first blight, when bestial darkspawn led by an Archdemon threatened to overwhelm and destroy mankind. Since then, the Wardens have won all four of the coming blights, and killed each Archdemon to rise.
"The Wardens have taken down hordes of monsters led by massive dragons." Said Alistair "They're the greatest warriors in Thedas."
So how would the heroes of the blights fare against the personal guard of the Emperor of Cyrodiil?
"Both of these warriors are so similar," said Zivon "that it may come down to the specific weapons used by each side."
And the weapons carried by the blades into this one on one duel are
The Katana
Imperial Bow
Mace
And Battleaxe
They also wear a full suit of segmented Imperial Steel plate.
The Wardens will retaliate with
The Warden's Companion Broadsword
Commission Longbow
Twinblade Knives
And will replace the Circle Magic and staff with The Warden's Reach Greatsword
The Wardens are also encased in articulated silverite plate.
Zivon, DAM and Scarecrow stood around a table of weapons with Delphine and Alistair. "So the first test we're going to run is on your respective heavy weapons." Said Scarecrow.
"He's right," said DAM, picking up the Warden's Reach "because this is a weapon we haven't seen yet."
Alistair took the weapon from the doctor. "This, gentlemen, and lady, is a fine example of how we solve big problems in Thedas."
Warden's Reach
Length: 5'
Weight: 7lbs
Material: Dragonbone.
To test the lethality of the Warden's Reach, Alistair will test it against the armour of the Blades, after which Delphine will test the Battleaxe against the Warden's armour.
Alistair stood at the ready with the Warden's reach in his hands. In front of him was a gel torso dressed in Imperial Steel plate armour.
"Alistair, you ready?" called Zivon.
"Ready!"
"Three, two, one, GO!"
"AAAAHHHHHH!" Alistair yelled as he slammed the greatsword edge first into the armour, creating a large dent. He then pulled back and thrust the sword into the dent he had made. The sword went right into the armour, and dented the back. "I think that about sums it up." Said the Warden king.
DAM and Zivon removed the armour so the doctor could have a look. "This is unreal." Said DAM "The first strike alone was enough to break ribs, then the thrust sealed the deal there and went right through the heart."
"I am worried," said Scarecrow "That there's just too much blade there, and that you'll be sacrificing a lot of mobility to use the sword."
"Well that's part of the beauty of what this sword is made to do." Said Alistair "It's made to keep someone at the proper distance to, well, cut them down to size."
"With our weapon," said Delphine "we won't need that much space."
The Blades counter the Warden's reach with their own heavy hitter
The Battleaxe
Length: 5'
Weight: 10lbs
Material: steel
Delphine stood in the same type of stance as Alistair before her, except with the Imperial Steel plate replaced with silverite.
"Delphine, you ready?" Zivon called.
"Ready."
"Three, two, one, attack!"
Delphine swung the heavy weapon at the torso, creating a large dent in the plate. She swung again, hitting it in the side and making another huge dent.
DAM and Zivon removed the armour and looked over where the dents were. "We've got broken ribs and a dropped lung, but that's about it here." Said DAM "So this guy's still alive and can still fight back."
"Not only that," said Alistair "But your weapon is heavier than mine, and mine can be swung faster."
So which weapon do our experts believe is superior?
"When the Battleaxe wasn't able to get through the Warden's armour, our Blade was just put at a disadvantage." Said DAM "The Warden's Reach can break right through the Blade's armour, so that's where I put my edge."
For special weapons, the edge goes to the Grey Warden for the Warden's Reach.
But in battle, it's the man behind the weapon that matters most. Each side brings an x-factor to the fight: their respective training. The Blades trained with the finest fighters in Cyrodiil: other Blades.
"This training," said Delphine "Gives us an advantage, since we have training and techniques passed down from generations of fighters."
The Wardens had a different approach to training. Their fighters were recruited from the best they could find, and those fighters were usually already trained. The training didn't stop there though.
"The Wardens have fighters from all over Thedas. Said Alistair "We have human knights, Dalish hunters, dwarven soldiers and more all in our ranks, and each of them brings their own techniques which are then taught to any and all who are able to learn."
When a melee weapon wasn't enough, each side used a long range weapon.
"Now we've seen both of these bows before," said Zivon "and in fact, these are the bows used when the Wardens fought the Legion."
"We know, however," said Delphine "that the blades are better archers than the standard Legionnaire."
"That," said DAM "and I like how the recurve bow is able to pack pretty much the same power as the Commission into a smaller frame. I also like that it's faster to load."
"I think," said Scarecrow, "that the manoeuvrability and speed of the Imperial Bow beat out the power and range of the Commission."
