"Okay, are you ready to begin?" Miyuki asked as she and Sonia stood in an empty room.
"I am, hai," Sonia nodded, her tail wagging a little in excitement.
"Good," Miyuki nodded, "Then let's get started on helping you with your ears and tail. The first thing you need to know is how to feel your spirit animal."
"Spirit Animal?"
"When someone of the Oina tribe reaches a certain age, they start to become more in tune with the Spirit Animal within their soul," Miyuki explained, "As for what a Spirit Animal is, it is, well, the animal your spirit takes form of when you look at it."
"Really?"
"Hai. For example…" Miyuki began as she flipped into the air, turning into her fox form, "Mine is that of the kitsune. Tricky, elusive, yet a mysterious animal. Unlike regular foxes, kitsune can create illusions and-if trained hard enough- can control the powers of a certain element."
"Really? Sugoi…" Sonia awed.
"Why thankyu. Though, I do believe it's obvious what yours is," Miyuki noted as she walked around Sonia, her tail pointing at Sonia's ears and tail, "A wolf: a courageous, noble animal." she shifted back to her human form, but kept her fox ears and tail, "Right now, you're in the Mid-Stage, a sort of between form between your human self and Spirit Animal self."
"What would this form be called?" Sonia asked.
"Well through the ages-and through media-people gave it different names. Beastkin, Faunus, Demi-human, Animus, and so on, kyu," Miyuki answered, "The Oina simply call it the Mid-Stage. Aside from, well..." she pointed at her ears and tail, "...You also have semi-diluted abilities from your full Animal form, but also some drawbacks as well."
"Drawbacks?"
"Well, it depends on the Spirit Animal. Originally, Oina were all mammals, but as we spread over the world, more kinds popped up and revealed drawbacks we never noticed in the Mid-Stage. Avian Mid-Stages would molt and would try to flee whenever someone approaches them and coud even catch the diseases other avians can get. Reptillian Mid-Stages would end up being blind if they were a snake, but all would get reptile-related diseases. Though you and I are both mammals with our Spirit Animals and women."
"Um...Why point out our gender, Miyuki-sensei?"
"Because there's also gender-related drawbacks, kyu. For males with a Mammal Mid-Stage, they become more territorial, easily agitated and drawn more to fight than flee, and tend to flirt with multiple women at once," Miyuki explained, "For you and I, as females with a Mammal Mid-Stage, we do become a bit more territorial, but we also become far more protective of those younger than us, go into a heat that lasts for two to three weeks every six months, produce milk despite not being pregnant often resulting in an increased bust size than when you're in your Human form, and can get mammal-related illnesses such as rabies. Oh, and if you're more canine, you get far more distracted by little red dots on the floor that move about...and when you spot a squirrel."
"What were the third and fourth things?" Sonia asked with wide eyes.
"But those only happen in our Mid-Stage, so let's get you to learn how to fully change between the three, kyu!" Miyuki continued as if she never heard Sonia's question.
"...Okay then…." Sonia slowly nodded, "So...how do I change into my animal form?"
"Well, you…" Miyuki began before she noticed a red dot on the floor, "..."
"Eh?" Sonia followed Miyuki's sight to the dot, "..."
"Huh...That actually works," Lyra noted, holding a laser pointer while moving it, causing the two to follow the light with their heads before Miyuki pounced first followed by Sonia, "Oh my."
"Where'd it go?!" Miyuki exclaimed, looking around.
"Over there!" Sonia pointed at a wall where the dot was.
"Mine!" Miyuki pounced, only to hit the wall with her head, "Ite, kyu!"
"Oh, it's on your back!" Sonia yelped before she pounced, "Mine!"
"Kyu?" Miyuki blinked before Sonia crashed into her, "KYU!"
"...We agree to never let Omega-Xis learn of this?" Lyra noted to Frost...only to see her chasing the light as well, "..."
"It's back on the wall!" Frost exclaimed.
"After the dot, kyu!" Miyuki shouted.
"HAI!" both shouted as the trio chased after it.

"Man...Was kinda hoping we'd get to see how she can turn into a fox," Ace noted with a sigh as he, Geo, and Tia sat at an outdoor table near a food truck.
"You wanted to learn how to turn into an animal, didn't you?" Omega-Xis deadpanned.

"No you didn't," Tia stated, reading the newspaper.

"...That's not normal water," Tia noted with a slight frown, "Acid, scan and see if you can determine if an EM Being is behind it."

"...Odd," Tia whispered, holding her chin in thought, "Then what could be behind that rain then?"
"Rain...rain…" Issun muttered, "Sounds like Kei'u."

"It's also called Deluge," Issun explained, "Stories tell of the Fudegami Nuregami would use it to create a cleansing rain that injures demons and help farmers have amazing crops."
"..." Geo and Omega-Xis slowly blinked before rushing out of their seats, Issun yelping while holding onto a strand of Geo's hair to avoid falling off.

'A Corrupted Fudegami...how is that possible?' Miyuki thought as they rushed out.
"The river's overflowing? Now that's unusual," Hope noted in concern.
"We've gotten an evacuation notice," Kevin spoke, looking at the television.
"And on the same day Geo's new telescope arrived," Hope sighed, "I swear, it's like the world just doesn't want him to have it."

"Oh! She can manipulate all bodies of water," Issun explained, "She not only knows Deluge, but also Waterspout, which is how she controls said bodies of water."
"Waterspout?" Megaman repeated.
"Hai! I hear you can make geysers to act as platforms, make trails to put out fires, and all kinds of stuff so long as it's a body of liquid!" Issun explained.
"...Does the liquid in your body count?" Lyra Note cautiously asked.
"Mmm...I don't think so," Issun replied, "I think it had to be a body of liquid like a pond or a vat of magma...or the puddle Baka-Ryu makes when he gets too excited for a fight."
"I DO NOT MAKE A PUDDLE YOU LITTLE PERVERT!" Omega-Xis snapped, "Tell him, Geo!" an awkward silence followed, "...Uh, Geo? You're supposed to be agreein' I don't."

"...Bakugami?" Omega-Xis repeated, "The pig statue?"
"That's Mrs. Pig to you," Issun explained, "Bakugami is said to have created explosives and fireworks. It's said that her strongest explosives can shatter diamond!"
"..Wait. If that's true…" Lyra Note began in realization, "...Two Corrupted Fudegami…"
"Oh, this is going to suck…" Megaman groaned, "One alone is hard to fight and even then we had help from Tachigami's kids…" he paused before pulling out the screen once more, "Ah, good. Some Water BattleCards in case Bakugami's a Fire Attribute."
"Good. You thought ahead," Blizzard Kyuubi nodded, "Now come. We should be near Echo Ridge."
"Right/Hai!" both replied.
"Frost, send Ace-san a message to beware of hidden bombs in the Wave Roads."
"H-hai, Miyuki-sama."
As the trio continued on, none of them noticed a figure watching from a nearby rooftop. The figure snorted, letting smoke out of their nostrils, before it followed after them.
"...my god…" Ace whispered with wide eyes, looking at the screen with Goodall showing the condition of Echo Ridge.
"The flooding has gotten to the point it's actually uprooting homes," Goodall noted, "Though...that shouldn't be possible. With the recent developments in technology, the systems should very well make them incapable of being carried away by a flood."

