Code Geass: Assassin's Creed

Disclaimer : I do not own Code Geass and Assassin's Creed.

Author's note: This is not a crossover. The story does not follow Code Geass story line.

If you would have asked me who is the modern day Professor James Moriarty, I would say the Nathdracks of Britannia. I can't reveal to you his name but I can only tell you he is a member of the infamous Nathdrack family, the so called 'traitor' to Britannia. This man...has the brightest mind among criminals. He would be a perfect dictator. I would love to have dinner with him. Speaking about dinner again...

Somewhere in Area 30

In an abandoned city

Tohdoh Kyoshiro hid behind a tree as he heard footsteps. Clad in the Creed's olive green colour hood, he managed to blend perfectly among the bushes. The Japanese man pulled his hood up, covering his face while peering to see who it was. He slid down the hidden blade and was prepared to attack when necessary. As he waited, he checked on the radar disguised as a wrist watch. The red dot, which means his target had stopped somewhere behind him.

No, worse still it was right behind him. Tohdoh quickly turned behind but it was too late. His enemy had struck him with a baseball bat, right on his head. Tohdoh groaned in pain as he tried to move away. Grabbing his head, he lashed out his hidden blade at the enemy.

Seizing the opportunity, Tohdoh charged towards him, slaying the boy with his blades. Blood splattered out as the boy cried in pain. However, killing one wasn't the end. The boy's cries had attracted his others 'zombiefied' friends. All of them, holding all sorts of weapons charged towards Tohdoh.

Tohdoh cursed under his breath. He quickly dashed towards a tallest tree and climbed up as fast he could. Once reaching the top, he lit up a torch which he kept in his backpack and tree it down. A few of the zombie were caught on fire, causing chaos.

"What the hell are these people?" He wondered. Just then, his eyes spotted something heading fast towards the colony of zombies. It was slaying them at ease, sending three down in a single attack.

Soon, the figure stopped under the tree. Tohdoh squinted his eyes to see who it was. A tall male wearing the same clothes as his but it was white stood there with a bow and a quiver of arrows by his side. He waited for the zombies to head towards him before making his third attack.

Leaping in the air, he aimed at his target and released the arrow from his bow. The arrow was no ordinary arrow. It exploded upon reaching the ground, sending fires to lick the zombies. Then came another arrow. This time the arrow burst into a net, trapping the zombies. Another hooded figure came. Equipped with only a pair of dagger, the figure managed to eliminate all the trapped zombies. Soon, all the enemies were gone. The foul stench of burning corpse filled the air.

"Tohdoh, it's safe to come down now" the shorter figure said. Tohdoh recognised the voice. He immediately jumped down and landed right in front of the two.

"I didn't know we have a company today. I thought only the two of us are on the mission." Tohdoh said as he dusted the debris on his clothes.

Rolo Haliburton chuckled. "Well, this guy is an exception. The Grandmaster allowed him to join any of the Creed's mission at any time. He's like a backup army for our Creed" he explained.

Tohdoh eyed curiously at the new guy. "What's your name?"

The male figure snorted. He pulled down his hood, revealing his face. "I am Jacob Nathdrack of the House of Nathdrack. I am an advisor to East Britannia's division master, Master Jacques Nathdrack who is my father. However, he passed away early of this year due to his long term illness. So I am kinda a free man now. No jobs for me" Jacob laughed.

"An advisor? You're so young! How old are you?" Tohdoh exclaimed. Ever since he joined the Creed after JLF disintergration, he had never seen such a young high rank officer of the Creed. Most of them are usually older than him and looked very serious unlike this one.

"Erm, 17? Age doesn't matter in the Creed, Tohdoh Kyoshiro" Jacob replied. Tohdoh could only nod. He was still in disbelief.

"Anyway, so did you find any clues of Clovis's research?" Rolo interuppted. He looked around, grimacing in disgust at the corpses.

"No, except for these remnants, their failed specimens" Tohdoh sighed. He and Rolo were sent to the abandoned city of the war torn Area 30 in search of the hidden lab of Clovis. But after few days in this city, they found nothing except the zombies. Actually their team consisted of three members but the other one was not lucky. He got bitten by the zombies and contracted their disease. Rolo had no choice but to kill their member off.

