It was 3:00 in the morning when Ciel found himself awake. On Sebastian's bed, he slowly lift his body into a sitting position. He rubbed his eyes and saw Sebastian sleeping on the couch.

He wished he was never here. He wished he could have gone off when he still had the chance. Ohh, how he wished he could have just run away taking his sketches from that day inside the resto and declined Sebastian's offer, how he wished that Sebastian now is grieving for revenge and... now, he's regretting whatever he's thinking.

He didn't want Sebastian to suffer, even though he stole his sketches after all the gratitude he did to him.

He's too soft for this guy. He doesn't know why but never wants to know anyway.

He wanted to help him. But why would he go this far? Is he after the company? He knows he cant handle a company that easily but his uncle can help him but, what does he know about ruling people?

Yes. He doesn't even had the gut to make his uncle obey his commands. It's a scary thought. He doesn't want to get laid on the floor and get hit by a sturdy cane of his - not in his watch.

Ciel looks down and he felt the covers warm him. He wished he didn't snuck to this business. He already wished it was over.

How he wished.

With a loud slam of the door, Claude locked his car and brought his briefcase with him. He called Sebastian earlier for an excuse but was declined, and now he's frustrated. Whatever that started his frustration is because of that threat letter.

So who was it? Who's trying to provoke him? He wanna know who.

Last night, he talked to Hannah about the plans to capture the threat. He immediately told her to keep calm and pretend she didn't know anything. Whoever that was will pay.

In his way to Sebastian's office, he tucked his phone deeper to his pocket and bit his lip in annoyance. He wanted to scream how frustrated he is yet he can't due to the people around him might think he's getting crazy. He still has this problem, on how to make Sebastian pay for what he hired just a week ago. Ciel Phantomhive. He should run a background check on that little pipsqueak. Whenever he remembers the little guy's sketches, it runs shivers on his spine. Those sketches does looks like Sebastian's fiancee. Such resemblance.

He rushed towards Sebastian's door, twisting the doorknob, another room was shown infront of him. He saw Sebastian talking to his phone while he writes down a few notes from the teller. Sebastian is a multi-tasker, that's the only thing he idolizes from him. Whenever you needed him the most he'll certainly come. That's what his fiancee loves him the most.

He chuckled how ironic he sounded. Love really does makes you crazy things. Just like what happened to him and to Sebastian.

Sebastian notices him daydreaming and asked the teller to leave him for a sec. As soon as the teller leaves the door with the click, Claude snapped and looks at Sebastian.

"What are you daydreaming about?" Sebastian inclined his head as he shove the papers back to his drawers. "You look like a colossal idiot from a moment there."

"Ah-yes. Yes... anyways-" he cleared his throat as he handed a few folders and put it on Sebastian's desk. "These are the examples of the dining halls for the upcoming charity. Both designs were to be picked by you. Grandfather wants to know if the both of you still has the same tastes." He puts his hands both in his pockets as Sebastian opens the envelopes.

He examines the grand halls and the other halls preparations. It's a grand charity. The designs were very classic and one of a kind. It'll let him choose either this chandelier or the other ones. He sighs as he looks away. He wanted to show this to Ciel. How he wants to see him smile and lets him choose whatever he wants. Because he knows, he'll choose the same as his fiancee.

"I'll let you know." He threw the folders on the side.

Claude agreed and snickered inside. "Anyways, I was wondering if I could...meet this Ciel Phantomhive. Surely, the second son is delighted to meet him." Claude did not shiver how he showed his self-esteem to Sebastian.

"You'll meet him soon."

"So he's a guy! Hahah... When will I meet him?"

"Stop asking questions, you're annoying me."

With that he stopped talking. Claude wonders what this Ciel Phantomhive has under his sleeves.

A knock made the two look at the door and Meyrin enters. She handed a few more folders on Sebastian's desk and is holding a cup of brewed coffee. "Mr. Sebastian, I did the few things you asked me yesterday."

"I see. Anyways, I would like you to call Ciel. I need to talk to him in some other issues regarding for the charity."

"That...-" Meyrin handed a few pieces of brown envelope. "He called earlier and handed me these personally." Sebastian looks at Meyrin in confusion.

"Why then he didn't come here and handed me these?"

"He'd... like to resign. The resignation letter is also inside the envelope." Meyrin said as she bows her head.

Claude heard everything they were saying. Both him and Sebastian is now looking at Meyrin. Sebastian cant believed what his secretary said. Why would Ciel do that? He gave him the biggest offer he could give and he turned his back away from it. A lot of people would love to make a deal with him and now he's rejecting and leaving him for no reason? He felt betrayed and agonized on what just happened. He doesn't want to get betrayed anymore. Not when everything is getting started.