A massive burst of water erupted far ahead of them, giving way to a pitch-black scale-ridden form, a glowing purple aura seeping through the various layers of scales. The trio skidded to a halt as more and more of the scaled form gave rise until a massive serpentine head with a split lower jaw littered in rows upon rows of fangs came from the waters. Its head tilted upwards, giving out the distorted roar as dark purple markings on its body glowed a sickly green. Lyra Note flinched as her heart-shaped tattoos began to glow through her chest armor.
"It's a Fudegami," Lyra Note confirmed, "Either that, or a very very big demon."

"Tachigami told us of this," Issun recalled, "He said that some of the Fudegami that Amaterasu-sama had with her at the time she confronted Orochi unknowingly absorbed its essence when it was killed by her and Susano'o and it corrupted them as people forgot about them."
"...Such is the sad truth of the world," Blizzard Kyuubi lowered her head, "As time went on...the people forget the gods more and more, to the point where it was 'scientifically' proven they didn't exist."
"Even the history and language faded away," Issun sighed.
"Incoming head!" Megaman called as the trio barely avoided the corrupted Nuregami's lunge, her jaws tearing through the Wave Roads with ease.

"Mm…" Lyra Note mummered as she pulled her available Battlecards put, "I have some...and a few summon ones, but…"
"Summon?" Blizzard Kyuubi's ears twitched a bit at that.
"They're experimental, so I'm not sure what would happen if I used them."
"Experimental or not, if they can turn the tides then please use!" Issun pleaded as he pointed at Nuregami coming at them once more, "Because incoming mouth!"
"And incoming Imps!" Megaman added as some Imps were coming from behind them.
"Ahh! ...Mou fine! Summon card set! Team PUNch!" Lyra Note shouted.
Nuregami was nearly upon them when something landed in her mouth. A gun cocking went off before explosions began to go off repeatedly inside of her mouth, making her screech and move back from the Wave Road. A brown blur shot past Megaman and Blizzard Kyuubi before it slammed into the charging Imps, scattering them with fist indents in their stomachs while knocking their flutes and stringed instruments into the waters below.
"Whoo! We rock!" two voices shouted as a yellow blur shot out of Nuregami's burnt mouth and landed next to the brown blur.
"...Uh, Sonia?"
"Hai, Geo-kun?"
"Are those Makoto Nanaya and that Yang girl from the game we played before we went to the beach?" Megaman asked.
"That's right."
"...uh Yang?" Makoto spoke to the blonde next to her.
"Yeah, Makoto?"
"Where...are we?"
"...good question…" the blonde muttered as she looked around, "...Did that freaky voice make this area, too?"
"...Geo-kun…" Lyra Note began nervously.
"I swear that never happens with Summon chips when I use them!" Megaman quickly defended.
"Then how do you explain those two being here?!"
"...perhaps..it's because of Amaterasu's power…" Blizzard Kyuubi guessed, earning their attention, "Geo, how do Summon Chips normally work for you?"
"...Well, it summons a copy of whoever I've fought before, and they disappear after they used their signature move," Megaman answered, "...wait. Are you saying…?"
"Because of the power inside Misora-chan, when she uses them...the copies she summons act like the actual characters," Blizzard Kyuubi answered, "If not for a limited amount of time."
"You have any idea what they're talking about?" Yang whispered to Makoto, the two overhearing their conversation.
"Something about some lady name Ammy, I guess," Makoto replied with a shrug before looking back at Nuregami as her mouth healed, "Whoa, that's fast healing."
"Guess it's still hungry," Yang noted, cracking her knuckles.
"...eto…" Lyra Note whispered, looking between Nuregami and some more Imps and Demons as they appeared, looking at the people struggling to get out of the water and staying on the roofs of the drowned buildings, "...oi, Makoto-san, Yang-san!"
"Hmm?" the two blinked as they turned, not noticing Issun fainting after seeing a certain part of them bounce a bit.
"Those things are going to attack those people! Can you help us and getting rid of those things while we hold Nuregami-the giant snake-back?"
"...Hmm…." Yang began to ponder before smirking at Makoto, "Betcha I can get more than you."
"Oh, you're on!" Makoto declared, "Loser buys the winner dinner!"

"Okay...Team Busty Brawlers go!" the two declared as they charged at the Imps and demons.

"...Oina Oigi; Yukikaze…" Blizzard Kyuubi as she slashed once...causing the water-and the Wave Road before her-to instantly freeze and cut in two.
"Woah!" Megaman and Lyra Note yelped in surprise at that.
"Let's get going!" Omega-Xis barked.

"BattleCard Pr…" Lyra Note began before her ears twitched, "...what's that sound?"
"Sound?" Megaman repeated.
"...Hey…" Makoto spoke, her own ears twitching as she punched a Imp into the water below, "...That sounds like a fuse of a bomb."
"Bomb?" Yang repeated, punching two Red Imps into the water.

"We gotcha!" Makoto and Yang shouted, using a nearby broken building to bounce off of and grab both Megaman and Lyra Note.
"Sensei!" Lyra Note gasped as she tried to reach for Blizzard Kyuubi.
"...Oina Oigi: Geppou," Blizzard Kyuubi whispered as, once her feet touched the water, she bounced off it, surprising the four as she began hopping off the air and onto a nearby roof.
"...Did you just jump off the water and air without using a BattleCard?" Lyra asked.
"You kick hard enough to 'jump' on the air," Blizzard Kyuubi explained, "It's one of the Oina clan's techniques."
"...Sounds like something ninjas would use," Makoto noted.
"Meh. I've seen better, right Geo?" Omega-xis asked, earning silence in response, "...uh Geo?"
"...uh Yang?" Makoto spoke, earning the blonde's attention as she pointed down, "He needs air."