At long range, the edge goes to the Blades.
At medium range, both fighters fell back on drastically different weapons. The Blade would smash his enemy to pieces with his mace, while the Warden would try to outmanoeuvre his enemy with the Twinblade knives.
The team reviews the footage from both of the weapons.
"Honestly," said Scarecrow "I like the Twinblades. They're quick, and the Warden can use two of them at once, allowing for more options."
"I have to disagree with you there Scarecrow." Said Zivon "The mace is much easier to use on an opponent like the Warden. When you're opponent is wearing bigger, heavier armour than you, it's nice to have something to break it with."
"I'd like to add to that," said DAM "That the mace is longer than the Twinblades, so it also has reach over them."
In a two to one vote, the edge for mid range weapons goes to the Mace.
But each warrior still has one weapon left. Both warriors were also known for their swordplay.
The team reviews the test for both the Katana and the Warden's Companion.
Zivon spoke up first. "I like the speed of the Katana, but I like the reach and power of the Warden's Companion more. I have to give it to the Warden's companion."
"I have to disagree," said DAM "I think the flexibility of the Katana will outdo the power of the broadsword."
With the score tied, the deciding vote goes to Scarecrow.
Scarecrow thought for a moment. "I think I have to give it to the Warden's Companion. I like the Katana for its speed, but I have to give it to the weapon I think is more likely to break through the opponent's armour, and I think the Warden's Companion is more likely to do so."
For close range weapons, the edge goes to the Warden's Companion.
Both warriors fought encased in the finest armour they could acquire, but which one do our experts believe is superior?
"Between these two armour sets," said DAM "both are strong, both cover a large area of the body, both protect well against attacks. I think the edge is even here."
"I agree, edge even." Said Zivon.
"Even." Agreed Scarecrow.
For armour, the edge is even."
With the testing complete, Scarecrow'sMainFan will begin the battle.
"This battle really could go either way," said Zivon "Since these combatants are so similar. Both are heroes to their people, both are specialists in many forms, both have the finest weapons they can afford."
"I think we can win this." Said Delphine "The Blades are experts at outfighting and outsmarting our opponents. After all, they thought we were dead for quite some time."
"Am I worried about the Blades?" said Alistair. "A little, but I think they should be more worried."
Scarecrow'sMainFan will now run the battle 1000 times to determine the winner.
Hero
(A Blade cuts down a would be assassin to the Emperor)

(A Grew Warden runs a Hurlock through on his sword)
Scarecrow presses a button and the first battle begins.

The fight takes place in the same town as the Wardens fought the Legion in, as the last Grey Warden prays at the graves of his fallen comrades. He has his Warden's Companion at his belt, a shield on his back, his bow on the ground next to him, and a Warden's Reach he had picked up at base stuck in the ground next to the bow.
As he is distracted by his praying, the Blade rounds a corner. He had been informed that the murdered Legionnaires were last seen heading to this town, meaning that whoever was in those shallow graves must have killed them. He had his battleaxe in hand, mace and katana at his belt, and his bow over his shoulder. It was when he saw the man praying by the graves and noticed the shield he carried had the same symbol as those on the graves that he realized this man was with the ones who killed the Legion.
As quiet as he could, the blade stuck his axe into the ground and knocked and arrow in his bow. Aiming at the killer's head, he let the projectile fly.
The Warden didn't know what hit him as the arrow impacted him in the helmet. He was stunned and knocked over by the shot. Getting up, he saw the Blade knocking another arrow and letting it fly. He dodged the flying bolt and picked up his own bow. He knocked an arrow and fired. The arrow flew straight at the Blade's face, and the Imperial ducked to avoid it.
Realizing his bow wasn't going to pierce his enemy's armour, the Blade cast aside his bow, picked up his axe, and charged.
Making a quick choice, the Warden dropped his bow and threw a Twinblade he had in his boot at his foe. The Blade stopped for a moment to bat the projectile aside, but this was all the time the Warden needed to pick up his greatsword, and meet his opponent's heavy weapon with one of his own.
The Blade swung at the Warden's chest, but the tainted warrior managed to step out of the way, coming back with a swing of his own that the Blade managed to block with the shaft of his axe, batting the sword aside.
His opponent now wide open, the Emperor's guard swung his axe again, the Warden tried to get out of the way, but the blade still made a glancing blow, knocking the off balance Warden onto his back.
The Blade raised his axe high and swung down onto his opponent, but the Warden managed to roll out of the way and get back to his feet as his foe's weapon stuck itself in the ground. Wasting no time, the Warden raised his blade and cut the shaft of the weapon in half, leaving the Blade with a broken stick.
