Author note: Yes, this is a big no-no here on this site to have a chapter that's just an author's note, but I am utterly terrified of deleting a chapter and losing reviews. I considered, for a very long time, deleting the first chapter since it has no reviews at all, but that would still cut a chapter out of this story and potentially remove reviews.