"I see. I have never thought the sissy prince will be intelligent in hiding his things" Jacob joked. He toyed around with his heavy bow like a doll.

"Anyway, thanks Jacob for coming to help us today. Tohdoh is still a newbie so I think we need backup" Rolo said to Jacob. Jacob nodded and smiled.

"You're welcome. I always help those in need. Anyway, I heard from the Grandmaster about the objective of my summoning to Area 11."

"Yea, he needs your help to keep an eye on the heir of the Creed"

"Kallen needs to be taken care off? I thought you once told me she is a tough girl!"

"She's still foolish in her acts, too naive according to her father."

Jacob guffawed. He tightened the leather gauntlet he was wearing. "I see. Well in that case I should be heading back to Area 11 since the Princess of the Creed is waiting for her knight. Send my regards to the others" Jacob bid his farewell.

"Take my advice. Don't let her know about 'it'.Understand?" Rolo commanded in a cold, serious tone.

Jacob stopped and turned just enough to see the side of his eye. "I know"

Area 11

New Babel Tower, north east of Tokyo Settlement

"And this is check" Lelouch said in a confident manner. He pushed the rook forwards, giving the opponent a scare.

His opponent, an old man in his sixties was confused. He scratched his bald head and was racking his brains for the next move. Rivalz and the crowd cheered, thinking that Lelouch had won.

As the old man was about to move his King, a voice stopped him. "If I were you, I will sacrifice my Queen."

All heads turned to the owner of the voice, including Lelouch. Standing behind the old man was a tall, lean grey haired lad dressed in a very simple yet elegant manner. He wore a white fedora with matches with his white pants and blue Polo shirt. Pushing his glasses up with his index finger, he stared at Lelouch.

"Why don't I replace this man? This will make the game more interesting." He suggested.

Rivalz looked at Lelouch who was smiling. He nodded. "Why not?"

The boy sat on the old man's seat and began controlling the game. Soon, the two handsome lads battle fiercely, each charging at each others territory. After about an hour, the game was left with the Black King, Black Queen, a Black castle, the White King, three white pawns and a white knight.

The crowd gasped. They did not expect the game to turn around like this. Rivalz was biting his finger nails, wondering whether will Lelouch lose.

Lelouch himself didn't believe that. If he followed the system, the White won as he had more pieces left. But Lelouch wouldn't give in way. He was sure there was a way to win. As he was about to move his Queen, the lad stood up from his seat.

"I have no intention of winning this game. Let's call it a draw?" He said and picked up his hat. He whistled a tune which sounded more like a requiem.

Lelouch clenched his fist. He couldn't believe it! He stood up and glared at the lad.

"You mean you were not serious throughout this game?"

The lad stood there, thinking. "I have never been serious in anything. A game is just a game. So does our life. It was all controlled by someone since the very beginning. It's called destiny or some times we are introduced to it as fate" He replied and chuckled.

"May I know what is the name of my contender?" Lelouch demanded.

"Me? I am just a part of this hopeless society. The name is Jacob. It's a pleasure meeting you, Lelouch" Jacob smiled and walked away leaving a puzzled crowd whispering over the defeat of a great chess player to an anonymous.

"So that was how Lelouch lost a game of chess?" Milly blurted out. Rivalz nodded and signalled her to lower down her voice. He glanced at Lelouch who sat beside the windows, thinking deeply about something.

Shirley stopped writing a report and stoled glances at Lelouch too. She secretly pulled out an envelope containing tickets to an opera. Her father had bought them for her and told her to use it to bring the love of her life out.

"Well, technically he lost but the Jacob guy called it a draw. So he didn't win the bet." Rivalz explained further.

"That was so childish of Lulu. I never thought he will become so depressed after losing a game!" Milly teased. Rivalz wanted to laugh but he stopped as he felt Lelouch giving him a death glare from behind.

"Prez! Rivalz! Don't laugh at Lulu! He's in pain now!" Shirley hissed. The two looked at Shirley and burst in laughters.

"You mean he's in deep pain? Aww, you're so understanding..." Rivalz joked. Nina laughed quietly.

"No Rivalz. Shirley is trying to say she will 'comfort' him. You understand what I meant right, Shirley?" Milly sneered. Shirley blushed furiously. She quickly waved her hands to deny it.