The Warden loaded up another attack, but the blade threw what was left of his axe at his opponent, hitting him in the face and giving the blade time to draw his mace and smack the weapon away.
Recovering from the attack, the Warden drew his shield and blocked the blades next attack, and buying time to draw his sword. The Blade made another attack with the mace, only to meet the Warden's shield again and have the tainted warrior swing the shield and knock the weapon away.
Now the Blade was starting to get annoyed. He drew his katana and shield and waited for his opponent to attack.
The Warden took the bait and charged, shield first, smashing into his opponent and knocking him back before attacking with his sword. The Blade, however managed to block the word strike and make some attacks of his own, swinging his lighter, quicker sword at his foe in multiple successive strikes, forcing the Warden onto the defensive.
His foe striking so quickly, the Warden couldn't get in any hits of his own. Then he had an idea. The Warden struck out with his shield as his opponent attacked, knocking his sword aside and allowing him to resume his attack. He slashed at the Blade with his sword, and the imperial tried to block it with his own. The blow was parried, but the Warden took advantage of this distraction to attack with his shield and knock the Imperial guard back.
Attacking again, the Warden managed to knock the Blade's shield aside and slash hard with his sword. The Imperial felt the blow even through his armour and was staggered by it, not for very long, but by the time he looked up again, the Warden was swinging his shield at him.
The shield hit home, and the Blade fell to the ground. Seeing the Warden above him, the Blade called out "For the Empire!" before the Warden stabbed him in the neck.
The Warden pulled his sword out of his opponent and raised it in the air, calling out "In war, victory!"
oxoxoxo
"After 1000 battles," said Scarecrow "The Warden came out on top with 526 kills to the Blade's 474."
In a hard fought battle, the Warden's Companion and Reach were able to bring him to victory.
Grey Warden Kills
Warden's Companion: 196
Commission: 104
Twinblades: 54
Warden's Reach: 172
Total: 526
Although not far behind, with all weapons scoring triple digit kill tallies, the Blades still lost.
Blade Kills
Katana: 127
Imperial Bow: 110
Mace: 107
Battleaxe: 130
Total: 474
"The Warden's weapons were able to hit harder and his armour turned out to be the stronger of the two." Said Zivon.
"I am surprised we lost," Said Delphine "but in the end, this was just a computer simulation."
"In the end," said Alistair "the better men won. The Blades did put up a good fight though, I wonder if we couldn't recruit any."
But this is not the end, in any fictional medium, characters are paramount.
Our team has had only two characters to choose from for this battle:
Crona Gorgon
Vs
Link
A young girl with ash blonde hair and pigtails stabs out with a thin black sword.
Returning to fight for Crona, is bladed weapons expert, Maka Albarn.
"Crona is a force of nature in combat," said Maka "Link won't survive."
Ever since childhood, Crona was taught to fight and to kill by his mother, and harshly punished whenever he didn't. Joining the DWMA helped Crona to gain control over his mind, and with that control, he has helped to fight against the forces of darkness.
"Crona is near invincible due to his black blood, and his swordsmanship skills make him all the more deadly." Said Maka.
But what about Crona's newest opponent?
A girl with brown hair in a purple dress picked up a copy of the Master Sword.
Returning to fight for Link is Princess Zelda of Hyrule.
"Link can't possibly lose to this guy." Said Zelda "Even if he does have fancy powers, that's the kind of thing Link fights all the time."
Link is the reincarnated holder of the Triforce of courage, a fragment of power of the Goddess of Courage, Farore. As such, he is spiritually bonded to the other Triforce holders, the Princess of Destiny, Zelda, and the King of Evil, Ganondorf.
"Each reincarnation of Link always saves the planet from evil forces," said Zelda "all of which are more powerful than Crona."
Both of these warriors are master swordsmen, so to begin, our experts will test how well their swords dare against armour.
Zelda will first test Link's sword:
The Master Sword
Length: 3'
Weight: 2.5lbs
Material: steel
The Sword of Evil's Bane.
To test the lethality of the sword, Zelda will attack a ballistics gel torso with black blood.
Zelda stood in front of the target, sword in hand.
Zivon gave the countdown, "Three, two, one, GO!"
Zelda's first slash attack was met with failure when it was unable to get past the outer layer of skin. Her next attack, a stab to the chest was, however able to breach the 'armour' and hit her opponent.
Maka patted Zelda on the back. "I told you you wouldn't be able to hit him."
"Well not so fast Maka," said DAM "she was able to get him on the second attack, and she managed to hit the heart."
"Zelda," said Scarecrow "how did it feel when you tried to attack him that time?"
"I won't lie," said Zelda "it was difficult."