"?!" the two tensed as they got into a battle stance.
"...it must be the other corrupted Fudegami," Blizzard Kyuubi noted as she and Lyra Note stood ready.
"So s-" Megaman began before an explosion went off nearby, "?!"
"̶̕͟S͡aa s̶̢̕aa~̡!́ B͢͏̶a͜kuǵ͡ami͟͝, ͡st̴̨̛á͞ỳ̧ ̀͝ò̡ut̶ o̕f̨ my h͠unt̵̵~̨!͡" Nuregami hissed at a nearby figure.
"B҉ah͝ ҉t̴ơ̴̢ ̴yo̧̕͝u a͞͞͏nd̸ yo̡͞u̢r̢̀ ̷̛h̶͝unts! I lo͟͢v̢́͡ȩ̕͝ ex͏pļ̷ơsí̸̶o҉n̷͜͝s͏̛!"
The figure, at first, made Geo think it was Taurus Flame. However, their body armor was made of layered metals with several bandoliers of dynamite all over their form. The head was an actual boar's head wearing a layered helmet with a rusty metal crest shaped like a cartoon bomb.
"Ah! Tha...That's Bakugami! He's the Fudegami who made the first fireworks!" Issun exclaimed.
"...Wait. That's a he?" Omega-Xis asked.
"̶Bw̢͘͠eę͘e?! ̸̛̛Sexist ̀d̵͜ràg̡o͝n̵!"̵͟ Bakugami snapped before tossing some dynamite at the group, "̡E̶̡̢a̵̸͢t ͜͞my̕ ͠gl͏̨̀o̶̴͝r̡̨̛i͝o͡u͡͞͝ş ̨̕͢m̢̕͞as҉͞͡terpi͏͞͏e̵ce̡͏s̶!͡͡ Bą̕kub҉́w̵ee̢͝~!"

"Aw come on!" Omega-Xis snapped as they barely avoided the explosives.
"Well...stuck between a snake and a explosive boar," Yang noted as she looked between Nuregami and Bakugami, "...Reminds me of when we took on that Tager guy and that huge old man with the claws."
"Yeah, because they were very grapple heavy," Makoto added.
"You just need to be very flexible and speedy, kyu," Blizzard Kyuubi added.
"She gets it," the two brawlers smirked.
=C-can we please focus?= Frost asked.
"Right," Lyra Note agreed, looking around, "No sign of anymore Imps. Kyuubi-san, can you, Makoto-san, and Yang-san fight Bakugami-sama? We'll fight Nuregami-sama."
"We'll hold her back as long as we can," Blizzard Kyuubi nodded before looking at Yang and Makoto, "You two in?"
"...We would, but I feel we're missing context here," Makoto pointed out.
"Yeah, so care to explain what's happening?" Yang asked, "Because we were both in the middle of some interdimensional tag tournament and teamed up to deal with an opposing team."
"...How do I put this…?" Lyra Note whispered.
"We're basically dealing with corrupted gods that can only change back when ya beat them up to the point they explode into beds of flowers," Omega-Xis deadpanned.

"...Well...least we get bragging rights when we get back, Makoto," Yang smirked to her fellow brawer.
"Oh yeah," Makoto smirked, "We'll help deal with 'Porky' while you go deal with tall, grim, and slithery."

"MOVE!" the Oina female warrior snapped as she dragged the two away, making them yelp in surprise as a fuming Bakugami chased after them.
"...I like that blondie," Omega-Xis smirked, "Good taste in taunts."
"Wait. 'Mr?'" Megaman asked.
"Yeah. He's got several kids call the Bakugamiko when all together," Issun explained, "...Huh...Do you think they hid like the Tachigamiko?"
"...Depends…" Megaman began as Nuregami roared, causing several waterspouts to rise up, "...Does Nuregami have any children?"
"No clue. I only knew that Bakugami had kids. The Tachigamiko surprised me," Issun replied.
"Oh...I was hoping there would be…" Megaman said as he and Lyra Note prepared themselves.
"AHH!" the trio of Blizzard Kyuubi, Yang, and Makoto screamed as they barely avoided another explosion, they and Bakuami now within an empty stadium.
"͠Get̶̷ b̨ack ̵h̕͞ę͢͟r̵ę͝ ̢̧á̛͘nd͜ b͏͘e ̡̡͜explo͘d̷̀e̡̕d̶ ͘͡by ̵̡ḿ͟͡y̶̶͘ ̸͢f̀̀͡i͜͢҉r͘e͞͝͠works̢!̷"̢͢͝

"Least you didn't have an entire herd of Boarbatusk chase after ya!" Yang argued.
"I'd argue, but we have a mission to take care of!" Blizzard Kyuubi snapped, slamming a palm on the ground as it create a wall of ice, blocking some dynamite that was coming at them, "I'm open to any ideas!"
"Right, right, right," Makoto replied, "Um...Okay, what do we know about this bomber?"
"He's the God of Explosions who created the Celestial Brush Technique Cherry Bomb, which creates a bomb that can break even stone," Blizzard Kyuubi explained, "And if he uses the technique to summon more than one at a time, their explosive power increases with each one made."
"Got it. More bombs equals big boom," Yang nodded as she reeled her arm back, her gauntlets making a 'cocking' sounds before she punched forward, sending out a blast at Bakugami.
Bakugami jumped out of the way of the shots before throwing several sticks of dynamite at her.
"Comet Cannon: Break Shot!" Makoto shouted, forming an energy sphere before punching it at the dynamite, causing them to explode upon impact.
"B͜ak̡̧҉u͘bw̶̶e͠e!̴́͘ H͟͢͠o̕w da̵re ̛y͝o͟u ḑ̡̨e̵̕s̴͘͜t̢ro̡͢y ḿ͘͜ý͘͢ ҉͢p҉̷re̶̛̕ci̡o̢u͡s͏̶ art̷!͠͡?"́ Bakugami snapped.
"Art?" Makoto repeated, "It's just explosions."