"Kisama. So noisy" Lelouch cursed under his breath. He wasn't thinking about his defeat in the game but the identity of the person who defeated him. Who was he? Why does his surname sounded familiar? And what was he trying to say?

"Nathdrack..."He muttered, supporting his chin with his hand.

Kallen was taking a stroll in the Academy's gardens when she felt her phone rang. She checked the caller's ID and gasped. It was Rolo Haliburton from the Creed! She quickly answered the call, wondering whether she could speak to the Grandmaster.

"Rolo!"

"Hi, Kallen. How is your injuries?"

"Well, luckily it healed! Anyway, can I speak to the Grandmaster? I wanted apologise to him for causing a havoc during the Clovis mission. I shouldn't have go against his orders."

Rolo hesitated. "Well, the Grandmaster has gone somewhere. He's not free for now. But a substitute will be replacing him from now on."

"Oh, but am I still a part of you guys?"

Rolo hesitated again. She became a prince's knight and she still wants to be a part of us? He thought. James Stadtfeld had told him about his daughter's appointment as a Britannian prince knight which would have caused an uproar in the Creed. The Creed will not except a heir of the Creed as a servant of a Prince. Never.

"I am not sure of it. Sorry."

"Oh...It's alright. So what news you bring to me today?"

"The Grandmaster told me to inform you of his substitute."

"Who would that be?"

"I can't tell you the name but he wants you to meet him in Lake Kawaguchi Convention Centre, at the coffeehouse, precisely 12 noon, next week Saturday."

"How coincidence! The Student Council will be going there too on Saturday!"

"You are in the Student Council? That should be more convenient. That's all for now. I have a mission to do. Tamaki and Ohgi say hi. They are currently on another mission"

"What miss-"

Before she could ask Rolo, the line was cut off. Kallen sighed and flipped back the phone into her pocket. She somehow missed her life in the Creed. It had been three months since she last served them. Life had been so mundane ever since. As she was about to turn back towards the Student Council room, she felt her head hitting something hard.

"Ouch!" Two different voice cried. Kallen looked up and was startled to see a male student in front of her.

"Sorry! I didn't see you!" Kallen apologised.

The grey haired boy chuckled. "No, it was my fault. I shouldn't have stand to close to you. By the way, I am new here. Mind showing me around? I heard from the students that you are from the Student Council"

Kallen smiled and nodded. "Yes, I am. You need a tour around? Alright" she replied, sliding down her hidden blade for precaution. Her Eagle sense was tingling as she saw some weird kind of aura from the boy. Kallen looked at him from top to toe. She couldn't detect any dangerous weapon with him except for a file and a school bag.

"Oh yea, I am Jacob. Jacob Nathdrack. Yours?" Jacob introduced himself sensing Kallen's weird stare.

"Me? I am Kallen Stadtfeld. Nice meeting you" Kallen replied cautiously. There was a possibility that Jacob might heard her conversation with Rolo.

Kallen looked around, thinking of where she should start. "So where would you like me to show first?" She asked.

"Let me think...hmmm" Jacob thought and rubbed his chins.

"I heard that there is a student here with the nick name 'Ice Prince'?" He asked.

"You mean Lelouch Lamperouge? Yea, what about him?"

"I see. That's his name huh? Could you bring me to him?"

Kallen frowned. She did not expect the new student to choose to meet the spoilt prince first. "Huh?" She blurted out.

Britannia Military Base

South of Tokyo Settlement

Area 11

Jeremiah Gottwald looked around. He went all around the base, searching for a certain figure as ordered by his master, Lelouch. He asked every soldier in the base, describing the person he wanted to meet which none of them knows.

Finally, he decided to test his luck at the base's research lab. It was the last place he could think off. Pushing the glass door of the lab, Jeremiah entered the place with a feeling that the person was not there.

"Jeremiah! Welcome to Lloyd's lair!" A jovial voice greeted him. Standing right beside a knightmare was Lloyd Asplund, a mad scientist with snow white hair and would always be seen dressed in his lab coat.

"Hey, Lloyd. Have you seen Private Kururugi?" Jeremiah asked.

"You mean him?" Lloyd pointed to a lad sitting behind him. It was Suzaku Kururugi!