"With Crona's sword, we won't have any trouble hitting Link." Said Maka.
Crona will strike back with his own equally piercing weapon
Ragnarok
Length: 4'
Weight: 2lbs
Material: Black Blood
The Demon Sword, melted into Crona's blood.
Maka will be given the same test as Zelda: attacking a gel torso, but this time, it's been dressed in Link's chainmail.
Maka held her sword in Crona's traditional manner, as Zivon gave the countdown. "Three, two, one, go!"
Maka stabbed the sword into the chest, going right past the chainmail and into the ribcage. She then pulled back and slashed across the throat.
DAM went over to inspect the wounds. "What can I say, other than that he's dead." The doctor said simply. "Cut through the carotid and the jugular, and stabbed in the heart."
So which weapon gets the edge?
"For me," said DAM "it has to go to the Master Sword. That thing can outcut and outpierce the rapier-like Ragnarok."
"I completely disagree there DAM," said Zivon "the edge has to go to Ragnarok. We saw how difficult it was for the Master Sword to breach black blood, and Ragnarok went right through Link's chainmail."
"I couldn't agree more." Said Scarecrow "You can also add to this, that Crona can't be disarmed of Ragnarok."
With a vote of two to one, Crona gets the edge in close range weapons.
But what about long range? Each warrior has his own way of dealing death at a distance.
"I think this one's obvious." Said Zivon "The Bloody Needles are powerful, but completely lack the range of the Bow and Arrow, so that's where I'm putting my money."
"I think we're all in agreement," said DAM "edge Bow and Arrow."
"Edge, Bow." said Scarecrow.
At long range, Link takes the edge with the Bow and Arrow.
Finally, for special weapons, our experts have to decide between Link's Bombs and Crona's Scream Resonance Power.
"I think this one is again, obvious." Said DAM "The edge here has to go to Link. Those bombs will kill Crona, black blood or not."
"This is true," said Scarecrow "But Crona's Scream resonance is a multipurpose tool." Said Scarecrow. "It can damage, distract, or make his other weapons that much more devastating."
"I completely agree with everything you just said, Scarecrow," said Zivon "But, the fact of the matter is the bombs are an instant kill on Crona, while the Scream Resonance is harmful, but won't always kill on its own. I give the edge to the bombs."
For special weapons, the edge goes to Link's Bombs.
For armour, our experts had to choose between Link's Chainmail, and Crona's Black Blood.
"Do we even have to discuss this point?" asked Scarecrow "Edge Black Blood."
For armour, Crona takes the edge.
With the weapons data collected, it's time to run the battle and see who is the deadliest warrior.
Who will win?
The Hero,
(Link duels three monsters at once, cutting them all down in a spin attack)
Or the Demon?
(Crona stabs a kishin on his blade. The sword screams and cuts the creature in half)
Scarecrow types one final command into the computer and the battle begun.
oxoxoxo
Link sits in a clearing in the same forest as his last battle. He had completely healed from his wounds from his near death experience against Naruto, and had repaired his bow and refilled on bombs.
As he watches around him, a figure emerges from the trees. The boy (at least he thought it was a boy) was incredibly thin, and had pink hair and wore what looked like a dress.
Link slowly got to his feet and took out his sword and shield. He made no further moves until he saw the boy's eyes. They were bluish grey, and held no warmth or even humanity, just darkness and madness.
Crona watched Link draw his weapon and responded by doing the same, Ragnarok appearing in his hand.
Link had seen enough, this boy could pull weapons out of nowhere, and that was not a good sign. Link charged. He swung his sword, but Crona parried and struck back with a thrust of Ragnarok which Link caught on his shield.
Link swung his sword again, and again Crona parried the attack. This however, was just what Link wanted, as he smacked Ragnarok out of the way and slashed at Crona's guts.
His disembowelling attack was met with an unexpected result when the blade didn't breach skin. Thinking it might be armour under his foe's clothing, Link brought his sword back for another attack to somewhere unarmoured, but then noticed the smear of black on his blade.
He was so distracted by this that he didn't notice Crona attacking until it was too late. He was just able to get his vitals out of the shot as Ragnarok pierced his shoulder.
Link knew he wasn't going to win this fight like this, so he resorted to plan B: retreat. Link charged off into the woods. Crona followed, moving slowly after him.
Crona searched through the trees for his opponent, looking all around but unable to spot him. Link watched this from the top of a tree, and knocked an arrow in his bow.
Link took aim as Crona turned to face him. The arrow flew from the bow, impacting Crona right in the left shoulder, knocking him to the ground. Link followed with another to the chest, Crona's blood barely hardening in time to stop it from hitting vitals.