"What can you do, kyu?" Blizzard Kyuubi whispered to Yang.
"Well, I get stronger the longer I get pummeled," Yang replied.
"She's not wrong," Makoto spoke up, "We spared once and hoo boy...gave her a Big Bang Smash, and I got Big Bang SMASHED, especially when I accidently touched her hair."
"Kyu?"
"One thing with me...don't. Touch. The Hair," Yang advised in a serious tone.
"Soka…" Blizzard Kyuubi noted before looking at her hair, "I think she burnt some, kyu."
"Huh?"
"From one of the explosions, kyu," she continued.
"...Are you lying to try to get me mad?" Yang asked before blinking and her eyes widened when they were surrounded by several spherical bombs, "...oh…"
"...Shit," Makoto finished.
*BOOOOOOOM!*
"̴̨̛H̕͟͡͞a̶̢̕͞h͏̶̨!̨͝ ҉G̷̸̨͠o҉̶͢t̀ ͏͞y̛͏á̶̡!̡͜͞҉"̢́͘ Bakugami cheered as the smoke cleared to reveal shards of ice before the air distorted and the trio appeared, Blizzard Kyuubi's tails hugging the two girls.
"That just feels weird, kyu…" Blizzard Kyuubi shuddered.
=S-Sorry…= Frost apologized.
"That was insane!" Makoto gawked.
"We nearly exploded!" Yang agreed before spotting something; a single golden strand of hair, "..."
"...oh dear…." Makoto whispered as she slowly stepped back.
"Bakugami tensed when he felt it...a massive killing intent aimed right towards him.
(Cue: I Burn(Yang's Theme))
"...M-music?" Frost blinked when a sudden beat filled the air.
"You….MONSTER!" Yang snapped as her hair ignited while her eyes turned red.
"Ahh! D-dragon!?" Blizzard Kyuubi quickly exclaimed.
"Yeah, that? That's why you don't touch the hair," Makoto pointed out.
Yang held up her gauntlets and the backs opened, revealing shotgun shells. They shot out and Yang replaced them with bright red and gold ones. She cocked them before rushing at Bakugami. Bakugami was about to throw a bomb at her...only to be hit hard in the face by Yang's fist. The resulting shockwave broke all nearby glass as Bakugami was sent flying and crashing into a wall. He got back up and threw several bombs at Yang only for the blazing blond to open fire with much large shotgun blasts that blew up the bombs. Yang erupted from the smoke and delivered a series of punches to Bakugami's stomach, face, and basically everywhere Yang could punch.
"...oh my sweet kami, kyu…" Blizzard Kyuubi whispered with wide eyes.
=Oh d-d-d-d-dear…= Frost whimpered.
"BattleCard Predation! Spade Magnus V3!" Megaman called.
Before him, a large semi-transparent Wizard appeared. Its lower body was a black ball crackling with red electricity with a white body that had gold detailing. Its left and right arms resembled the halves of rockets with the left arm being blue and the right arm being red. Its head was bulky with horns resembling a magnet. The summoned Wizard roared before shooting at Nuregami, delivering two sharp slashes with its blue and red energy blades crackling with electricity. Nuregami flicked her tongue and a blast of water tore through the summoned Wizard before her tail slammed into Megaman.
"Gah!" Megaman cried out as he was sent through the air, Omega-Xis barely managing to shift their frequency to let them phase through an housing complex's wall before changing back, letting Megaman hit a wall, "Guh! Ow…"
"Tch. What the hell is with that giant water snake?!" Omega-Xis growled as he appeared beside Megaman, unaware of a vase on the shelf above Megaman shaking from the impact until it fell and crashed on his head, "GAH!" he looked around before looking down at the vase, "The hell?" he picked it up and snarled, "Not in the mood for slapstick!" he roared before slashing the vase, cutting it in two, "GRAH!"
"Mega…" Megaman groaned as he got up, "Why did you do that?!"
"The stupid thing hit me when I was already pissed!" Omega-Xis argued, shaking one of the broken pieces before pausing in his shaking it, "Huh? Aw great, now the gnat's gonna be pissed, which means he'll get the out-of-tune harp on my case."
"Why?"
"Take a look at this," Omega-Xis replied as he turned the piece around to see a broken bit of kanji, "This was inside of the thing."
"...You broke a vase with that 'kanji' stuff Issun talked about," Megaman sighed, 'I'm starting to feel that him being called an idiot dragon is right.'
"Buhi…"
"?!" both looked around before the remains of the vase erupted in white smoke, covering them before dispersing, revealing them to be in the mountainous cloudy range.
"Aw great…" Omega-Xis grumbled before oinking made the two look to see four pure white piglets with red markings, 'wings' on their shoulders, and carrying firecrackers...all while stacked on each other on a brightly-colored paper-made orb-shaped bomb.
"Hello!" the first piglet greeted.
"We are…" the second piglet continued.
"The Bakugamiko!" the third piglet finished.
"Um...h-hi," Megaman greeted.
"Aw great. So what are you porky's gonna do? Slice my head off?" Omega-Xis snorted before pulling his head off, "Cause you're too late for that. The stupid mice did it already."
The four shared looks before throwing their firecrakers at Omega-Xis, causing him to be repeatedly blown up by each one.
"Gah! You little…" Omega-Xis growled before more firecrackers appeared and began to chase after him, "Gah!"
"Thank you for setting us free. Our father sealed us away in that vase to protect us from the corruptive energies from the aftermath of Orochi's demise that ended up within father," the fourth piglet explained.
"We have studied long at the feet of our father's teachings," the third noted.
"We feel grandmother Amaterasu's essence coats you along with her scent. She must truly trust you, so we will as well," the second added, "Though it storms outside, the sun truly shines bright on this occasion, and we are at your service!"
"We give to you the treasure of dazzling fireworks," the first informed.
"Now let us color the sky on this joyous day!" all four cheered.
With that, the quartet jumped off the bomb and surrounded it. With their snouts, they tossed the bomb into the air, where Omega-Xis was flying overhead.
"Ha! You can't catch m-what is that?" Omega-Xis asked as he looked down at the rising bomb.
*KABOOM!*
"That was a firework," Megaman awed as Omega-Xis, burnt and smoking, collapsed down beside him, causing Megaman to look at him and not notice the four turn into energy that became a kanji resembling a box trapped between two horizontal lines and two vertical lines cutting through it with a third one coming out of the lower horizontal bar. If Sonia had been there, she would have been able to tell him it was the kanji '華 (Ka; Brilliance)' before it entered Megaman. The area changed to the roof of the housing complex, startling Megaman out of his looking at Omega-Xis when he felt the deluge hitting him from the skies.
"...I hate pigs…" Omega-Xis muttered as he got up, "...ugh...okay. What did those little oinkers give you?"
"Well, if the Tachigamiko gave me blade-based BattleCards and a boost, then maybe…." Megaman began before Lyra Note crashed down beside him, completely soaked.
"Ow…" Lyra Note groaned.
"You two okay?" Megaman asked, helping her up.
"Blaarg…" Lyra spewed out several liters of water.
"Hey, we found these four little exploding pigs," Omega-Xis noted.
"You found Bakugami's children?!" Issun gawked, "Did they give you anything?!"
"I think so," Megaman replied before a shadow came over them, making the two human/EM Wave hybrids look up at the corrupted Fudegami, her head coming down to bite them.
"Use it!" Issun screamed.
"BattleCard Predation: Mini Grenade!" Megaman called as a gold sphere with red detailing appeared in his hand, glowing with a white energy.
He quickly threw the bomb into Nuregami's mouth. In a second, the bomb detonated with a bright colorful explosion, causing Nuregami to screech and move away from them, her mouth smoking in several different colors.
"Your bombs have the power of the Cherry Bomb technique in them!" Issun awed, "It's like your sword-based weapons having Power Slash infused into their edge!"
"And I guess Cherry Bombs are fireworks?" Megaman asked.
"VERY powerful fireworks!" Issun beamed.
"the corrupted Fudegami hissed, shaking her head before lunging her tail at the two.
"Predation: Mini Grenade and Sword!" Megaman called, quickly throwing out a bomb at Nuregami's head while using his energy sword to block the tail swing, grunting from the force of the blow as he struggled to stand and hold it back, "S...Sonia…!"
'What do I do? What do I do? Maybe…' Lyra Note thought as she pulled out her brush and made a line across Nuregami's eyes before putting it away.
Nuregami screeched as she moved away, her eyes cut into while her mouth smoked once more from the explosion that went off in her mouth from his mini grenade. A stream of water went up from the floodwaters into her eyes, glowing a little upon contact. She opened her eyes to reveal them completely healed only to widen when Megaman and Lyra Note falling down at her, both holding blades covered/made of electricity.
*SLASH! BZZT!*
Nuregami hissed in pain once more as she tried to force Megaman and Lyra Note off her. The water below began to ripple before two more pillars burst forth, forming into dragonic/snake-like heads as they lunged at the two.
"Gah!" Megaman yelped as the two jumped out of the way, "Just how many hits can she take?"
"I don't know!" Lyra Note argued, "Mmm...I hope Sensei would know…"
"̶̨̢͏b̢́͞͞a̢͢k̷̵u̕҉҉b̛͜w̴̡͢e̵̴̴̶̷e̕͢Ȩ̴̨̕͞E̸͞Ę͝E̛͞҉̶É̕E͘҉È̴̛͘͢È̵̵̕È͏̷!̵͡͠"̴̧̢͘͡ Bakugami's voice screamed before he crashed right into Nuregami's face, throwing the snake off balance as she crashed into a building.
"...The hell was that?!" Omega-Xis gawked.
"I think that was Bakugami," Issun noted.
"I know but what sent porker flying?!" Omega-Xis argued.
"Where are you?!" the two Wave changed teens looked over to see Yang standing on a nearby roof, still panting in anger as she looked around.
"What did we miss?" Omega-Xis asked as Blizzard Kyuubi arrived with Makoto.
"Well...Yang gets 'explosive' when you mess with her hair," Makoto explained.
"Witnessed it, kyu," Blizzard Kyuubi added.
"...I'd say something about that, but I feel I'd get smacked because of it," Omega-Xis stated.
"Haha! He can be taught!" Issun laughed, "Guess you're not as much of a baka anymore, eh?"
"Bite me, gnat!"
"Shut it!" Lyra snapped, "In case you forgot, we have two corrupted Fudegami to fight!"
"...Speaking of whom…" Makoto began as Nuregami got back up while Bakugami climbed out of of the rubble, "Snakezilla and Porky's explosive cousin are getting back up."

