MONTH 4: DAY 91 (13 WEEKS, 0 DAYS): March 7

"Hey, I won't be home until 10," Percy started once Annabeth picked up. She sighed on the other end while clicked through names on the computer screen. Delta? Did she want to name her daughter after an airline and water source? Penelope? It just seemed like asking for bad luck with the name of Odysseus' wife. But she was a smart woman…

"Why? Tomorrow I go in early Percy, I have a meeting." She respected that Percy's job paid well to study and assist with animals, that didn't mean she liked it. She pictured him coming home and having a quaint little dinner with all three of them so she could happily complain about her unfair boss and how she needed to tell her 'friends' that she was expecting. In all honesty she did have friends in her firm but she rarely saw them because they were on-site just as much as she was.

"Several of the animals are getting sick and it's throwing off our studies. We need to clean every tank in this place and the animals, if we need to of course." He chuckled while hearing a fish to his right complain about something trivial.

"Fine. But I'll probably be asleep by that time," she bookmarked the name Dawn for a girl and continued her search; Dawn was a sister of hers who was important to her rebuilding Olympus earlier in the year when a fountain had to be put in for a minor goddess. She could consider the name…

"If that's the case then I love you and goodnight." He unconsciously yawned and slipped his notes into Greek, making it impossible for his boss to read and later question.

"I love you, bye." She closed the laptop and yawned seeing 7 on the clock.

"Bye Perce."

She wandered around, trying to clean but eventually sitting because of her tight lungs. She was barely 13 weeks to the day, how was she not able to breathe? For dinner she gave into the whim of peanut butter and banana bread and tea, being her caffeine for the day. Plus, she figured, the chamomile could calm her into sleep while watching HDTV.

Keys jiggled at the door and creaked around 11 at night. Not that Annabeth was bothered, she was fast asleep and drooling, with a hand over her stomach. Even though Percy's backpack dropped with a loud thud she was still unaffected when he settled in and turned the TV off and walked into their room to set the bed. Her laptop had sticky notes covered in names, to do lists, and baby needs- one read: crib, sheets, diaper pad, changing table? Nursing pillow? Breast pump *ask Sally, and dresser. Was it for the baby room needs? They still needed to clean the only other room in their home for the baby, which they would need to start soon; half the crap could go to Goodwill, Percy decided. He set her stuff on her desk in the corner where highlighted baby books sat and pulled back the sheets for the both of them.

Carrying Annabeth while being cautious of her stomach was more terrifying than he could have imagined. DON'T DROP HER, he chanted in his head repeatedly. Making it to the bed caused a happy dance and as the light went off she woke up with a gag.

"Percy?"

"Are you okay?" She sat up holding her throat before calming down. Rubbing her back helped until she settled again next to him.

"Love you," he kissed her forehead whilst wrapping his arms around her and settling his wandering fingers over her small bump.

She mumbled a jumbled 'love you' and laid her head on his shoulder and proceeding to drool lazily. Percy grinned and grabbed his phone. He would get beat for setting her drooling face as his new caller id for her but that was a risk he was willing to take.

Click!

"What was that?" She said wide eyed.

MONTH 4: DAY 94 (13 WEEKS, 3 DAYS): March 10

Another call from Percy told her that she would be alone again until he came home to crawl in bed and hug her a little too tight. The only upside to this would be the overtime bonus on his check, which she couldn't complain about. They needed to at least have furniture and maybe paint the room if they wanted. They hadn't discussed it at all really, which was equally worrisome and stressful. She should just call Sally about all this.

MONTH 4: DAY 98 (14 WEEKS, 0 DAYS): March 14

"We need to clean the guest room out, talk baby names and I honestly need to budget all this. Once I know the average price for the furniture I think we'll be fine. I don't think a baby shower will be necessary do you? Maybe a small one but no one else has a kid so-"

"Annabeth I got it. Baby shit," he laughed. Her expression told him differently as her furrowed eyebrows lifted and her expression changed to hurt. Fuck me, he thought immediately.

"Baby shit? Percy these are things we need to get done! I'm in my second trimester already we only have what? Five months? To get ready for a baby that we are already behind on preparing for!" She took deep breathes and held fast onto the kitchen counter.

She just got home from the firm where she suspected, maybe, others were catching on to her cravings and many bathroom visits and just wanted to focus on cleaning the spare room for the baby. It was fairly clean but the closet was full of boxes from 2 years ago when they first moved and old camp relics… not to mention that the old twin mattress from college laying on the ground. Tears welled up unwillingly- her mood swings were really starting to kill her- and she grasped tighter to force them down. She shouldn't be hurt by her husband's off-hand comment.