Crona didn't know how to deal with being shot like this, so thinking quickly, he thrust his sword in the air. "Scream Resonance!" he called out as his sword began to scream.
Link dropped his bow and clasped his hands over his ears. This was something he couldn't fight against, let alone move away from. He only just noticed when his opponent stopped the scream and fired something out of his sword. Link scrambled to his feet and jumped.
The scream attack impacted the tree literally a second after Link jumped. Crona raced off in pursuit of his enemy.
Link dove into a bush, knowing Crona would search the trees if he came looking for him again. He could tell the swordsman was coming when he heard him talking to... his sword?
"Where did the elf kid go?"
"I don't know Ragnarok-"
"If you don't find him Crona, I'm going to replace your pillow with a brick"
"AH! No, don't do that! I won't be able to sleep on that! I don't know how to deal with losing sleep!"
Link was thoroughly confused by this, but since his opponent still hadn't seen him, he had an idea. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out something and threw it. Then he ran.
Crona just noticed the bomb under his feet as the fuse was reaching the bottom. He ran. Fast.
BOOM!
The bomb, while not close enough to kill Crona, sent lots of shrapnel at him, most of it hitting him in the back, and some of it piercing into him. Crona fell down, in a lot of pain. Link approached him and prepared to finish him. Crona looked up at the Hyrulian Hero, and looking at the blood he had shed, he said "bloody needle." And the blood came to life, shooting out at Link who just had time to raise his shield before the needles hit.
The needles impacted right into the shield and pierced through it, not enough to kill Link, but enough to make the shield useless. Link tore it off and threw it at Crona, who had to raise his arm to block it. Using this as a distraction, Link charged. Crona raised Ragnarok to defend, but Link had him on the defensive, only able to block his opponent's attacks.
Crona leapt back from the fight as Link swung his sword into the now empty air. "Scream resonance!" he called, thrusting his sword into the air.
Link, knowing what was about to happen threw his sword at Crona, the blade hitting right into his chest.
Ragnarok still screaming, Crona sank to his knees, now finding it difficult to breathe, and pulled the sword out.
With a herculean effort, he rose to his feet and stopped Ragnarok's screaming. He had to end this, now. Crona charged ahead just as Link was rising to his feet and plunged Ragnarok into his throat.
As Link went limp, Crona pulled his sword back and looked at his opponent with disappointment on his face.

"Crona managed to win this fight." Said Scarecrow "Scoring 552 kills to Link's 448."
Crona kills
Ragnarok: 244

Scream Resonance: 52
Total: 552

Master Sword: 210

"Link was good," said Scarecrow "but when put up against weapons and techniques like Crona's, he lost."
"I don't know how Link lost." Said Zelda "While the computer might say that, he remains Hyrule's deadliest warrior."
"Link was a skilled fighter," said Maka "but in the end, Crona had just that much more skill."
With two categories down, our experts only have one left to go, because when it comes to killing, history's greatest game changer was the advent of gunpowder.
In season one, we saw victories from three gun toting warriors:
The hive minded synthetics, the
"So we only have three choices for this," said Zivon "And I'd just like to say now, the SPARTAN III has to be a contender."
"I think we're all in agreement about that." Said DAM, Scarecrow nodding in agreement.
"Now we need to pick someone for them to fight against," said Scarecrow "either the Geth or Cerberus."
"I'd have to say SPARTAN vs Cerberus." Said DAM "I mean, the Geth got the most kills of our post-gunpowder warriors, but speaking story wise, Cerberus was able to beat them."
"Not only that," said Scarecrow "but this would be an interesting fight, seeing as both fight for humanity, but in different ways."
"It's like humanity's sword fights its shield." Said Zivon.
"So we agree, Cerberus vs SPARTANs." Said DAM.
Cerberus. The most extreme fighters for humanity.
Vs
SPARTAN IIIs. Supersoldiers trained from childhood.
In an all out shoot out between these two groups, who would win?
To find out, our team has brought in experts from both sides.
An attractive woman with long brown hair raised an assault rifle and looked down the sights.
Returning to fight for Cerberus is former Cerberus officer Miranda Lawson.
"There's no way the SPARTANs can beat Cerberus." Said Miranda Cerberus forces are a lot more organized and better trained than any other extremist group, and the SPARTANs won't find that out until it's too late."
Formed in the aftermath of the Human-Turian First Contact War, Cerberus self identifies as "Humanity's Sword" dedicated to bring them higher in galactic politics by any means necessary. Even if those means involve terror.
"Murder isn't beneath them, infiltration isn't beneath them." Said Miranda "Cerberus isn't even above openly invading the centre of Galactic Civilization."