"...And more demons, kyu," Blizzard Kyuubi added as more Imps began to appear in the area.
"Dibs on Porky!" Yang declared.
"I can help with the big fish," Makoto offered to Lyra Note.
"We're on for the damn monkeys!" Omega-Xis declared, earning the attention of all the Imps as they hooted and hollered at him, "Aw, what's wrong? Stupid enough to deny you're monkeys?"
"...I'll be on standby in case something happens, kyu," Blizzard Kyuubi stated, 'And make sure no one tries a sneak attack, kyu.'
"Okay...ikuzo, minna!" Lyra Note declared.
The Imps roared as a Red Imp pointed at Megaman with his stringed instrument and they charged at the blue bomber.
"Why must you do this?" Megaman groaned.
"Because we get more fights!" Omega-Xis replied, "Plus I need to vent after dealing with those little oinkers."
"Oh for…" Megaman began before blocking a strike from a Green Imp and a Red Imp, "We are going to be talking about this later!"
"O͞w͏ ̧my ̧w̷h͝ol̕e ̛b̡o͟…̴"҉ Bakugami began before feeling an immense heat by him, causing him to turn his head to see two glowing red eyes amidst glowing yellow hair akin to a roaring flame, "..̸.̀M͝erc҉y?" shotgun gauntlets were cocked, "͢NOT͢ ̷TH́É FA͡CE҉!̷"͠

"We ain't done yet…" Yang frowned as she grabbed him, "Time to make bacon…EXTRA crispy."

"That is some serious anger…" Lyra Note whispered as she and Makoto jumped out of the way of a waterjet.
"That's what happens when you touch her hair," Makoto stated, "Like with me when someone says something racist to Beastkin."

"Yeah. Like me and you," Makoto noted, motioning to Lyra Note's ears and tail.
'Sensei brought that name up before…' Lyra Note thought, "Ano...technically…"

"Well, I can make trees grow and do a slash that cuts her eyes so she can't see," Lyra Note noted, "I can also use my guitar strings to bind and attack with and summon speakers to fire electric notes."
"The one time I'm going to say this; Omega-Xis was right in that we should go out to look for 'ghosts' of the other FM-Ians to get BattleCard data," Lyra muttered.
"...Hmm…." Makoto began to ponder as she looked at Nuregami, "...Got it. I'll hit Ms. Copperhead with a Distortion Drive, and you come in with an attack that can KO it."
"Or I could go for distracting and you give her your strongest attack?" Lyra Note suggested.
"Ohh~ Better," Makoto smiled, "I'd ask if you wanted to hang out after this, but I take it me and Yang are temporarily here, huh?"

"...Then let's make up for the time we have. Besides…" Makoto paused as she looked over at Yang, who was still beating up on Bakugami, "If I can time it just right, me and Yang can try and knock both of them out."

