"No! I did not sleep with him Donna!" said Sarah, whispering a little to loudly.

"Oh you so did! Why bother denying it Sarah?"

"It's none of you business! Why do you care anyway? I don't ask you about your sex life! Not that that stops you from telling me." Sarah stated with a shutter.

Donna gave a sly smile. "You two so did it." Sarah threw her hands up in the air and huffed. They were at the school, the bell had just rung for lunch and they sat together at Sarah's desk consuming sandwiches, and cokes. Donna had been silent till now, when she knew Sarah would have the chance to spill.

"Details Sarah."

"Fine!" Sarah burst. "I slept with him. I mean I slept with him . . . in his bed with him. I didn't sleep sleep with him, just slept with him. . . I mean. No sex. Just sleeping."

"Bull shit." said Donna, not amused. "You are an adult now you know. You can have a sexual life. You probably pay your own bills, pluck your eye brows, drink beer. You don't need to be childish about the subject."

"And you don't need to be so prying of the subject. Yes, ok. We had sex." said Sarah, with her coke to her lips. The sound of it made Sarah shutter. Not entirely in a way of grief. She did not regret what had happened, but her head still spun of old feelings and what she never in her wildest dreams would have thought these new feeling that was stirring up inside, could ever be alive.

"There. Was that so hard to admit?" asked Donna.

"Shut up."

"Come on now Sarah. What is it? What is it about him that has made you so uptight and such?"

"I haven't been uptight."

"Well, you were always a little uptight now that I think about it."

"Only when you smoke."

"The thing is, I can see you two have a history. Something beyond an old baby sitter of your brothers. So, whatever it is, you can tell me. You know that. I want to make sure this guy isn't going to ruin you."

"He won't. We do have a bit of history, but I am trying to put it in the past."

"Did he cheat on you or something?"

"What? No. Nothing like that."

"Then what?"

Sarah looked down at her food. She had barely eaten anything.

"Donna, I. . ." Sarah looked down again, not sure how to say it, and Donna leaned in to hear better, the anticipation rising by the second.

The bell rang and Sarah and Donna jumped startled by the noise. They giggled at each other, and Donna sighed, getting up and cleaning her food off Sarah's desk.

"To be continued." said Donna, leaving Sarah to her thoughts.

"Hey everyone! Were home!" Sarah called out to the girls. Mia and Alex ran over to where Donna and Sarah stood, and tackled them with hugs.

"What's with the warm welcome?" asked Donna with a giggle.

"We are just so happy now!" Alex screamed. "Jareth is finally with his true love!"

"Yeah. And he won't shut up about it. He's like a girl." giggled Mia.

"I am not. And I haven't spoken about the subject that much." Jareth came from in the kitchen, a blue apron around his body and a wooden spoon in one hand. "Sarah!"

Jareth smiled and ran to her, wrapping both his arms around her neck and pulling her in for a kiss. She gasped, taken by surprise, however, glad of it. He had a way of surprising her lately that made her want to scream with excitement. His tongue moved with hers with perfect harmony, and their lips fit perfectly together. Jareth could feel Sarah smile in their kiss, as she clinched his apron, and that only made him hold her even tighter.

"Ok. Kids in the room." stated Donna feeling a little awkward.

Jareth let Sarah go, and her face was bright red and she gave a sheepish smile at the kids. Sarah pointed at Jareth. "He did it."

Jareth laughed and gave Sarah a big hug. "I love it when you turn red like that my dear."

"Um. Jareth? What are you wearing?"

"Oh. Well, I was making some stew for the little ones, and I did not want to get my shirt dirty. Isn't that what an apron is for?"

"Well, yes, but um. I just didn't see you as an apron type."

"There are a lot of things you don't see me as." Jareth stated with a grin.

Sarah frowned at Jareth, then pointed a finger at him.

"What? What are you doing. Stop it." demanded Jareth.

"I don't see what the problem is Jareth. It's not like I'm touching you." stated Sarah.

"What are you doing? It is detracting and unpleasant."

"I'm not touching you."

"Yes you . . . yes your are."

"No I'm not." said Sarah again, this time coming closer to Jareth, just an inch from touching his chest.

"Yes you are! Stop it."

"No. I. Am. Not." Sarah said with calming integrity.

"I don't understand this!" Jareth was at odds. Sure she wasn't actually touching him, but for some reason it felt like she was. He couldn't explain it. "Donna! What is this attack of betrayal she puts upon me?! Is this mind control?!"