Cerberus is powerful, but how would they fare against a human military legend?
A man in blue SPARTAN armour minus the helmet aimed a scoped rifle at the camera.
Fighting for the SPARTANs, is SPARTAN commander Carter A259.
Cerberus can't beat us." Said Carter "SPARTAN's original purpose was to put down rebellions, and these guys resemble the ones we were taught to kill."
Originally designed to be cheap, expendable supersoldiers, SPARTAN IIIs eventually became almost as legendary as their predecessors. Designed to be team oriented, SPARTAN IIIs were divided into six man fireteams.
"SPARTANs were the greatest warriors history's ever produced." Said Carter.
But how would a SPARTAN III fireteam fare against a Cerberus kill squad?
Each team will bring a deadly load of weapons to the fight. The SPARTANs will attack with
The DMR
MA5C Assault Rifle
M9 Grenade
M45 Shotgun
And the Combat Knife
Cerberus will retaliate with
The Cerberus Harrier
M-25 Hornet
Trip Mine
M-22 Eviscerator
And the Tanto Knife
Our team will begin with the weapon they need to test first: the Cerberus Trip Mine.
Miranda held the explosive in hand. "This is why people don't usually see a Cerberus ground outpost. They'll step on one of these before they can even get close."
"Miranda, I have to say I've never really liked mines." Said DAM "How do you make sure it doesn't go off on your men?"
"These mines are wired to detect Cerberus armour, so it won't go off on our men." Said Miranda.
"That's a clever tactic," said Scarecrow "But we still need to test this thing to see if it can actually kill."
The test: three armoured SPARTAN dummies will be placed around a trip mine. Shock patches will be placed on the targets to analyze the lethal potential of the mine.
Zivon held up the shock patches. "This purple shock patch trips at 37 Gs, and it means the target's green one trips at 100, and it means the target's dead."
DAM held the detonator for the mine. "Doc, you ready?" asked Zivon.
"Ready."
"On three, two, one, blow it up!"
DAM pressed the button and the mine blew, taking the closest SPARTAN stand in into the air, causing him to land on one of his colleagues.
DAM went in to assess the damage. "I'm kind of cleaning up my own mess here aren't I?" asked the doctor. "Well all we have to do is look at the shock patch on this guy," he said pointing to the closest SPARTAN who had been thrown "green patch is tripped, he's dead. Not only that, but his leg was severed by the blast."
The next target is also an instant kill, but the third...
Zivon looked over the third target. "No trip on the shock patch, no frag in him... he's clean."
"He's a lucky one." Said Miranda "And he probably won't stay that way for long, Cerberus likes to plant a lot of these things."
The team compares the power of the trip mine to the SPARTAN's M9 grenade.
DAM spoke first. "I like the way the Trip Mine's designed," he said "but I don't like that it has to be set up. Not only that, but a SPARTAN could notice it and avoid it easily, whereas the grenade, once you see it, it's too late."
"I have to disagree," said Scarecrow "I think the design of the mine is ingeniously designed to target the other team, even if it does have to be set up beforehand."
"That being said Scarecrow," said Zivon "The mine has to be set up nbeforehand, while with the grenade you can just pull the pin and throw it. I give my edge to the grenade."
For special weapons, the edge goes to the SPARTAN's M9 grenade.
At medium range, our experts had to decide between the M45 Shotgun and the M-22 Eviscerator.
"I like that the Eviscerator can do more damage," said DAM "but from a doctor's standpoint, the heavier recoil will take a lot more out of you. Combine this with the fact that the M45 has more rounds and it gets my edge."
"Doc, I have to disagree with you there." Said Scarecrow "I think the semi automatic features of the Eviscerator make up for its lack of rounds, and so I call it even."
"I think I agree with the doctor on this one." Said Zivon "Power is one thing, but more rounds are also useful, and even with the semi automatic features, the M-22 only has three rounds to fire."
At mid range, the edge goes to the SPARTANs for the M45 shotgun.
What about close range weapons? Each of these warriors are great knife fighters, but which weapon is superior?
DAM held both knives up to eye level. "Tough choice on this one." He said "In the end though, I think I have to give it to the Tanto, It's longer and has a superior slashing ability to the SPARTAN's combat knife. Plus, the Tanto has history on its side."
"I couldn't disagree more," said Scarecrow "looking at which weapon is more likely to penetrate armour, the Tanto won't even scratch the paint on the SPARTAN's armour. Also, while I like the historical aspect of this weapon, I think there's a reason most armies carry the combat knife and not fancy Japanese knives into battle."
"I like the combat knife for its piercing ability," said Zivon "but I like the Tanto for its length and slashing ability. I think I'm going to have to call this one even."