"Shit, Annabeth, I'm so sorry you know I didn't mean it like that-"

"I'm fine. It's just the hormones you know. I just want to clean that room out by the end of this month." She sighed as no tears fell and grabbed Percy's hand to hold.

"We can start now if you want. We need to talk names too," he looked down at her cautiously. Poor Percy had to take in stride her new moods and cravings, just yesterday he had to make her Nutella and bananas right after they ate chicken dinner. Needless to say, the combination made Annabeth sick for the first time in a while.

"Okay I want to start right now. Let me change first," she squeezed his hand and walked to their room.

When she was done and in Percy's shirt and loose shorts it was then she realized why she might have been in a bad mood. Percy had worked late the past few days and she had meeting too early to see him awake in the mornings, all thanks to her almost completed project. She hadn't been intimate with Percy in days… a week? She was almost mortified to admit she was frustrated because of that. It was such a teenager thing, not something a grown ass, pregnant married woman should deal with. But she did have to deal with it; it was making her irritable and Percy didn't even seem affected by it. Was their sex life bad? She didn't think so by any means… what if it was just because she's pregnant? Was Percy freaked out by touching her when she had the baby? But he said he liked that she was pregnant? She had to admit how good that made her feel but what if it was only said to cheer her up when he was actually freaked…? She shook her head and prepared to test a hypothesis.

She walked in to see Percy bent over and picking up the mattress to set it against the walls. She didn't take time to make her presence known to just watch him. Looking at her husband miffed her; how could she have not touched him in a week? They weren't a couple to go more than a day without intimacy, it was practically set in stone that they did something.

She was discovered when he turned around looking confused, judging her emotions. She didn't look like she wanted to kill him, which was perfect in his book, but she wasn't exactly giving orders to where she wanted things to go.

"Do you want to start with the closet? Or the bookcase?" He glanced over to see a bookcase that screamed Annabeth so much that he was afraid to go near it. Gods damned if he messed up the ancient scribbles and books and it, along with weapons.

"I want the closet done first its all boxes we can just sit down and go through, I cant walk too much," she admitted.

"Figured," He smiled. He opened the door to be hit with a pole of some sort- a lamp he later identified. Annabeth let out a loud laugh as he looked to see what had hit him. He was so utterly confused that his face was precious, Annabeth thought.

"At least I'm the one who opened the damned door," Percy took out the lamp and grabbed a box and set it where the bed was minutes ago. She sat as he grabbed another for him, judging the weight of it. 2 down, 11 more to go….

With the closet cleared and only 4 boxes of mementos they wanted to keep, Annabeth decided it was a good night. It was time for dinner, and yeah maybe she wasn't fond that she had to walk around and get out of breath, but she appreciated Percy helping. The unwanted boxes were put to the side and filled with donation items or trash to be set out later. Percy stood, stretching, and held a hand out for her to assist with standing.

"I'm exhausted," he rubbed his shadowed face. He hadn't shaved in what looked like days, she noticed. Realizing it, this was the first night Percy hadn't worked late and gone in early, no wonder he didn't seem to be bothered, he must be too tired to register the fact that his wife was clearly hot and bothered and annoyed and pregnant.

"I imagine," she rubbed his side and her arm went around him. "My poor man," she laughed and walked ahead to start on something to eat. She didn't know that simple movement got to Percy and made him rethink going to bed right after dinner.

By the time the water was boiling for macaroni she was searching for a chair to catch her breath in.

"I'll get it," he murmured and poured pasta in the water. "The baby gets you that out of breath? So soon?"

"Yeah," she panted. "It's normal. Even though the munchkin is a freaking fig or whatever my organs are being rearranged quite impressively. I have to deal with this until the baby is out." She laid a hand on her stomach in hopes to convey to her child that hey she really does appreciate that it's growing nicely but pipe down a bit.

He leaned over to kiss her forehead. It was quick and reassuring, but considering she couldn't remember the last time they actually kissed on the lips she was bothered and couldn't say she was completely controlling herself when she grabbed his jaw and arm and pulled him towards her. Percy was relieved to kiss her after going over how to word that yeah it would be really nice if neither of us slept tonight if you know what I mean a million times in his head. Annabeth's fingers trailed under his shirt as he reached for her wonderfully fuller hips hidden underneath his shirt. Her curves were different, he felt, and he wasn't sure how he thought about it. He wasn't complaining by any means when her hands simply tugged his shirt off and her lips went for his neck.

