Silver had been watching Blaze recover from the attack by some of Metal's forces, Blaze herself had full mobility but was still trying to get back into
fighting shape due to the inaction she had during the month she was unable to get out of the hospital. Omega, during that time, had taken over the
responsibility of patrolling the city while Silver was making sure she was ok, and had been quite successful with keeping the crooks in line.
But one thing was bothering Silver. 'Why hasn't Metal attacked recently?
He seriously couldn't think he defeated us with just that attack.' He thought to himself as he walked out of the hospital.
A doctor ran up to him and said, "Ah, Silver, good news: Blaze is all set and ready to go home when she wishes to. I'll inform her soon."
Silver smiled knowing his ally would be back in action soon and said a quick thanks to the doctor before he flew off to join Omega who had reported
there was robbery by the newly formed Anti-Sonic Heroes. When he arrived he saw a white with green stripes version of Shadow, a dark grey version
of himself wearing highly advanced technology, a green, white and purple version of Omega, and a yellow Blaze robbing the bank. These people were
from Scourge's anti-verse, and the leader was Anti-Blaze, who had changed the always happy and helpful Anti-Shadow and peace loving Anti-Omega
into opposite versions of themselves so that they loved violence and anger.
The Anti-Silver there though was trying to cause chaos, even yelling, "I will destroy the future!"
Then laughing crazily as he threw more cars into buildings. Anti-Blaze was a cruel but easy going leader who had control over ice. It was rumored her
heart was as cold as her ice. Omega was currently behind cover under fire from Anti-Shadow who had a machine gun in hand and Anti-Omega who was
firing grenades from his RPG equipped arms that had been strapped on and hot-wired to work with Anti-Omega in order to attack opponents. Silver
swooped in from above firing off three psychic knives at the Antis, one which chopped Anti-Omega's left arm off while the other two missed their targets
of Anti-Omega's other arm and Anti-Shadow barely. But as Anti-Omega had not been designed for combat, he luckily enough did not have the function
to begin self repairs and as he and Anti-Shadow were focusing on the still flying Silver, Omega was finally able to react with violence. Omega
transformed his arms into chain guns, firing at Anti-Omega and tore him to shreds.
Omega's eyes flickered before he said, "Taunt: Inferior model."
Anti-Shadow saw his downed ally as he opened fire upon Omega who was forced to go back behind cover as he wished to not spend the rest of the
day recharging and self-repairing, which could take hours of the day if the damage was enough.
Omega thought to himself, 'That is the one downside of these upgrades, they interfere with my original programming and majorly slow down the
process of self-repair. Now I can no longer storm in firing away knowing that i'll be repaired from my damages in a few minutes or seconds, now I have
to wait ten minutes for even a bullet hole though me to be fixed up by my own functions. At the very least, I have improved combat capabilities.'
Silver ripped away the gun with a great amount of effort from Anti-Shadow's hands, but then Anti-Silver turned upon his flying self and kicked his boot
to activate the jets on both of his boots and shot off to Silver. When he arrived at his opponent, he clicked a button on his gloves and the technologic
equipment on him began to glow a sickly yellow as a device on his left eye began to read information about Silver.
Silver himself though threw a psychic knife which was dodged by the Anti who then had his glove glow with the energy flowing through it as the Anti
yelled, "Energy knife!"
Throwing a plasma energy version of Silver's psychic knife. Anti-Silver explained, "You see, unlike you, I wasn't gifted with psychic powers, instead, I got
a brain for technology, and so I made what I wear which allows me to mimc my opponent's abilities along with superior speed when running, along with
enhanced strength, which I use to toss cars around. I haven't had a need to copy any of my opponent's abilities as they have all been inferior to the
technology I have, but I believe you are worthy enough to take the place in my technology. Unfortunately enough I made a flaw in the program and can
only copy one person's powers in this set's lifetime. But I won't need any more than just your own to beat you."