In a comparison of battle blades, the edge is dead even.
Now the battle will move into longer range weapons. First up: the SPARTAN MA5C and the Cerberus M-25 Hornet.
The team reviews the footage from the previous tests.
"I think I'm going to have to give this one to the MA5C." Said Scarecrow "Nothing against the Hornet, but the MA5C has a greater fire rate, and can be just as accurate."
"Also," said DAM "it has more rounds to throw at the enemy."
"I think we're all in agreement then," said Zivon "Edge MA5C."
The SPARTAN takes the edge in these long range weapons, but what about the other ones? The team will now compare the Cerberus Harrier to the SPARTAN DMR.
Zivon looked at both weapons. "You know what guys, I think we need to have a test of these two weapons."
The test is simple, Miranda and Carter will each be given their respective rifles and will be given four targets and one clip.
Miranda will be up first, firing the Cerberus Harrier.
Miranda pointed the gun downrange and fired. Her first burst of shots impacted into a dummy's ribcage. She fired another burst into the next dummy's face and one into another one's head as well. She turned to the final target and emptied the rest of the magazine into it. "Done!"
DAM looked over the damage. "The Harrier is always impressive in accuracy. All of these targets are hit somewhere vital, whether it's the brain or the heart or even both lungs."
"This really is a great weapon." Said Miranda "The accuracy combined with the fully automatic features make this weapon better than his."
"Well Carter, what do you have to say to that?" asked Scarecrow.
"She did alright," said Carter "but I can do just as good, if not better with my gun."
Carter stood in front of the targets, gun aimed downrange. When given the signal, Carter opened fire, hitting each target with precisely three shots, one to the head, and two to the chest. "Done."
A look at the targets shows Carter matched Miranda kill for kill, but what do our experts think?
"I like the Harrier." Said DAM. "In my mind, it's just as accurate as the DMR, plus it can go full auto."
"I like the Harrier because it has those extra rounds and the fully automatic features," said Zivon "but the DMR has the greater range and will have greater accuracy with the scope."
"Well there is that," said Scarecrow "But, once you get in closer, what good is that scope going to do for you? The Harrier can be easily used at both close range and long range, and that gives it my edge."
For these long range weapons, Cerberus takes the edge.
With the testing complete, Scarecrow will begin the battle.
"I don't think the SPARTANs will be prepared for just how ferocious Cerberus can be." Said Miranda.
"They're just another terrorist group." Said Carter "We've faced worse."
"Cerberus has the greater technology." Said Miranda.
"They're soft." Said Carter.
"Cerberus will kill anyone in their path." Said Miranda.
"They're weak." Said Carter.
Scarecrow pushed a button and the battle began.

The battle takes place after dark at a Cerberus facility where the Centurion who defeated the Brutes watches over his new squad as they prepare the base. He had his Harrier on his back, while two of his men had Hornets and two had Eviscerators. Each one had a Tanto.
Cerberus: IIIII
Meanwhile, five SPARTANs, led by the one who killed the Predators, approached the base. The lead SPARTAN held an MA5C, while two of his men had DMRs and the other two had M45s. All of them had grenades and combat knives.
Cerberus: IIIII
SPARTAN III: IIIII
As the SPARTANs neared the base, the commander ordered his man with the DMR to search the area with his scope.
The marksman looked through the scope into the windows of the base and saw the Centurion ordering his men about.
Hearing this, the SPARTAN commander proceeded to the facility gate and broke the lock with the butt of his assault rifle before ordering his men inside.
One of the shotgunners went first and stepped on an elevated patch of dirt.
BOOM!
The trip mine blew the man to pieces and alerted the Cerberus troops that there were intruders.
Cerberus: IIIII
SPARTAN III: IIII
Gathering their weapons, the two Cerberus troops with Hornets and the Centurion went out to greet the enemy while the shotgunners found cover in case they made it inside.
Getting over the shock from the mine, the SPARTANs took cover behind the walls next to the now open gate as three Cerberus troops emerged from the base and opened fire. The SPARTANs returned fire from their cover, but Cerberus had the higher ground, giving them a vantage point.
A SPARTAN marksman ducked out of cover and tossed a grenade at the Cerberus troops. The Centurion saw it coming and got out of the way, but one of his men wasn't so lucky and was blown to kingdom come.
Cerberus: IIII
SPARTAN III: IIII
The Centurion ordered his last man inside, knowing that they would be better off in there, where they knew the environment better.
Carefully this time, the SPARTANs approached the base and made their way to the door. One of the marksmen went first, kicking the door open and shooting the Cerberus guard inside three times in the head, dropping his shields and him.