"Percy-" it was almost a whine, which she wasn't happy to admit.

"Gods shut up," he smashed his lips against hers. Pulling her against him was one of the best feelings in the world and just made him wonder; how had she not gotten knocked up sooner?

The stove made that annoying sizzling noise when the water boils over and they were hastily pulled away when Percy rushed to turn it off and set it aside.

"How hungry are you?" He turned to her.

"I can wait until breakfast," she grinned. Before she could even attempt to stand he was already there removing her shirt and picking her up, lifting her to the clear counter.

"Perseus-"

"Annabeth." She had to be doing that on purpose because gods did that get to him. His hands slowed to outline her new, slightly bigger, hour glass frame and kissed down her neck gently.

"None of that sweet crap," she panted. He smiled at her, she was never like this. He couldn't even remember the last time they had touched each other, which he needed to fix immediately. His poor Annabeth seemed bothered by it, but he was hardly better. He wouldn't last more than 5 minutes just looking at her at this rate.

His hands grabbed hers and pinned them down while his mouth worked on her chest teasingly. She was so needy he could control her completely right now, which he intended to take advantage of.

"I'm sorry Wise Girl," he started when he moved his hands to work on her shorts. Her hands automatically moved behind her to help his efforts. Gazing at her was amazing- cheeks red, eyes closed, practically naked was exactly what he wanted.

She laughed as he lifted her up again and nipped at her shoulder to cart her off to their room.

"Oh my gods stop this! Just get it over with alread-" he laid her down and his hand gently went to her throat, opening her eyes wide and silencing her. All she could see was his eyes, soft and loving, and a fucking tease, she observed. His hand at her throat already let her know what she was in for tonight, she worried about being able to leave the bed tomorrow when his other hand traveled down her body again. He kissed her stomach where the small bump was and dipped her hands below the last fabric left on her.

"Gods I love you," he started.

MONTH 4: DAY 99 (14 WEEKS, 1 DAYS): March 15

Percy woke up first to see a new view: his alarm clock and nightstand were no where to be seen until he looked by his toes. 8:42 glared at him as he rubbed his scruffy cheeks. He also saw Annabeth's hair sprawled over his chest while her head was rested on his stomach. Holy fuck they barely slept. A blush rose to his cheeks with a cheeky grin as he threw his head back. He felt like a teenager with her again, when they barely started college and were ecstatic to have a crappy barely furnished apartment that they paid way to much for simply because it was New York. When every day they came home to tons of homework and each other and would eventually jump each other simply because they could.

Minutes later Annabeth stirred and turned to have her eyes met with Percy's skin. She blushed and set her head down against his stomach with a laugh. Percy simply watch her without moving to observe her reaction.

"Ugh, fuck me," she complained with a deep blush.

"I think that's why we are in this position," he laughed. She jumped and looked to him. After meeting his eyes and grin her hands covered her face in embarrassment.

"Shut up!" She was mortified. She couldn't reflect on what they did without a cringe. She felt like pregnant women shouldn't do anything near what they did.

"Maybe if we don't talk about it we can pretend like we didn't completely sin," he laughed. It made her feel better to know he felt the same and saw the matching blush on his face.

"Come here," he reached for her and moved her hair from her gray eyes and wrapped his arms around her. Her blush intensified and she hid in his neck when his hands brushed her chest. A laugh shook him before she spoke up again.

"I wonder if what we did affected the baby at all."

"I sure hope not, besides escapades like last night are what created that little Rugrat in the first place."

"I need a shower." She didn't make any move to get up.

"Ugh I think we need to clean this room," he looked around.

There were clothes on the ground, a lamp knocked over, papers on the ground from when he swiped his hand across it to lay Annabeth there, and dressers moved because of their activity.

"Dear gods," Annabeth cursed. "I'm starving."

"Shower and breakfast?" He traced his hand down her side and twirled his finger in her hair while her arm rested over his chest giving little scratches.

"Yes, I need out of this room," she laughed and took the sheets with her to stand. As she started heading for the bathroom with Percy he stepped on the sheets and grabbed her to make sure she wasn't harmed. Sure enough his plan worked; only stumbling half a step the sheets fell from her grasp and his arms wrapped around her once more.

"Sorry not sorry," he kissed her.