"Ss̴sssaaa!͠ ͟S͢hin͏ȩi~̢!͜" Nuregami hissed as she lunged at Lyra Note and Makoto once more, the two jumping out of the ay as the former quickly fired a few shots at her, causing the corrupted Fudegami to cry in pain.
"Bloom!" Lyra Note called, quickly pulling her brush out and made several dots on the buildings around Nuregami, causing large trees to surround the serpent and start to drain her corrupted energy, "Now Machine Gun String!" she strummed Lyra, sending out the strings out to tie around Nuregami's mouth, forcing it shut, before she summoned two speakers that fired human-sized notes of electricity at Nuregami, "Shock Note Fortissimo!"
"...She must be killer at parties," Makoto quietly noted before shaking her head, focusing as she reeled her arm back, a symbol faintly resembling a diamond with tree vines growing on it appearing behind her.
"I! HOPE! YOU'RE! HUNGRY!" Yang roared, firing her left shotgun gauntlet into Bakugami's mouth repeatedly, her right arm forcing the mouth wide open.
"Bakubweeé~̷!͠ S̨t̸o͠p! ̵It́ b͘urns̴.̡.a̷nd͠ ͟n̷ot t̶hȩ spiçy͢ ̶ḱind~͝!̷"͏ Bakugami squealed before Yang closed his mouth and punched him square in the snout, "͡OI͟N̸K!͞"
"GO FLYING!" Yang snapped as she pushed him hard with her punch, sending him rocketing back.
"Makoto?" Lyra asked as Nuregami roared, tearing apart the bindings on her mouth.
"Almost…" Makoto replied.
"Makoto…" Lyra Note gulped as Nuregami made two more water 'dragons.'
"Almost…" Makoto replied as Bakugami reached the apex of his flight.
"MAKOTO!" both screamed as Bakugami fell to before Nuregami's face.
"NOW!" Makoto shouted as she shot forward at the same time as Yang, the blond jumping over the two. Makoto yelled out as she unleashed a series of punches that hit the two Fudegami hard, "My Mighty Fist will send you to the stars! Planet…"
"Yellow…" Yang began, a symbol resembling a burning heart appearing behind her as she shot down.
"CRUSHER/DRAGON!" the two declared as Makoto unleashed a devastating uppercut to the Fudegami's chins while Yang unleashed a just as powerful slamming downward punch on their heads, resulting in a massive shockwave that nearly blew everything and everyone there away.
"WOAH!" Megaman gasped as he nearly fell off what remained of the Waveroad...while the remaining Imps just flew out into the distance.
Nuregami and Bakugami cried out as they collapsed, creating a massive bed of flowers while several Demon Fangs appeared amidst the flowers. Makoto and Yang panted as their bodies flickered for a moment before vanishing, dropping the greyed out BattleCard they came from.
"...Guess there's a recharge time for it," Lyra Note guessed, cautiously picking the BattleChip up, "...oh! Sensei, Geo-kun, daijoubu?!"
"We're okay!" Blizzard Kyuubi replied from a mound of snow, "Ahn~"
"Mmmphmmmph…" Megaman muffled out pushing out, "Bwah!" he paused and lit up in a blush since he realized his face had been in Blizzard Kyuubi's bosom, "S-Sorry!"
"I'm good!" Issun called from Omega-Xis's shoulder with his sword stabbed into the headless AM-Ian's shoulder as it looked around for its head, "But Baka-Ryu lost his head!"
=...um...I-I think it's over there…= Frost commented, one of Frost Kyuubi's tails pointing to Omega-Xis head in a bird's nest floating down the receding flood waters.
"Someone better figure out how to permanently fix my head…" Omega-Xis grumbled before a bird began to poke him, "Ah! Gah! Guh! Stupid bird! Ahh! Ahh! Stop it!"
"...well…" Lyra spoke as Lyra Note walked over to them, "Least we beat the corrupted Fudegami...hopefully it means we purified them."
As if on cue, the area changed into a rather familiar setting both Megaman and Lyra Note knew. Omega-Xis chuckled, glad the bird was gone...before groaning when his body picked him up, nest and all, and put it all on his neck. Blizzard Kyuubi looked around at the mountainous landscape coated in fog.
"Kyu? What is this place?" Blizzard Kyuubi pondered before a light shined down from above.
"Mite! Mite! Two constellations!" Issun cheered, looking at the sky to see two constellations with several blue stars and a few red ones, "Misora-tenshi-hime, remember what the Tachigamiko did?"
"Hai," Lyra Note replied as she quickly used Power Slash to 'cut' the red stars, "And now…"
She tapped the sky where the red stars had been. One constellation glowed bright before dropping a large clear container down from the heavens to roll up before them. IT was decorated in a gold cloud pattern on the lower half of it with a gold braided rope on the spout part with a cork on the top. Resting inside of the jar was a pure white snake with 'wings' on the sides of its head and red markings. It pressed its head against the cork from inside and pushed up...only for the cork to not budge. It tried several times, causing the jar to bounce a few times. It nearly had it once only to fall over onto the top of the cork side when a smaller white jar with a lid bopped into it. The jar hopped a few times before the lid popped off, revealing a tinier version of the serpent. The bigger one gave a look at the smaller one, who looked sheepishly at the bigger one.
From the other constellation, a large white boar rode down from it upon a massive paper ball with a fuse on the end. The ball was a rich orange/brown color decorated in colorful patterns while red markings covered the boar's body with 'wings' on its shoulders. Chasing after the boar were the Bakugamiko, minus their bomb but having their firecrackers in their mouths. Omega-Xis...hid behind Blizzard Kyuubi upon spotting them, not wanting to be blown up by chasing firecrackers once more. The boar skidded to a halt, only for a piglet to ignite the fuse. The boar panicked and quickly put it out with several deep breaths of air.
"Ahh...Amaterasu, Goddess of the Sun, Origin of all that is good, and Mother to us all...we thank you for freeing us from our dark imprisonment," the larger snake bowed its head to Lyra Note.