"AW! He is so adorable." stated Donna.

"I know." Sarah giggled, not believing how cute he looked himself when his face was red, and his thoughts confused, just as he did to her time and time again. Though this was an entire different reason for his confusion, having to do with childs play rather than sexual frustration and past feelings at war with new ones like Sarah's have been. Women right. Ha, anyway. Kinda dissed on myself there, but any who.

"Your man is rather feminine Sarah." stated Donna getting back to the apron subject. Just a plain blue apron. Sarah looked up at Jareth. Yeah. It didn't help that every where Jareth went, sparkles would appear out of no where. Kind of his thing she supposed. He also wore make up, which to Sarah was only ok for a man if he was in a heavy metal band or something. But she just smiled. Jareth stuck his nose in the air.

"I am not feminine Donna. I am the most manliest and handsome man you could ever meet."

"You sparkle too." said Alex.

"Yeah. And you have long hair. It's weird for a guy to have long hair. I always think they are girls, then it get's weird when you call the boy a girl by accident, cause you just met, and you really think it is a girl." said Mia.

"Your still going on about that?" asked Alex, a little tired of hearing it.

"It was one time, and he still won't forgive me." said Mia, and Alex smiled at her. "Stop smiling."

"I am not feminine, and I don't appreciate you taunts. I am still a king, and I can -"

"Wait, what? A king?" asked Donna, and she laughed. Sarah gave Jareth a warning look not to go any further.

"He is just playing around Donna. Duh!" Sarah said with a grin.

"Is that your thing in the bedroom. Oh gosh. You don't dress up as a maid do you?" asked Donna.

"No! Shut up!" Sarah clinched her fists and walked off into the kitchen.

"Sarah. Arent you suppose to be protecting your lover? Why do you let these dames talk to me in such a way?" asked Jareth a little angry.

"Your soup is boiling over." said Sarah.

"Oh, no. My soup." Jareth ran to the kitchen and stirred his soup.

"What type of soup did you make?" asked Donna, walking into the kitchen with the rest of the adults.

"Chicken noodle. Every ones favorite. Had to go back to my kingd- my house and get a chicken. I've been over run lately. So many eggs." stated Jareth, staring off in space.

That night Sarah and Jareth lay in bed spooning. OOH! HEHE! Anyway. Sarah held on to him, not sure of the reason, but she felt as if it wouldn't last. As if he would have to go some where. What a weird feeling. But then she new what it was. Mia and Alex came rushing into the room, and jumped on her bed to get in between her and Jareth.

"I had a nightmare." explained Alex.

"We both did." said Mia, though it seemed like just an excuse to come in. Jareth laughed and wrapped Alex in a hug, and Mia settled down next to Sarah. Sarah was a little annoyed because her fear came true, but after a moment she didn't mind. The girls had grown on her in just a few days of meeting them. She needed to figure out what to do with them before Donna noticed their long stay. For now, she held Mia close and drifted off to sleep.

Christine lied in her bed, staring at her ceiling, feeling utterly and hopelessly empty. What had she done? How could she have done it? Where does she go from here? She went through the emotions of regret, misery, guilt, fear, though anger had not yet hit her till now, after getting back home to her belongings. But even there, her once favored possessions could not fill the void, and her favorite glass coke tasted bitter in her mouth. Shame flowed through her veins and all she wanted to do was to curl up in a ball and hide away. It had been a difficult day having to explain over and over again the incident that had not happened. Keeping the most heart breaking secret she had ever had to hold in her heart and head. Standing there as she watched her mother and father already slipping away inside themselves with fear and anguish of the loss of their little girl. Her father could do little to comfort his wife, and Christine could do nothing. Christine knew that they did not blame her, but they should have. It was all her fault, and she was to much of a coward to admit it to her parents. What would they do to her? 'They would hate me. I'd lose mommy and daddy forever.' Christine thought to herself.

Tears filled her eyes and she placed the back of her hand on her eyes to cover them. 'I have to do something.' she thought to herself. There was no way she could go back through that labyrinth again. It was too frightening, and she would never make it. 'So what then? Pout here in self pity and slip slowly into madness because I acted like a child and endangered the one person I was supposed to keep safe and protect? But will it work? I suppose it's worth a try.'

"GOBLIN KING!"
