A/N: I must apologise for not writing for ages! I fell in to depression, have lost my last grandparent and changed jobs but have just felt the need to writer again. I hope you can all forgive me for not keeping up with my stories.

Chapter 10: Talking with Jacob

Harry sat in his room looking out over the forest. It had been a week since he had visited the black family to tell them the truth. He had left thinking that they would call as soon as they had finished the folders he had left them, but they hadn't.

When there was no phone call he thought that they hadn't opened the folders until Remus told him he had put a notification spell on the folders telling him that they had been opened, which confused him even more.

"cub, you can't keep thinking like this. They will call when they are ready… well Jacob will. The girls will take it in their stride." Remus said coming into the room carrying Teddy on his hip. Harry turned around and looked at Remus for a minute before sighing.

"I know what you mean Remus, but I thought they would have been in touch by now." Harry said before standing up to take the squirming Teddy out of Remus's arms

"Well, maybe they are unsure of what needs to be said or what they need to know." Remus said wrapping his arms round Harry and Teddy. "Why don't you come down stairs and have some cookies with Luna and I?"

Harry nodded before carrying Teddy down the stairs with Remus following him. Harry found Sirius and Luna sitting at the table with Jacob.

"…Jacob? What can I help you with?"

Jacob looked up with a confused look on his face.

"…How can I be related to both you and the blond one when you are both vampires and I am a shape shifter?"

"Ah, well, my grandfather is Rosalie's uncle. My other grandfather was a natural vampire so when he married Rosalie's uncle they waited about thirty years to conceive my dad. While Rosalie's brother married and had a single child, Sarah, who married your dad. The lady Rosalie's bother married was native American and Sarah took after her mother's looks. I don't know how your father and mother met you will need to ask your dad about that but that is all I know from the family tapestry in the vaults in Gringotts." Harry said as he sat down at the table with Teddy on his lap.

"How did you know I was the alpha of the pack while Sam was a Gamma?"

"Mainly Remus but I could tell through smell as well. Due to me being a Lima I can tell positions of people. I can tell Remus is an alpha while Sirius is a beta. Teddy will be a beta when he is older, and Seth will be your beta. Paul is a delta and Leah is a beta. There are a few that are omega's in your pack but that will be revealed when you take your position as alpha." Harry explained pulling a plate of biscuits towards him.

"who have I been smelling off of you all since I have entered this house?" Jacob asked looking at them all.

"… Each other?" Harry said confused. "Listen we need to change the treaty you have with the Cullen's. Can you arrange a meeting at the boarder for next Friday at five. We will bring the Cullen's bring the leaders and the rest of the pack but you must be in your rightful position before then others the treaty won't be valid."

"Okay, I think I can do that for then. I guess I will see you in a week's time for this meeting." Jacob said standing and grabbing a cookie of Luna's plate causing her to glare at him. "Later guys." He said before going out the back door into the forest just as Draco walked in the front door.

"… who was here?" Draco asked after sniffing the air.