"Too often, it is easy to forget that which we cannot see. Hidden away and forgotten, we succumbed to the remnants of Orochi's essence within us and were overcome by it," the large boar informed, "But now, our souls are at ease and our children have returned to our sides."
"Great grandmother, it is good to meet you. I am Nuregamiko. Thank you for freeing Okaa-san from the taint that festered within her," the little snake thanked, "Okaa-san had me hide away within water itself until she was freed of her corruption and now that she is back as are you, I feel a great rainfall. A sweet rain that moistens the heart."
"Aw great...another brat," Omega-Xis muttered, earning a look from Nuregami before three vertical lines appeared above his head...before a raincloud rained down on him, "...You all suck."
"This dragon does not learn, does he?" Bakugami asked.
"No, no he does not," Lyra answered.
"Hey!"
"I, Nuregami, goddess of water, am happy to bestow upon you my power once more," the large snake, Nuregami, informed, "Moisten the thirst earth and restore the glory of nature!"
"I, Bakugami, god of explosive force, lend my power to your cause once again! Use the Cherry Bomb to lay waste to foes and obstacles alike!" Bakugami declared.
The firecrackers in the mouths of the piglets ignited once more. Bakugami squealed in fright and began to roll away from them as his four kids chased after him. Everyone but Nuregami winced as they heard the explosion. A ball of light with the Kanji for 'Baku' (爆) inside it bounced into the area before it went into Lyra Note. Nuregami shook her head in exasperation.
"Um...Onii-san?" Megaman looked down at Nuregamiko, "I sense my cousins' powers inside of you. Since Okaa-san is giving power to Obaa-san, I give to you my power. For you, water shall flow freely, and give succor to the parched earth as it drenches and soothes the land!"
The two serpents glowed before collapsing into spheres of light. Within the spheres was a kanji for 'Nure' (濡). They floated around before the larger sphere entered Lyra Note and the smaller into Megaman. The area flashed before they were back in the flooded area.
"Whoo-hoo! Two at once!" Issun cheered, jumping happily on Megaman's head, "Nuregami gave you Waterspout while Bakugami gave you Cherry Bomb and, boy, don't we need the latter for all this!"
"Eh?"
=We've been keeping in constant contact with Issun= Ace explained =We've found that Bakugami blew up some natural pathways to prevent flooding for Nuregami to flood the place=
"Hai!" Issun beamed, "You just need to make Cherry Bombs at those places and blow 'em open to let the water start flowing out!"
"Hai! ...How do I do that?" Lyra Note asked.
"I believe you draw a circle and then a tiny line through one side, kyu," Blizzard Kyuubi replied.
"Oh. Ohh…" Lyra Note began before she groaned a bit, holding her head, "Mmm…"
"...Oh don't tell me. Another change so soon?" Omega-Xis complained, "What's next? She gets wolf teeth?"
"No, my head just hurts right now…" Lyra Note replied, "Nothing too bad..." her ears twitched a bit, "...Does someone hear a child?"
"Huh/Kyu?"
"I swear I hear a child calling out to someone…" Lyra Note answered before seeing a wet kitten on a floating trash can lid, "Oh!" she quickly rushed over and scooped it up, "There there..it's okay."
"(C...cold…)"
"?!" Lyra Note's tail shot up, making her slowly look down at the kitten in her arms, "...Geo-kun, Lyra-chan, Sensei, please tell me you heard that."
"Heard what?"
"This kitten. She was speaking to me."
"...I think she's gone crazy," Omega-Xis hissed to Megaman.
"Hold on, kyu," Blizzard Kyuubi noted, releasing Wave Change to turn into her fox form that Megaman barely caught.
"(Cold...c-cold…)"
"(Ah...I had to go full fox, but I hear the kitten now)," Miyuki noted, Megaman only hearing her barking a little, "(Misora-chan, can you make it sunny?)"
"Um, hai," Lyra Note replied, quickly drawing a circle in the sky, casting Sunrise.
"...Sonia, I think you gained the ability to talk to animals," Lyra realized.
"Eh?" Lyra Note looked down at Lyra.
"All I've been hearing is Miyuki barking," Megaman noted.
"She does it all the time," Omega-Xis huffed, earning a growl from Miyuki, "Gah! Mad fox!" he yelped before he flew into Megaman's arm.
Miyuki just huffed, hopping out of Megaman's arms before walking over to Lyra Note, moving onto her hind legs as she carefully took the kitten out of her arms, "(There there...I got you, little one, kyu.)"
"(...wh….where's mama…?)"
"Don't worry. We'll look for her," Lyra Note assured.
=Sending you the coordinates of where you need to go blow things up= Ace informed.
"Thank you."
"(Once we find the mother, I can help take them to an animal shelter)," Miyuki offered, "(I have a friend there that would love to take them in.)"
"That's good to hear," Lyra Note noted.
=Breaking news. It seems the sudden flood is now starting to recede and the sun is back once more= a newscaster said as a smaller screen showed Echo Ridge =We do not know who or what is responsible for this, but it is non-short of a miracle...what? Gods? ...Yeah right. There's a scientific reason behind this...there has to be. It's not like someone magically made the water recede=
"...Geo and Sonia are probably behind this," Hope whispered as she watched the news.
"Yep," Kelvin agreed, "Thanks again for letting us stay here while the flood's going away, Aaron."
"Of course. It's the least I could do," Aaron nodded, "Though, I do have to admit that even with what's going on with Sonia, I'm having issue believing it's ancient gods from when Electopia was known as Japan."
=And yet look what's been happening as of late= Ace commented from a nearby screen =We're literally dealing with demons, corrupted gods, and last I recall...an FMM-ian hellbent on taking out humanity and wanting Omega-Xis back=
"I'm still shocked he dated someone," Hope admitted.
=Me too. Didn't think he'd be the dating type= Ace quipped.
=Oh haha! Very funny!= Omega-Xis' voice complained.