The brown hair lad with brown eyes raised his eye brow. He stood up firm his chair and head towards Jeremiah.

"You call me sir?" He said.

Jeremiah clasped his hands. "Finally! I found you! Where have you been?"

Suzaku scratched his cheek. He glanced at Lloyd and then at Cecile Croomy, the lab's assistant who was checking the knightmare.

"Trapped here for the whole day?" He replied. Jeremiah plucked his fingers. He turned towards Lloyd, knitting his eyebrows.

"Lloyd, you know, I had wasted so much time to find him?" Jeremiah hissed at Lloyd. The scientist shrugged and ignored Jeremiah's death glare.

"I need him to test drive my Lancelot, duh" Lloyd replied.

"Do you mind if I borrow him for a while?" Jeremiah asked. Lloyd raised his eyebrow.

"What for?"

"Prince Lelouch's orders"

Lloyd hesitated. He checked his watch and then his schedule. Grumbling, he said "Fine. 3.25 minutes. Only"

Jeremiah folded his arms and grinned. "That's good enough. Come Private Kururugi" he said and ordered the lad out from the lab.

"I heard you save me that day, thanks" Suzaku said and bowed in gratitude.

"That's a small matter. Anway, Prince Lelouch wanted me to tell you something"

"Huh?"

"It's about you in the military. He was worried that you might be bullied here because of your status. He wanted you to be someone of higher rank, not just a normal soldier"

"Me? Bullied? You gotta be kidding!"

"There's no kidding in Prince Lelouch's words, Private Kururugi"

Suzaku was silenced when he heard Jeremiah's rise in his tone. The man is so protective of his master, he thought.

"His Highness would like you to be Princess Nunnally's knight. If you don't mind." Jeremiah finally said the point.

Suzaku gasped. "Me? A knight? No, no. I am an Eleven, how could I be a knight?"

"Think about it. Here's the application form. I hope you use your brain" Jeremiah quickly ended their conversation. He checked his watch and cursed. It was already more than 3.25 minutes. He quickly sprint from the place, fearing to meet an angry Lloyd.

Ashford Academy

There was a weird atmosphere as Kallen lead Jacob towards the Student Council Room. She felt something peculiar from the glance of Jacob. He kept on staring at her from top to toe, like a rapist. Kallen shook her head. He couldn't be a rapist, perhaps he was just trying to have a good look at his future friend, she thought.

Jacob looked away and pretended to whistle a tune when Kallen caught his glance. He waved at a few students who were passing by. The girls's nose bled as they spotted him. Some were going gaga over the handsome lad.

"Gosh, isn't he like Lelouch? Girls were drooling at their feets. Gah, disgusting!" Kallen monologued. She loathed guys who had great effect on girls. It's not because she hated them to receive attention, but she had the mind set that all popular guys are jerks. Just like Lelouch who always brings bad luck to her. Every time she meets him, she will be always in trouble!

As they reached the door of the council room, Kallen stopped. She whipped her body towards Jacob and shot him a glare. The aura from Jacob was getting thicker from her vision. Most probably it means danger.

"Who are you actually? Why do you want to meet Lelouch?" She grabbed his collar and demanded an explanation.

Jacob was taken aback by her sudden change in mood. He smirked. "I see. You're not as what they said right? You're not as sick as they think you are"

Kallen gritted her teeth. Her sense was right! He was an enemy! She slid down the hidden blade further.

"Answer my questions!"

"If you think I am your enemy, do it now. I don't mind being killed by a pretty gal like you." He paused and shut his eyes. "Especially you're from the Creed" he whispered to her ears.

Kallen's face turned pale. She almost lost her balance. Gaping, she stared at Jacob. "How..."

Just then, Jacob burst into gales of laughter. "Just kidding. How could a noble girl like you to join such an organisation? Kallen, you're so fun to tease!" He guffawed.

Puzzlement was shown all across Kallen's face. What the hell? He was just joking? She screamed in her mind.

She quickly changed back into her sickly girl face and gave a fake laugh. "Haha, not funny Jacob. That's a lame joke" she replied.

Jacob shrugged. "That's how I joke" he replied and opened the door by himself. "Ladies, first" he said in a gentleman manner.