"Meyrin, get my car." He stood leaving Claude dazed on his new plan.

Everything seems back to normal to Ciel. He finally resigned and think thoroughly that night. He doesn't debt to begin with; doesn't have a responsibility to do the job Sebastian is telling him to do. He even handed his original works to Sebastian without getting any money from him. He should be grateful. Nothing's free in this world anymore, and he's an exemption cause he likes him.

"So you got dumped... how unusual." Alois said as he waved his hands in the air. "But I'm quite surprised that you're gay; not that I didn't know from the start." Alois dramatically swung his chin on the mop's stick. He continued to pristine the stained ice cream on the floor. That damn kid made his job more horrible each day. Not that Alois doesn't mind since this is the only routine in his job that makes sideways.

"Shut up, and I'm sure I'm just getting started to becoming... that." Being in denial is what Ciel good at.

"Want me to help you solve your problems?"

"No thanks to you. I don't want to meddle on funny business you always do." That hit a nerve when he saw Alois flinched.

"...Hah! At least I can get boychicks whenever I want to."

"Please spare me." Ciel sighs. He heard the bell rang and he welcomed the costumer.

"Speaking of boychicks, that costumer have gone regularly coming here. Quite handsome, don't you think?"

"Who's he?"

"Who knows? He always order the same espresso." The man put his belongings on the table and walks towards the cashier. "Here comes the boychick." The man pulled his wallet on his denim sky blue skinny jeans and looks at the cashier.

"Can I have one Italian espresso, please." He pulled his 2 dollars out of his pocket. Ciel eyes him from head to his thigh since cant seem to see his feet since he's on the other side of the table.

"...Yes. Please wait a moment." Well, he thought to himself how hopelessly romantic he is. In just a few minutes, the espresso is ready. "Your order is ready." He lays the white cup with a crown designed on the bubbles of the espresso he made.

"Thanks." He dropped the bill and proceeded to his table carrying his cup.

"Isn't he a sight for your sore eyes, Ciel." Alois went back to the cashier as he gazed the man. "Too bad he didn't greet me today." He mimicked a sulky face as he dramatically turned his face to Ciel.

"Yeah, I guess he is a looker. But not my type." Ciel continues to sweep the washing area with his cloth.

"Not your ideal man, yes? But you wanna know his name, right?" He wiggled his brows and it annoyed Ciel by just seeing it.

Does he? He questioned himself as he hung the dirty cloth on the rank. He looks at Alois and went to play along. "Yeah, I do. But he seems to be straight so I
don't wanna bother."

"You won't know unless you try~" He teased with a little wiggle of his finger. "I dare you, Ciel! I'll give you 10 bucks if you can ask his name and introduce yourself or you can just stand there and be single forever, and if you can't, you'll pay me double." Alois sets his 10 bucks on the table which he pulled off from his apron pocket.

"...Deal." He doesn't go back to whatever who dares with him. It's just introducing himself and asking the costumer's name. Now, he's getting nervous. He washed his hands, grabbed the creamer, and walked straight to the costumer's table. He can feel Alois' eyes stabbing him on the back so he rushed a bit and walks towards the guy's table.

He tapped the guy's table. The guy looked up and looks at Ciel. "Yes?" He asked Ciel.

"Hi, I'm Ciel. I would like to ask if...-" He can't speak now. He's being reluctant to ask for his name. "I-if... I can have... your name please..." stuttering is so embarrassing to Ciel.

In a sudden the costumer laughs and looks at Ciel. "The name's Marco." Marco held his hands up to shake hands with Ciel. Without a further ado, he clasp hands with him and shook it firmly. Oh shit, he's fucking straight.

Loosing interest. Ciel placed the creamer on the side of his coffee and he walks away. As he turns around, he saw Alois with his sour face. He grabbed the ten dollar bill on the desk and shoved it in his pocket. "Boychick denied. He's straight."

"Ohh~ how disappointing." it's not that Alois is disappointed that Marco's straight, he's disappointed that his 10 dollars has gone to waste. "But boychick is looking at you."

He looked at Marco and they caught themselves staring at each other. Ciel averted his gaze and carry on. Alois laughed as he saw Ciel getting flustered right before him. They continued to sweep when the door rings again.

"Welcome!" Alois said as he dropped the mop by accident. Ciel looks up and saw Sebastian standing at the entrance.

He's on his edge.