Cerberus: III
SPARTAN III: IIII
After this, he charged in, only to be shot by the Cerberus shotgunner hiding behind the door.
Cerberus: III
SPARTAN III: III
The SPARTAN commander went in after his man, smacked the Cerberus shotgunner with his rifle, pushed the gun out of the way and fired half a clip into his face, point blank.
Cerberus: II
SPARTAN III: III
The SPARTAN commander ordered his last two men to search together while he went on his own.
The shotgunner and marksman crept slowly through the base until they came across a locked door.
Aiming his gun at the door handle, the shotgunner looked to the marksman, who nodded. The shotgunner pulled the trigger and blew the lock off its hinges as the marksman kicked down the door. The Cerberus trooper behind the door took a shot with his eviscerator, knocking the SPARTAN marksman back, but he was shot by the SPARTAN shotgunner, taking down his shields. As he tried to run, he was shot again, hitting his leg and knocking him to the ground. Scrambling to his feet as the SPARTAN fired at him, he managed to limp into a nearby corridor.
The Shotgunner moved to help the marksman back to his feet and the two followed the terrorist. Moving into the corridor he went into, they followed the trail of blood drops he left. Finding another door they opened it and the shotgunner went in first.
BOOM!
Cerberus: II
SPARTAN III: II
Getting up after being knocked flat, the SPARTAN marksman walked into the room and fired at the Cerberus trooper, hitting him in the chest three times before he could get a shot off.
Cerberus: I
SPARTAN III: II
He turned around to come face to face with the Centurion's Harrier barrel. The supersoldier's already weakened shields gave way under the assault rifle fire and he went down.
Cerberus: I
SPARTAN III: I
Drawn by the explosion, the SPARTAN commander arrived just as his lat man was killed. He raised his rifle and fired as the Centurion took cover behind the wall.
The SPARTAN, firing as he walked, moved closer to the Centurion, once he was right outside the room where the Centurion was hiding, he reloaded.
Hearing an end to the gunfire, the Centurion leaned out of cover to fire back. Before he could get more than two shots off, the SPARTAN commander grabbed his weapon and yanked it away, acting quickly, the Centurion kicked the SPARTAN in the hand holding his rifle, knocking both weapons away.
The Centurion then kicked the SPARTAN in the stomach, making him double over and giving him time to draw his Tanto.
The SPARTAN rose in time with the Centurion's stab, going right into his helmet, stopping just short of hitting flesh. Kicking the Centuirion away, he lost the helmet and drew his combat knife.
Prying his blade out of the SPARTAN's helmet, the Centurion turned to face his foe. The SPARTAN made the first move, stabbing at the Centurion's guts. Dodging this, the terrorist, made a slash at the SPARTAN's neck. The supersoldier parried the strike, and responded with an uppercut that knocked the Centurion's helmet askew.
Stepping back, the Centurion tried to right the helmet, but the SPARTAN was still on the attack, stepping back again to dodge another slash, the half blind Centurion responded with one of his own at the SPARTAN's unarmoured face. The attack hit, and the SPARTAN staggered back, clutching his bleeding face. Wasting no time, the Centurion charged forward, knocking the SPARTAN over, and making him land next to his deceased comrade.
The Centurion finished righting his helmet as he approached the downed SPARTAN, kicking him in the ribs as he reached him and knocking him back down.
The Centurion held his Tanto in a reverse grip in one hand, he turned over the SPARTAN with the other, intending to finish him off.
What he didn't expect was the SPARTAN holding his comrade's M45 and firing it at him point blank, wiping out his shields, injuring him and throwing him back.
The SPARTAN got up and dropped the now empty weapon. He went over to the Centurion as the terrorist spoke. "You can't do this, we're both human."
The SPARTAN removed the Centurion's helmet, exposing the trooper's glowing eyes and flesh that was slowly turning purple. "No, you're not." He said, plunging the knife into his opponent's neck.
The SPARTAN stood up and grabbed his assault rifle. He was ready to be gone.
oxoxoxo
"The SPARTANs ended up winning," said Scarecrow "scoring 682 kills to Cerberus' 318. This was largely due to the fact that the SPARTANs were originally created to kill terrorists, and Cerberus in the end were just more of those terrorists."
SPARTAN III Kills
MA5C: 358
DMR: 170
M45: 94

"Cerberus was able to do some damage," said Zivon "But in the end, the better man won, the SPARTAN III is the deadliest modern warrior of season 1"
"I can't believe Cerberus lost." Said Miranda "If only the Alliance had used SPARTANs."
"I know who we are," said Carter "I know what we can do, and I think today we proved that once again, we are the deadliest warriors."