Kallen blushed. She entered the room awkwardly, meeting the puzzle eyes of Lelouch and then the other members. She quickly head towards Lelouch, signalling him to keep his guard up with the serious look on her face.

Lelouch realised it and quickly nodded. His hand touched the revolver he kept in his pocket and was ready to shoot if necessary.

"Hey people. I am Jacob Nathdrack. I am new here. I would like to join the Student Council. I heard it's an amazing club especially with the presence of the Ice Prince, Lelouch Lamperouge." Jacob immediately expressed his objectives, much to the Council members surprise.

"Isn't he that Jacob guy during our chess game?" Rivalz whispered to Lelouch. Milly immediately switched to her socialise mode and shook Jacob's hand.

"I like you Jacob! You are the man we wanted to add to our Council. Welcome!" Milly shrieked. She cheered loudly as she badly need a male in the Council to help with heavy chores since the two boys she had were too sissy and couldn't even lift a dumb bell!

Shirley, Nina and Rivalz were surprised at Milly's sudden intake of members while Lelouch and Kallen were on guard mode. Lelouch was suspicious over Jacob's identity while Kallen feared that Jacob might dig into her secret.

"Jacob Nathdrack..." Lelouch muttered to himself. Kallen nudged Lelouch elbow and spoke in a voice beyond whisper.

"I sense something weird from him. Better be careful"

Lelouch nodded weakly. His violet eyes met the empty brown eyes of Jacob Nathdrack. The boy grinned at Lelouch.

"Greetings, old friend. It's seems that fate has bind us together again"

Pendragon City

Mainland

Imperial Palace

Charles zi Britannia entered the throne room. It was cold and quiet in the room, just like the day when his beloved wife died. The sandy haired emperor stepped into the room, his footsteps echoed. As he caressed the smooth and cold marble throne chair, he remembered of the day he ascended the throne.

It was tough for him, the youngest among his siblings to finally get the throne. He didn't have to suffer a bloody battle among his siblings. Instead, he just waited and waited at the side for each of his siblings to kill each other until not a single one left. When one of Britannia founding families, the Nathdrack wanted to claim the throne, Charles send half of the family to the guillotine while the others were expelled from the nobility. The Leos who witnessed the fall of the Nathdrack immediately supported Charles and helped the young emperor to tighten his control on the throne.

That was fifty years ago since he ascended the throne. Now the situation was still the same. His children were fighting silently among themselves for the throne, trying to impress him with their capabilities. However among his children, Charles was more keen to see Marianne's son, Lelouch.

The young boy had proved that he could challenged his pure blood siblings although he was considered handicap as he was born as half commoner. Lelouch had managed to rise almost to the level of Prince Clovis where he will be taking over the position as the Governor of Area 11. The boy was also seen to have the strategist mind of Prince Schneizel and the ability to lead to victory in Princess Cornelia. He was therefore, the most perfect child of Charles apart from Schneizel.

But there was someone other than from the Imperial family which caught his attention. It seemed that the remnants of the fallen Nathdrack family had been educating their generations using the same way where his prices and princesses were taught. He had seen tremendous changes in the lifestyle of the Nathdracks over the years.

They had managed to preserve their nobility by crowning themselves the royalty of the Underworld. The Nathdracks became the King of criminals of the world. Their wealth surpass almost all of the nobles families including the Leos.

Among the Nathdracks, Charles sensed one of them will bring havoc to his empire and moreover had chances to snatch the throne. The 13th generation of the Nathdracks, perhaps the last descendant of the traitor of the empire, the grandson of Rupert Nathdrack who wanted the throne from Charles - Jacob Altoir Nathdrack.

"He is compatible to my son, Lelouch. Let's see how much can you grandson challenge mine, Rupert?" Charles smiled. He sat on the throne chair and watched his own reflection on the marble floor. His bright violet eyes could be seen clearly.

"The winner takes it all" he whispered.

A pair of red violet eyes watched the emperor from distance. He snorted and grinned. Then he turned his back away and disappeared.

Area 11

Viceroy's Palace

Cornelia frowned upon seeing the applicant name for Lelouch's knight. She muttered something and was seen thinking deeply about her brother's choice.

"Is there something wrong, Your Highness?" Guilford, her knight asked. The tall and long haired man flipped through the photos of the red head knight of Prince Lelouch.