=Everything got cleared!= Issun beamed =And Baka-Ryu only lost his head in the explosions twice!=

"Sorry we're late," Geo panted as he, Sonia, and Miyuki walked in, "We had to stop by the animal shelter real quick."
"The animal shelter?" Kelvin raised a brow.
"We were escorting a mother cat and her kitten there," Sonia explained.
=And Sonia can understand animals= Omega-Xis added.
=Like you now, Baka-Ryu!=
=SHUT IT, GNAT!=
"And mute," Geo deadpanned, muting his VG Hunter and Star Carrier.
=...What was that about her understanding animals now?= Goodall asked as she was instantly before the screen.
"Misora-chan gained two more Fudegami powers, kyu," Miyuki explained.
"Waterspout and Cherry Bomb respectively," Geo added.
=I see...very interesting….once you all rest up, please come here. I wish to see those in action please= Goodall informed.
"...You're asking for us later instead of now because you want to get some animals, don't you?" Lyra asked.
=Am I that predictable?= Goodall quipped =But yes...For now, just rest=
"I can have someone lead you to a resting area," Aaron offered.
"...Honestly that would be great," Sonia sighed.
"Perfect. He just started last week, too," Aaron smiled, "Hey White! Can you come here a sec?!"
"Sure thing, Bo-WHOA!" everyone cringed as they heard a series of crashes before a figure tumbled in, covered in a tarp and several cables before crashing into a vase, getting stuck in it, "...I'm okay!"
"...Okay, who left something on the ground this time?" Aaron demanded.
"No one, Boss. I...tripped on a ladybug…" the figure in the vase groaned, "Um...can I get some help please?"
"...Let me, kyu," Miyuki offered, walking over as she grabbed his legs and pulled him out, "There you go, kyu."
"Phew...Thank you," the figure thanked, still covered in the tarp and cables.
"Oh, let me help, kyu," Miyuki offered before helping the figure get the items off, "There we gooooo...um…"
Her cheeks turned pink as she trailed off. The figure was a young man around her age with pure white hair and a single green eye. The right eye was covered by a white eyepatch with a black 'X' on it while he wore an orange long-sleeved jacket that hid his hands, blue jeans, and blue shoes with a red line on them. His hair went down to the middle of his back and was slightly messy in the front.
"...Um….."
"...Sensei?" Sonia spoke, snapping Miyuk out of it.
"Eto. Did...did you say something Misora?" Miyuki asked.
"Meet my new assistant, White Rose," Aaron introduced, patting White's shoulder, "He may be a bit clumsy, but he's a great assistant."
"...Is...is he single?" Miyuki blurted out before smacking herself, "I mean pleasure to meet you, kyu!" 'Mmm~ Baka! Why'd I say that outloud?!'
"Likewise," White nodded with a smile, "Oh, and your manager is calling."
"Nani?" Miyuki blinked twice before her VG Hunter buzzed.
=Eep! Wh-What is this?!= Frost yelped, jumping out and hiding behind Hope, peeking out behind her, "It shook a lot..."
"Browse, personal space," Miyuki commanded as a small screen appeared before her mouth and on her right ear, "Yes? ...Oh! Hello!" 'It is my manager!'
"Now that's a first," Aaron admitted.
"Yes...yes...uh huh. Wait...you want me to...but she...but you can't…" Miyuki argued before sighing, "Fine...but only for a few photos. I'm on break from wrestling right now."
"Why do I feel worried?" Sonia whispered.
"Uh huh...fine...eh? Bring what?...oh...fine. See you then," Miyuki nodded as she hung up, "Uh...Misora, please tell me you have some costumes."
"...Why?"
"My...manager wants me to do a special cosplay photoshoot...with you."
"...EH?!" Sonia exclaimed as Issun fell off Geo's head, his radiation pink with two tiny red trails from his nose.
"And they have to be special. My manager told me the normal outfits for cosplay are too simple, like nurse or cheerleader kyu," Miyuki explained further.
"Those are the normal ones?" Hope whispered to herself.
"So I need your help...they have to be outfits no one has ever seen before."
"...Oh. I got a suggestion," White spoke, earning their attention, "Boss, weren't you working on those pieces of data based on video games from the past?"
"Yes, you know that. I had you test Goat Simulator," Aaron replied before stage whispering to Kelvin and Hope, "He was only in for five minutes and he destroyed the whole place in the game."
"Oh…"
"Ahem. Anyway...during my free time, I looked over some of the outfits the characters in games we've already examined and figured they'd be perfect for things like costume parties and the like," White explained, "It would come out as new, and would have people anticipate for when the games become available once more for modern gaming consoles."
"...Did you make a few outfits already?" Miyuki immediately asked.
"A few based on some of the fighting and RPG games examined, and a pair of action adventure games. 'Course I made the female ones first because..well, ladies first and all that," White replied.
'And he's a gentleman, too…' Miyuki thought, her foxtail inadvertently popped out and began to wag.
"Eh!? Where'd that come fr-WHOA!" White yelped, jumping back only to slip on the wet floor and slid backwards to the stairs, falling down them, "YAAAAAHOOHOOHOOEY~!"
"...My assistant, ladies and gentlemen," Aaron facepalmed with a sigh.
"...Aaron-san, would it be a bother if I borrow him for my and Sonia's photoshoot, kyu?" Miyuki asked, unaware her tail was out.
"...Well it depends. When is it?"
"Tomorrow."
"T-tomorrow?!" Sonia gawked.
"I tried to argue with him for a bit longer, but he insisted tomorrow so he could get more money and give me my pay, kyu," Miyuki explained.
'...Why does that sound familiar?' Sonia and Lyra thought.
"So, Misora-chan, please...come help me with this, kyu?" Miyuki begged, moving up to her and held her hands, "I will do anything in return for this, kyu."
"...Anything?"
"Hai. Anything, kyu."
"...Hmm...you let me write your opening song for your entrance?" Sonia answered.
"Oh, you have no idea how long I've waited to hear those words," Miyuki sighed, "I keep telling my manager that I should change things up, but he keeps on insisting that it saves on money, and that-and I quote-'you can't fix what's already not broke.'"
"...Chrys Gold?" Sonia asked.
"That's my manager's name, yes."
"..."
"We have a restraining order," Lyra noted.
"Wait, what?" Miyuki blinked at that.
"It's...a long story," Geo sighed.
"...You say that like he managed Sonia before," Miyuki stated, "He told me he never managed anyone before."
"..."
"Listen, I know he can be pushy at times...but he's a nice guy," Miyuki said, "So please, Sonia..do this for me?"
"...You let me write your song, and I'll go," Sonia answered.
"DEAL!" Miyuki beamed as she hugged her, "Oh thankyu so much for this, kyu!"
"Thankyu?" White repeated as he climbed up the stairs, covered in various junk, "...That's honestly the cutest thing I've ever heard."
"?!" Miyuki blushed brightly at that...still unaware that her tail was out as it shot up and suddenly split into nine,"C….kyute?!"
"Bwah! Nine?!" White gawked.
"Funny thing is, 'nine' in Japanese is 'kyu,'" Issun noted to White.
"...Japa-oh! The dead language that's being revived thanks to Mr. Stellar and Boss?" White asked, "I thought that sounded familiar."
"...How do you know about it?" Geo asked.
"Been looking it up in my other free time."
"...I can help teach it to you, Kyu," Miyuki offered...still unaware that her tails were out.
"..I'd like that. But can I ask a question...why do you have tails?!"
"Eh? What…?" Miyuki began as she looked over her shoulders, seeing her tails out, "..."
=...Y-you had them out for awhile…= Frost explained.
"..."
=...M...Miyuki?=
"..." Sonia blinked and realized she now had Miyuki in her fox form hiding behind her, whimpering as she used her tail and front paws to hide her heavily blushing face.
'...Oh that is just precious…' Hope mentally giggled at the sight.
"No, no, no, no~" Vulpecula whined, face shoved into a plushy resembling Omega-Xis.
"The failure was on my end, milady," Karasu apologized, bowing down before her luxurious bed she was moping in, "While we were aware of their identities...we did not check for where their abode was. By the time we were able to find their abode, they had already evacuated."
"And now she has two powers, and the ability to summon Familiars!" Vulpecula wined, "No fair no fair no fair~! She keeps stealing my Omega from me~!"
"..." Karasu took a deep breath as he began to walk out.
"...Wait," Vulpecula spoke, making him pause mid-step as she raised her head, "That fake vixen bonded with my weakling of a sister...she's a human model, isn't she?"
"...I believe so, milady."
"...Meaning that fake goddess that's stealing my precious Omega-Xis from me will be there…Oh hoh~! I just got an idea~!" Vulpecula giggled as she got up, "Karasu, I will be leaving! If I can't threaten her...I will just have to one-up both her and that fake vixen!"
"What are your standing orders, milady?" Karasu asked, bowing once more.
"...Search for Crimson Helm."
"?!"
"Before you argue, I am aware he is being looked after by the mutts and priestess protecting that sacred windmill...so why not try and stop the wind itself once you locate it?"
"I will do so at once, milady," Karasu replied.
"Excellent," Vulpecula grinned before looking at the plushy, "Oh...my darling...soon you will love me again...soon~"
SZ: Okay..talk about REALLY clingy.
GT: Yeah...and I was the one who made her in the first place.
SZ: Yeah...and that clinginess as been amplified by demon powers…
Omega-Xis: ...hide me!
GT: Nope.
Omega-Xis: WHY?!
GT: You're a main character.
Omega-Xis….DAMN IT!
