"What are you doing here?" I asked him, surprised.
"Do you have a moment?" He asked me.
I looked, well... glanced back at Shar, she didn't seem to mind. I doubt she even knows who is at the front door right now.
"Umm... sure." I opened the door wider, letting him inside. After he went in, I locked the front door. I pointed at the stairs, motioning him to come up my room so that we can talk privately.
"So, who was at the door?" Shar asked.
"You didn't see?" I asked her.
Troy had already went home after we had talked in my room. Right now, it is around 9 o' clock at night. Me and Shar was in her room chatting after the movie we had just watched.
"Troy." I answered her question.
"What did he want?"
"He umm... he wanted to take me out again, tomorrow, for the whole day."
"And? what did you say?"
"I said I'll think about it, but I have to give him an answer by tonight..."
"Why not say yes? I know you want to Gabs."
"No I don't." I lied to her.
"I know when you lie, so just spit it out!" She half screamed.
"Okay okay... I do but..."
"He's a player." Shar finished my sentence.
I nodded.
"Just get over it Gabs, give him a chance, just one." Shar said irritated.
"Okay, okay, I'll give him a chance."
Today, Troy was taking me out, again. I didn't know where, he just said to wear something convertible. I put on a pair of jeans and a plain white shirt. He said he was going to be here around 4 and it was already 3:45. The doorbell rang, I went towards the door, figured that it would be Troy. I was right.
He was standing there, wearing a checkered blue shirt and a pair of dark blue jeans. He looked absolutely breathtaking. And I noticed something, he had cut his hair.
"Hi." He said to me.
''Hi." I stepped out and closed the door behind me.
"You look beautiful."
"Thanks."
He lead me into his car, opened the passenger door and let me in. He went to the driver seat and started up the car. I drove off from my house.
"Where are we going?" I asked him.
"Not telling." He said, grinning.
"Why not?!" I whined."
"Lets just say its a surprise, yeah?" He glanced at me, still grinning.
I smiled at the way he was acting. At him. It was different from what he acted in school. A lot different. He was sweet and caring. A gentleman.
"Oh and wear this too?" He handed me a blindfold.
"You've got to be kidding me?!" I looked at him skeptically.
"Do I look like I'm kidding ?" He tried pulling a serious face.
"Yes." I teased him.
He smiled at my action. I took the blindfold from his hand and put it on myself, not being able to see where we are going anymore. Only the sounds that can be heard.
"Are we there yet?" I asked, my vision still pitch black from the blindfold.
"Just a bit more." Troy said as he was leading me to the place.
Soon enough, he opened my blindfold. I looked around the place. It was a flower field, it was breathtaking. Everywhere you see, all flowers. There is a gazebo just a few steps away from us. There, laid a simple picnic, with a dim lighting, just enough. It was absolutely beautiful.
"Wow." I said, still admiring the view.
"Yeah, I know." Troy agreed with me.
"Why did you do all this?" I turned to him.
"We aim to please ." He answered me, he smiled at me.
"Well thank you ." I copied him.
"C'mon, lets eat."
"How can you find this place?" I asked him.
We were seated in the gazebo, facing each other. We were both just asking random questions to each other at the moment. So far, I've known that he likes the color blue and has been living in Albuquerque all his life.
"I was going home from school, like a few years ago and I stumble upon this place, its kind of my secret hideout when I want to be alone for a while." He answered my question.
"Then why'd you brought me here?"
"I thought it was my turn to ask.." He smirked.
I blushed deep red and looked away for a moment before replying, "Oh right, go on."
He got up from where he was sitting and got out of the gazebo. As he did, I was confused at what he was doing. He offered me his hand and asked, "Lets go."
"Umm Troy?" I asked him, worriedly.
We were at the halls of east high at night. It was around eight. It was quite dark, there was not much there is to see. Troy had a key to the front doors of the school. Where did he get it from I dont know. He lead me towards the auditorium. It was pitch black, nothing that I could see. He turned the lights that was on the stage on. He lead me towards the piano and I sat down on the bench.
"Hold on." He ran backstage, leaving me alone.
I started to mess around with the piano a bit. I've learned how to play it when I was little, sure it wasn't as great as Kelsi but I knew some songs. I started remembering the keys towards a song that I haven't played for a long time. It was one of my all time favorites. As I began to play, I started to sing along with the keys that I'm playing.

I didn't notice Troy returning and standing at the edge of the piano. So I just continued playing.

"One step closer" He joined in with me, which made me realize that he was there. I smiled at him and he urged me to continue on the song.

I stopped singing, and told him to continue.

Our voices reconnected once again. He went over and sat at the edge of the bench, just next to me.

As it came to an end, we were both staring at each others eyes. Our lips just inches away from each other.