"I don't know, it's just that I think my brother chose the wrong person. I mean normally knight should be male but why he took in a female?" Cornelia replied.

"But Empress Marianne is a knight" Guilford mentioned.

Cornelia realised her mistake. She had accidentally discriminate her idol. "That's an exception, Guilford"

Guilford nodded. He examined the photos closer. "Maybe Prince Lelouch chose her because she's pretty? I heard many nobleman were talking about this half breed beauty" he deduced.

Cornelia raised her eyebrow. "Half breed?"

"There were rumours that Kallen Stadtfeld had Eleven blood in her. Well, that are rumours. But really, I could see some Eleven features in her if I look closer"

Cornelia grabbed the photos. She frowned again. She was horrible in relating things. Especially about beauty. She was only talented in warfare.

"Perhaps, perhaps he chose her because of her beauty. But really, choosing someone without army training as a knight? He gotta be kidding me!" Cornelia exclaimed.

Guilford shrugged. Then he suddenly remembered something. "Your Highness, I have something to inform you"

"What is it?"

"A member of the Nathdrack family is in Area 11"

Cornelia's face turned ashen white upon hearing it. She grabbed Guilford's collar. With her eyes widened, she repeated Guilford's question.

"A member of Nathdrack family?"

Guilford nodded. Cornelia released him and smacked her face. She gripped the side of table, thinking of something to push the trouble maker out. Cornelia loathed the Nathdracks. They brought chaos to every country with their triads. The Triads were destructive and violent. They threatened the peace at every cities and caused the crime rate to increase tremendously.

The Nathdracks are the kings of all criminals. Their minds were trained to think like criminals and govern the Underworld like a dictator. The Nathdracks are also superb strategist and generals. They could mastermind the most complicated crimes of the world that would takes years for people to crack. Cornelia would say that the Nathdracks planned all the crimes in the world.

"I wonder what kind of Underworld business does the family have here? I smell trouble..." Cornelia mumbled to herself. She scratched her head and sighed. She looked at the profile of Kallen.

"The Stadtfelds too are another controversial family...damn why does the two families come in my life at one time?" She hissed and banged the table.

At the same time

West Wing of Viceroy's Palace

Along the corridors of the west wing of the Viceroy's Palace, Kewell Soresi was seen walking around with his favourite tool, a sceptre with the Purist Faction logo. It was specially made for the leader of Purist Faction as a symbol of power. Kewell love the sceptre so much that he will wipe it every day. He never left it away from him.

Swinging the sceptre in his hands, he took a right turn towards a darker area. Kewell sensed something weird. He felt like someone had been watching him from a distance. He turned around, looking for any suspicious person. Kewell pulled put his gun and aimed at every direction.

"Who's there?" He shouted.

However there was no response. The whole place was dead silence. Kewell sighed and continued walking forward. Just then he heard rustle of fabric. He turned back but it was too late. Something flew from behind at a fast speed. Before Kewell could decipher what it was, the object had struck him, sinking right into his chest.

"What the-" Kewell fell to his knees. His left hand lost grip of his sceptre while his right hand lost grip of his gun. He felt something entering his veins, paralysing his movements. He looked down and saw the object. It was a dart, a black dart with a symbol that whole of Britannia feared and hated.

The insignia of the Creed.

Kewell crushed down on the floor and lost his consciousness. A slender figure with long gold wavy hair approached him. She crouched and examined the fallen Purist Faction leader.

"Looks like my mission is done" she whispered. She looked up and signalled her accomplices, both females wearing the maids uniform to come.

"Yes, my lord" the two maids said simultaneously. Their face were expressionless and had red rings around their eyes. The two nodded and followed her instructions. They carried away Kewell towards the direction which was ordered.

The slender figure smiled. She grabbed the sceptre and the gun on the floor. "It's so nice for him to leave me gifts even I am his enemy" she cackled and then walked away, swinging her prize.

A/N: Nothing much to say. Any suggestions what should I write for the next chapter?

This chapter is called the Princes Meeting as Prince Lelouch finally meets the Prince of the Underworld, Jacob.

Any reviews on my OC? I hope it won't be a Mary Sue. I guess I shall add another OC in this story.