Silver groaned with annoyance at his opposite's cockiness, proceeding to grab him inside his psychic field, but his opponent broke through saying, "Are
you foolish enough to think that may work? I can't because we can counter the field by surrounding ourselves with our own, breaking the other's hold."
Silver smiled and said, "You think so highly of yourself to tell me how to counter your abilities, thanks."
Anti-Silver's eyes grew in shock as he realized what he had just revealed, but Silver had spread his arms and legs out, beginning to summon his psychic
energy that coursed through him and even showed some arcs of energy rushing out into his arms.
The Anti, bewildered at what Silver was doing, asked, "What are you doing?!"
Silver smiled once more as he shook his head slightly, throwing his arms out and yelled, "Psychic laser!"
The beam rushed at the Anti who was too slow to run from the blast as it rushed at him, engulfing him in it's energy.
When the energy faded from Silver's sight, he saw nothing remaining of his opponent. But then he felt full of remorse knowing what he just did. He
floated slowly towards the ground, landing on his knees, distraught in his actions.
He said quietly to himself, "I just...took a life. I ended it with an attack that I didn't consider the consequences of using. I'm a killer."
He then shed dry tears as he grew angry at himself, considering himself a heartless monster for the death. Anti-Blaze was also thoroughly shocked but
recovered quickly, but as omega was no longer under fire from Anti-Shadow, began to fire at Anti-Blaze who reacted by skating on ice up to Omega,
dodging the bullets using her agility, and touched Omega's arm, beginning to freeze Omega quickly, preventing him from acting.
Anti-Blaze admired her handiwork and asked Anti-Shadow, "What do you think, should I destroy him or make him one of my statues?"
Anti-Shadow replied, "You work is much too beautiful to destroy my lady."
Anti-Blaze nodded, saying back, "Yeah, you're definitely right. My work is always pretty."
She then saw the innerly tortured Silver, pointed at him, and ordered Anti-Shadow, "Kill him for taking one of ours. Then we'll have done the same to
his team."
The ever obedient Anti-Shadow said, "Of course my lady."
He walked up to the kneeling light grey hedgehog, but then a tired looking Blaze stopped him by throwing a flame at him saying, "Back away."
Anti-Shadow said to his empress, "My lady, I believe you should have the honor of proving whom is the superior of you both."
Anti-Blaze nodded before making an ice path to blaze and skating over to her and throwing ice daggers at her, laze melted them with a wave of fire,
but as she was recovering, she was obviously more exhausted than her opposite. The Anti was skating around blaze but then made an ice path
upwards, curving around 180 degress, and sliding down back at Blaze, making an ice path right beside her, as she zoomed pass she placed her right
hand upon Blaze's shoulder for a moment and released her freezing powers before taking it off and hopping off her path, taking a few steps to slow
herself down as Blaze was slowly frozen. Because of Blazes pyrokinetic powers, it took longer but after five minutes, Silver's savior was frozen solid
along with her mechanical companion.
Anti-Blaze said to Anti-Shadow, "On second thought, how about I freeze the guy as well, then i'll almost have the complete set."
She walked up slowly to him, place her left hand upon one of his shoulders, and froze him solid in his distraught state.
The Empress asked, "Is this the big woop the people of this city were talkin' 'bout?"
Anti-Shadow nodded and Anti-Blaze continued, "Didn't seem that tough to me."
Anti-Shadow then pressed a button on his glove and a portal opened to the anti-verse, he then pushed the three frozen heroes into the frozen palace
of Anti-Blaze. When the three had entered, Anti-Blaze joined in and skipped through the portal to see her huge arrangement of frozen opponents as
statues. She skated over to her throne, jumping up in the air midway, twirling around, landing gracefully, before leaping into her throne.
Anti-Shadow clapped enthusiastically, praising her, "Excellent performance as always my queen."
He then heard something behind him and closed the portal and faced to see who or what was behind him.
